Learning legend is learning that provides knowledge to students about an event that is considered really happened in ancient times. Legend stories contain good exemplary values ​​such as religious, social, and cultural values ​​that can serve as examples to better shape student personalities. Therefore, important legend learning is taught to students at school, but the learning of the legend at SMP 2 Dawe Kudus is of less interest to the students. The problem is because of the teaching and learning activities during this run in conventional and not varied and less use of LCD facilities that have been installed in each class. In addition, the learning of the legend in SMP 2 Dawe Kudus using the material Legend Bulusan from LKS in the form of text that is less contextual. Therefore, innovation is required to develop a more creative learning media such as flash media in the form of animated films in order to increase student interest in learning. The approach used in this research was Research and Development (R&D) which conducted with five stages, including potential and problem analysis, data collection, product design, design validation, and product testing. The subjects of this research were teachers of Javanese subject, students of grade VIII SMP 2 Dawe Kudus, interpreters of legend story, material expert, media expert, and media user. Data collection used in this research is questionnaires, interview guides, tests, and observation. The data was analyzed in qualitative-descriptive. The results showed students the experimental class that performed higher learning outcomes than the control class.

AbstractTo uncover the causes that give rise to a lack of student interest in participating in language activities. To uncover strategies to increase student interest in participating in language activities in Arabic Language Study Program Faculty of Education and Teaching in IAIN Bengkul5.In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection methods for this study by observation, interviews and documents. Language activities include teaching and learning activities every Wednesday, Weekly Arabic activities, vocabulary sharing activities, lectures, dramas. Lack of a clear curriculum led to the failure to achieve the objectives of this activity, the lack of relationship between teachers and students, the relationship between students and the students because many students does not make affect other students, the lack of discipline in the MLA, no media to learn.Key Word: Enthusiasm of students; Language activity; Teaching Arabic

 This research aimed to develop scientific-based Wopipopu Book media as a means of visual learning style for students at grade IV elementary school and to know the feasibility of the Wopipopu Book  media. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Kebon Jahe, Kecamatan Serang, Serang, involving 23 students at grade IV in a limited trial. This research and development used a model modified by Sugiyono. This model consists of 6 stages namely problem analysis, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, and product trial. The instruments of this research were questionnaires for media validation by lecturers and questionnaire for students. Based on the result of data analysis, it was concluded that the quality of Wopipopu Book learning media was categorized as very feasible with a percentage of 92.8% from 2 material experts, feasible with a percentage of 75.8% from 2 linguists, and 91.5% from 2 media experts. Furthermore, the percentage of students’ response to Wopipopu Book in the trial was 84.64% with excellent category.

The main of this article to be expressed are Cultural Values and the Religiosity Behind the Skills (Kepanritaan) of Pinisi Boat Making in a very well-known community of boat makers in Ara, Bira and Tanalemo Villages, Bontobahari District, Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi. This research uses the verstehen method (Weber in Ritzer and Goodman, 2004 and Kaelan, 2005) on Pinisi Boat Making Activities and Changes from the beginning to the era of shipping modernization. The data was collected by combining comprehensive data collection techniques (observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and triangulation: Sugiyono, 2007) and analyzed using interpretive post positivistic qualitative descriptive analysis method (with systemic complementary analysis procedures: Data Collection), Grouping, Categorization, and Discarding Insignificant Data (Data Reduction), Mapping Data on Causality between Data Categorization, and Conclusion: Miles and Huberman, 1995). The results of the research show that the professionalism in making pinisi boats is built on the basis of assessment with the underlying occult values. A cultural value that tends to be ecologically oriented in the sense of keeping the relationship harmonious with the natural ruler in a magical way. These values tend to weaken amid the development of shipping modernization and the development of the boat-making industry.

The purpose of this study was to determine the principle of language politeness in the discourse of husband-wife dialogue in the village community. The sources of data in this study were the husband and wife community of the Tonronge Village, Baranti District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This type of research used qualitative descriptive research to clearly describe the form of the principle of language politeness. Data collection techniques consisted of observation, recording, tapping techniques, and documentation. The results showed that the principle of language politeness in society in the discourse of husband-wife dialogue in the community reflects the implementation of the cultural values of "siri" as a central value. The use of special vocabulary, such as taalani (please get it), ta (yours), iye (yes), ki (you) shows politeness in language.

