The aim of this paper consists in the study of trends in the development of cultural tourism of the post-industrial era. Research methodology. The author applies historical, bibliographic and analytical methods. Results. Art is an extremely important component of the tourism product, and cultural tourism is based on experience, according to which tourists become involved in the creative process, stimulating the activities presented to them. Tourism can qualitatively improve the processes of organizing and conducting games, festivals, competitions, exhibitions, giving those aesthetics and making them in the historic chronicle of the city. Festivals and holiday events play an important role in the development of cultural tourism. They are more accessible to the mass spectator because they are held in open venues, offer choices and are perceived as a lively and genuine holiday, inspiring their own self-improvement. Novelty. The author gives a rationale for the appropriateness and application of the new concept of cultural tourism, with the creation of even more specialized forms of tourism, one of which, namely, creative tourism. The practical significance. The study of issues within the framework of cultural tourism requires the use of an interdisciplinary approach, which acquires its clear features when choosing a subject of study. The interaction of culture and tourism, the cultural trajectories of modern tourism serve as a structure for analyzing the construction of identity and multiculturalism. Socio-cultural practices of modern tourism, developing in the context of global processes, have provided opportunities to systematically analyze and identify ways of positive practical implementation of its explicit and implicit opportunities. The material culture of the industrial age in the conditions of rapid development of the information society is considered as a historical resource that needed to be preserved and reused, and as a new direction of development of the tourism industry. Cultural tourism has become the main segment in most tourist destinations, but recently the focus has shifted from a purely quantitative increase in demand for the consumption of cultural and attractions to qualitative changes in the nature of this demand, which is based on the inherent desire to see and know parts of the world. In the modern literature on culture emphasizes its material component (buildings, structures, artifacts, works of art, etc.) and its elusive part (traditions, norms of behavior, beliefs, ideas, symbols, language, etc.). In this regard, for anyone, cultural tourism is not just an opportunity to get acquainted with some object of culture, but also to understand its interpretation, to learn new meanings through the environment, to assess the context (feel the atmosphere of the place), in other words, learn about the culture of the place and its inhabitants.

Introduction. Today, the field of education around the world is facing a protracted crisis caused by the transition to post-industrial society. The dynamic knowledge obsolescence due to the rapid development of science and high technology caused deep structural changes in employment and significantly shortened the life cycle of professions. Modern economy needs specialists with qualitatively new characteristics: a competent and flexible person with meta-professional competencies, who is capable to implement innovative activity and to work in multitasking regime in the situation of instability and uncertainty, and who is ready for active professional self-determination throughout life. Therefore, a radical reorganisation of vocational education system is necessary to be undertaken. It is significantly important to solve this problem through the conduction of professional and pedagogical training of teachers, since the level of their competency primarily depends on the qualitative characteristics of future employees for diverse sectors of the economy and production. The aim of the present article is to define strategic guidelines for predicting the development of professional education in the conditions of post-industrial society.Methodology and research methods. The theoretical and methodological framework of the research is based on the theory of vocational development, the concept of determining the immediate and long-term perspectives of educational sphere, as well as logical-evolutionary, system-dynamic, project-based, personal and convergent approaches. In the course of the research, the methods of analysis, synthesis, generalisation and hypothetical-inductive method were applied. Results and scientific novelty. The trends and directions of vocational education development are identified and described. The principal defining factor of vocational education is close integration of all its processes and subsystems (prevocational, primary vocational, vocational higher secondary and postgraduate education), which integrity is ensured by the continuity and compliance with the principle of advanced education. The concept of convergence and transprofessional in multi-disciplinary training of professionals is revealed. The process of convergence, determining interdisciplinary and prevocational links, ensures transprofessionalism formation – human readiness and participation in the development and realisation of new types of socio-professional activities. A logical and semantic model of a modern specialist is constructed. This model can serve as an empirical basis for designing and supporting a vocational educational platform, which integrates natural science, industrial-technological and socio-humanitarian disciplines and related innovative technologies when training teachers for the system of vocational education. Transprofessionalism, cooperation, collaboration, advanced and high-speed education are highlighted as the vocational training strategies in the conditions of digital transformation of the economy.Practical significance. The research materials can be useful for the specialists in the field of vocational education, for the managerial staff of educational organisations when developing management decisions and organising efficient preparation of teaching personnel.

