Widespread now technological scheme and construction technology of wastewater do not provide normative qualitative parameters that correspond to the requirements of the water fish-economical ponds.The limited financing of construction of new sewage is the main method of improving the reconstruction and/or intensification of existing sewage systems.Now for the intensification of the process of purification of biologically treated wastewater purification filter with the proposed design of the load which ershov fully satisfies modern requirements on quality of discharged waste water into a reservoir.

The study was conducted to explore the physicochemical parameters of water, fish diversity andfisheries resources of Korotoa River at Bogura city of Bangladesh during July 2015 to February 2016. Thewater samples were collected from five sampling stations in the Korotoa River during wet and dry seasons.The results of the study showed that temperature, EC, TDS, DO, BOD, alkalinity, acidity and total hardnessof the Karotoa River water were 25.86ºC, 297.41 ?S/cm, 98.86 mg/L, 2.17 mg/L, 2.64 mg/L, 122.05mg/L, 3.28 mg/L and 75.59 mg/L, respectively. The DO and BOD contents of the river water were foundunsuitable for fisheries when compared with the standard of DoE. A total of ten fish species under six ordersand seven families were identified during the study period. The study also revealed that the most remarkablecause of water quality degradation of the river was waste dumping (58%) followed by urbanization and riverbank erosion. The water quality degradation (46%) negatively influenced the abundance of fish species. Theresults concluded that the water quality of the river is not favorable for production of fishes and other aquaticorganisms. The study suggested that the source of water quality degradation should be closely monitoredtogether with the industrial effluent and/or domestic sewage discharge should be reduced or stopped throughthe initiatives of the local government concerned to maintain sound and healthy ecosystem of the river.

The growth in the production of dairy products entails the problem of treating wastewater from the operation of dairy plants. This article discusses the possibility of using a purification technological scheme using sorbents from natural waste, which is an alternative to the traditional one, which includes a biological stage. In this study, activated biochar from rice husks and graphite are used as sorbents. As a result of purification according to the proposed scheme, the quality of the treated water corresponds to the normative indicators when discharged into the city sewage network.

The article deals with theoretical and practical aspects of biological waste water rehabilitation of sugar factories by algocoenosis correction. This technology allows you to transfer domestic sewage treatment plant of filtration mode fields in the biological treatment ponds mode, significantly reducing the area of sewage treatment plants, thus improving the quality of treated waste water, which will, in turn, use them repeatedly reducing total water consumption.

The industrial production of ethanol by fermentation using molasses as main material that generates large quantity of wastewater. This wastewater contains high levels of colour and chemical oxygen demand (COD), that may causes serious environmental pollution. Most available treatment processes in Vietnam rely on biological methods, which often fail to treat waste water up to discharge standard. As always, it was reported that quality of treated wastewater could not meet Vietnameses discharge standard. So, it is necessary to improve the treatment efficiency of whole technological process and therefore, supplemental physico-chemical treatment step before biodegradation stage should be the appropriate choice. This study was carried out to assess the effect of coagulation process on decolourization and COD removal in molasses-based ethanol production wastewater using inorganic coaglutant under laboratory conditions. The experimental results showed that the reductions of COD and colour with the utilization of Al2(SO4)3 at pH 9.5 were 83% and 70%, respectively. Mixture FeSO4 – Al2(SO4)3 at pH 8.5 reduced 82% of colour and 70% of COD. With the addition of Polyacrylamide (PAM), the reduction efficiencies of colour, COD and turbidity by FeSO4 – Al2(SO4)3 were 87%, 73.1% and 94.1% correspondingly. It was indicated that PAM significantly reduced the turbidity of wastewater, however it virtually did not increase the efficiencies of colour and COD reduction. Furthermore, the coagulation processes using PAM usually produces a mount of sludge which is hard to be deposited.

Corneal topography is the main method for assessing the regularity of the surface of the cornea. Corneal irregularity leads to a deterioration in its refractive properties and a decrease in the quality of vision. Learning the basics of corneal topography will help determine the choice of a color map for a specific situation, as well as understand and analyze the data associated with these maps. This article describes the main types of topographic maps, various patterns of corneal shape in normal and pathological conditions and how to use the data obtained to design and fit contact lenses. Despite the fact that images may vary depending on topographers used, the information presented in this article is universal.

Soya bean sauce waste water is an high organic wastewater and has dark colour, therefore it is diffi cult to degrade it biologically. Base on as mentioned above, it is tried to process it with coagulation and fl okulation use Alumunium sulphate and PAC which is added to wastewater with several dosis variation of Alumunium sulphate: 100, 200, 300. 250, and PAC with dosis 50, 100, 150, 200 ppm. Experiment result shows the experiment which use a match Alumunium sulphate and PAC as coagulant could give a good quality of processing and suitable with the treshhold of wastewater. The application of fl okulan Aquaklir 240 could help the performance of coagulan that can be seen from the fl oc size form.Key words : fl occulation, coagulation.

The Paris Metropolitan area, which contains over eight million inhabitants, has a daily output of about 3 M cu.meters of wastewater, the purification of which is achieved by SIAAP (Paris Metropolitan Area Sewage Service) in both Achères and Valenton plants. The carbon pollution is eliminated from over 2 M cu.m/day at Achères. In order to improve the quality of output water, its tertiary nitrification in fixed-bed reactors has been contemplated. The BIOFOR (Degremont) and BIOCARBONE (OTV) processes could be tested in semi-industrial pilot reactors at the CRITER research center of SIAAP. At a reference temperature of 13°C, the removed load is approximately 0.5 kg N NH4/m3.day. From a practical point of view, it may be asserted that in such operating conditions as should be at the Achères plant, one cubic meter of filter can handle the tertiary nitification of one cubic meter of purified water per hour at an effluent temperature of 13°C.

In Germany the application of procedures such as flocculation and filtration in the preparation of drinking water results in the annual production of an estimated 500,000 t of sediments and sludges. Some of these residues have a potential for being reused, for example in agriculture, forestry, brickworks or waste water treatment. To assess the microbiological quality of residues from waterworks methods for the detection of enterobacteria, Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Legionella, poliovirus, Ascaris suis eggs and Cryptosporidium have been evaluated regarding their detection limits and were applied to various residues from German waterworks. Results show that sediments and sludges may contain pathogenic bacteria, viruses and protista. When residues from waterworks are intended to be reused in agriculture or forestry the microbiological quality should therefore be considered.

In the framework of agricultural wastewater reuse, the W.H.O. has defined a parasitological quality for sewage with less than one nematode egg per liter. The purpose of this work is to define an effective method to detect helminth eggs in wastewater. Seven techniques have been applied to waste water analysis, with a comparison of their respective results, varying from 26 to 74 %. Be it in the framework of artificial contamination or on site, the best results were obtained with the diphasic technique perfected at the laboratory including a treatment with antiformine at 8 % + ethylacetate followed by a flotation with zinc sulphate at 55%. The validation in the laboratory of the methods performance on treated wastewater allowed us to show that the yield of the method is significantly independent of the egg concentration as well as giving good homogeneity of results with a concentration of 1 egg/litre.
