 The ability to think creatively is a characteristic of 21st century learning. It takes learning innovation to accommodate increased creative thinking in learning materials. One alternative learning model that is thought to improve creative thinking is the Generative Multi-Representation Learning (GMRL) model. This study aims to analyze the effect of the GMRL model on mathematical creative thinking skills. The research was conducted in class X IPA at a public high school in Tangerang Regency. The method used was a quasi-experimental design with a post-test only randomize control group. The research sample was 66 students, 33 as the experimental group and 33 as the control group. Determination of the sample using cluster random sampling technique. Data collection on mathematical creative thinking skills using test instruments. In general, the research findings reveal that students' mathematical creative thinking skills taught using the GMRL model are higher than the conventional model. These skills include fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration. The fluency indicator is more dominant than the other three indicators. The conclusion of this study is that the GMRL model is more effective in increasing mathematical creative thinking skills than the conventional model.

<p>The purpose of this study is to obtain a profile of students’ creative thinking skills on quantitative project-based protein testing using local materials. Implementation of the research is using quasi-experimental method pre-test post-test control group design with 40 students involved in Biochemistry lab. The research instrument is pre-test and post-test using creative thinking skills in the form of description and students’ questionnaire. The analysis was performed with SPSS 22.0 program to see the significance normality, U Mann-Whitney test for nonparametric statistics, N-Gain score, and the percentage of student responses to the practicum performed. The research result shows that the pretest rate in the experimental group is 8.25 while in the control group is 6.90. After attending a project-based practicum with local materials, the experimental group obtained the mean of posttest is 37.55 while in control class is 11.18. The students’ improvement on creative thinking skills can be seen from the average of N-Gain in the experimental class with 0.32 (medium category) and in the control category with 0.05 (low category). The experimental and control class have different creative thinking skills significantly different fluency, flexibility, novelty, and detail. It can be concluded that quantitative project-based protein testing using local materials can improve students’ creative thinking skills. 71% of total students feel that quantitative project-based protein testing using local materials make them more creative in doing a practicum in the laboratory.</p>

The ability to think critically and creatively is needed in solving math problems. Secondary school students in Indonesia still possess these two abilities according to the results of PISA research. Therefore, learning studies that influence these two abilities are still feasible to do. This study aims to examine the effect of MEA learning with contextual worksheets on the ability to think critically and creatively in solving math problems. The study was a quasi-experimental study using a post-test only control group design. The research population consisted of 137 class X students of SMK Kharisma Mengwi, Badung Regency, Bali for the 2019/2020 school year, which was spread into five classes with equivalent math abilities. A random sampling technique determined a sample of 2 classes. Data on the ability to think critically and creatively in solving mathematical problems were collected using a test in the form of a description. Data were analyzed using the MANOVA test. The results of the analysis show that MEA learning with contextual worksheets has a positive effect on the ability to think critically and creatively in solving math problems (F = 90.018; p &lt;0.05).

Indonesian students' creative thinking skill is still at a low level. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of project collaborative model assisted by Google Classroom (PjCM-GC) in improving students' creative thinking skills. This research explored the differences between students who learned through the demonstration model (DM), project collaborative model (PjCM), and project collaborative model assisted by Google Classroom (PjCM-GC). It was a quasi-experimental with pre and post-test design. The population of this research was students at Senior High School, Lombok Timur-Indonesia. Random sampling technique was employed in this study. The sample was 86 science students grade XI (15-16 ages) who studied in SMAN 1 Aikmel. The data analyzed by paired-sample t-test, comparative-descriptive analysis, and ANOVA mixed design using SPSS 24. The study showed that The PjCM-GC group had a significant difference in the level of creative thinking skills (sig .0000). The PjCM-GC was the most effective model to improve the skills with a gain score of .47 (medium). Learning with the PjCM-GC model can be an alternative for policymakers and teachers to solve the problems of creative thinking.

This study aims to determine the effect of practical learning on the creative thinking skills of class XI students on acid-base material at SMAN 7 Palu. This type of research was a quasi-experimental research with equivalent control group design. Sampling in this study was a purposive random sampling technique. The sample consisted of two classes students in XI MIA 2 as the experimental class (n = 24) and students in class XI MIA 4 as the control class (n = 24). Data from students' creative thinking using the one-party hypothesis testing, the right side were in this study used the statistics application and obtained sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 data based on this decision, the hypothesis is accepted if the sig (2-tailed) value is smaller than 0.05 so that it can be concluded that there is a positive effect using practical learning on the creative thinking ability of class XI students on acid-base material at SMAN 7 Palu.

