In this study, it was aimed to determine the opinions of the students on the teaching astronomy with models (TAM) by teaching the astronomy concepts in the "Solar System and Beyond" unit of the Science curriculum with hands-on models. Six different "hands-on" models have been developed in this direction. The study group of the study constitutes a total of 40 middle school seventh grade students who are studying in one of the state schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in Samsun province. In the study, case study method was used among qualitative research methods. The data of the study were gathered using the Teaching Astronomy with Models Assessment Form (TAMAF) and analyzed using the content analysis technique. As a result of the analysis, students stated that they think that they comprehend the subjects easier and better by using “hands-on” models and therefore make the learning permanent. Besides, the visuality of the models are liked by the students and also the lessons thought with the models are observed to be entertaining and enjoyable. Finally, it was determined that the most favourite models of students are constellations and eclipses. Based on these results, it is proposed to extend and popularize the teaching using the “hands-on” model and to support the curriculums and schools using “hands-on” models.Extended English abstract is in the end of Full Text PDF (TURKISH) file. ÖzetBu çalışmada Fen Bilimleri öğretim programında yer alan “Güneş Sistemi ve Ötesi” Ünitesi içerisindeki astronomi kavramlarının fiziksel modeller yardımıyla öğretilmesi sonucu öğrencilerin modellerle astronomi öğretimine (MAÖ) ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda altı farklı “hands-on (fiziksel model[1])” model geliştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Samsun ilinde Millî Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı devlet okullarından birinde öğrenim gören toplam 40 ortaokul 7. sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması (örnek olay incelemesi) yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın verileri Modellerle Astronomi Öğretimi Değerlendirme Formu (MAÖDF) kullanılarak elde edilmiş olup, içerik analizi tekniği kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Analizler sonucunda öğrenciler, fiziksel modeller sayesinde konuları daha kolay ve iyi kavradıklarını, buna bağlı olarak da kalıcı öğrenme gerçekleştirdiklerini düşündüklerini ifade etmişlerdir. Bunun yanı sıra modellerin görselliğinin öğrenciler tarafından beğenildiği, modellerle yapılan derslerin de eğlenceli ve keyifli geçtiği belirtilmiştir. Son olarak öğrencilerin en çok beğendikleri modellerin takımyıldızları ve tutulmalar modelleri oldukları saptanmıştır. Bu sonuçlardan yola çıkarak, fiziksel model kullanılarak yapılan öğretimin yaygınlaştırılması, bunun içinde öğretim programlarının ve okulların fiziksel modellerle desteklenmesi önerilmiştir.

RESUMOObjetivo: compreender a busca por cuidado do câncer a partir da percepção de pacientes e familiares/cuidadores. Método: estudo qualitativo, exploratório-descritivo e por método de estudo de caso. Participaram pacientes que realizam ou realizaram tratamento de câncer e familiares/cuidadores que os acompanham, na busca por cuidado do câncer, a partir da aplicação de questionários e entrevista aberta. Os dados da entrevista foram transcritos e analisados pela técnica de Análise de Conteúdo, na modalidade Análise Temática, emergindo categorias. Resultados: apresentam-se em duas categorias - 1) A trajetória de busca por cuidado do câncer, subdividida em “A trajetória entre sintomatologia”, “Recebimento do diagnóstico” e “A trajetória do diagnóstico ao tratamento”; 2) Enfrentamento da doença, subdivida em “Alterações na rotina”, “Gastos financeiros”, “Alterações emocionais”, “Estigma e espiritualidade” e “Apoio dos profissionais da saúde”. Conclusão: pacientes e familiares enfrentam diversas dificuldades para realizar a busca por cuidado do câncer desde a etapa inicial, para a obtenção do diagnóstico de câncer, até o final do tratamento. O estudo provê informações embasadas cientificamente e visa a contribuir para o avanço científico nas áreas da Oncologia e Enfermagem. Além de tudo, possui o intuito de transmitir conhecimento e levantar processo reflexivo para possíveis soluções sobre a problemática abordada. This study aims to analyze to what extent the competency of ‘Communication in Foreign Languages’ and ‘Digital Competency’ which are addressed in Turkish Qualifications Framework and instruction programs in Turkey are covered by life sciences course books. The research was performed through the case study method which was within the context of qualitative research models. In the study, life sciences course books which were selected through convenience sampling, approved by the Board of Instruction and Education of the Ministry of National Education of Turkey and used in the first, second and third years of primary schools in the school year of 2018-2019 were examined. As per results obtained from research findings, it was found that the competency of ‘Communication in Foreign Languages’ and ‘Digital Competency’ were insufficiently referred to in course books. On the basis of research findings, recommendations intended for designers, teachers and researchers of instruction programs of life sciences course were presented.

