Introduction. The authors investigate a wide range of assessment systems in modern education. They analyze and compare changes in educational assessment procedures, taking into account the periodization of their development and modern requirements and standards. The purpose of the article is to identify and clarify various types of assessment systems and assessment procedures in the context of historical development. Materials and Methods. This theoretical research includes analysis, comparison, and generalization of Russian and international studies on the development of assessment systems based on the concept of the historical and socio-cultural determination of education. The study follows systemic, learner-centered and activity-based approaches in order to present the dynamics of the development of educational assessment as a system comprising interconnected parts and socio-psychological factors. Results. The authors clarified the essence of the dual nature of educational assessment as a didactic and socio-psychological phenomenon. They described the relationship between assessment procedures and the quality of modern education. The study identified the main periods in the development of educational assessment based on the criteria for changing the requirements for the content of education, as well as changes in the assessment system regarding tasks, methods, forms of assessment, point scales and methods of motivation. The authors have developed and justified the historical periodization of educational assessment, which includes eight main stages. The main types of assessment including partial assessment, effective assessment, systemic assessment, standardized assessment, formative assessment, summative assessment, evaluation for management, and rating assessment have been identified and described. Conclusions. The article concludes that modern education implements eight main types of assessment, which have been developed in a historical context. At the same time, standardization of education is considered as the main trend in the formation of assessment systems.

Conventional sensor structure design and related fracture mechanics analysis are based on the single J-integral parameter approach of elastic-plastic fracture mechanics (EPFM). Under low crack constraint cases, the EPFM one-parameter approach generally gives a stress overestimate, which results in a great cost waste of labor and sensor components. The J-A two-parameter approach overcomes this limitation. To enable the extensive application of the J-A approach on theoretical research and sensor engineering problem, under small scale yielding (SSY) conditions, the authors developed an estimate method to conveniently and quickly obtain the constraint (second) parameter A values directly from T-stress. Practical engineering application of sensor structure analysis and design focuses on three-dimensional (3D) structures with biaxial external loading, while the estimate method was developed based on two-dimensional (2D) plain strain condition with uniaxial loading. In the current work, the estimate method was successfully extended to a 3D structure with biaxial loading cases, which is appropriate for practical sensor design. The estimate method extension and validation process was implemented through a thin 3D single edge cracked plate (SECP) specimen. The process implementation was completed in two specified planes of 3D SECP along model thickness. A wide range of material and geometrical properties were applied for the extension and validation process, with material hardening exponent value 3, 5 and 10, and crack length ratio 0.1, 0.3 and 0.7.

All serious theoretical research in the field of communication shows that, under the influence of global processes of globalization, information is increasingly visualized and iconized. Young people communicate using the wide range of opportunities provided by digital technology and the Internet. We spend a lot of our time in the virtual space. Everything seems fraudulently easy - everyone in minutes can upload information that is rapidly becoming available worldwide. Even small children handle as computer technicians. At the same time, the majority of participants in this communication have a substantial deficiency in visual literacy. Even specialists often ignore the language of forms, colors and compositional organization of space, which requires serious preparation, training and continuous specialization. Worldwide there are no good examples, but unfortunately they are not yet available to the cultural community in our country. The report raises a number of questions and issues for discussion and tries to draw attention to possible ways of solution. Keywords: visual communication, iconography, language of colors and forms

Background. The coordination development level influences the execution of any human activity, which is very important for the general perception of this activity and behavior in general. It is especially relevant for to coaches in wellness and sports gymnastics. The aim of the present study was the identification of the coordination skills of coaches of different types of gymnastics, which would improve the process of their professional training. Material and Methods. This review presents a synthesis of research conducted by the author. The following methods of theoretical research were used: abstract and axiomatic methods, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, idealization, comparison and generalization, and projecting. Results. The coaches’ training in different types of gymnastics includes the development of a wide range of professional skills: the tandem of communicative and motor skills that determine one type of complex coordination. The realization of complex coordination presupposes the participation of sensor systems (analyzer systems), which are visual, auditory, tactile, vestibular, and motor systems. The basic speech component of complex coordination in coaches’ activity/behavior determines his/her communicative orientation in the process of teaching. It is explained by the connection between the cultivation of complex coordination skills with the congenital and genetic, anatomical and physiological particularities of the human organism. We determined the coordination abilities, the formation of which contributes to the development of complex coordination skills. Conclusion. Development of integrative coordination abilities is an important part of professional activity of coaches of gymnastics, which requires such preparation.

The article discusses the current problem of evaluative activity, both in pedagogical theory and in pedagogical practice. The assessment system, formed within the framework of the knowledge paradigm of education, reflects the result of the assimilation of knowledge, and not the process of assimilation of knowledge. It does not fully meet the requirements of the activity approach. In addition, the main problem in the assessment is the subjectivity of the assessment. Therefore, according to the requirements of education, the constant component of the modern educational process is subject to development. The authors of the article have proposed the development and implementation of criteria-based assessment technology, which meets the requirements of modern education.

Construction is one of industries that have negative impacts on the environment. Relevant organizations both in Thailand and other countries have been trying to minimize these impacts. Developing green building assessment systems is one of efforts in reducing environmental impacts and using natural resources efficiently. Currently, there are many green building assessment systems with different objectives and assessment scopes in some details. This could cause some confusion in selecting the suitable system for the project in accordance with its environmental, social and economical contexts. This study was aimed to compare and provide overview and components of these systems. The comparison results can be used as a guideline for further development of green building assessment systems. It is found that most major green building assessment systems still concern only environmental issues while newly developed systems have included social and economic issues in their criteria. Furthermore, the system which is developed in one environment could not be used with full capabilities in another. This will lead to more research in developing the assessment system that is more comprehensive and adaptable enough to be used effectively in various environment.
