Era industry 4.0, especially in the field of education, emphasizes the use of digital technology and the internet which develops rapidly in the learning process. Online learning is one form of implementation of learning in industry 4.0 era. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the implementation of the learning system on the higher students’ academic achievement. This research is experimental research, with a pretest-posttest control group design. The purpose of this design is to reveal whether online learning systems can affect students' academic achievement or not that's measured through the learning outcomes of biology education students at the concept of structure and transport of cell membranes in the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar. Based on analyzed data, it shows the difference in the increase of students' learning outcomes taught by the online learning system and without using an online learning system. Based on the findings of this study, students who are taught by online learning system get a higher score of learning outcomes. It can be said that there is an effect of the online learning system toward students’ academic achievement.

This study aims to find out the influence of learning media of E-Learning based on Edmodo toward learning outcomes of biology students at the Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. This type of research was quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this research was all students of fourth-semester where 45 students selected as the sample. The sample consisted of 22 students in experimental group and 23 students in control group.  The result showed that the Sig value was smaller than the level of significance (α). The hypothesis testing with t-test (independent-sample t-test) obtained a sig value was 0.006 with a significance level (α) was 0.0. It appears that there is an effect of E-Learning based on Edmodo toward student's learning outcomes of biology education at the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar.

ABSTRACT [The Effectiveness of Using a Model Problem-based Learning (PBL) to the Results of Physics Learning on High School Students 9 Lubuklinggau]. The objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of problem-based learning model. The research method used experiments with the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this research is the students of class XI A and class XI B SMA N 9 Lubuklinggau City which amounted to 50 students. The  technique of collecting data in this research is a test. The test is in the form of pretest and finally test (posttest). The purpose of holding initial and final tests to determine the effectiveness of Physics learning with PBM model and conventional learning. The test instrument that was made before the test was tested was done by panelists test using Intracorelation class coefficient (ICC). Data analysis technique used in this research is t-test. The results showed that there are differences in student learning outcomes taught with Problem-Based Learning model (PBM) with students taught with conventional learning model. The difference can be seen in the result of t-test which yields t-count> t-table (3,98> 2.01). The effectiveness of using the PBM model in the experimental class is 13.5% better than in the control class. Keywords: Effectiveness; model; PBL; learning outcomes.

The goals of this research are to find the difference of mean the cognitive and psychomotor learning outcome Simulation and Communication Digital due to implementation of POE learning model compare to learning model PRP . This research is using quasi experimental design through the type of Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The hypothesist will be tested using Independent Sample of T-test. The result of this research showed that the mean difference test of students' learning outcomes in the cognitive obtained a significance of 0.006, while the psychomotor learning outcomes obtained a significance of 0.000. Based on the results of the average difference, the learning model that is superior to cognitive and psychomotor is the POE learning model.

This study aims to examine the effect of problem-based learning models on the achievement of student learning outcomes in History subjects. This research was conducted at Pusaka 1 Jakarta Senior High School. The method used in this research is quantitative quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design model. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS as many as four classes at SMAS Pusaka 1 Jakarta. The research sample was determined by purposive sampling technique to determine one class as an experimental class using a problem-based learning model and another class as a control class using conventional learning models. The results of hypothesis testing using the t test, obtained tcount = 9.25,> from ttable = 1.99. Thus, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between problem-based learning models in online learning settings on cognitive learning outcomes of class XI IPS at SMAS Pusaka 1 Jakarta on History Subjects.

This study aimed to determine the effect of applying the flipped classroom model to students’ learning outcomes in oxidation-reduction reactions. It was conducted in SMAN 47 Jakarta. Research method is quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 72 students were taken with purposive sampling. Independent variables are the flipped classroom model and direct instructional. Chemistry learning outcome became a dependent variable. The flipped classroom model is invers of the traditional learning model. Students learn the instructional material at home through videos and discussions in class. Analysis of the requirement’s test showed that the data were normally distributed and had homogeneous variances. Hypothesis testing showed different results in a significant level of 0.05. The differences of average value between pretest and posttest of the experimental group is 12.50. While the differences in the control group was 7.17. It can be concluded that the difference of average value between pretest and posttest of the experimental group is higher than the control group. The flipped classroom model can improve students’ learning outcomes in the oxidation-reduction reaction.

