This review study aimed to verify how studies conducted in Brazil have related infant mortality to prenatal care and to present contributions of the clinic in the light of Canguilhem and Foucault for qualification of the care. An integrative literature review was conducted from searches in the databases SciELO, LILACS, MEDLINE and BDENF for the period 2000 to 2009. The relationship between infant mortality and prenatal care is related to the insufficient number of consultations or to the quality of the care provided. Even when the number of and routine consultations in the prenatal care were adequate, avoidable deaths were present. For the qualification of prenatal care, it is suggested that the clinical knowledge and other elements that comprise the process of human living are considered, in order that the clinical view is enlarged and articulated to the technologies available in the health system and, together, they are able to contribute to the reduction of infant mortality in Brazil.

Aim:The objective of this article is to identify and analyze what is known about characteristics in and around the home that support well-being for those with cognitive impairment. This could provide direction for designers of homes in general, but specifically for designers trying to meet the needs of people with cognitive impairment. Background:It has been established that there is a relationship between psychological well-being and a person’s environment. Research also shows that particular design aspects can reduce the impact of cognitive impairment. However, there is limited design expertise in the Australian housing market to create supportive spaces which will help to reduce the impact of the disability for those with cognitive impairment.Method:A literature review was carried out to determine the extent and details of what is known about the relationship of home design and its impact on emotional, psychological, or social well-being for people with cognitive impairment. Conclusions:The study indicates that researchers in various disciplines understand that pragmatic design inputs such as thermal comfort and adequate lighting are important for people with cognitive impairment. In addition, some researchers have shown or surmise that there are other “intangible” designer-controlled elements that have beneficial impacts on people with cognitive impairment. Details of these intangible elements are sparse, and how much they might improve the quality of life for a person with cognitive impairment is not well understood. Further research is required to meet a growing need.

CONTEXT AND OBJECTIVE: Infant mortality expresses a set of living, working and healthcare access conditions and opens up possibilities for adopting interventions to expand equity in healthcare. This study aimed to investigate vulnerability and the consequent differences in access to health services and occurrences of deaths among infants under one year of age in the municipality of Embu. DESIGN AND SETTING: This was a descriptive study in the municipality of Embu. METHODS: Primary data were collected through interviews with the families of children living in the municipality of Embu who died in the years 1996 and 1997 before reaching one year of age. Secondary data were obtained from death certificates. The variables collected related to living conditions, income, occupation, prenatal care, delivery and the healthcare provided for children. These data were compared with the results obtained from a study carried out in 1996. RESULTS: Statistically significant differences were found with regard to income, working without a formal employment contract and access to private health plans among the families of the children who died. There were also differences in access to and quality of prenatal care, frequency of low birth weight and neonatal intercurrences. CONCLUSIONS: The employment/unemployment situation was decisive in determining the degree of family stability and vulnerability to the occurrence of infant deaths, in addition to the conditions of access to and quality of healthcare services.

BACKGROUND During the COVID-19 pandemic, people are being encouraged to maintain social distance. Technology is helping people to reschedule meetings from “face-to-face” interactions to remote videoconferencing. Psychologists are in high demand, due to an increase in stress as a result of COVID. Many seek to both keep treating their current patients, and welcome new ones, given the current high demand for their services. Videoconferencing provides an opportunity to do this. However, shifting treatment from face-to-face to the videoconferencing is not simple as both the psychologist and the patient miss the in-person information and cues, such as body language provides. OBJECTIVE A new theoretical framework is proposed to guide the design of future studies on the impact of the computer as a mediator of psychologist-patient relationships, and the influence of videoconferencing on the whole relationship process. METHODS A literature review has been conducted, screening studies focusing on communication, and the key concepts of therapeutic relationship and therapeutic alliance. RESULTS Studies report that patients are generally satisfied with videoconference therapy in terms of the relationship with their therapists and the establishment of the “therapeutic alliance”. However, psychologists report difficulties in establishing same quality of therapeutic relationship and therapeutic alliance. The analysed studies lead us to interpret data under a different perspective. A new model of relationship is proposed, along with further hypotheses. CONCLUSIONS It is important to consider the computer as having an active role in psychologists and patients’ relationships. CLINICALTRIAL