<p class="apa">Prior to the vital role that social capital plays in accomplishing prosperity for any educational tertiary institution, it was emphasised in several countries’ agendas, including the Sultanate of Oman. This study endeavours to explore the impediments facing the enhancement of the social capital in Omani educational tertiary institutions through the lens of community engagement. A case study method employing a purely qualitative approach was employed at one of the six public Colleges of Applied Sciences in Oman. Twelve academicians were purposively semi-structured interviewed. Performing the thematic analysis technique, the results revealed more than ten key impediments. Some implications to stakeholders were illustrated and several suggestions were provided for better performances in terms of this specific capital.</p>

This study aims to describe the implementation of educational infrastructure management at IAIN Surakarta in the era of technological disruption, to identify the implementation of the transformation of educational infrastructure management at IAIN Surakarta in the era of technological disruption, and to find the benefits of transforming educational infrastructure management at IAIN Surakarta in the era of technological disruption. This research uses a descriptive qualitative case study method. The place of research is at the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Surakarta Campus. Sources of research data using a combined method, namely, first, purposive sampling by determining the informants who know in depth about the focus of research. Second, with what goes on like a snowball or snowball sampling. The data of this research was extracted from the research subject, namely the academic community of IAIN Surkarta, and the informants were the leaders of the academic community of IAIN Surkarta starting from the Chancellor, Assistant Chancellor and other leaders. Data collection techniques in this study using documents, in-depth interviews, and observation. The method used to check the validity of the data is the credibility test, transferability test, dependability test, and confirmability test. The data analysis technique used in this research is through interactive analysis techniques. The results show that IAIN Surakarta has transformed the development of educational infrastructure through very mature management under the leadership of the Chancellor of IAIN Surakarta; the implementation of the transformation of educational infrastructure management at IAIN Surakarta in the era of technological disruption has run smoothly with the support of human resources and increasingly modern information and technology systems, various existing infrastructure facilities have met the standards set and are able to meet various demands of globalization; The benefits of transforming the management of educational infrastructure at IAIN Surakarta in the era of technological disruption are enormous for the progress of the IAIN Surakarta campus in supporting the smooth quality of the learning process.

This article provides a description of the implementation of problem-based learning of fiqih with musyawarah activities at Pondok Pesantren Al-Anwar Sarang Rembang Central Java. The problem of this article focuses on two problems, how the implementation of problem-based learning of fiqih by musyawarah at Pondok Pesantren Al-Anwar and the advantages and disadvantages of problem based-learning of fiqh with musyawarah activities. This paper is the result of qualitative research using case study method. Data collection used participant observation, interview, and documentation techniques. To determine the sample of data source as informant, this research uses purposive sampling and snowball sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis with phenomenology approach. The Analysis begins since the researcher goes to the place and it is done interactively and continuously until being completed. It can be concluded that the activities of musyawarah is a form of problem-based learning of fiqih in the style of pesantren. In terms of principles, characteristics, as well as learning stages in musyawarah activities have been in accordance with the concept of problem-based learning.

This research aims to find out the budgeting process of the National Amil Zakat Agency (LAZNAS) Nurul Hayat. The research data was obtained through the Nurul Hayat Foundation. The method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study method. Data collection techniques using direct interviews. Interviews were conducted with the Director of Finance, Director of Operations, Director of Empowerment, and Director of ZIS. The analysis technique uses data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that LAZNAS Nurul Hayat is an institution that uses a mixed method; the budgeting process includes the stages of preparation, budget ratification, implementation, and evaluation reporting. The budget system used is in accordance with a non-profit legal entity in the form of a foundation as stipulated in Law Number 28 of 2004.Keywords: budgeting process, non-profit, Nurul Hayat

