This study aims to describe managerial supervision in improving education administration services at SMAN 1 Jonggat, Central Lombok Regency. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were the principal, vice principal of the curriculum section, vice principal of the public relations section, and the head of administration. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed by presenting data, reducing data and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, to obtain the validity of the data using source triangulation, technical triangulation, and time triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of managerial supervision at SMAN 1 Jonggat carried out by the principal and the head of administration in improving educational administration services includes program planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. The managerial supervision carried out has been carried out optimally so that it can improve administrative services and improve the quality of education in schools.

This article contributes to the growing discussion of the ways that Khenpo Jigme Phuntsok’s legacy has been carried forward by his spiritual successors at the Larung Five Sciences Buddhist Academy (or Larung Gar), in contemporary Eastern Tibet, by focusing on the contribution of the Larung vice principal and leading second-generation luminary, Khenpo Tsultrim Lodro (1962–). Drawing on a range of Khenpo Tsultrim Lodro’s spoken teachings and writings over a twenty-year period, this article undertakes a contextualised analysis of how he has shouldered his guru’s legacy in the areas of Tibetan Buddhist monastic education, monastic governance, and monastic–lay relations. It explores how the threefold framework of thos-bsam-sgom (listening, reflecting, meditating), whether in its parts or its entirety, lies at the centre of his reformist discourse in these matters, articulated in relation to a wide range of Buddhist and secular concepts, as well as to concrete institutions and organisational structures. It is argued that, while Khenpo Tsultrim Lodro expounds the entire framework of thos-bsam-sgom throughout the years in question, in ‘the earlier period’ (c.2000–2012), from shortly before his guru’s death until approximately a decade afterwards, he subtly privileges the intellectual attributes associated with thos-bsam, while in ‘the later period’ (c.2013–2021) he reweights his exposition to give a balanced emphasis to the practice of sgom.

<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> The writing of this article aims to analyze and describe of process student management of university’s senior high school.  Method in this research is descriptive qualitative, the technique of collecting data through interview, observation, and documentation, and were data analysed by interactive model, trouhg reduction, display, and conclution. Subjects as data resource in this research were researcher, principal, and vice principal of student. Finding of this research indicates the student management process held by cooperation between school and university in auditing in every functions of student management.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Penulisan artikel ini bermaksud untuk menganalisa dan mendeskripsikan proses manajemen peserta didik di SMA binaan universitas. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, selanjutnya dianalisis dengan model interaktif melalui reduksi, penyampaian, dan konklusi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti, kepala sekolah, wakil kepala kesiswaan, dan tenaga pendidik. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa proses manajemen peserta didik dilaksanakan melibatkan kerjasama dengan universitas dalam pegauditan setiap fungsi dalam manajemen peserta didik.

AbstractThis study aims to reveal Principal Managerial in increasing Teacher Work Productivity at State Senior High School 1 Rasau Jaya which includes: planning, organizing, motivating, and rewarding. The study used a descriptive approach. The research subjects were the Principal, Vice Principal of Curriculum, Vice Principal of Student Affairs, Head of Libraries, and Teachers. All subjects are teachers who teach at State Senior High School 1 Rasau Jaya. Data collection methods used interviews, documentation, and observation. The data analysis model uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Test the validity of the data using trials and triangulation. The results of the study show the following: 1) Planning can be done through identifying what will be programmed, how it will be programmed, who will be involved, when it will be implemented, and how it will be implemented. The product of the planning is in the form of a School Activity Plan 2) This organization is carried out by division, principal and function equipped with an explanation of the duties of each teacher, 3) Motivating is carried out verbally and non-verbally continuously with Target and self-evaluation techniques Progress, Expectation of results, and Social comparisons and 4) Rewards are carried out with techniques that maintain a conducive working atmosphere. Keywords: Leadership, Managerial, Work Productivity

In Le Roux v Dey a vice-principal at a well-known secondary school in Pretoria instituted two separate claims for sentimental damages under the actio iniuriarum for insult (infringement of dignity) and defamation (infringement of reputation) against three school learners. The defendants published manipulated pictures of the plaintiff and the principal of the school depicting them both naked and sitting alongside each other with their hands indicative of sexual activity or stimulation. The school crests were superimposed over their genital areas. The plaintiff succeeded with both claims in the High Court (Dey v Le Roux 2008-10-28 case no 21377/06 (GNP)) butthe Supreme Court of Appeal (Le Roux v Dey 2010 4 SA 210 (SCA)) held that the separate claim for insult was ill-founded because in assessing damages for defamation, the court should also take the plaintiff’s humiliation into account. The Supreme Court of Appeal nevertheless confirmed the trial court’s award of R45 000. The defendants appealed to the Constitutional Court.

This study is entitled “Evaluating Certified Indonesian EFL Teachers’ Performance: A Case Study in a High School in Aceh”. The objective of this study is to identify to what extent Indonesia’s teacher certification program affects English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers’ instructional performance. The data were collected through in-depth interview and observations in a prominent state senior high school in Aceh Besar, Aceh, involving three certificated EFL teachers, fifteen EFL learners and the vice principal of curriculum affairs as participants. The data were subsequently analyzed by thematic analysis with the results distributed into separate themes. The results showed that even though all the teachers were knowledgably well-versed in their ability to devise well-elaborated lesson plans, two of them still exhibited a relatively strict adherence to the whole-class and teacher-centered instructions, with limited use of medias and varied learning sources, causing concern for both EFL learners and the school’s vice principal of curriculum affairs.

