Education is a process of developing the potential that God has given to humans. In reality, the potential that God has given has not been able to be developed perfectly in the world of education. Low morale and spiritual awareness often mushroomed, which resulted in severe moral degradation. There is a need to embed the Islamic spirit into the system, concepts, and educational material so that education is no longer partial. The Koran provides comprehensive and integrative guidance for humans concerning education. The proof of the perfection of the Koran is illustrated by the concept of ūlūl ‘ilmi. In this study, researchers sought to explore and understand the concept of ūlūl ‘ilmi in the Koran by referring to tafsīr mu’tabaroħ. The purpose of this research is to formulate the generation of ūlūl ‘ilmi as the basis for developing the goals of Islamic education. This research used a qualitative approach through analytical methods. Based on the findings and analysis in this study, it was found that the generation of ūlūl ‘ilmi is someone who has knowledge based on reality, is broad-minded, his intelligence can reach makrifat, and his heart is united in monotheism because it has a level of khasyyah like the clerics (ulama). The ūlūl ‘ilmi generation has different characteristics from the others, which have the nuances of Ilāyyah, spiritual, and bathiniyyah. This characteristic covers six domains, namely cognitive domain, affective domain, psychomotor domain, social domain, ethical domain, and spiritual domain. Therefore, the development of Islamic education goals into a generation Ūlul Ilmi is expected to be able to develop quality human resources and become a superior generation of the nation's hopes in building the progress of Islamic civilization.

The aim of this present study is to initiate Islamic education in order to rectify the educational paradigm in Indonesia. With respect to the research methodology, this study employed a qualitative approach and literature study method. In its implementation, the collected data was then analyzed using a descriptive analysis method. Based on the results of the discussion, in order to rectify the educational paradigm in Indonesia, it should initially change the secularism paradigm that has been fossilized in the world of education into the paradigm of Islam, al-Qur`an, and Tauhid. As a consequence, this paradigm will have implications for the establishment of the conceptualized education system that inevitably also affects the to-be-achieved educational objectives. In order to realize a good education system, there should be integration between the elements of education practitioners which consist of family, mosques/schools/campuses, and society. As a result, those aforementioned objectives will be successfully achieved in the moment when Islamic rules are fully implemented in all aspects of life. Therefore, it is necessary to continuously educate the public regarding the importance of implementing Islamic rules in all aspects of life, including in the aspect of education.

This research was conducted to review various problems in the world of education and solutions in dealing with them. The purpose of this research is to explore Islamic and western sociological theories as a basis for spiritual pedagogic development. This study uses a qualitative approach and literature study methods. The results in this study indicate that Islam pays special attention to human potential as social beings. In the Quran, there are three sociological concepts, namely tadafu, ta'aruf, and ta'awun. The three of them are the foundation that strengthens that humans have a natural tendency to defend the truth and oppose evil, and live amid the diversity of characteristics of fellow humans. With various studies on sociology, inclusive Islamic education needs to be applied in order to foster students in caring for their relationship with God and with fellow humans. Thus, religion plays a role as a solution in the midst of human life to form a civil society, which promotes the values of monotheism in its social interactions.

This article discusses the metaphysical construction of divinity in the Indonesian Islamic education institutions, namely madrasa and pesantren. The research has been held in Malang, East Java. It focuses on constructing the negative concept of theology that grows and develops in these Islamic education institutions. In doing so, this study employs a qualitative approach coupled with Miles’ and Hubermann’s data analysis. The study finds that negative theological discourse is an arena of “prophetization” of the divine values whose style of expression is apophatic. Therefore, it constructs its theological knowledge based on the logic of negation and paradox. It also “rejects” the knowledge construction for the same reason. This view affects the system of Islamic education and the framework of its educational objectives to be more oriented to the aspects of humanity and divinity or the profane and transcendental dimension. In other words, negative theology has implications for the axiology of Islamic education.

Intelligence has connectivity to the educational process as a concrete step in the development of human character as caliph in the world to think of all God ‘s creation. Islamic education teaches a life of meaning to the concept of “amar ma’ruf nahi mungkar”. It is really clear that various concepts in Islamic education are not adjusted enough with the development period that is increasingly sophisticated and globalized. Islamic civilization has been built since the Prophet Muhammad SAW, and other thinkers in teaching a sense of knowledge that is based on Al- Quran and Al - Hadits as the main guideline.Prophetic Intelligence provides illustration that in transforming education through the concrete steps for being “insan Kamil” that is “rahmatan lil alamin”. Intelligence Prophetic provides illustration that in transforming education through the concrete steps for being ‘Insan Kamil’ that is ‘rahmatan lil alamin’.

Epistemology as a branch in philosophy has an important position in science including in Islamic education. This research critically examines the epistemological construction of Islamic education through a perspective of falsification which was coined by Karl R. Popper. This research used a qualitative approach to the type of literature study and analyzes data through a productive hermeneutical approach. The conclusion of this research shows that scientific epistemology needs to be designed to understand the theories, concepts, and propositions of the Islamic education system. Scientific epistemology contains the verificative-philosophical logic and intuition-revelation logic (Qur'an and al-Hadith. This epistemology has a rational-critical, empirical, intuitive, and prophetic (illahiyah) dimension and it is called Prophetic Criticism. The implication is that Islamic education will have an integrative view of the profane (physical) and transcendental (metaphysical) side. Islamic education is the logical-superlogical content of subjective-objective thinking, the world of theory-supratheory, and critical argumentation with a rational-intuitive foundation of self and outside self-views.
