The community is very enthusiastic about welcoming music education institutions. There are many people's desire to learn music, especially piano, but not all students have the same interest in learning music. In this case the researchers limited the classical piano participants, with ages 4-6 years. Based on observations, the classical piano learning process has a very detailed learning stage, so that students experience boredom in learning. Seeing this fact, the researcher wanted to know the students' interest in learning classical piano in the Music course in Semarang. The benefit of this research is to know the students' interest in learning classical piano. So that these results can be used for the development of methods, materials, strategies, and media in classical piano learning. The development of this learning component has a beneficial impact on the owners of educational institutions, teachers and students. The result of the discussion is that interest has a great influence on students in learning, because if the material and learning methods are not in accordance with their interests, students will not learn as well as possible, because there is no attraction for them. For students aged 4-6 years, students cannot achieve learning goals just because of interest, but other psychological factors such as intelligence, attention, talent, maturity, readiness, especially motivation that can help return the initial interest, namely learning the piano. Motivation from the closest people, usually parents play an important role in the growth of interest.

Sebagai salah satu problem yang sering muncul dalam proses pembelajaran tentang bagaimana pola hubungan antara guru dan peserta didik. Kaidah Kitab Ta’lim al-Muta’allim perlu diimplementasikan dalam lembaga pendidikan. Eksistensi pelaksanaan manajemen pendidikan yang terkandung dalam kitab Ta’lim al-Muta’allim sebagaimana yang diterapkan dalam lembaga-lembaga pendidikan. seperti apa yang sudah diterapkan oleh kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa Manajemen Pendidikan dalam kitab Ta’lim al-muta’allim sangatlah bagus diterapkan dalam lembaga pendidikan saat ini. Pengajaran tentang cara menjadi seorang siswa dan guru yang baik. Pemikiran dan keyakinan Syekh Az Zarnuji tentan kaifiyah etika menuntut ilmu yang itu semua dapat meraih kemanfaatan dan keberkahan ilmu. Manajemen pendidikan yang mengamalkan kaidah kitab Ta’lim al-Muta’allim di SMP Plus Ar Rahmat tentang Pembiasaan karakter yang di terapkan dalam kaidah Ta’lim al-Muta’allim adalah kejujuran, kedisiplinan, kerja keras, fokus kepada tujuan, pantang menyerah, kesederhanaan, menghargai proses, pentingnya keseimbangan ihtiar lahir dan batin, need of achievment, dan beberapa filosofi hidup dan motto yang berisi motivasi. Eksistensi manajemen pendidikan kitab Ta’lim al-Muta’allim di Ar-Rahmat yang masih begitu eksis pelaksanaannya.As one of the problems often arising in the learning process on the pattern of relationships between teachers and students, the rules of the so-called Ta'lim al-Muta'allim need to be implemented in educational institutions. The implementation of education management contained in the Ta'lim a-Muta'allim as applied in educational institutions as what implemented by the principal. The results of the study show that the education management in the Ta'limul Muta'allim is extremely important applied in educational institutions today. It teaches on how to be a good student and teacher. The thoughts of Syekh Az Zarnuji on the ethics of studying in addition to achieving the benefits and blessings of knowledge. Educational management that practices the rules as contained in the Ta'lim al-Muta'allim in Ar Rahmat about the character habituation is honesty, discipline, hard work, focus on goals, never give up, simplicity, respect for the process, the importance of balance of physical and spiritual exercise, need of achievement, and several life philosophies and mottos that contain motivation.