This research was conducted in basic school sources Sumber Jaya 01 South Tambun aims to identify and describe the principal leadership in improving the performance of teachers in basic school sources Sumber Jaya 01 south Tambun. The method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The researcher entered a place of research and observing and searching data and information in accordance with the existing school research focus. Data collection was done with interview techniques, observation, and study documentation. As for the interview respondents in this research is the principal, vice-principal areas of curriculum, the vice principal field of the student and teacher. The results of this research indicate that the school principals have to perform their role as a leader, which will be presented as follows: 1) in doing coaching principal of basic school sources Sumber Jaya 01 South Tambun give examples of discipline in daily attitudes such as discipline time, always neatly dressed, prioritize cleanliness, appearance, and environment, so that it becomes an exemplary role model for teachers. 2) Principal of basic school sources Sumber Jaya 01 South Tambun provides work motivation in the form of awards to outstanding teachers, like praise, advice, and provision of incentives. 3) In supervising principal of basic school sources Sumber Jaya 01 South Tambun visits. 4) Constraints faced by teachers in the use of instructional media including, besides private schools are also faced with students whose learning ability is less such as reading, writing and arithmetic then the teacher strives to make students to be excited in learning in order to compete with public schools. In connection with the constraints faced by the teacher, then every weekend held work meetings. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Sumber Jaya 01 Tambun Selatan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menggambarkan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SDN Sumber Jaya 01. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Peneliti memasuki tempat penelitian dan mengamati serta mencari data dan informasi yang ada disekolah sesuai dengan focus penelitian. Pengumpulan  data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Adapun yang menjadi responden wawancara dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan dan guru-guru. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah secara umum telah menjalankan perannya sebagai pemimpin, yang akan dipaparkan sebagai berikut : 1) Dalam melakukan pembinaan kepala sekolah SDN Sumber Jaya 01 memberikan contoh disiplin dalam sikap keseharian seperti disiplin waktu, berpakaian selalu rapi, dan mengutamakan kebersihan, penampilan maupun lingkungan. Sehingga keteladan ini menjadi panutan bagi para guru. 2) Kepala sekolah SDN Sumber Jaya 01 memberikan motivasi kerja dalam bentuk pemberian insentif. 3) Dalam melakukan pengawasan kepala sekolah SDN Sumber Jaya 01 sangat memperhatikan administrasi guru, salah satu bentuk yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan kunjungan kelas. 4) Kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru diantaranya dalam pengunaan media pembelajaran, selain itu sekolah negeri juga dihadapkan dengan siswa-siswa yang kemampuan belajarnya kurang seperti membaca, menulis dan berhitung maka guru berupaya membuat siswa-siswa untuk bersemangat dalam belajar agar bisa bersaing dengan sekolah lainnya. Sehubungan dengan kendala-kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru, maka setiap akhir pekan dan semester selalu diadakan rapat kerja.

Abstract: The purpose of writing a paper is to explain how swamp children can achieve achievement in limited infrastructure through their talents and interests, explain the definition of achievement, understanding of talents, factors that influence talent, interests, factors that influence interest. The sampling technique was carried out directly with the instrument to students who won 1,2 and 3 championships through interviews and literature studies. The results of the study and data obtained from the vice principal for student affairs concluded that the achievements of swamp children at SMAN 1 Danau Panggang were obtained because of a strong interest and supported by the talents possessed by each individual to participate in competitions or competitions. Achievement is the result of an activity that has been done, created, either individually or in groups. Talent is a number of characters, conditions or qualities that a person has from birth (innate) in the form of potential (potential ability) that will affect a person's chances of success in a certain field of work. Interest is a source of motivation that encourages people to do what they want if they are free to choose. Besides, support from teachers and parents is also a big part of achieving the achievements they expect. Abstrak: Tujuan penulisan makalah adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana anak rawa dapat meraih prestasi dalam keterbatasan  sarana prasarana  melalui bakat dan minat  yang dimiliki mereka, menjelaskan pengertian prestasi, pengertian bakat, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi bakat, minat, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara langsung dengan instrumen terhadap siswa-siswa yang meraih prestasi juara 1,2 dan 3 melalui interview dan Studi literatur. Hasil studi dan data-data yang diperoleh dari wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan menyimpulkan bahwa prestasi-prestasi Anak Rawa pada SMAN 1 Danau Panggang diperoleh karena adanya minat yang kuat dan didukung oleh adanya bakat yang dimiliki setiap individu  untuk mengikuti perlombaan atau pertandingan. Prestasi adalah hasil dari suatu kegiatan yang telah dikerjakan, diciptakan, baik secara individual maupun kelompok. Bakat adalah sejumlah karakter, kondisi atau kualitas yang dimiliki seseorang sejak lahir (bawaan) yang berupa potensi (potential ability) yang akan berpengaruh terhadap kemungkinan keberhasilan seseorang dalam suatu bidang pekerjaan. Minat merupakan sumber motivasi yang mendorong orang untuk melakukan apa yang mereka inginkan bila mereka bebas memilih.. Disamping itu, dukungan dari guru dan orang tua juga merupakan andil besar dalam meraih prestasi yang mereka harapkan
