The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of the use of blended learning in developing self-organized learning skills for basic stage students from the perspective of English language teachers. A teacher and a teacher were chosen randomly. The results showed the reality of education about the effectiveness of using blended learning in developing self-organized learning skills among primary school students from the perspective of English language teachers. They are also keen on the basic stage because of its great role in refining the students’ personality and thought, in addition to the ease of electronic communication with students at any time, especially at this time and the developments in the region. In light of the findings of the study, it recommends conducting more educational studies on blended education and a role in the self-organized learning process in terms of its dimensions and applications in educational institutions and other institutions.

This research aimed at studying the views of students of the upper basic stage in public schools about distance learning via educational platforms during the Corona pandemic through a case study based on graphics analysis. One of the qualitative research methods was used, which is the case study, the case study in this research was based on the analysis of graphics, and the research sample consisted of 8 students (7 females and one male) studying in the eighth, ninth and tenth grades from 3 public schools that include the upper basic stage in Mafraq Governorate. The research tools also included a case study through drawing to reveal the mental methods of individuals against facts and events, and the research reached three main conclusions. First: that students in the eighth, ninth, and tenth grades of upper basic schools rely to a large extent on laptops to use educational platforms during the Corona pandemic. Second: The method of educational platforms in presenting information does not answer the inquiries of some students, so it does not replace face-to-face learning. Third: The graphics showed that the frequent use of these technologies by the student and the teacher led to health problems for them, such as visual fatigue. Accordingly, the researcher made recommendations to those in charge of educational platforms represented in the need to simplify and facilitate the scientific concepts presented on educational platforms using interesting methods such as puppet theater and cartoon films that present the subject in a simplified manner, and the need to integrate face-to-face and distance education, and recommendations for school administrations represented by targeted awareness campaigns For parents to reduce their behaviors that led their children to neglect and dependence on parents during the distance learning period, and recommendations to parents about the need to instill a sense of security in the hearts of their children, and increase the care and love provided to them, especially in this critical age stage (adolescence), and the presence of an individual with patience and positivity In the family and has a close relationship with the student, he helps him review the book’s information after attending lessons on educational platforms and other knowledge channels.

Background subtraction is the first and basic stage in video analysis and smart surveillance to extract moving objects. In fact, the background subtraction library (BGSLibrary) was created by Andrews Sobral in 2012, which currently combines 43 background subtraction algorithms from the most popular and widely used in the field of video analysis. Each algorithm has its own characteristics, strengths and weaknesses in extracting moving objects. The evaluation allows the identification of these characteristics and helps researchers to design the best methods. Unfortunately, the literature lacks a comprehensive evaluation of the algorithms included in the library. Accordingly, the present work will evaluate these algorithms in the BGSLibrary through the segmentation performance, execution time and processor, so as to, achieve a perfect, comprehensive, real-time evaluation of the system. Indeed, a background modeling challenge (BMC) dataset was selected using the synthetic video with the presence of noise. Results are presented in tables, columns and foreground masks.

This study aimed to find mechanisms, methods, and strategies that should be considered in teaching mathematics to students with Down syndrome. The study relied on the descriptive approach, as it focused on theoretical literature and previous studies related to the topic. The study concluded that the process of teaching mathematics derives from the strategy based on the transition from perceived to abstract, and the process of teaching mathematics passes through three stages, the first of which is the sensory stage, which depends on the tools that the child can pick up and touch, then the semi-sensory stage and includes pictures and drawings related to reality and close to the environment Child, ending with the abstract phase based on the use of symbols. The study also found the ability of Down syndrome students to learn many basic math skills and concepts such as the skill of classification, counting, addition and subtraction, the study also found that the success of Down syndrome education methods depends on the teacher’s understanding of the lesson plan, the teacher’s ability to segment each goal into simple sub-goals, and reliance primarily on the strengths of Down syndrome students. It also indicated that teachers must consider the characteristics of students with Down syndrome, and choose the methods that are appropriate with their characteristics and their abilities, and necessity The teacher’s application of various methods in evaluating students in proportion to the individual differences between them, and the selection of methods that fit these characteristics and abilities that they achieve the best possible learning, and in a way that achieves psychological and social compatibility, and provide them with life skills that facilitates’ engaging in working life, independence and self-reliance.

As discussed in both the original study and the current chapter, the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) is a required neural player in the aesthetic appraisal and a basic stage of the aesthetic experience. As the distinct activation that the authors found in the neuroimaging study occurred when participants rated as beautiful natural, artistic, and decorative stimuli, we concluded that left DLPFC responded to aesthetic qualities in general and not to specific artistic qualities. More recent studies indicate that the function of the LPFC in relation to aesthetics may be to exercise cognitive control to direct attention with a proper aesthetic orientation. Other studies suggest that LPFC is part of a frontal “evaluative” network which supports an analysis of emotional response and personal relevance. Specifically, left DLPFC seems to affect the evaluation of different images, disengaging from a habitual mode of identifying objects in order to adopt an aesthetic perspective.

The study aimed to identify the relationship between science teachers' use of the flipped classroom strategy and their attitudes towards developing higher-order thinking skills among students of the higher basic stage in the Hebron governorate. In order to achieve the goal of the study, the researcher followed the descriptive and analytical approach, as she/he conducted a questionnaire to measure the extent to which science teachers use the flipped classroom strategy, and she conducted another questionnaire to measure the attitudes of science teachers towards developing higher-order thinking skills among students of the higher basic stage. Then, the two questionnaire sheets are electronically applied to a random sample of science teachers in the Hebron governorate. The number of the sample is (136) teachers in all directorates of the Hebron governorate. The results have shown that science teachers use the flipped classroom strategy frequently. Moreover, science teachers' attitudes towards developing higher-order thinking skills among students were at a high level, as the field of "critical thinking skills" came in the first place, followed by "problem-solving skills", however, "creative thinking skills" ranked last. Besides, the results have shown a strong correlation between science teachers ’use of the flipped classroom strategy and teachers' attitudes towards developing students' higher-order thinking skills. And, there are statistically significant differences in the science teachers' use of the flipped classroom strategy in teaching students of the higher basic stage in the Hebron governorate as well as in the science teachers' attitudes towards developing higher-order thinking skills among students of the higher basic stage in the Hebron governorate according to the gender variable for females, and according to the directorate variable for the directorate North Hebron. given the findings of the study; The researcher recommended that it is necessary to provide means of support to encourage teachers to employ modern technologies in teaching thinking. It is also necessary to conduct more studies dealing with the relationship between teachers' attitudes towards developing higher thinking skills and employing other teaching strategies and to conduct evaluation studies to examine the effectiveness of flipped learning strategies in teaching thinking.
