Tourism can qualitatively improve the processes of organizing and conducting games, festivals, competitions, exhibitions, giving those aesthetics and making them in the historic chronicle of the city. Festivals and holiday events play an important role in the development of cultural tourism. They are more accessible to the mass spectator because they are held in open venues, offer choices and are perceived as a lively and genuine holiday, inspiring their own self-improvement. Novelty. The author gives a rationale for the appropriateness and application of the new concept of cultural tourism, with the creation of even more specialized forms of tourism, one of which, namely, creative tourism. The practical significance. The study of issues within the framework of cultural tourism requires the use of an interdisciplinary approach, which acquires its clear features when choosing a subject of study. The interaction of culture and tourism, the cultural trajectories of modern tourism serve as a structure for analyzing the construction of identity and multiculturalism. Socio-cultural practices of modern tourism, developing in the context of global processes, have provided opportunities to systematically analyze and identify ways of positive practical implementation of its explicit and implicit opportunities. The material culture of the industrial age in the conditions of rapid development of the information society is considered as a historical resource that needed to be preserved and reused, and as a new direction of development of the tourism industry. Cultural tourism has become the main segment in most tourist destinations, but recently the focus has shifted from a purely quantitative increase in demand for the consumption of cultural and attractions to qualitative changes in the nature of this demand, which is based on the inherent desire to see and know parts of the world. In the modern literature on culture emphasizes its material component (buildings, structures, artifacts, works of art, etc.) and its elusive part (traditions, norms of behavior, beliefs, ideas, symbols, language, etc.). In this regard, for anyone, cultural tourism is not just an opportunity to get acquainted with some object of culture, but also to understand its interpretation, to learn new meanings through the environment, to assess the context (feel the atmosphere of the place), in other words, learn about the culture of the place and its inhabitants.

The authors consider modern sports in the context and in connection with the trends in the development of modern civilization, such as post-industrial transformations of the economy, urbanization and the humanization of public life. The main functions of modern sports are highlighted, noting that these functions were formed within the framework of the modern society. It is noted that the attribute and function of modern sports is the normalization of social life on the basis of social norms that correspond to the ethos of the new humanism. It is emphasized that in Russia, sport as a mass social practice is characterized not only by the functionality of a post-industrial society, since it bears the archaic imprint of the ambivalence that took shape in Soviet society and continues to determine the development of sports in modern Russia.

Introduction. Post-industrial society is characterized by new requirements for economic information provided by the accounting system. The transformation of the understanding of the essence of economic information in modern conditions is associated with a number of important factors. Therefore, the study of these factors, as well as the corresponding changes in the characteristics and perception of economic information is an important area of research.Objective. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the approaches to the interpretation of information as a process of programmatic generation of reality in terms of information modelling of economic and social phenomena.Methods. The following approaches are used for this purpose: entropic, algorithmic, combinatorial, which provide quantitative determination of the complexity of the displayed object, process or phenomenon; syntactic, which indicates the internal features of the processes that are displayed, their structure, organization, complexity, etc; semantic, which allows us to describe the content and novelty of information for the user; pragmatic, which allows us to assess the usefulness of the received message. Results. The concept of “information” has been researched as a basic element of accounting science in post-industrial society, which involves understanding the role of thought processes in cognition of economic reality and the creation of information matrices to form models of behaviour of objects / subjects of economic activity. It was determined that information is interconnected with human, consciousness, thinking and perception of reality through the prism of economics, and economic interpretation of information involves understanding the categories of value of information, such as resources, goods, objects of labour and more. Accounting information is considered as a reflection of the content   of relations that arise in the process of economic agent and its adaptation to the external environment, regardless of the form of presentation of this information. Emphasis is placed on the philosophical interpretation of information as a process of programmatic generation of reality in terms of information modelling of economic and social phenomena. We have proved that the main value of accounting information is its usefulness for a particular management decision, and the use of accounting information, taking into account its value for management is limited by up perception and reflection of users of this information. Discussion. A promising area of further research is the identification of opportunities for the formation of different types of information for interested users and the development of appropriate methods for processing credentials to implement in practice the task of maximizing the satisfaction of their information requests.

This article is devoted to the role of education in forming a successful personal development trajectory through a value system. Study shows that modern era can be described by categories of two concepts that are similar in essence and contradictory in certain manifestations: postmodernism and postindustrialism. Article hypothesizes that a postmodern value system is necessary to overcome digital destructive influence on education that is imposed by the information and digital priorities of postindustrialism. It shows that, with the universal digitization of knowledge, there is an urgent need to form three primary competencies of individual that can be provided only by education: values, communications, and knowledge, that are not subject to digital replication. It argues that growing trend of turning universities into digital corporations contains threats to the future development of the emerging personality and its value system. Article concludes that it is possible to overcome the identified threats in implementation of global educational policy, at national and global levels, which will require a critical understanding of emerging trends in digital world.

A project for the long-term strategy of Russian break-through into post-industrial society is suggested which is directed at transformation of the hi-tech complex into the leading factor of economic development. The thesis is substantiated that there is an opportunity to realize such a strategy in case Russia shifts towards the mechanism of the monetary base growth generally accepted in developed countries: the Central Bank increases the quantity of "strong" money by means of purchasing state securities and allocates the increment of money in question according to budget priorities. At the same time for the realization of the said strategy it is necessary to partially restore savings lost during the hyperinflation period of 1992-1994 and default of 1998 and to secure development of the bank system as well as an increase of the volume of long-term credits on this base.

Abstract A city’s public spaces ought to meet a number of requirements to serve their main purpose, that is to foster public life. They need, for instance, to answer people’s needs, fulfil certain social functions, and let people use their basic rights, among them the most important right of access. In Katowice, one of the most prominent examples of the regeneration of public spaces is now the Culture Zone. The aim of this paper is to discuss the development of social functions in the area mentioned, a fine example of the post-industrial heritage of Upper Silesia. Applying some of the qualities of public space identified in the theories adopted, the paper discusses how the Culture Zone [in Polish: Strefa Kultury] fulfils the above-mentioned demands and requirements. Is it accessible? Does it meet the need for comfort? Does it function as a leisure space? By referring to analyses and opinions presented in the literature and comparing them with the results of the author’s own empirical research, this article discusses the importance, opportunities, and shortcomings of the Culture Zone as a public space.