Masa darurat COVID-19 menuntut proses pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring. Hal ini menghambat proses pembelajaran praktik karawitan di SMP Negeri 2 Kretek, Bantul DIY. Oleh karena itu inovasi media pembelajaran cukup dibutuhkan seperti pemanfaatan Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) Logic Pro X dan aplikasi E-Gamelan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan DAW Logic Pro dan E-Gamelan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran praktik karawitan secara daring. Pengumpulan data ditempuh mulai dari observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan tersebut. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan peserta didik di sekolah terkait. Teknik validasi pada penelitian ini menggunakan validasi triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Logic Pro X dan E-Gamelan dalam proses pembelajaran praktik karawitan SMP cukup efektif membantu guru dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Lebih lanjut, sebagian besar para siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap proses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan.  The COVID-19 emergency period demands that the learning process be carried out online. This hinders the learning process of karawitan practice at SMP Negeri 2 Kretek, Bantul DIY. Therefore, learning media innovations are needed, such as Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), Logic Pro X and the E-Gamelan application. This study aims to describe the use of DAW Logic Pro and E-Gamelan as alternative media for learning karawitan practice online. Data collection was taken starting from observation, interviews, and analysis of documents related to these problems. Sources of data in this study were teachers and students in affiliated schools. The validation technique uses a triangulation validation technique. The study results indicate that using Logic Pro X and E-Gamelan media in the learning process of junior high school karawitan practice is quite effective in helping teachers achieve learning goals. Furthermore, most of the students gave a positive response to the learning process carried out.

Celtic traditional musics, such as those originating in Ireland and Scotland, are typically transmitted outside formal avenues. Most studies regarding the learning of Celtic traditional music have focused on the experience of teachers and students, but less is known about the philosophies of organization directors who create contexts for teacher–student interactions. In an effort to fill this gap, this qualitative interview study examines the perspectives of nine directors of organizations located in Europe and North America dedicated to teaching Celtic traditional music. Analysis showed that directors perceived the aural transmission of the music as helping students connect with each other and build community. Further, directors’ beliefs about history tended to motivate their decision-making processes toward fostering community as part of their pedagogical practice. The learning goals they set for students tended to emphasize these intangible goals over and above technique- or repertoire-related aims, with social skills being included in their definitions of “musicianship.” Implications are raised regarding meaning-making and beliefs about history in Celtic traditional music communities.

Innovation of education always becomes hot topic to be discussed from time to time because the fact shows that conventional learning methods are still used in educational institutions. Teachers are always viewed as experts who totally hold the power to transfer knowledge and give doctrines to students. The time has come to change this condition. Lesson study (LS) may be one of ways to shift such old paradigm. In that way, teachers should open their classes to be observed by anyone involved in learning process and activities. Therefore, teachers will know weaknesses and strengths of their methods. This article examines LS as an alternative model of improving professionalism of PAI teahers. The model can be aplied based on the principles of colleagues and mutual learning in order to establish a learning community through a gradual and cyclics steps.

In a globalization era, everything depends on technology. Technology has been developing in the role of teaching and learning process. This study aimed to find out: (1) the teachers’ perception of ICT use in their teaching and learning process; (2) to evaluate the progress of ICT integration program during the last five years at the school;(3) the problems faced by the teacher and students in using the ICT in the classroom; and (4) effects of using ICT in teaching and learning process. Twelve students and two teachers of English were chosen using purposive sampling as the respondents. Method of the study was descriptive qualitative research. The questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentation were used to collect the data. The results of the study showed that first, the teachers had positive attitude toward the use of ICT; second, the integration of ICT was found from the school’s facilities, the teachers’ participation in attending seminar and trainings, and the use of ICT for assignments in and outside the classrooms; third, the number of computers and a power blackout were the problems faced by both teachers and students; and fourth, from the questionnaires and interview, the teachers and students claimed that the ICT had great influence in teaching and learning process.

