The purpose of the work is to formulate the problem of technical diagnostics of tank cars. Research methods. Methods of formal logic were used methods of the theory of reliability and probability were used to describe the stages of solving the problem. Results. A study of a large array of data on the performance indicators of tank cars for the transportation of liquefied gases of the fleet of a chemical industry enterprise in Ukraine was carried out. The results of technical inspection of tank cars were obtained. A hypothesis has been formed about the possibility of increasing the resource of tank cars of an industrial park for their further operation. A proposal was put forward to consider the last stage of the life cycle as the stage "Life cycle renewal and recycling", which is not defined in Statement Standart. It should in an alternative form represent the stages of "utilization", "modernization", "modification" and "recycling", this will correspond to modern technologies on the scale of the global management of any resources. The research task was formulated, which determines the main task - the possibility of increasing the resource of tank cars of the operating fleet of an industrial enterprise using the methods of technical diagnostics. Practical significance. The solution to the task of determining the technical condition of tank cars will allow an industrial enterprise to reasonably operate the rolling stock during the forecast period.

Aim of this work – to set forth general principles of ground of efficiency of informatively-measuring technologies in the process of exploitation of objects of the real estate. Methodology. The method of substantiating the effectiveness of the restoration of the technical condition of real estate in the process of their operation is based on the use of information and measurement technologies to establish the technical condition of the object, which is a combination of information retrieval methods, instrumental measurement, analysis and processing of such information, technological and technical solutions to ensure the operational suitability of the facility in conditions of uncertainty. The method involves the formation of a repair strategy using information and measurement technologies based on the development of the life cycle of repairs and algorithms for selecting options for instrumental monitoring systems, choosing the procedure for studying the duration of measurement work, justification of labor and information technology costs and comparative assessment of total costs of real estate object. Results. It is established that measuring works are an integral part of the process of operation and repair work in its composition, which are carried out according to a single schedule of operation of the building and are part of repair work, and the frequency and volume of measuring, including geodetic work correlate with. To plan the volume of measuring work, their duration and labor costs are determined on the basis of existing time norms, and in their absence – by methods of technical rationing. Substantiation of the effectiveness of information and measurement technologies in the operation of real estate is performed by comparative assessment of total costs during the operational stage of its life cycle, taking into account the costs of implementing information and measurement technologies, that is the set of processes for obtaining information by instrumental measurement and processing ‘effective conclusion on the technical condition of the property. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is in the development of general principles for substantiating the effectiveness of information and measurement technologies in the operation of real estate. The practical significance lies in the improvement of standard solutions for the choice of composition and content of information and measurement technologies, taking into account their impact on the duration and labor costs of all types of repairs and reconstruction.

The digital technology that unites all services related to production, diagnostics of technical condition, maintenance and repair of mining equipment is based on the SAFE PLANT software package, which provides globality, scalability, versatility, integrability, modularity, distribution, and functionality. The article reflects the results of the implementation of the system at an industrial enterprise.

The article deals with the procedures for certification of private locomotives in order to grant authorization for their operation on certain public railway lines. The special feature of the certification is that, as a rule, locomotives belonging to departments, enterprises and organizations that are not within the management sphere of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" and were not previously used on public railway lines of Ukraine, but are now presented for participation in the project, can be of several types, different years of construction, have different diesel operating hours (SMU hours), different degrees of wear of the mechanical part of load-bearing structures, wheelsets, trolleys, couplings, braking equipment, different technical condition of measuring instruments, safety devices and air tanks, devices security, etc. Therefore, the article presents the provisions of certification schemes (models) that can be used by the certification body for the certification of single locomotives and batches of private locomotives, and their aspects. The paper also presents the basic normative documents according to which certification procedures are carried out. The key aspects of existing certification testing of locomotives are specified. The scope of work on technical diagnostics of locomotives for certification is described. The procedure and duration of the direct certification process are given taking into account the analysis of documentation, technical inspection, provision of expert evaluation, selection and identification of a sample (samples) of a representative item from the batch submitted for sampling, certification testing, processing and registration of test results, comprehensive conclusion on compliance of the locomotive with the requirements of regulatory and technical documents, decision-making on the possibility (or impossibility) of issuing a certificate.