AbstractGlobal study “The Lancer Breastfeeding Series” 2016 explains that infant mortality due to infection reaches 88% in infants aged less than three months, while 82% of children get sick because they do not receive exclusive breastfeeding. Exclusive breastfeeding can reduce infant mortality due to infection. Several factors that affect exclusive breastfeeding are the mother, the infant, and support factors. One of the sources of support that can affect exclusive breastfeeding is the husband’s support. This study aimed to determine the relationship between husband's support and exclusive breastfeeding through a literature review. This study uses a literature review method. The articles used are sourced from online databases with electronic searches on Google Scholar and Garuda Portal published in 2011-2021. The critical assessment instrument used is the STROBE instrument. Based on the 6 articles used in the litarture review, the results showed that in 3 articles namely research from Fitriani (2020), Rolita (2020), and Aries (2019), there was a correlation between the husband’s support and exclusive breastfeeding. Meanwhile, in the other three articles namely research fromIndriyani (2019), Novira (2017), and Rahayu (2018), there was no correlation between the husband’s support and exclusive breastfeeding. Husband's support is related to exclusive breastfeeding, so that the management of nursing care for breastfeeding mothers should involve the husband. The incidence of urolithiasis tends to relapse, causing increased mortality and medical costs. In 2015, there were 22.1 million cases of urolithiasis which caused death in about 16,000 people. Obesity is a risk factor that can increase the incidence of urolithiasis. However, there are differences in the results of studies regarding the relationship between obesity and urolithiasis. This literature review aims to analyze the factors that influence the relationship between obesity and urolithiasis. This literature review study uses a systematic review design. The data source used in this literature review is secondary data in scientific journals that have met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Based on data synthesis from the fifteen journals studied, twelve journals stated a relationship between obesity and the incidence of urolithiasis. In contrast, the other three stated that there was no relationship between obesity and the incidence of urolithiasis. Obesity is associated with a spectrum of metabolic disorders that lead to increased excretion of urinary lithogenic factors. In addition, obesity can increase urolithiasis in types of calcium oxalate and uric acid stones.

Sleep is an active state that is as complex as wakefulness. The main tasks of sleep are the adaptation and restoration of physical and mental strength. Sleep regulation is a complex multimodal process involving not only neurotransmitters, but also releasingfactors, hormones, cytokines, signaling molecules and metabolites. Having a lot of physiological effects, postoperative sleep plays a role not only in quality of life, but also in the recovery of the patient. The characteristics of the patient, the type of surgical intervention, the methods of anesthesia and their interaction affects postoperative sleep, but the relationship and the level of influence of these factors are not clear. Therefore, given the high prevalence of postoperative insomnia, this problem is relevant for modern anesthesiology.

Abstract: Heart failure is a serious health problem and a leading cause of death, illness, and poor quality of life. Although the diagnosis and treatment of this disease has significant progress, the prognosis is still poor. The physical performance of patients with heart failure, for example, measured by a 6-minute walking test can be used to assess the functional capacity and assess the prognosis of the patient. This study was aimed to determine the relationship between physical performance and prognosis of patients with heart failure. This was a literature review study using literatures obtained from three databases, namely Pubmed, Science Direct, and Google Scholar. The keywords used in searching the literatures were "physical performance OR 6 minutes walking test AND heart failure prognosis" and their variations and translations. After the selection, 10 literatures were reviewed. The results showed that any decreases in distance of the 6-minute walking test and in walking speed would increase the risk of rehospitalization and mortality as reported in nine literatures. In conclusion, there was a significant relationship between physical performance and prognosis of patients with heart failure. Keywords: physical performance, prognosis of heart failure Abstrak: Gagal jantung merupakan masalah kesehatan yang serius dan penyebab utama kematian, kesakitan, serta kualitas hidup yang buruk.
