Background: TubercuIosis is a health problem of global concern, especially in Southeast Asia. Indonesia is the second-Largest contributor to tuberculosis after India. Some causes influence the increasing burden of tuberculosis in Indonesia, including environmental and socio-economic factors. Therefore, spatial analysis is needed to see the distribution of tuberculosis cases based on risk factors. This study focuses on conducting spatial analysis in Magelang City. Methods: This research is a quantitative descriptive observational study using an ecologic study approach. The sample size in this study was 38 tuberculosis patients with total sampling. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets. Data analyzed by software ArcGIS. results: The spatial pattern of distribution occurred according to the Iow population density (97.4%), the environmental temperature meet the requirements (84.2%), the air humidity meet the requirements (100%), the BCG immunization coverage was not being met (100%), the distance to health services is close (100%), the household with low-level social welfare is at the most (23.7%). Conclusion: An urban village with the highest tuberculosis cases is in the household with low-level social welfare is at the most. There is a need to improve social welfare and coverage of BCG immunization.

ABSTRACT        The purpose of this study was to discuss and analyze the Effect of Learning Activity on Learning Achievement of Social Studies Subjects for Grade VII Students at Raden Patah Islamic Middle School in Depok. This research method uses quantitative descriptive with a correlational study approach of two data variables. Data collection improves social studies learning by using a behavioral scale questionnaire consisting of 25 statements to 30 respondents.        The results showed a range of Variable X data between scores 40 - 79 and dominated by class intervals 61 - 67 (40%). Overall this data interval class is above a score of 61 (80%). The mode, median and mean values of the data are 62, 61, 60, respectively. The description of this data shows the number of students interacting with variable X is sufficient, but not yet optimal. Variable Y data shows the range of data between scores 8-18 and is dominated by data interval classes 14-15 (40%). Class interval data above a score of 12 is 80%. The mode, median and mean values of the data are 14.4, 14.0 and 13.6, respectively. This data condition illustrates the number of students who have a significant learning achievement (80%).        Data analysis showed that there was an influence (Variable X) on (Variable Y) with a correlation value of rxy = 0.757 and the results of the t-test = 6.128, whose values were greater than the values in Tables r and t standard. The effectiveness of using Variable X to Variable Y is 57.3% and there are other factors (42.7%) that are not yet known. Keywords: Creative Learning, Learning Achievement, Social Studies Subjects

Background: The number of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) cases in Indonesia from January to February 2016 was 8,487 with 108 deaths. DHF is an infectious disease that continues to increase from 2014 until 2016 in Manado city. DHF cases in Talaud Islands Regency from 2014 to 2016 were 143 cases. Regional spatial analysis would simplify the distribution of DHF cases in high-risk areas. To be aware of the DHF outbreak cycle, it is necessary to model spatial risk factors based on geographic information systems (GIS) to tackle and eradicate DHF cases by region. Methods: This study aimed to analyze the spread of DHF in Talaud regency based on age, sex, population density and area height. The design of this research is qualitative analytic by using an ecological study approach. The research scope was 19 districts in Talaud regency. Secondary data are used which consists of case number, age, sex, population density, and area height taken from the Talaud district health office with 66 DHF cases in 2018-2019 and analyzed using the GIS approach through spatial analysis. Results: Based on the number of DHF cases that is most in the age group of 5-11 years. Male gender is more likely to suffer from DHF than female. Spatial description of the condition of the altitude in the Talaud Islands regency at risk of suffering from DHF is>50 meters above sea level. Spatial description of population density with most DHF cases is not densely populated area with less than 1,620 inhabitants per km.Conclusions: The health office of Talaud islands regency needs to actively promote health by providing information about eradicating mosquitoes.

We studied the association that exists between the epidemiological type clustering of isolates of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and certain clinical, epidemiological and socio-economic characteristics of tuberculosis patients in the Elche health district of Spain. A total of 144 patients diagnosed between 1993 and 1999 and whose isolates had been genotyped by IS6110–RFLP in an earlier study were included. Multivariate analysis showed that the independent variables associated with clustering of strain types were: age (1–25 years, OR 2·92, 95% CI 0·83–10·3), a high percentage of infection in the first circle of contacts (OR 2·89, 95% CI 0·96–8·68), urban dwelling (OR 2·12, 95% CI 0·73–6·2), use of bronchoscopy to obtain samples (OR 16·3, 95% CI 2·3–11·5) and working contact with many people (OR 2·81, 95% CI 0·94–8·3). These data contribute to a better understanding of the epidemiology of tuberculosis and improved systems of control.

The application of the principles of good governance is not only limited to ministries and government agencies or central and regional government levels. The application of good governance needs to be extended to non-governmental social institutions such as children's social welfare institutions. Sejati Orphanage of Muhammadiyah Rappang is one of the social welfare institutions of children in South Sulawesi, founded by H. ismail Ambo Mariama since 1950 as a form of social concern for the massacre known as the 40,000 victims in December 1949 in South Sulawesi. This research aims to determine the level of participation and application of the principles of good governance in the orphanage. This research uses quantitative descriptive method by describing the two variables using the Likert scale and examining the relationship between the two variables using linear regression analysis. Samples is 30 was taken from 150 populations. The results show that the level of participation and application of the principles of good governance are included in the excellent category. While the level of participation influences 42.2 percent of the application of the principles of good governance. This shows that the application of the principles of good governance in social institutions is easier compared to other institutions.