The author argues that the implementation of learning in the tahfizil quran pesantren gives birth to many students memorizing the Koran at a young age, it is all inseparable from a good curriculum, which includes careful curriculum planning, and curriculum planning which includes the formulation of tahfiz goals, tahfiz material, and evaluation. tahfiz. Although there are several obstacles, namely teachers who teach tahfiz are not from the teacher faculty. research method used in this research is the case study method. A case study ( Case Study ) is a study conducted in an incentive, detailed and in-depth manner towards an organization, institution or specific phenomenon. According to Nasution, a case study is a form of research that can be carried out on an individual, a group of individuals, a human group (teacher, ethnic group), human environment (village), or social institutions. Result is Curriculum planning at the Islamic boarding school Tahfizil quran foundation is the realization of people who memorize and have the insight of the Qur'an and have a spiritual, intellectual, and moral balance towards a generation that is civilized by the Qur'an, highly committed to actualizing the teachings of the Al-Qur'an. -Qur'an and beneficial to society. Materials for learning at the Islamic Center foundation pesantren are for SD mainimal 5 Juz, while for Madrasah Tsanawiyah for class VII 5 Juz, for grade VII 10 Juz and for grade IX 15 Juz, Madrasah Aliyah 20 to 25 and for Madrasah Tahfizhil Quran are the targets. 30 juz. In the Tahfizil quran Islamic boarding school there are several methods used, namely: the si'maan method (listening to memorization), the quiz method (giving questions), the splicing method, the talaqqi method and the sorongan method. Target achievement of 2 years 30 chapters with the burden of learning 4 hours / day. And the learning schedule, from morning to dawn until 7 o'clock, and the target is 1 to 2 pages per day (10 to 20 days 1 juz, only then 10 days for memorizing muraja'ah. Evaluation of learning in the tahfizhil quran pesantren by looking at the progress of the students' memorization.Implementation of learning is the process of the learning implementation plan (RPP) which includes preliminary activities, core and pentup activities. In this Islamic boarding school specifically for the tahfizil Quran, it does not use money.

This study aims to identify the motivation of honorary teachers who teach and also the reason they have survived to date at SMK Negeri 1 Lamongan. This study uses a qualitative research approach with a case study method. Infoman in this research amounted to six people, the types and sources of data used included primary data. Data retrieval techniques use interviews. The data analysis technique uses 3 stages that is, data reduction, data display (data presentation), and conclusion drawing / verification. The results of this study can be concluded that the work motivation of the internal motivational honorary teacher is the desire to gain recognition. External motivation is good environmental conditions, good supervision, and flexible regulations. The reasons that make honorary teachers survive teaching for tens of years are needs, home distance factors, age factors, and also work environment factors.

The purpose of this study was to obtain information on the constraints of distance learning (PJJ) during the Covid-19 pandemic in elementary schools. This research uses an exploratory case study method and the research approach uses a qualitative case study method. In this study, respondents were 5 people, consisting of two teachers, namely a teacher at SDN 01 Cirendeu and a teacher at SD Negeri Pondok Cabe Udik 01 and three parents of students in an elementary school in South Tangerang. Semi-structured interviews were conducted and a list of questions compiled for interviews was developed based on related literature. The validity of the data in this study used triangulation in the data collection method, through interviews with 5 informants, namely teachers and parents. The data analysis technique uses thematic analysis. The results of the research are constraints on the availability of learning media (mobile phones, computers, or laptops), lack of mastery of science and technology (science and technology), cost constraints for purchasing internet packages (quota), time constraints (the need for additional time to accompany children to learn from home and time. which contradicts working parents), the added constraints/burdens for parents to teach their children at home cause stress for parents and also feel more irritable. Barriers to communication and socialization between students, teachers, and parents are reduced and the constraints on working hours are unlimited for teachers because they have to communicate intensely and coordinate with parents, other teachers, and school principals.

This study is an investigation of the effects of plugged and unplugged activities in a programming course using the Programming in Seven Steps (PSS) model on pupils' satisfaction and activity type preferences. A case study method was used in the classroom was the case. Data included students' diary, their responses on semi-structured interview forms, and semi-structured interviews with a selected sub-set of students. The collected data were analyzed by content analysis technique. It has been found that there are different factors that positively affect student satisfaction for "Conditional Structures", "Variables" and "Loops" courses that are processed according to YAP model. In addition, students' preferences and reasons for activity type differ. Study results show that training students with their preferred activity types increases their satisfaction and enable them to overcome associated difficulties more easily. It is concluded that because the PSS model is effective with students with different learning environment preferences, it can be used as a model to increase learner satisfaction with programming instruction.