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing PBL integrated with STEM in the materials of temperature and its changes in creative thinking skills and learning outcomes. The research method was a quasi-experimental research design with non-equivalent pretest and posttest control group. Samples were selected by purposive sampling technique. Data collection instruments were creative thinking skills and knowledge tests. The analysis technique was a different test (t-test) to determine differences in the ability to think creatively and learning outcomes aspects of knowledge, and the N-gain test to determine the effectiveness of the learning method applied. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there were differences in learning outcomes and creative thinking abilities between the control and the experimental classes (2) the effectiveness test identified that the science learning using PBL integrated with STEM is quite effective in increasing the ability to think creatively.

Learning skill was a system, method and technique of a knowledge acquired by the students and taught by the teacher briefly, effectively and efficiently. Layanan penguasaan konten was one of services in guidance and counseling activity which was indisputably effective to improve the students’ learning skill at school. This was a quasi experimental research which applied Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. By using purposive sampling technique, the first year students of SMAN 1 Bonjol were chosen as the subject of the research. These students then were divided into experimental group and control group. Each group consisted of 30 students. The research findings indicated that in general, the layanan penguasaan konten was effective to improve the students’ learning skill. Specifically, (1) there was a difference between the learning skill of the students in the experimental group in pretest and posttest, (2) there was a difference between   the learning skill of the students in the control group in pretest and posttest, and (3) there was a difference between   the learning skill of the students in the control group and in the control group in posttest. Based on the research findings above, it was concluded that the students’ learning skill could be improved through layanan penguasan konten. This research had shown that to improve the students’ learning skill, it was important to conduct layanan penguasaan konten at school by the school counselor. For the upcoming researchers, it is possible to conduct similar researches with different contexts, and the results could be compared.

This research aimed to investigating the effect of teaching science based on the Enrichment model in the development of creative thinking skills among talented students at the intermediate school. The research sample consisted of (32) students of the first year of the academic semester 1435/1436 a rate of 4 servings per week students, the current research has been used a quasi-experimental design ( Pre - Test, Post - Test, Control Group Design). To measure the pre and post-performance for the sample was used Torrence measure to creative thinking skills the formalism picture. then collected the data to measure pre and posttest, were compiled and conducted by statistical analyzes using the (independent-samples T test) to detect the significance of differences between the posteriori averages to research sample students degrees in Torrence measure to creative thinking skills, research reached the following results: There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the average of research sample degrees students in the pre application and averages of her degrees in the post application to Torrence measure of creative thinking and in each individual skill for the benefit of the post application.

This research investigated the effect of brainstorming on students’ creative thinking skills in learning nutrition. The method that was used in this research is quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest design. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique where one group was assigned to the experimental group (n=25 students) and the other one group was assigned to the control group (n=25 students). The population was 7th-grade students in Islamic International School in Bandung. The quantitative data in this research was obtained from objective test and verbal TTCT (Torrance Test of Creative Thinking), while the qualitative data was obtained from observation sheet. The findings of the study showed that there are statistically significant differences between experimental and control group in creative thinking skills test with the score of 0.000. The result is in the favor of the experimental group, indicating the effectiveness of brainstorming in developing students’ creative thinking skills in learning nutrition.

The main goal of this study is to present the effectiveness improvement of student’s creative thinking skills using CBL implemented in STEM education and CBL combined with worksheet PSL. The STEM education perspective used in this study is a separate science discipline (Physics) that incorporates other disciplines. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental research design. The research includes a pre-test-post test control group design. The subjects of the research consist of forty-five students in 10th grade of one of the vocational schools. The instrument used in this study is an essay test consisting of four questions with indicators of fluency, flexibility, and originality. The enhancement of students’ creative thinking skills is known by analyzing normalized gain (g) on the experimental group and control group. A non-parametric test and Cohen’s Kappa test were used to examine differences improvement of student’s creative thinking skills with the IBM Statistics SPSS 20.00 program at .05 significant levels. As a result of the research, it was found that CBL implemented in STEM education has a higher improvement for students of creative thinking skills than CBL combined with worksheet PSL. CBL implemented in STEM education also has a major impact on improvement of students’ creative thinking skills.

The main objective of the present study is to investigate the effect of implementing innovative learning approaches upon English students’ achievement. The study was quasi experimental study using the post-test only control group design involving 35 students altogether selected using census sampling technique. The instrument which is used to gather data in the study was test. There were two tests used to gather intended data. They were linguistic test and student achievement test. The obtained data were analyzed statistically using descriptive and inferential analysis. The analysis of covariance was conducted to test the hypotheses.
