Abstract During the last 20 years, organocatalysis has significantly advanced as a field. Thanks to contributions from hundreds of groups and companies around the world, the area has risen from a few mechanistically ill-defined niche reactions, to one of the most vibrant and innovative fields in chemistry, providing several well-defined generic activation modes for selective catalysis. Organocatalysis is also on the rise in industrial settings, especially for the production of enantiomers, which are of use in fine chemistry, pharma, crop-protection, and fragrance chemistry. Here we will look at some of the specific elements of organocatalysis that we think are particularly attractive and contribute to this successful development.

Protection of crop and ornamental plants from noxious organisms — insects, nematodes, mites, pathogens and weeds — is indispensable to modern agriculture. Despite intensive control efforts, about 50% of the world's crops are lost to these organisms, at an estimated annual cost of about 400 billion dollars. Ever since the advent of synthetic pesticides in the 1940s, modern crop protection has been largely based on chemical control. Pesticide expenditures are about 20% of total farming input costs, although this figure varies substantially according to crop and region. Mounting environmental concerns and pest control failures have made It increasingly clear that the use of toxic pesticides In agriculture should be drastically reduced all over the world.

Competitiveness is the main driving force to the stable prosperity of a country and the increase of its citizens’ welfare. Agriculture is an important part of the economy of any country. The processing industries are a powerful driving force for rural development. The necessary prerequisite to ensure food security of any country is the successful development of the food market. In Ukraine approximately 10 thousand companies are involved in the food production. The food industry is among the leaders in terms of foreign direct investment into the industry of Ukraine. Transnational corporations are actively operating in the field of food production in Ukraine. The agro-industrial complex in general and food industry in particular can guarantee a significant increase in GDP of a country and as a result improve its position in the world markets.Journal of agricultural sciences №15 (02): 166-172, 2015

Biotic stress is a major cause for pre and postharvest losses in agriculture. Food crops of the world are damaged by more than of 10,000 species of insects 30,000 species of weeds, 1,00, 000 types of diseases (due to fungi, viruses, bacteria and various microbes) and a 1,000 species of nematodes. Modern day management practices for the above specified stress factors largely depends on the utilization of synthetic pesticides. Pesticide misuse in numerous sectors of agriculture frequently has often linked to health issues and environmental pollution around the world. Thus, there is a growing interest in replacing or possibly supplementing the prevailing control strategies with new and safer techniques. One of the promising management tools in this new state of affairs for crop protection is microbial pesticides. At present, only 3% of plant protectants used globally are covered by bio pesticides, but their growth rate indicates an increasing trend in the past two decades. The discovery of insecticidal property of Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) indicated a more extensive part of organism based natural control. Microbial pesticides comprise of a microorganisms (bacterium, fungus, virus or protozoan) or toxins produced by them as the active ingredient. The most commonly used microbial pesticides are entomopathogenic fungi (Metarhizium, Beauveria and Verticillium), entomopathogenic bacteria (Bt), entomopathogenic nematode (Steinernema and Heterorhabditis) and baculoviruses (NPV and GV) which able to cause disease in insects. Microbial insecticides are promising alternative to ecologically disruptive pest control measures as they are no longer harmful to the environment and non target organisms. If deployed appropriately, microbial insecticides have capability to bring sustainability to global agriculture for food and food safety.

India is the world's second-largest producer of vegetables next to China, but the annual loss of fresh vegetables on an average is about 12 per cent in India which is significantly affecting the agricultural economy. Thus, crop protection is very much essential to prevent losses and feed the growing population. Chemical crop protection in India began in the year 1947-48 with the introduction of Benzene Hexa Chloride (BHC). Today India is the fourth largest producer of pesticide in the world. But over the years pesticides are being used more indiscriminately and unscientifically which has led to a negative impact on humans, soil, water and the environment as a whole. Due to the unscientific pesticide application, the pests gradually develop resistance to the poison that normally kills them. Even with all these ill-effects, it is inevitable to use pesticides to grow the crops and therefore they can be called as a necessary evil. The present study was conducted in Kolar district of Karnataka state in India during 2018-19 to ascertain the attitude of vegetable growers towards mitigating the ill-effects of agricultural chemicals. The data was collected from 120 vegetable growers using a pretested interview schedule. It was found that more than half of the vegetable growers (52.50%) had highly favourable attitude towards mitigating the ill-effects of agricultural chemicals; sixty per cent of the vegetable growers were undecided whether to spray pesticides in the opposite direction of the wind or along the direction of the wind. The study facilitates the agriculture and horticulture departments to train farmers enabling them to safely use, handle and store the agricultural chemicals.