The value of the life cycle of rolling stock wheels is determined by the frequency of maintenance, in the process of which the turning is carried out to restore the profiles of the rolling surfaces, or the replacement of completely worn wheels. Traffic safety depends on the technical condition of the wheels of locomotives and wagons. Maintenance and repair of wheelsets accounts for about 30% of all costs of Ukrzaliznytsia's rolling stock repair units. Wheel repair technologies are based on the complete restoration of wheel profiles by turning, using which, their life cycle is reduced, and costs increase by 20% or more. The railways of Ukraine use an outdated, unreasonable, inefficient system of control over the formation of rolling surfaces in operation. Therefore, there is a need to create a scientifically sound approach to methods of extending the life cycle of the wheels of locomotives and wagons while ensuring the safety of railway rolling stock. According to the proposed scientific approach, the wheel profile is restored to optimal parameters, which provides an extended life cycle of wheelsets. As a result of the developed scientific approach the life cycle of wheel pairs will increase by 15… 25% and the expenses of the railway for their repair will considerably decrease.

In clause questions of definition of a resource of the wheel motor block traction transfer of a motorcarload rolling stock are considered. Problems of forecasting of a technical condition of responsible units oftraction transfer are certain. The model of deterioration in which the periods extra earnings are allocated,normal operation, intensive deterioration and prolongation of service life of the wheel motor block of amotor carload rolling stock is formalized for weigh his life cycle. For each allocated period meetingdependences of speed and intensity of deterioration are offered. According to dependences calculations arelead and analytical expressions of wear of points of cog-wheels of power reducing of traction transfer whichallow to predict his resource in operation are received.

The aim of this article is to evaluate the technical condition of a mechanical four-speed gearbox tightly connected to a mechanical two-speed auxiliary gearbox placed in an off-road vehicle. When observing the technical condition of the mechanical gearbox, we used one of technical diagnostics methods, namely vibrodiagnostics. The mechanical gearbox was monitored during all its life cycle up to failure occurrence. In the article there is a detailed description of the stand where the gearbox technical condition was monitored. When observing vibration signals, we used four tri-axial sensors placed in four selected spots depending on the design arrangement of antifriction bearings. In order to evaluate the measured results, two methods were applied, namely the root mean square gRMS based on the measured acceleration in three axes. The other method used for monitoring the technical condition was the Crest factor. The aim of the experiment was to monitor the technical condition of the mechanical gearbox, mainly its antifriction bearings, therefore the values were measured when the gear was put into fourth position and into overdrive in the auxiliary gearbox. When the gear is put into fourth position, the torque is transmitted from the motor through the main gearbox and the auxiliary gearbox directly. Single gearbox wheels are engaged but not loaded (they do not transmit the torque). At the end of our article we introduced the measured values along with the oral evaluation of the technical condition of the mechanical gearbox and the auxiliary gearbox.

The article brings statistical data on the technical condition of the wagons-tanks of one of the largest enterprises of the Ukrainian chemical industry. The technique of monitoring the technical condition is explained, the classification of damage to wagons-tanks depending on the stages of the life cycle is proposed, the distribution of damage depending on the stages of the life cycle is shown. The information set forth in the article provides the basis for conducting technical diagnostics in order to justify the further term of maintenance

