Introduction. Discipline is a form of behaviour reflecting responsibility in a person and is essential to be applied to students. However, in reality, many students commit disciplinary violations at school. Therefore, social care teachers must provide innovative services to eliminate disciplinary violations. One such example is the narrative storytelling model presented in the form of healing stories, which can be applied to develop knowledge, feeling, social skills, and appreciation. Storytelling can play a very helpful role in counselling because stories reflect cultural laws, ethics, as well as in governing daily rules behaviour and guide decision-making.Aim. The current research is aimed to demonstrate group healing storytelling model in multicultural counselling services in schools for disciplinary case management.Methodology and research methods. This research methodology is based on the ADDIE (Analysis Design Development Implementation Evaluations) model. The participants of this study were 60 students at Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya Senior High School (Palangkaraya, Indonesia). The research instruments for the verification of group healing storytelling model in multicultural counselling services involved front group discussion (FGD), questionnaires, and Likert scale to examine student discipline data. Results and scientific novelty. The present research provides group healing storytelling model based in multicultural counselling services by applying aspects of local culture in Indonesia, namely ‘Huma Betang' (local culture in central Kalimantan, Indonesia). The authors developed a narrative storytelling model consisting of objectives and intervention stages. The strengths and weaknesses of this model were analysed. Based on the data analysis, this model can be used to improve disciplinary behaviour. The results of statistical analysis show that disciplinary behaviour has increased after the provision of healing storytelling services.Practical significance. Based on the research results, the authors recommend this model for disciplinary case handlers. This model is also effective to integrate the components of socio-cultural context in curriculum planning. The present model is easily to accept because it has the uniformity with the culture of counsellee. However, it is limited to a cultural context, so it will be complicated to implement it in a different cultural environment.

Assisted reproductive technology (ART) is hailed as “the holy grail” for infertile patients in the mainstream narrative. The existing studies have clearly demonstrated how external social factors shape how ART is to be used, but they ignore the recipients of the technologies, and especially the experiences of women. Based on an investigation conducted in Z hospital’s reproductive center, this article regards embodiment as the methodological orientation for integrating socio-cultural context with female embodied experience in order to show their bio-social entanglement. As fieldwork evidence indicates, ART in practice is far from simple “hope technology”; instead, it throws women into a paradoxical world in which hope and anxiety coexist. Embodied experience, hope, and anxiety are transmitted through the bodies of women, which reveals the inscription of social-cultural context and technical uncertainty on the female body and, meanwhile, women actively learn strategies by which to cope with the technical uncertainty and moral pressures from local culture (including healing the body, folk religion, etc.), so as to hold onto infertility treatment with hope.

With poor integrity and unclear goals, the curriculum planning for physical education (PE) in colleges cannot effectively promote the innovation ability of students. To solve the problem, this paper attempts to clearly evaluate the effect of curriculum planning for college PE on the innovation ability of PE majors. Based on the defects of the current curriculum planning, the authors put forward several strategies and suggestions to enhance the promoting effect of college PE curriculum planning on innovation ability. Following the fuzzy theory, an index system and a fuzzy evaluation model were put forward to quantify the effect of college PE curriculum planning on innovation ability. The research results have great theoretical and practical significance.

The practice of community health nursing (CHN) may enhance the life experiences of families and communities, particularly amongst the poor and socially marginalised. CHN provides for a deeper understanding of the health status of families living within communities, for example, where and how they live, their cultural context and their ability to identify resources available to assist with their health care (Allender, Rector & Warner 2010:17).This qualitative phenomenological study reflects on the self-reported lived experiences of undergraduate CHN students at the University of the Western Cape in the City of Cape Town, South Africa. These students conducted a family health assessment (FHA) learning task at the homes of families within communities.Purposive and convenience sampling was used by students who had conducted an FHA. Fourteen students agreed to participate in the study, of whom nine were interviewed, two withdrew and the remaining three were not interviewed since no new data were emerging during interviews, indicating that saturation had been reached.During in-depth interviews with seven female and two male students, data for the exploration of the lived experiences was gathered through the following question: ‘How did you experience the FHA?’ Field notes were taken and used to capture non-verbal communication of participants. The focus of the study was to explore the lived experiences of students and not those of the family on whom the FHA was completed.Data collected were categorised into themes, guided by the systematic data analysis process of Tesch (1990) cited in Cresswell (2003:192). Four themes emerged: challenges of family selection, challenges of safety, socio-cultural challenges and academic challenges experienced by the participants. This study will inform future research and curriculum planning for CHN education in a multifaceted context.

The purpose of this paper is to highlight the integrated features of the “mediation” concept in the mediation and cultural context. The methodology. The study investigates this issue by using the basic methods and principles of cultural studies as well as a number of theoretical research methods (analysis and synthesis, comparative (compared the views of scientists, traditions, values of different cultures), and terminological analysis. The results. The paper highlights the understanding of the notion “culture” in the mediation process that is analyzed as a means of successful communication of equal partners in a crosscultural environment in the age of globalization. It investigates the issues of culturological empathy as a leading component of the process of interaction of individuals in a multicultural society, which determines the effective conflictfree human activity without losing their individuality. It is proved that the understanding of culturological features reveals the potential of new opportunities that ensure the coherence of actions of social actors based on the relevant cultural values. The topicality of this paper is in the generalization of the theoretical concepts in the modern science as for interpretation of interrelations of the phenomenon of culture and mediation. The practical significance presupposes the ways of implementation of the theoretical cultural principles in the mediation process that enhances the performance.

Meanwhile, there’s inconsistence in the case of word writing in manuscript.