This paper discusses service-based leadership in Islamic schools. Leadership demands a transformation from the heart and changes in character. True leadership starts from within and then moves outside to serve those they lead. This is where the importance of the character and integrity of a leader to become a true leader and accepted by other people or parties. This research is a qualitative-descriptive research which is expected to be able to uncover various information with a careful and meaningful description-analysis. Data sources in this study include principals, staff, students. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation. As for the data analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and data analysis. The results of this research are (a) the principal's leadership has a variety of models that are extraordinary depending on the situation and conditions. (b) Service-based leadership is a new trend for achieving desired quality goals.

School is one of the places that used to guide, educate, direct, and forman individual person to behave well. School also has contribution in introducing, cultivating, nurturing, and enhancing the value of disciplined to learners, including to the compliance of the school’s rules. This research used qualitative descriptive method and implemented at SMA Negeri 8 Banjarmasin. As informants in this study were the Principal, Vice Principal of Students’ Affairs, Sub Vice Principal of Students’ Affairs, counseling guidance teacher, and teachers of school subjects. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. Coaching which is conducted on students at SMAN 8 Banjarmasin looked pretty good seen from the application of discipline that uses Points System. As the result, the application of the Points System was poorly socialized to the students and their parents/guardians. The school also facilitate the students to follow the organizational activities such as OSIS (Intra-School Students Organization), as well as the activities of self-development through extracurricular activities. In addition, every teacher in the school also implemented discipline during the teaching and learning process. The Points System which has been applied by the school is very precise to construct discipline to their students.  Keywords: Coaching, Discipline

This study aims to determine the atmosphere of the academic in the midst of covid-19 pandemic at SD Negeri 169 Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU). The formulation of the problem in this study: (1) what is the academic atmosphere of SD Negeri 169 OKU in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic?, (2) what are the inhibiting factors in creating an academic atmosphere at SD Negeri 169 OKU in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic?. The type of research used is qualitative research with using qualitative descriptive analysis data. The data collection technique is done by interview, observation, documentation and triangulation. The results of the study were seen from the academic atmosphere and inhibiting factors in creating an academic atmosphere in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. In the academic atmosphere, the teaching and learning process at SD Negeri 169 OKU was running safely, orderly and conducive. The learning activity is distance and offline learning while adhering to health protocols in accordance with directions and instructions from the OKU District Education Office. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors in creating an academic atmosphere in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic are (1) teachers find it difficult to evaluate student learning outcomes, (2) internet network constraints, (3) power lines that often go out, (4) not all students have smartphones and internet pulses, and (5) some students did not collect or send assignments given by the teacher.

Abstract This study of Strategic Plan aim to a comparison of the theory of strategic planning and inpelementation conducted by IAIN Raden Intan Lampung. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation and documentation associated with the strategic plan of IAIN Raden Intan Lampung. The approach that used in this study is qualitative descriptive, while the analysis data using SWOT. The results of the analysis showed the weakness of oversight in implementation strategic planning program that be established, in addition to the frequent changes with the changing leadership to be any program of strategic planning are overlap, because didn’t continue the existing programs but only repeat or create new programs. So we can conclude the strategic plan of IAIN Raden Intan Lampung has not been effective and efficient and have not been standardized based on the theoretical studies. Abstrak Kajian penelitian Renstra ini bertujuan untuk melakukan perbandingan terhadap teori renstra dan inpelementasinya yang dilakukan oleh IAIN Raden Intan Lampung. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi yang terkait dengan renstra IAIN Raden Intan Lampung. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah diskriptif kualitatif, sedangkan analisis datanya menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa lemahnya pengawasan dalam implementasi renstra mengakibatkan lambatnya program yang ditetapkan, selain itu sering berubahnya renstra seiring bergantinya kepemimpinan mengakibatkan setiap program mengalami tumpang tindih, karena program yang dijalankan tidak melanjutkan program yang sudah ada namun mengulang atau membuat program baru. Maka dapat disimpulkan renstra IAIN Raden Intan Lampung belum efektif dan efesien dan belum memenuhi standarisasi berdasarkan landasan kajian teoritis. Kata Kunci : Renstra, SWOT