A logging vehicle is a source of increased danger, and its serviceability affects road safety. Diagnostics of the technical condition of the car allows you to timely identify serious defects in components, mechanisms and aggregates without removing them and disassembling them, to have time to eliminate malfunctions in time and bring the technical characteristics to the standard. Analysis of the literature data has shown that diagnostics of the technical condition of a logging vehicle plays an important role in preventing accidents. Our task was to improve the reliability of the car and reduce the complexity of work during the next maintenance. In the article, we justify the criteria necessary for the organization of safe operation of logging vehicles when transporting timber on public roads. The age and technical condition of the timber rolling stock fleet is analyzed. The most frequent failures of forest transport vehicles on the example of cars of the KAMAZ family, affecting the organization of traffic safety, are determined. The necessity of pre-trip control inspections and Express diagnostics of vehicles is revealed. Taking into account the identified shortcomings, the scheme of post-trip removal of parameters from the built-in diagnostics system of a logging vehicle and subsequent remote transmission of data to the server of the control room of a motor transport enterprise has been developed. The conducted scientific research allowed us to find a solution to the problem, which is to allocate technical diagnostics in an independent type of technical impact. This measure will reduce the costs of premature technical impacts on the systems, components and aggregates of timber rolling stock without reducing the requirements for traffic safety

The subways of Moscow and St. Petersburg are the oldest in Russia. Its infrastructure includes a diverse fleet of equipment. The fleet of rolling stock in the last decade was mainly renewed, while due to the peculiarities of operation and mainly for financial reasons, the escalator fleet will not be replaced for a long time. In this connection, the main task of the departments responsible for the operation of escalators is to maintain the rapidly aging fleet in good condition. Thus, a situation, when the escalator economy is a source of costs to meet the constantly increasing demand for re-sources is formed. At the same time, the limited allocation of all types of resources only aggravates the current situation. The above circumstances contribute to the actualization of the issue of selection of tools, which makes it possible to increase the efficiency and safety of operation of underground tunnel escala-tors. According to the authors of the paper, one of such tools can be the forecasting of the technical state of the elements of the escalator subsystems, made on the basis of special routing of infor-mation flows, designed for the optimal distribution of allocated resources. Since an escalator is a complex technical object of increased danger, the routing of information flows for it characterizing its technical condition is possible only on the basis of a preliminary de-composition into information levels. For this reason, the beginning of the paper is devoted to the decomposition of the technical state of the escalator into four information levels, covering all aspects of the technical state from the mi-cro-level of the state of materials from which the elements of the escalator subsystems are made, ending with the functional state of the entire escalator. The purpose of the work is further revealed. It consists in describing a general mathematical model for predicting the technical state of the elements of the escalator subsystems and the re-quirements for its construction. The work describes the main task that solves the proposed forecast model. In conclusion, the options for using the proposed model are considered. The scientific novelty of the proposed approach lies in the use of the modern mathematical appa-ratus of the fuzzy set theory for processing parametric information, elements of artificial intelli-gence, as well as a precedent approach in analyzing the operational situation, which, in combination, are necessary to build a predictive model of the technical state as applied to the escalator facilities of the subway. From a practical point of view, it should be noted that the proposed mathematical model, implemented on the basis of modern information technologies, will make it possible to more rationally adjust the mechanisms for allocating resources, while ensuring the necessary level of safety for passenger transportation.

The article deals with the peculiarities of formation of competitive strategy of the enterprises of flour-milling branch of Ukraine. The paper substantiates the necessity to determine the stage of the life cycle of the industry in the process of formation of the competitive strategy. The market analysis of flour-milling industry of Ukraine is carried out on indicators: size of the market, commodity nomenclature, buyers and their behavior, raw material base and intensity of competition.  The paper determines that the flour-milling industry of Ukraine is at the stage of growth and has a number of tendencies, such as: decrease   in sales volumes, increase in export volumes, standardization of products and average level of competition intensity. The following stages of the life cycle of the industry are studied: introduction, growth, maturity and decline. The paper proves the necessity of distinguishing the stage of renewal in the life cycle of the industry, which is implemented on the basis of modern technologies. The practical significance of the research consists in developing recommendations for choosing a competitive strategy of the flour mill enterprise in accordance with the stage of the life cycle of the industry. The enterprises of the flour-milling industry of Ukraine, in accordance with the stage of the life cycle of the industry are recommended to form competitive advantages on the basis of the concept of "lean production".
