1. The out-patient clinic is the most valuable place for the physician to learn how comprehensive pediatrics can be mastered in his every-day office and home-visit practice. It is also the logical place to teach the relationship of community resources to pediatric practice. 2. Comprehensive medical care of the child is defined as the prevention and treatment of physical disease, and the supervision of healthy growth and development, physical and psychological. Through his comprehension of physical, psychological and social forces that influence the child, the pediatrician enables the child and his family to take an active role in solving their health problem. 3. The interview should serve as a basic instrument of diagnosis and treatment. It should be flexible, and enable the patient to express fears, anticipations and questions about his symptoms. It should be practical in length of time and sequence, depending on the patient's symptoms and his reactions to being examined by the doctor. 4. The attitudes necessary for the practice of pediatrics are best acquired by the student through the demonstrations of his teachers and through his professional identification with them. 5. When pediatric teaching is focussed on the patient as a person, a student learns that: a) Every patient is an interesting person. It can be as satisfying and important to care for a six-week-old infant who is well or a child who is going to camp, as one who suffers from a rare disease. b) There is no such thing as a non-contributory family history. It is necessary to know the meaning that complaints or questions have for the mother and the child. This can only be obtained through the physician's expressed interest in both, and in his patient attitude and willingness to listen to what both have to tell him. c) The physician is faced with a patient (child) who is extremely dependent on parents or parental figures. The parents and child form a unit. It is the pediatrician's goal to help improve the health of the child by understanding the child's position in the unit. He should utilize the assets of this unit for the child and parents. d) His interest in and acceptance of the patient results in more effective diagnosis and treatment. This attitude develops gradually when adequate supervision is available.

Celebrations of the career of Willard Hurst tend to concentrate, quite understandably, on his scholarship in legal history. Most of those who now read and comment on his works are professional legal historians, and they tend to read and define Hurst according to that professional identification. This article takes a different approach, concentrating on Hurst's own role in the more general politics of legal scholarship. Hurst was not content with making a mark in legal history. He sought to challenge the legal establishment. We see the legacy of his efforts in the development of the field of law and social science, institutionalized in the mid 1960s in the Law and Society Association (LSA). Therefore, my focus is on the sociology and politics of scholarship rather than on intellectual history. I will not examine the relationship of Hurst's particular works to those who came before or after him, nor will I go through the exercise of suggesting what was good or lasting or useful about his work for present purposes.

This study aims to examine more deeply the relationship between sustainable development and community based tourism. This study uses a systematic literature review method, articles taken from the publications of various publishers using the SCOPUS database and given restrictions on the year of publication from 2019 to 2021. The results of this study indicate that CBT is one of the most important approaches in realizing sustainable development. CBT has a very close relationship with sustainable development, where CBT is considered a very effective strategy for realizing sustainable development, because CBT focuses on local communities where local people play an active role as the owner of the resource as well as the main actor in the development of their natural resources. . So in this CBT concept, the community is empowered to develop their skills, culture, and natural potential without destroying it at all, because one of the indicators of the success of sustainable development is environmental preservation. The limitation in this study is that the researcher only focuses on the relationship between sustainable development and CBT and has not discussed the relationship between sustainable development and other indicators and in this study the researcher only used a limited number of previous studies, namely only 266 articles. So that the suggestion for future researchers who are interested in researching sustainable development is to study the relationship of sustainable development with other indicators and to use more previous research so that it can be generalized in a broader discussion.

Lifelong learning is often associated with the sociology and the economics of education. However, its broader and more holistic context, which includes learning through involvement in cultural activities, tourism, leisure, and recreation, is much less known. The relationship of this term to the rapidly changing world of Information and Communication Technologies and to various conceptions of interaction is also worthy of further investigation. This article seeks to shed light on that theme by presenting a novel IT platform involving mobile technologies that can enhance access and consumption of cultural heritage community resources. Drawing on material from the ISAAC European project, the article demonstrates how lifelong m-learning can be supported by an integrated e-destination platform that enables the user to build content and engage with that through a variety of applications over time. It concludes with a demonstrator system for the city of Genoa, Italy, to highlight the pathways to change.

The theory of the five elements is widely used in traditional Chinese medicine, and the division of natural phenomena according to the properties of the five elements and the nature of the relationship between them, is practical in clinical acupuncture: to characterize the structural, physiological and pathological features of the patient, diagnosis and treatment. With the development of diseases there is a pathological relationship between Zhang-Fu organs and tissues that they are subordinated to. The human body is an organic whole, in which there are numerous interconnections in the development of the pathological process due to the existing modified interconnections. It is established that the theory of five elements is a simple theory with certain limitations. The laws of the relationship between the elements of the U-Syin cycle are not a reflection of all possible interconnections between the Zhang-Fu organs and the related tissues. In clinical practice, these laws show objective physiological and pathological communications between the internal organs and can be used in the process of acupuncture diagnosis and treatment. The theory of the five elements lies at the heart of the methodology of traditional acupuncture diagnostics, used during its implementation and data analysis, it determines the pathological states in accordance with the characteristics and laws of the relationship of the five elements and formulates the syndromic diagnosis of traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

This entry provides an overview of the nature of transdisciplinary and translational priorities in the context of changing forms of research and assessments of the relationship of research to societal impact. It first describes shifts away from single disciplinary to more integrative disciplinary approaches to science and discusses emerging forms of integrative research, distinguishing and illustrating multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary approaches. It then turns to describing the social forces behind the acceleration of science into service, illustrating what are referred to as translational gaps and efforts to bridge them. Within social work, methods attentive to adaptation for diverse settings, organizational dissemination and implementation, and community partnership models have become prominent. The entry concludes with attention to the development of an educational pipeline that prepares professionals as well as researchers for capable, confident participation into this environment of transdisciplinary and translational approaches.

Bicycle sharing services have played an active role in building a green travel system in China, but this trend has also caused problems, such as users arbitrarily stopping on the roads or the destruction of shared bicycles. Based on data collected by means of a survey that we designed, a regression analysis is used to test the influence of use perception and consumer characteristics on the intention to sustainably use shared bicycles by measuring the intention to: continue using the service, park the bicycles in an orderly manner, and care and protect the bicycles. We find that: (1) perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, consumer innovation, and standardized use behavior have a significantly positive impact on the intention to continue using and park shared bicycles in an orderly manner; (2) perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and consumer innovation also have a significantly positive impact on the intention to care and protect shared bicycles; and, (3) standardized use behavior has no significant impact on the intention to care and protect shared bicycles. Moreover, urban air quality plays a positive regulatory role in the relationship of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and consumer innovation with the intention to sustainably use the service.