The article examines the attitude of the great world religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Confucianism) toward the world of finance, including banking. The issue of usury plays a key role in the evolution of ethical aspects related to obtaining compensation for money lending. The presented analysis also focuses on other aspects of banking activities, such as saving, investing and the institutional development of the banking sector. The author underlines the far-reaching convergence between the religions in this area, in spite of the considerable variation in historical and geographical conditions of their formation. The importance of cultural (religious) differences, including some fundamental nuances that affect the banking management in different regions. For successful development, large multinational corporations have to take into consideration the above-mentioned circumstances, regardless of the globalisation processes.

Appropriate healthcare and psychological support for children and adolescents is essential for the successful development and good mental health. Unfortunately, this is often a neglected element in the healthcare systems around the world. It is known that approximately half of all adult psychiatric disorders start under the age of 14 and that the prevalence of child and adolescent-onset psychiatric conditions is increasing. The real reason for this increase remains unclear but it demands our attention as does the care of affected children, adolescents and their families. Transitions between different age groups need to be made easily navigable for the patients and their families. Many challenges in child and adolescent psychiatry are present, especially in developing countries such as in Serbia. A possible solution for overcoming these challenges is uniting of child and adolescent professional societies from all over the world. These societies should work together to develop unified strategies for diagnosis, treatment and support of children affected by psychiatric conditions. By working closely with pediatricians, family physicians, psychologists, nurses and other professionals, child and adolescent psychiatry can use knowledge and skills to support practice while teaching other professionals how to optimize the utilization of child and adolescent psychiatry services

One of the fast-growing segments of the world economy is the digital (internet) trade in goods and services, which in the future can become an important driver for the development of the common market of goods and services of the EAEU, as well as a tool for ensuring the successful development of the Union. The article indicates that the further development of digital commerce in the EAEU is constrained by a number of problems, including fragmentation of legislation and the lack of specialized strategies in the EAEU countries; rigidity of approaches to the sale of certain types of goods through digital channels in the EAEU; insuffi cient development of special regulation of new payment methods. In this regard, the article indicates the need to form a single regulatory framework for regulating the digital economy in the EAEU, as well as developing and improving the regulatory framework in Russia and other EAEU countries that regulates electronic commerce.

The conventional concept of dental implants completely lacks odontology. Therefore, the dental implant system is quite different from the gompholic mammalian tooth system. Developmental research on artificial dental roots of the mammalian gompholic system has been carried out by the author successfully for the first time in the world from the viewpoint of odontology. Characteristics of the mammalian tooth system are gompholic and heterodontia with tribosphenic tritubercular molars. The meaning of heterodontia in morphology, i.e., several variations in crown and root shapes in different sites of mammalian jawbones are optimal shapes according to the different tooth functions, i.e., sphenic incisors and canines, and tribosphenic-tritubercular molars. For the optimal shapes of teeth adapted to their functions, the gompholic joint system is inevitable, i.e., fibrous articulation with cementoblasts, ligaments with capillaries, and the alveolar bone proper (socket bone). From this viewpoint, the author has developed artificial dental roots of the heterodontia gompholic system. Integrated research on animal experiments, biomechanical research as well as clinical research, have been carried out. It has been proved by microanalyses, microscopy, and scanning electromicroscopy (SEM) that cementoblasts, the cementum, periodontal ligaments, and the alveolar bone proper (socket bone), develop around artificial roots.
