Abstract This study of Strategic Plan aim to a comparison of the theory of strategic planning and inpelementation conducted by IAIN Raden Intan Lampung. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation and documentation associated with the strategic plan of IAIN Raden Intan Lampung. The approach that used in this study is qualitative descriptive, while the analysis data using SWOT. The results of the analysis showed the weakness of oversight in implementation strategic planning program that be established, in addition to the frequent changes with the changing leadership to be any program of strategic planning are overlap, because didn’t continue the existing programs but only repeat or create new programs. So we can conclude the strategic plan of IAIN Raden Intan Lampung has not been effective and efficient and have not been standardized based on the theoretical studies. Abstrak Kajian penelitian Renstra ini bertujuan untuk melakukan perbandingan terhadap teori renstra dan inpelementasinya yang dilakukan oleh IAIN Raden Intan Lampung. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi yang terkait dengan renstra IAIN Raden Intan Lampung. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah diskriptif kualitatif, sedangkan analisis datanya menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa lemahnya pengawasan dalam implementasi renstra mengakibatkan lambatnya program yang ditetapkan, selain itu sering berubahnya renstra seiring bergantinya kepemimpinan mengakibatkan setiap program mengalami tumpang tindih, karena program yang dijalankan tidak melanjutkan program yang sudah ada namun mengulang atau membuat program baru. Maka dapat disimpulkan renstra IAIN Raden Intan Lampung belum efektif dan efesien dan belum memenuhi standarisasi berdasarkan landasan kajian teoritis. Kata Kunci : Renstra, SWOT

The databases and data collection tools are a fundamental pillar of strategic planning, especially in the higher education sector. The Islamic University has been interested in achieving ambitious strategic plans and at the same time designing databases and data collection tools to support the decision- making process. So that, this study aimed at presenting a proposed strategy for the optimal use of databases and statistical data collection tools to enhance the strategic plan of the Islamic University. The importance of this strategy is that it plays an essential role in promoting the university's current strategic plan and at the same time it will be an appropriate tool for designing the future plans of the university. The study relied on the descriptive and analytical statistical approach as a framework for the applied and field study. where we designed a strategy supportive of the strategic plan of the Islamic University, and has developed a set of hypotheses associated with the vital role of databases to promote the basic plan the strategy of the Islamic University, the feasibility of the proposed strategy and its benefit, and the extent of satisfaction of the beneficiaries of this strategy, and that exists compatibility in rai of employees of the Islamic University and the views of employers on the proposed strategic plan. The result of study appeared that the average of the opinions of university employees and employers about the proposed strategy and its benefit. The study recommended the necessity of applying the proposed strategy while expanding the integration of databases and data collection tools within the strategic planning requirements of the university and there are need to develop existing databases or create new rules to meet the strategic planning requirements.

Learning legend is learning that provides knowledge to students about an event that is considered really happened in ancient times. Legend stories contain good exemplary values ​​such as religious, social, and cultural values ​​that can serve as examples to better shape student personalities. Therefore, important legend learning is taught to students at school, but the learning of the legend at SMP 2 Dawe Kudus is of less interest to the students. The problem is because of the teaching and learning activities during this run in conventional and not varied and less use of LCD facilities that have been installed in each class. In addition, the learning of the legend in SMP 2 Dawe Kudus using the material Legend Bulusan from LKS in the form of text that is less contextual. Therefore, innovation is required to develop a more creative learning media such as flash media in the form of animated films in order to increase student interest in learning. The approach used in this research was Research and Development (R&D) which conducted with five stages, including potential and problem analysis, data collection, product design, design validation, and product testing. The subjects of this research were teachers of Javanese subject, students of grade VIII SMP 2 Dawe Kudus, interpreters of legend story, material expert, media expert, and media user. Data collection used in this research is questionnaires, interview guides, tests, and observation. The data was analyzed in qualitative-descriptive. The results showed students the experimental class that performed higher learning outcomes than the control class.

This paper discusses service-based leadership in Islamic schools. Leadership demands a transformation from the heart and changes in character. True leadership starts from within and then moves outside to serve those they lead. This is where the importance of the character and integrity of a leader to become a true leader and accepted by other people or parties. This research is a qualitative-descriptive research which is expected to be able to uncover various information with a careful and meaningful description-analysis. Data sources in this study include principals, staff, students. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation. As for the data analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and data analysis. The results of this research are (a) the principal's leadership has a variety of models that are extraordinary depending on the situation and conditions. (b) Service-based leadership is a new trend for achieving desired quality goals.

