Labor events are physiological events whose processes can run smoothly and safely if the helper in labor can monitor labor to detect complications early. The purpose  of this study was to look at the factors related to the selection of Birth assistance places for labor mothers in Lingkar Timur Public Health Center of Bengkulu City. This study used descriptive correlational using Cross Sectional design. The sample in this study was taken by using purposive sampling technique that is taking as many as 78 samples. Data were tested using the chi-square test. To determine the closeness of the relationship, a contingency coefficient (C) test has been used. There is a relationship between age with the selection of birth assistance places in labor mothers in the Lingkar Timur Public Health Center in Bengkulu City with p=0,000 0,05 a close relationship category. There is a relationship of parity with the selection of birth places in delivery mothers in the Lingkar Timur Public Health Center Work Area with p=0,003 0,05 medium relationship category. There is an educational relationship with the selection of birth places in delivery mothers in Lingkar Timur Public Health Center with p=0,000 0,05 in the category of close relationships. There is a relationship between the complication of labor and the choice of place of delivery assistance for women giving birth in Lingkar Timur Public Health Center of Bengkulu City with p=0,000 0,05 a close relationship category. Based on the results of the study recommends the importance of health promotion such as Antenatal care, conducting pregnant mothers class programs, so that pregnant women get information and knowledge about their pregnancy conditions and can choose the right place of delivery according to their pregnancy conditions.

Safe childbirth is childbirth that helped by health personnel in health care facilities. Coverage of childbirth in health care facilities in Jambi province did not reach strategic plan target yet (77.00%), achievement (63.03%), Jambi city (93.86%) and the public health center did not reach target province yet (90%) that is the public health center Talang Bakung (79.00%) and Pal Merah II (78.00%). This study aimed to determine the correlation of knowledge and postpartum mothers attitude about childbirth in health care facilities with a selection of helping in childbirth at the public health center Talang Bakung. This is an analytic descriptive research; with total populations were 32 postpartum mothers, it used total sampling technique. Instrument test was conducted at the public health center Pal Merah II toward 10 postpartum mothers; an instrument used demographic data instrument, knowledge instrument, attitude instrument, and selection of helping in childbirth instrument, with fisher exact test and contingency coefficient. The findings indicated that there is no significant correlation between knowledge and attitudes of childbirth in healthcare facilities with a selection of helping in childbirth with each score p is (p=0.444 p=1.000), contingency coefficient (p=0.399, p=1.000). It is concluded that knowledge and attitude of the postpartum mother about childbirth in healthcare facilities did not affect in a selection of childbirth place chosen by the mother. For the next researcher to research about childbirth in healthcare facilities with the different method.

The impact if  complementary foods was given early  is the infants will become more easily sick, ranging from cough, colds, fever, constipation, or diarrhea.               The purpose of this study was to study the factors associated with  early complementary feeding practices of  infants in working area of  Basuki Rahmat Public Health Center Bengkulu. This research used Cross Sectional design.                                     The population of this study was all mothers who had infants aged 7-12 months, amounting to 328 mothers. The sampling technique used Simple Random Sampling technique which amounted to 77 mothers. Data collection in this study used primary and secondary data with statistical test Chi-Square (χ2) through SPSS  program. The results of this study were from 77 mothers of  infants aged               7-12 months, 51 mothers (66.2%) had good knowledge, 51 mothers (66.2%) had             a pre-prosperous social economy, 44  mothers (57.1%) did not work, 59  mothers (76.6%) gave complementary  food age 6 months. There was no significant relationship between mother's knowledge, mother's work status, and social economy  with  early  complementary feeding  practices  in  working area of  Basuki  Rahmat  Public  Health Center Bengkulu. It was expected that Basuki Rahmad  Public Health Center to do counseling about exclusive breastfeeding and  complementary   feeding  practices  to pregnant women and mothers who have children under five in  working  area of  Basuki Rahmat  Public  Health Center Bengkulu. Keywords : complementary  food, employment status, knowledge, social economic

ABSTRACTThe number cases of diphtheria in East Java have increased more years. Surabaya is one of cities that implemented the Sub Pekan Imunisasi Nasional (PIN) Diphtheria. Sub PIN Diphtheria is a program that aims to break the chain of diphtheria transmission. Children aged > 7–15 years are one of the program’s targets Sub PIN Diphtheria. Sub PIN coverage for groups of children aged > 7–15 years in Kalijudan Public Health Center (PHC) only 79.15%, while the predetermined minimum target is 95%. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between knowledge and support from family with immunization status Td in Sub PIN diphtheriae. The research used case kontrol design by using a quantitative approach. The population case is all children aged > 7–15 years in Kalijudan PHC the immunization status Td in Sub PIN program is incomplete. Number of respondents by 60 people. The selection of the sample with simple random sampling. The variabels studied were the characteristics, knowledge, and family support. The results showed that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge of mothers (p = 0.038). There is a relationship between support from family with immunization status Td in sub PIN diphtheria (p = 0.030). It is expected that cross-sector cooperation in the implementation of sub PIN diphtheria and increase knowledge related maternal sub PIN diphtheria and diphtheria by counseling.Keywords: family support, immunization, knowledge, Sub PIN diphtheria