This study aimed to develop a Jumanji flashcard game media for valid and practical media. Research and development methods are used in this study. The research phase starts from potential and problem analysis, data collection phase, product design phase, design validation phase, design revision phase, trial and product revision phase. Interview sheets, questionnaires and documentation obtained research data. Data collection techniques used interview sheets, material expert validation questionnaires, media expert questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The results obtained are the feasibility of the Jumanji flashcard game based on the assessment of material experts with a percentage of 88.67%, media experts 90%, and student responses 92% in the small group trial obtained very good category. Aspects of material validation consist of accuracy, depth and completeness of the material. Aspects of media expert validation consist of function, design and quality of media. Student responses related to the practice of the Jumanji flashcard game media. The Jumanji flashcard game media developed was feasible and could be used in physics learning for junior high school students for measurement.

The purpose of the research is to improve the Students Social Skills through STAD Model, Knowing The Implementation of STAD Model on increasing the Students Social Skills, and Knowing the Response of Students towards STAD Model on learning IPS. The steps of STAD Model consist of a Class Presentation, Working Group/Team, Quiz, Individual Progress Scores and Recognition Team. This is done because of Students Social Skills are very important to develop on Teaching and Learning Process in Schools so it would be used in the future on social life of the students.The study is planned in 2 cycles which include Planning, Implementation, Observations/Data Collection and Reflection. Classroom Action Research was conducted in VIIIB Class of SMPN 1 Gunung Timang, Barito Utara Regency ofCentral Kalimantan. Data collection methods include Observation, Student Worksheet, Test, Field Notes and Documentation. Analysis Data Technique consists of Validation Data and Interpretation of Qualitative Data.The result of this research showed that based on the data observation sheet of Student Social Skill in cycle I (3,27) is good criteria and cycle II (3,36) is also of good criteria. Based on observation of Student Social Skills on cycle I, that is, cooperation includes turn-taking/sharing, respecting/honoring, assisting/helping. Self Control consists of obeying instructions and controlling emotions. Sharing ideas and experiences include expressing ideas and receivingopinions increase in cycle II. Student Response in Cycle I (91,03%) is good and on the cycle II (95%) is also good.It is concluded that the STAD model can improve the Students Social Skills, the Implementation of STAD model on Learning IPS is good and Students Response on taking part in STAD model learning is also good.Key Word : Social Skills, STAD Model and Social Studies. Tujuan penelitian adalah meningkatkan Keterampilan Sosial Siswa melalui model STAD, Mengetahui Implementasi Model STAD dalam meningkatkan Keterampilan Sosial Siswa dan Mengetahui Respon Siswa terhadap Model STAD dalam Pembelajaran IPS. Langkah-langkah Model STAD terdiri dari Presentasi Kelas, Kerja kelompok/Tim, Kuis, Skor Kemajuan Individual dan Rekognisi Tim. Hal ini dilakukan karena Keterampilan Sosial Siswa sangat perlu di bentuk dalam Proses Belajar Mengajar di Sekolah sehingga berguna kelaknya dalam kehidupan sosial siswa. Penelitian direncanakan dalam 2 siklus yaitu meliputi Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Pengamatan/Pengumpulan Data dan Refleksi. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dilaksanakan di Kelas VIIIB SMPN 1 Gunung Timang, Kabupaten Barito Utara, Kalimantan Tengah. Metode Pengumpulan Data meliputi Observasi, Lembar Kerja Siswa, Tes, Catatan Lapangan dan Dokumentasi. Teknik Analisis Data terdiri dari  Validasi dan Interpretasi data Kualitatif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan data lembar observasi Keterampilan Sosial Siswa siklus I (3,27) kriteria baik dan pada siklus II (3,36) kriteria baik. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan Keterampilan Sosial Siswa pada siklus I yaitu Kerjasama meliputi bergiliran/berbagi, menghargai/menghormati, membantu/menolong, Kontrol Diri meliputi mengikuti petunjuk dan mengontrol emosi, Berbagi Ide dan Pengalaman meliputi menyampaikan pendapat dan menerima pendapat mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II. Respon Siswa pada Siklus I (91,03 %) baik dan pada siklus II (95 %) baik. Disimpulkan bahwa model STAD dalam Pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan Keterampilan Sosial Siswa, Implementasi Model STAD dalam Pembelajaran IPS sudah baik serta Respon Siswa dalam mengikuti Pembelajaran model STAD juga sudah baik.Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Sosial, Model STAD dan IPS