Gumineponik is one of the UMKM engaged in the hydroponic business. Besides offering hydroponic installations, hydroponic equipment, and plant nutrition, it also offers innovative processed products such as vegetable fruit juices and fruit and vegetable spring rolls. In introducing its business and products, gumineponik requires a visual identity in the form of a logo that will be implemented in promotional media. Data were collected naturally and presented in a qualitative descriptive form. Data collection was carried out using interviews and direct observation. In addition, it is supported by theoretical studies and documentation. Logo design starts from brief design, research and brainstorming, alternative designs, presentations and revisions in the process of getting the selected logo for gumineponik.  The chosen logo is a combination of the letter G and leaves as a symbol of agriculture. The selected logo is then implemented on the packaging of juice and spring roll products. In addition, it is also implemented on business cards, pricelist and x-banner media as supporting media.

Abstrack In general this study aim to determine the cooperation of parents and homeroom teacher in increasing the learning motivation of grade V students at the MI Mathlaul Anwar Talang Padang during the covid-19 pandemic. The data were analyzed by means of a qualitative descriptive analysis. Data collection using interview teachniques, observation and documentasi. This research is to see the problems that occur in these madrasas. This is beause there is still a lack of cooperation between parents and homeroom teachers in increasing student motivation. Students are still less active in learning in lack of student motivation in the learning process so that student learning is still low. Keywords: Collbaration, Motivation

This paper examines metaphorical figurative language in Arabic poetry books. The data used is taken from the Diwan Imam Syafi'iy book. The book contains one hundred and thirty poems. Most of them portray moral issues, advice and reflection on the community situation at that time. The poems also use a lot of figurative language, one of them is metaphor. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that includes three stages, that are data collection, data analysis, and presentation of the results of data analysis. Data collection is conducted by recording the metaphors contained in the book of Diwan Imam Syafi’iy. Analyzing the data is conducted by classifying the type of metaphor, and presenting the data is conducted by writing metaphorical findings into the paper. The research technique is performed by describing three elements forming metaphor according to Taylor, as tenor, vehicle, and ground. The meaning field refers to a comparison as a  figurative, while comparability is the object described. Comparators are classified into nine types of comparison by Haley. Based on a review of the book Diwan Imam Syafi`i, seven types of metaphor comparison are found, as being, cosmos, energy, terrestrial, object, living, and animate.Tulisan ini mengkaji gaya bahasa kiasan metafora dalam buku syair berbahasa Arab. Data yang digunakan diambil dari buku syair Diwan Imam Syafi`iy. Buku itu memuat seratus tiga puluh syair yang sebagian besar memotret soal moral dan nasihat serta refleksi dari keadaan masyarakat pada saat itu. Di dalam syair-syair tersebut banyak digunakan bahasa kiasan, metafora salah satunya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang mencakup tiga tahapan, yaitu pengumpulan data, penganalisisan data, dan presentasi hasil analisis data. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mencatat metafora yang terkandung dalam buku syair Diwan Imam Syafi`iy. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengklasifikasikan jenis metafora dan mempresentasikan temuan-temuan metafora ke dalam makalah. Teknik penelitian dilakukan dengan menguraikan tiga elemen pembentuk metafora menurut Taylor, yaitu pebanding, pembanding, dan persamaan keduanya. Medan makna mengacu pada pembanding yang menjadi kiasan, sedangkan pebanding adalah objek yang dideskripsikan. Pembanding diklasifikasi berdasarkan sembilan jenis pembanding Haley. Berdasarkan tinjauan terhadap buku syair Diwan Imam Syafi`iy, ditemukan tujuh jenis pembanding metafora, yaitu being, cosmos, energy, terrestrial, object, living, dan animate.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Langkah-langkah menanamkan nilai pendidikan karakter terhadap peserta didik; 2) Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dalam etika wirausaha (praktik kewirausahaan).  Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif. Subjek Penelitian ini adalahkepala sekolah, Guru dan Peserta didik.Adapun prosedur penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Melakukan studi pendahuluan ke lokasi penelitian yaitu SMA Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya; (2) Menyusun instrumen penelitian; (3) Merancang prosedur pengambilan data;  (4) Pelaksanaan; dan 5) Analisis data. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui  wawancara tidak terstuktur, angket dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data (display data), verifikasi dan  simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1)  Langkah-langkah menanamkan nilai pendidikan karakter pada peserta didik terdiri dari beberapa tahapan; mulai dari perencanaan guru menyusun Rencana pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang menarik dengan meintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakterdan evaluasi pembelajaran untuk mengukur dan melihat sejauhmana pendidikan karakter tersebut diterapkan dalam etika wirausaha; 2) Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dalam etika wirausaha di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangkarayadengan menanamkan karakter disiplin, jujur, kreativitas, ulet, dan komunikatif secara umum dengan kategori baik, yang ditunjukkan: (a) Kegiatan praktikpenjualan langsung dengan kategori cukup baik; (b) Kegiatan praktik kewirausaan kelompok dengan kategori baik; (c) Penggunaan poster untuk meningkatkan gairah berwirausaha dengan kategori baik; (d) Pemberian reward bagi peserta didik maupun guru mendapatkan respon positif.___________________________________________________________________ This study aims to determine the: 1) Steps to instill the value of character education in students and to find out how to; 2) Implement character education in entrepreneurial ethics (entrepreneurial practice). This research was conducted using qualitative methods. The subjects of this study were teachers and students. The procedures for this research are: (1) Conducting a preliminary study to the research location, namely SMA Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya; (2) Develop research instruments; (3) Design data collection procedures; 4) Implementation; and (5) Analysis data collection techniques through unstructured interviews, observation, questionnaires and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative descriptive through data reduction, data presentation (data display), verification and conclusions. The results showed that: 1) The steps to instill the value of character education in students consisted of several stages; starting from teacher planning in compiling entrepreneurial learning plans, implementing interesting learning by integrating character values, as well as conducting and evaluating to measure and see to what extent character education is well implemented by students; 2) Implementation of character education in entrepreneurial ethics at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangkaraya by instilling disciplined, honest, creative, tenacious, and communicative characters. The results of the implementation of character education: (a) Direct selling practice activities in a fairly good category; (b) Entrepreneurship practice activities with good categories; (c) The use of posters to increase entrepreneurial enthusiasm with good categories; (d) Giving rewards to students and teachers getting a positive response.

