The huge number of rambutan plants in Gunungpati has resulted in the decline of rambutan sales price during harvest season, i.e. Rp 1,500.00 per pack, any unsold rambutan tends to immediately wilt, break and deteriorate. This research is aimed to the sequence of commodity processing priority in order to increase the products value-added. This study is an action research, using descriptive statistic and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results indicate that a counseling since production until post-harvest becomes the highest priority, followed by produce sorting, and availability of produce processing technology. It is necessary to have practical field-based initiatives of businesses farmers who have managed to do the innovations, competitive advantage, and then to rise the competitiveness. To make this value-added-based horticulture commodity processing system work, Government role is required to guiding and evaluating every policy priorities.

AbstrakBerbagai macam upaya dilakukan oleh pemerintah untuk menciptakan lingkungan suatu kota yang bersih, diantaranya melalui penyediaan fasilitas sistem pemrosesan sampah sebagai tahapan akhir dalam pengelolaan sampah. Saat ini, Kabupaten Klungkung, Provinsi Bali memiliki 3 alternatif sistem pemrosesan sampah yang dapat diaplikasikan, yaitu: menggunakan tempat pemrosesan akhir sampah (TPA) eksisting Regional Bangli, membangun TPA baru tersendiri untuk Klungkung, dan pemrosesan akhir di Tempat Olah Sampah Setempat (TOSS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memilih sistem pemrosesan sampah yang paling optimal dengan mempertimbangkan 4 kriteria, yaitu lingkungan, ekonomi, sosial dan teknis (analisis multikriteria) dengan menggunakan pendekatan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Setiap kriteria memiliki beberapa sub kriteria yang dimintakan kepada 35 orang responden yang mewakili 5 institusi pemerintahan daerah terkait untuk dilakukan penilaian perbandingan berpasangan. Penilaian juga dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi setiap alternatif terhadap semua sub kriteria dan kriteria. Secara global, responden lebih memilih pencegahan pencemaran lingkungan (nilai bobot 0,16) sebagai sub kriteria terpenting dari total 13 sub kriteria yang tersedia. Urutan kriteria yang dianggap lebih penting adalah lingkungan (nilai bobot 0,543), sosial (0,181), ekonomi (0,146) dan teknis (0,130). Untuk alternatif pengolahan sampah di fasilitas TOSS dianggap yang paling optimal (total nilai 0,47) disusul TPA Regional Bangli (0,28), terakhir TPA baru (0,25). Suatu alternatif sistem pemrosesan sampah dengan kelebihan dan kekurangan masing-masing harus dipilih yang paling dapat diterima oleh berbagai stakeholder terkait sehingga diharapkan dapat menjadi bagian dari suatu sistem pengelolaan sampah yang berkelanjutan dari suatu kota.AbstractIn order to create a city clean, efforts are taken by government including provision of waste processing system facility as part of waste management system. Each criterion having several sub criterions were assessed by 35 respondents representing 5 local government’s institutions by applying pair wise comparison. The asessement were also performed to evaluate the alternatives to the given criteria and sub criterion. In global, respondents preferred to put environmental pollution prevention (weight of 0.16) as the most important among total 13 sub criterions available. Among the criteria, environment (weight of 0.543) was more prioritized than social (0.181), economic (0.146) and technical (0.130) aspects. Other result showed that TOSS (total value of 0.47) was more preferred than existing TPA of Bangli (0.28), and new TPA of Klungkung (0.25). An alternative of waste processing with its advantages and disadvantages should be chosen and acceptable by the related stakeholders, thus the facility becomes part of sustainable waste management system in a city.

This study aims to identify and analyze the data and information to determine the local featured products through the aspects of value-added, market expansion and production technology. The location is the town of Magelang in which there are many small and medium industries with a wide range of their products. The analytical tools used include common analytical technique used to determine a featured product. They are scoring, value chain and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The result of the study shows that the main criteria for weighting the featured products are competitive advantage, stakeholders' acceptance and societal benefits. Through all three criteria, there are three main local featured products becoming the. They are getuk (the result of processed cassava), kerupuk tahu (tofu crackers) and ceriping ketela (cassava crackers). Furthermore, through a comparative analysis of the criteria, it can be concluded that the product getuk can be considered as the Regional Industry Core Competence based featured product from Magelang.Keywords: Analytical Hierarchy Proces, Regional Product, Competitiveness