Anthropological research in the high-elevation regions of northwestern Nepal offers insights into the populationhistory of the Himalayan arc through a multi- and interdisciplinary approach that includes not only archaeologicaldata and historic and ethnographic accounts but also genomic, isotopic, and bioarchaeologicaldata, as well as innovative use of thermal niche modeling for paleoclimate reconstruction. Together these linesof evidence have allowed us to address project questions about human settlement into the region, including(1) sources of population movements into high-elevation environments of the Himalayan arc and (2) bioculturaladaptations to high-mountain environments. In this paper we compare research at several communalmortuary sites, each with a rich assemblage of material culture and human burials: Mebrak (400 B.C.–A.D. 50),Kyang (400–175 B.C.), and Samdzong (A.D. 450–650), as well as intriguing insights from finds in the earlier (ca.1250–450 B.C.) sites of Lubrak, Chokhopani, and Rhirhi. Our genomic findings demonstrate population originsfrom the Tibetan plateau, despite South Asian material culture recovered in early sites. Bioarchaeological findingsof low frequencies of non-specific stress and trauma indicate successful biocultural adaptation to highaltitudeconditions of hypoxia, cold, and low resource availability, potentially through buffering from exchangenetworks and local cultural practices, alongside high-altitude selected alleles. An integrative, multidisciplinaryapproach thus offers significantly greater opportunities for developing a more nuanced understanding of thepast processes of migration, settlement, and biocultural adaptation in the region.

In a post-industrial society, social processes are dynamic, complex, and diverse. Social interaction management is turning into a competency in its own right. This competency is shaped by many factors, which are affected by the institutional setup as well as the individual features and localisation of the subject and object of management. Investigating and developing the managerial competencies that are necessary for the successful operation of society is a major trend in contemporary science. Studies in the area require an interdisciplinary approach. The aim of this research is to identify the managerial competencies that are crucial for the adequate and stable functioning of regional administration systems. An analysis of the components of managerial competencies and their factors is carried out to identify their status in the centre of an exclave region (Kaliningrad) and in Moscow. The study draws on the authors’ frame-based methodology (Rospatent No. 2012660535), which makes it possible to obtain objective empirical information on competency factors and their types. Sought-after competencies and their indicative structures were identified for each region. The findings are not only of theoretical importance but are well adapted for practical purposes, particularly, for advanced training of managers and teaching related university disciplines.

The article examines the topic of determinants affecting the features of the practical implementation of ideas in the context of a digital society. The features of the digital model of society as a version of the post-industrial society are presented. The urgency of rethinking the problem as a determinant of social development has been substantiated. The essential features of the main trends of the digital society are analyzed and identified, which include the traditional interpretation of the inevitably distorted embodiment of ideas in social phenomena. Demonstrated are the changes represented by the identity of individuals and brought to the coalescence and the virtual level of being. The inevitability of taking into account the systemic effect of implemented ideas, which affects not only the sphere of their direct implementation, is noted. Theatricalization of digital society in the spheres of public life is highlighted. The problem of simulacra is actualized, allowing powerful actors to distort the original meaning of ideas in their own interests. The emphasis is made on the importance of linguistic analysis for adequate perception and understanding of the content of ideas. In conclusion, generalizations that form the theoretical and methodological basis of practical applications in the society of the digital world.

The relevance of the research topic is due to the existing general professional demand for the development and expansion of the conceptual and theoretical arsenal of modern social sciences due to the dynamic complication of social forms and structures. The transition from industrial to post-industrial society, globalization and the rapid development of communication technologies have actualized the emergence of a new type of social reality. This problem has not yet been fully investigated due to their novelty and unusualness. Nevertheless, there is an urgent need to respond to the risks of our time, which is what science is called to do. The sociological perspective of the study seems to be the most accurate and fruitful, as it provides an opportunity for a comprehensive examination of this phenomenon. The purpose of the study, the results of which are presented in this report, was to implement the worldview reception of the "new sociality" of modern youth in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine, based on well-known postmodern sociological concepts and the results of their own sociological research.