This paper discusses the findings of a research study concerning the use of e-portfolios to develop learners' autonomy and independence, from the perspectives of teachers and students participating in this study. The findings demonstrate many of the benefits of e-portfolio practice regarding learners’ increased sense of ownership, teacher and peer feedback, enriched learning experience at both individual and technological levels, enhanced opportunity for self-improvement and increased awareness of the learning process. Despite many positive aspects of e-portfolios use, the study reveals some challenges facing students, teachers and support staff, mainly connected with technical problems and Internet access, and the necessity for teachers and learners to change their roles to become more independent in the learning process. The author concludes that e-portfolio is a promising tool to stimulate and challenge students to become independent and self-regulated learners that should be implemented in English language learning at higher educational institutions.

The focus of this research is on the Problems of Learning Islamic Religious Education in SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan. In general, the research was conducted to find out: 1. How are the problems in the learning of Islamic religious education about the methods at SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan, 2. How are the problems with the learning of Islamic religious education about the media at SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan?This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection instruments used were observation, interviews with the data sources were Islamic Religious Education teachers, and students. The analysis was carried out using the constant comparison method. The research method used in this writing is a qualitative descriptive method, field data collection techniques through observation, and interviews. Data management and analysis techniques, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and data verification. The technique guarantees data validity, observation persistence, triangulation, checking members.The purpose of this study was to determine the problems in the learning process of Islamic religious education at SMP Negeri 5 Padang Sidimpuan, to find problems in learning Islamic religious education at SMP Negeri 5 Padansidimpuan.The results of this study indicate that the problems of learning Islamic Religious Education at SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan, regarding the problems of learning Islamic Religious Education, the problems of learning methods of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan are very much mapped to three problematic problems, namely: knowledge problems, teacher cognitive , the technical competency of teachers and the strategic competence of teachers in applying learning methods. That the methods and media are not suitable in determining the learning process is not in accordance with the lesson plan. Based on what the authors do, the problem with the method that the writer finds is problematic, as well as the media that the problems of learning media for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan are classified into two problematic matters, namely: the problem of media availability and the problem of using learning media.

All fields have been supported by technology, especially in the world of education in theteaching and learning process to determine the quality of graduates of a university. In theworld of education Raharja College has implemented iLearning learning methods to achievelearning goals. Students are given learning experiences using the iLearning method which isthe learning process using the Ten Pillar IT iLearning (TPI) media. But the learning processis not working properly and is still using all the paper-based nuances such as learningmethods in general, of course it is considered to be ineffective and efficient. Therefore,nowadays to achieve highly effective learning goals so that the Learning ManagementSystem (LMS) is implemented using iDu where lecturers can provide assignments onlineanytime and anywhere easily that can convey information online, i.e. on the mediaapplication iDu via e-mail Rinfo. So that with the delivery of information via E-mail Rinfo canbe done anywhere and anytime without having to come to campus which of course has aninfluence on the performance of lecturers in giving assessments to students, besides that theinformation delivered is more comprehensive and precise to students not limited by spaceand time.

AbstrakDalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah baik guru maupun siswa, pasti mengharapkan agar mencapai hasil yang sebaik-baiknya. Guru mengharapkan agar siswa berhasil dalam belajarnya, dan siswa mengharapkan guru dapat mengajar dengan baik, sehingga mereka memperoleh hasil belajar yang memuaskan. Dalam kenyataan, harapan  itu tidak selalu terwujud, masih banyak siswa yang tidak memperoleh hasil yang memuaskan. Kesulitan dalam belajar siswa merupakan suatu gejala yang selalu dihadapi oleh guru, karena guru bertanggung jawab untuk mengatasinya, kesulitan belajar ialah suatu keadaan dimana siswa kurang mampu menghadapi tuntutan-tuntutan yang harus dilakukan dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga proses dan hasilnya kurang memuaskan. Ini terjadi karena kemampuan siswa untuk melakukan tugas yang tidak seimbang dengan tuntunan pembelajaran. Ada siswa yang mendapatkan nilai tinggi dan rendah, bahkan ada pula siswa yang gagal dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Kenyataan ini, menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak guru yang menghadapi sejumlah hambatan dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Kesulitan dalam belajar merupakan suatu bentuk gangguan faktor fisik dan psikis yang mendasar yang meliputi pemahaman atau gangguan bahasa, lisan atau tulisan yang dengan sendirinya muncul berbagai kemampuan tidak sempurna untuk mendengarkan, berpikir, berbicara, membaca, menulis atau membuat perhitungan matematika. Termasuk juga kelemahan motorik ringan, gangguan emosional akibat keadaan ekonomi, budaya atau lingkungan yang tidak menguntungkan. Selanjutnya untuk mengetahui kesulitan belajar yang dialami oleh siswa madrasah ibtidaiyah negeri (MIN) maka digunakan metode wawancara dengan guru yang terkait dengan permasalahan yang ada. Adapun kesulitan belajar yang dialami siswa MIN Turikale Kabupaten Maros yang merupakan hasil pengamantan dan hasil wawancara dengan beberapa guru yang ada di sekolah tersebut adalah kesulitan dalam mata pelajaran matematika yaitu berhitung, kemudian kesulitan memahami soal yang diberikan baik itu soal tertulis maupun soal pertanyaan yang ditanyakan langsung oleh guru dan kesulitan yang lainnya adalah terkadang siswa masih sangat sulit untuk mengeluarkan pendapatnya sendiri.Kata Kunci: Peranan, Guru, Mengatasi ,Kesulitan, Belajar AbstractIn the learning process at schools both teachears and students , surely expect to achieve the best results. The teacher expects that the students succeed in their learning, and students expect the teacher to be able to teach well, in order to they obtain satisfying learning outcame. In reality, the hope is not always realized. There are still many students who don’t get satisfactory result. The difficulties in student learning is a symptom that is always faced by the teacher because the teacher is responsible for dealing with it. The learning difficulties are a situation where students are less able to face the demands that must be made in the learning process, in order that the process and results are less satisfying. This happens because the students’ ability to perform tasks that are not balanced with the guidance of learning. There are students who get high and low scores, some students even fail to achieve learning goals. This fact shows that there are still many teachers who face a number of abstacles in the learning process in the classroom. The difficulties in learning are a form of interference with basic physical and psychological factors which include language or verbal comprehension and impairment which naturally arises various imperfect abilities for listening, thinking, speaking, reading, writing or making mathematical calculations. Also includes mild motor weakness, emotional disturbaces due to unfavorable economic, Colorado or environmental conditions. Furthermore, to find out the learning difficulties experienced by public Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MIN) students, the method of teachers is used which is related to existing problems. The learning difficulties experienced by students of MIN Turikale, Maros Regency, which were the result of observation and the results of interviews with several teachers in the school were difficulties in math subject, namely counting, then difficulty understanding the questions given both written questions and the question asked directly by the teacher and the other difficulties are sometimes students are still very difficult to express their own opinions.  Keywords: Role, Teacher, Overcoming, Difficulty, Learning

The educational system across the world has immensely been affected due to outbreak of COVID-19; it forced the shut down of educational institutions, which adversely affected student fraternity across the globe. Due to its contagious nature, COVID-19 demanded containment and enforced isolation that tremendously affected personal interaction of teachers and students. In the absence of traditional classroom teaching and one-to-one interaction, computer-based learning has emerged as closest substitute for off-line teaching. Against such a backdrop, it is pertinent to examine the students’ perception and readiness about online-learning system adopted at the university level during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. For the present study, the quantitative approach has been adopted and responses from 184 university students of National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi, India namely Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University) and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University are collected through online questionnaire. This research study was conducted during June–August 2020. The findings of the study reveal students’ positive perception towards e-learning and thus acceptance of this new learning system. It has also empirically demonstrated the significance of e-learning in the time of COVID-19 crisis. In fact, e-learning has emerged as a new way of enhancing the learning process where social media may further improve the learning output. The findings of the study will facilitate educational institutions and policy makers to take this online-learning process to the next level in a better way.