This research aims to determine priorities for the development of marine tourism in Tanggamus Regency. To obtain recommendation for priority for marine tourism development, this research focuses on three marine tourism destinations that managed by Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) together with Tanggamus Government, namely Kiluan Bay, Karang Putih Beach, and Muara Indah Tourism Park. Focus Group Discussions (FGD) as well as questionnaire were conducted with informants from Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Agency of Tanggamus Regency, and Pokdarwis representatives from management of the research location. This research uses Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, and the priority preferences for the development of marine tourism are assessed from the aspects of connectivity (C1), governments program support (C2), potential problems (C3), and potential value-added locations (C4).  The results show indicators in each data cluster prioritize Kiluan Bay as the first priority to be developed. The results also recommend to increase tourism promotions in the airport area and optimizing the constructions of access roads (C1), synchronizing tourism development plans in the Regional Spatial Plan to the Lampung Province Medium-Long Term Development Plan and facilitating investors in the tourism sectors (C2), educating the public regarded the potential dangers of disasters (C3), supporting for accommodations, local communities attractions and culinary centers (C4). Local government is responsible for developing local products. The products need to have sustainable competitive advantage. So far, many superior goods have been managed by local SME’s with some difficulties. Regarding this, customer value plays an important role in competitive environment. However, businessman need professional assistance in building customer value and help them competing in global market. Furthermore, SME’s (Small Medium-sized Enterprises) competitive advantage data is needed in order to enhance their business competitiveness. Thus, this research is conducted to analyze the competitive advantage of sasirangan fabric in Martapura’s SME, Banjarmasin, the province of South Kalimantan along with the competitive advantage hierarchy. The object of this research is sasirangan fabric that is managed by local SME in Martapura river, Banjarmasin. The data is obtained through questionnaires with Likert scale given to customers and SME managers. Following this, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) with PriEst software is used to analyze the data. The result shows that the main competitive advantage of sasirangan fabric as the superior goods is its purpose to represent The province of South Kalimantan identity and culture, followed by color, design, and price. Yet, sasirangan fabric need to continuously increase its customer value.

Introduction: Application software helps organizations to perform effectively and efficiently in the competitive environment and hence provide value-added services to customers. High significance of application software stimulates organizations to carrying out thorough evaluation of software project proposals that vendors submit with the view of selecting best proposal with optimal performance when implemented. This process entails a number of assessment criteria, multiple conflicting goals, and increasingly turbulent environment. Therefore the need arises for the use of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) for assessment. Aim: This research focused on development of AHP based model for software project proposal assessment and select proposal that guarantees optimal performance when implemented. Materials and Methods: AHP process was divided into 3 phases: Decomposition phase for identification of decision alternatives and evaluation criteria; Measurement of Preference phase for identifying relative importance of criteria using pairwise comparison matrix; and Synthesis phase to establish percentage of relative priorities for ranking proposals and select the best. Results: 64 variables were established and were hierarchically arranged into 4 levels based on degree of preference. It was evident from the priority graph that functionality (35.26%), quality (22.00%) and usability (19.34%) had the higher priority weights, while cost (2.47%) and vendor services (6.26%) had the least. Conclusion: AHP based software project proposal evaluation framework was presented whereby functionality, quality and usability have more consideration than cost elements in the assessment of software projects. Future work attempts to include organizations size, type of business, and experience criteria in the AHP model and implement the framework.

Dinamika lingkungan bisnis saat ini telah menyulitkan perusahaan untuk memperoleh keunggulan yang berkelanjutan. Prilaku pesaing semakin sulit diprediksi sehingga strategi bersaing perusahaan sering kali tidak cukup kuat untuk mempertahankan daya saingnya di pasar. Sehingga perusahaan hanya mampu memiliki keunggulan bersaing secara sementara saja (trancient competitive advantage) dan tidak berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keunggulan bersaing sementara pada unit bisnis Telkom IDeC yang dievaluasi menggunakan analisis kriteria Transient Competitive Advantage, apakah Telkom IDeC telah siap dan sadar menjadi salah satu unit bisnis yang berada dalam kondisi keunggulan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dan wawancara kepada senior leader. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analytical hierarchy process (AHP). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Telkom IDeC telah siap dan sadar menjadi perusahaan yang memiliki kriteria keunggulan kompetitif sesaat dengan alternatif yang diberikan yakni, 66.2% mempunyai kapabilitas untuk keunggulan sesaat dan 33.8% fokus pada keunggulan yang lama. Kontribusi terbesar diberikan pada aspek systemic innovation (84.7%) diikuti secara berturut-turut oleh customer experience (63.6%), themes (61.5%), dan arenas (55.2%)

With the digitalization experienced as a result of technological developments, global economies have been affected in various ways, and data and information flows have accelerated. Technological developments that significantly increased the spread of information have undoubtedly affected all consumers and businesses. Especially with the widespread use of mobile-internet-based applications, consumers spend more time and shop on digital platforms. It is thought that businesses need to analyze digital consumer attitudes and benefit from marketing activities and digital marketing opportunities to gain a competitive advantage in digital markets. For this reason, it is aimed to determine the criteria that affect the consumer attitude in digital markets and the most suitable firm according to these criteria by using the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method. Within the scope of the research, three different firms in the field of e-trade were evaluated based on expert opinion according to five criteria.