ABSTRACT This research had the purpose to find out the difference between the students’ learning outcomes which were taught by using NHT type of Cooperative Learning Method Assisted Video as Media and Lectures Method Assisted Video as Media as well as to find out how large the effect of NHT type of Cooperative Learning Method Assisted Video as Media in XI IPA class of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Ambawang. This research was Quasi Experimental Research Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique was saturated sample based on the students’ daily tests scores. The techniques of data collection used measurement, indirect observation and direct communication techniques. The data analysis result showed that the mean score of experimental class (72.50) was higher compared to the mean score of control class which was 60.50. Kolmogorov-Smirnov test resultsshowed that one class did not distribute normally so that it was done the statistical analysis using U-mannwhitneytest which obtained 0.028. This result was smaller than α(0.05) which meant that there was difference between experimental and control class. The calculation of effect size showed the value of 0.54 in moderate category and referred to the table Z which obtained 20.54% value. It showed that NHT type of Cooperative Learning Method Assisted Video as Media gave effect on students’ learning outcomes.Keywords : Learning Outcomes, The Reaction Rate, Numbered Heads Together (NHT)

Learning activities in SMAN 2 Banjarbaru has led to the observation of activities, but not optimal guided inquiry approach in detail. This resulted in performance students have not been honed, which is indispensable in biology education. This study aims to: test the significance of student learning outcomes in the form of a product between treatment classes and control classes, test the significance of the process of student learning outcomes between treatment classes and control classes, measure student performance. The study was designed with a quasi-experimental The Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sample of this study is class grade students X5 and X4 as a class treatment and X1 as a control classes. There are differences of the average of learning product treatment classes with control classes in 3 times learning (29.5 to 28.21; 51.2 to 28.93; 70.2 to 27.14). This difference was significant sequential (Fo = 16.76, P = 0.0001, Fo = 43.60, P = 0.0001, Fo = 140.47, P = 0.0001), there are differences in the average learning in the class of treatment with a class of learning control in 3 times learning (53.8 to 30.36; 60 to 37.5: 72.1 to 31.43). This difference was significant sequential (Fo = 88.77, P = 0.0001, Fo = 98.76, P = 0.0001, Fo = 245.92, P = 0.0001, the performance of students, characterized by behavioral skills, social and psychomotor skills assessment has increased.

This research aims to apply the PQ4R strategy with social studies flip book media to 5th grade students of SDN Geluran 1 in online learning. This is done in order to improve student learning outcomes during online learning that is less interactive due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Data were obtained from class 5 SDN Geluran 1, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency. This research method uses pretest-posttest control group design. The results of this study are as follows: (1) Learning activities with the application of PQ4R strategy through flip book media, there are two activities, namely teacher activities, the results of which are 86.25% can be categorized as very good and for student activities, 84% are obtained in the very good category. (2) Student responses to the implementation of the PQ4R strategy through flip book media on social studies learning outcomes in class V, there is a percentage of 73% which can be categorized as good. (3) The application of the PQ4R strategy through flip book media on social studies learning outcomes in grade 5 in a similar sample, namely the experimental group there is thitung > ttabel or 33,609 > 1,708. While the learning outcomes with different types of data, namely the experimental group and the control group obtained thitung of 2,262 and ttabel of 2,000, then thitung > ttabel. In other words, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of PQ4R using flip book media has a very good effect on learning outcomes for social studies subjects for grade 5 students at SDN Geluran 1, Taman Subdistrict, Sidoarjo Regency. The problem often experienced in learning computer for communication to achieve maximum learning outcomes is the accuracy in presenting the materials, so the method used matches the characteristics of the learning material. In this case, the selection of teaching methods must be adjusted to the current situation and condition to obtain innovative and effective method because the students’ ability is heterogeneous. This study aims to determine students’ learning outcomes using cooperative learning STAD, to determine students’ learning outcomes using expository, as well as to find out the difference students’ learning outcomes between cooperative learning STAD and expository methods. Therefore, this study was designed using quasy-experimental with pre-test and post-test non-equivalent control group design. The population was students of D3 Business Administration Program of Politeknik Negeri Malang consisting of two groups, control and experimental class as a sample. Quantitative statistical analysis was used as a tool in this study. Through t-test, it is found the results of obtained t-count is 3.803 and higher than t table = 1.99. It means that there was a significant difference between the learning outcome of the control and the experimental group on computer for communication subject.