This study was to know the effect of zoom app towards students' interest in learning. The population used in this study were 496 students majoring in Islamic Religious Education of STAIN Mandailing Natal. There were 38 students of the Department of Islamic Education to be sampled in this study. Data collection techniques that researchers use include questionnaires, pretest, posttest, and interviews The analysis data used the SPSS 16 program to determine the data tabulation and qualitative descriptive. The result of this study shown that there is an increased students' interest in learning by using zoom app as a learning modality during a pandemic. The use of it is proven to have a significant effect on students' enthusiasm for learning so that there is an increasing in students' interest in learning.

Abstract Rapid urbanization requires health promotion practitioners to understand and engage with strategic city planning. This policy analysis research investigated how and why health was taken up into strategic land use planning in Sydney, Australia, between 2013 and 2018. This qualitative study develops two case studies of consecutive instances of strategic planning in Sydney. Data collection was done via in-depth stakeholder interviews (n = 11) and documentary analysis. Data collection and analysis revolved around core categories underpinning policy institutions (actors, structures, ideas, governance and power) to develop an explanatory narrative of the progress of ‘health’ in policy discourse over the study period. The two strategic planning efforts shifted in policy discourse. In the earlier plan, ‘healthy built environments’ was positioned as a strategic direction, but without a mandate for action the emphasis was lost in an economic growth agenda. The second effort shifted that agenda to ecological sustainability, a core aspect of which was ‘Liveability’, having greater potential for health promotion. However, ‘health’ remained underdeveloped as a core driver for city planning remaining without an institutional mandate. Instead, infrastructure coordination was the defining strategic city problem and this paradigm defaulted to emphasizing ‘health precincts’ rather than positioning health as core for the city. This research demonstrates the utility in institutional analysis to understanding positioning health promotion in city planning. Despite potential shifts in policy discourse and a more sophisticated approach to planning holistically, the challenge remains of embedding health within the institutional mandates driving city planning.

This study aims to determine the Young Asahan PKS movement in fostering Millennial political participation. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach in data collection and analysis. Data collection techniques using a series of methods as interviews, observation, and documentation. This data is processed through data reduction and then organized through data displays that are displayed in tabular form and then drawn conclusions. The results of this study indicate that PKS Muda Asahan plays an active role in fostering millennial political participation in the 2019 PILPRES in Kota Kisaran Timur District. The role can be seen from the programs established to influence millennials to actively participate in voting, monitoring, campaigning, joining interest groups, and communicating with public officials. Some programs that have been formed to attract millennial interest are considered through the 4 millennial generation development segments; (1) Pariotics; (2) Buddy; (3) Fighter; and (4) Star. However, PKS Muda Asahan has not succeeded in forming political discussion on the external sphere. This obstacle occurs due to the stigma of the general public about the proximity of the Young Asahan PKS to the PKS party.
