With the modern growth of collective farm construction, the organization of public catering in the collective farm is a very important measure that contributes to raising labor productivity. Since collective farm production is in the field, the most important form of public catering during the spring sowing and harvesting campaigns should be considered a seasonal hearth-kitchen organized in the field in the working brigades. Interested in this issue, we can share a small experience of our work with regard to the organization of public catering in the field in the collective farms of Romanovsky district of Saratov region.

Abstract Background This study reports the global occurrence of in-flight emergency births on commercial airlines. To date, no existing research investigating in-flight emergency births has been published. Methods A retrospective study was conducted of all known in-flight births on commercial airlines between 1929 and 2018. Results Between 1929 and 2018, there were 74 infants born on 73 commercial flights. Seventy-one of the infants survived delivery, two died shortly after delivery and the status of one is unknown. Seventy-seven percent of the flights were designated international flights, and 26% of all flights were diverted due to the in-flight emergency births. The gestational age at delivery ranged from 25 to 38 weeks with 10% of the infants born at 37–38 weeks, 16% born at 34–36 weeks, 19% born at 31–33 weeks and 12% born prior to 32 weeks. Physicians, nurses, the flight crew and other medical personnel provided medical assistance in 45% of the births. Conclusion In-flight emergency births are infrequent but not trivial. Commercial airlines are dependent on physicians and other medically trained passengers to help with in-flight deliveries. Despite US Federal Aviation Authority and Joint Aviation Authority standards, on-board medical and first aid kits are depleted and inadequate for in-flight deliveries.

The purpose of the study is to determine the measures necessary for effective first aid to victims in specific conditions of ski complexes (GC). Materials and methods of research. When forming the general theoretical base of the scientific research, we used extensive analytical material devoted to certain aspects of the organization of first aid and medical assistance to victims at the scene of the event, contained in the works of Russian and foreign scientists. A comprehensive comparative analysis of normative legal acts on the problem under consideration is performed. Research results and their analysis. The issues of first aid to victims in ski resorts of the Russian Federation are considered. Attention is drawn to the insufficient powers of employees of emergency rescue units (ASF) to provide effective first aid, as defined by the legislation of the Russian Federation and other regulatory legal acts. The article highlights the specifics of providing first aid to victims on ski slopes, proposals to expand the permissible actions of rescuers are substantiated, designed to ensure the maximum effectiveness of first aid during the "Golden hour" before the arrival of emergency medical teams. The recommended additions to the powers of specially trained rescuers are divided into first aid actions directly on the slope and actions at the control and rescue point at the foot of the mountain while waiting for the arrival of the SMP team. The most significant proposals for expanding such powers include the possibility of infusion therapy, the use of general analgesics, and the installation of an air duct in the absence of consciousness of the victim.

Abstract The effects of sowing seasons and chemical, organic and biological fertilizer sources were explored on morphological traits of dragon’s head (Lallemantia iberica Fish.) in a field experiment based on a randomized complete block design in three replications and six treatments. The fertilization treatments included organic fertilizers (vermicompost, manure, and humic acid), biological fertilizer (Thiobacillus mixed with sulfur), chemical fertilizer (macro NPK), and control (no-fertilization). The recorded traits included leaf area index, plant height, number of flower cycles per plant, number of achenes per plant, number of seeds per plant, 1000-seed weight, number of auxiliary branches, plant diameter, and the uptake of nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus, calcium, and sodium. The results showed that the winter sowing outperformed the spring sowing by a wide margin and results obtained for morphological traits were significantly higher than those of the spring sowing. The fertilization of the plants in both sowing seasons, especially in the winter sowing, improved yield and yield components. The uptake of N and K was not influenced by the sowing season and fertilizer type, whereas the uptake of P, Ca, and Na was influenced by these factors but with a slight difference. It can, so, be inferred that the uptake of nutrients in dragon’s heads is less influenced by the environment. Overall results indicated that the improvement of morphological traits in the ecological conditions of Azerbaijan region (Iran) was most notable for winter sowing of dragon’s heads with the use of Thiobacillus and vermicompost fertilizers.

All requests for medical assistance need to be answered. In France, the public “Service d'Aide Medicale d'Urgence” (SAMU) receives the calls and can send, if necessary, mobile physician-staffed ambulances. SAMU works in coordination with the police, the fire brigade and general practitioners.Response to the request for medical assistance from the public has been solved in different ways, such as agreement on a single call number for certain countries, and whether or not to use a physician-staffed system. In France, the first mobile emergency and resuscitation units (SMUR) were created in 1967. This initiative was taken by anesthesiologists, some surgeons, and military physicians belonging especially to the fire brigade of Paris, and to the seafaring-men of Marseille. The necessity of centralizing coordinating calls and radio controlling the public means of assistance has led to the creation of the Emergency Aid Services or SAMU.
