Used Motor Oils Recycling (UMOR) can be fulfilled in different ways depending on the quality and quantity of the fresh oil and the quality of the collected UMO. The Acidic Sludge (AS) is a byproduct of UMOR with hazardous effects and impacts on the environment. It yields 0.15 of each barrel (220 liters) of UMOR operation. The valid and relevant databases were used to discover the latest reports in managing the AS of UMOR operation. The findings of the current review were oriented towards the physical-chemical backbone of AS and its industrial exploitation. The chemical structure of AS was highlighted by a glance view in the recent reports. To sum up, it was recommended to utilize this valuable byproduct in many industrial applications as an additive.

The article presents, developed operating modes and substantiates the parameters of a device that cleans motor oils from oxidation products and the resulting analytical relationships representing the movement of a mixture of acetone and used motor oil in viscosity states and the process of evaporation of the solvent from the oil during processing. It also substantiates the speed of movement of motor oil on a coneshaped surface based on its effect on refining and substantiates the dependence of the quality of refined oil on the temperature indicator of the mixture and the availability of the evaporation process and it was also found that motor oils are intensively contaminated with oxidation products during processing, thereby accelerating the friction process. During agricultural work, tractor engines due to congestion and oxidation of carbon, the content of carbine, carbide and asphalt products increases by 1.2%. Oxidizing products accelerate the deterioration of the quality of oils, which leads to an increase in the power consumption of the engine KShM and CPG by 15%. In addition, analytical relationships were obtained representing the movement of a mixture of acetone and used motor oil in viscosity states and the process of evaporation of the solvent from the oil during processing. The speed of motor oil on a cone-shaped surface is substantiated based on its effect on refining, and the dependence of the quality of refined oil on the temperature of the mixture and the availability of the evaporation process is justified

While the use of vinegar to fi ght against infections and other crucial conditions dates back to Hippocrates, recent research has found that vinegar consumption has a positive effect on biomarkers for diabetes, cancer, and heart diseases. Different types of vinegar have been used in the world during different time periods. Vinegar is produced by a fermentation process. Foods with a high content of carbohydrates are a good source of vinegar. Review of the results of different studies performed on vinegar components reveals that the daily use of these components has a healthy impact on the physiological and chemical structure of the human body. During the era of Hippocrates, people used vinegar as a medicine to treat wounds, which means that vinegar is one of the ancient foods used as folk medicine. The purpose of the current review paper is to provide a detailed summary of the outcome of previous studies emphasizing the role of vinegar in treatment of different diseases both in acute and chronic conditions, its in vivo mechanism and the active role of different bacteria.

A quality drug is central to the success of any therapeutic plan. The quality of drug is determined right from the collection to delivery to the patients. The commonest problem involving the medicinal plant stating materials is intentional or unintentional substitution and adulteration owing to multiple reasons like unavailability, higher costs, unfair trade etc. This trend was also present in the olden days, as evident from the concept of substitute drugs (Pratinidhi Dravya) as available in Yogratanakara, Bhavaprakasha and Bhaishajyaratnawali. Therefore, Charka and later Acharyas also have dealt with authentication and standardization of herbal drugs and formulations in detail by using four Pramanas (tools of knowledge) Ch.Vi.8/87. Nowadays the concept of substitution is entirely converted into intentional and unintentional malpractices of adulteration. The established authenticity parameters for plant material identification and standardization like organoleptic, physical, chemical and genetic parameters are relatively inaccessible for routine use. Not withstanding the accuracy and usefulness of these lab parameters and delay in the development of easy to perform parameters for reasonable drug authentication. These adulteration malpractices spoils the market of herbal industries. In this article we discuss about concept of substitution in ancient Ayurveda and at present intentional and unintentional adulteration practices.

AbstractIt is well known that the surface topography of a part can affect its mechanical performance, which is typical in additive manufacturing. In this context, we report about the surface modification of additive manufactured components made of Titanium 64 (Ti64) and Scalmalloy®, using a pulsed laser, with the aim of reducing their surface roughness. In our experiments, a nanosecond-pulsed infrared laser source with variable pulse durations between 8 and 200 ns was applied. The impact of varying a large number of parameters on the surface quality of the smoothed areas was investigated. The results demonstrated a reduction of surface roughness Sa by more than 80% for Titanium 64 and by 65% for Scalmalloy® samples. This allows to extend the applicability of additive manufactured components beyond the current state of the art and break new ground for the application in various industrial applications such as in aerospace.

This review illustrates various types of polymer and nanocomposite polymeric based sensors used in a wide variety of devices. Moreover, it provides an overview of the trends and challenges in sensor research. As fundamental components of new devices, polymers play an important role in sensing applications. Indeed, polymers offer many advantages for sensor technologies: their manufacturing methods are pretty simple, they are relatively low-cost materials, and they can be functionalized and placed on different substrates. Polymers can participate in sensing mechanisms or act as supports for the sensing units. Another good quality of polymer-based materials is that their chemical structure can be modified to enhance their reactivity, biocompatibility, resistance to degradation, and flexibility.
