Application of Environmental Psychology in the Design of Intelligent Agricultural Garden

In order to improve the design quality of intelligent agricultural park and meet the needs of tourists, the concept of environmental psychology is applied to the design of sightseeing park. Combined with the basic concept of environmental psychology, this paper analyzes the relationship between environmental psychology and the design of smart agricultural park, so as to determine the behavior needs of the audience. On this basis, the construction type of the garden sightseeing park is determined, and the appropriate construction site is selected according to its construction orientation. Combined with wireless sensor technology, multiple sensors are deployed to design the spatial layout of the smart agricultural park from two aspects of spatial zoning and sightseeing routes, and natural resources, human resources and park facilities are included in the design. Finally, the design results of the smart agricultural park are obtained. The concept of environmental psychology is applied to the practical design of intelligent agricultural park. Through the comparison, it is found that the application of environmental psychology can better meet the viewing needs of tourists, and the comprehensive score is also improved.

They have some limitations like energy that usually provide by battery and storages in order that we cannot save any generated data. The most energy consumer of sensors is transmitting. Sensor networks generate immense amount of data. They send collected data to the sink node for storage to response to users queries. Data storage has become an important issue in sensor networks as a large amount of collected data need to be archived for future information retrieval. The rapid development and deployment of sensor technology is intensifying the existing problem of too much data and not enough knowledge. Sensory data comes from multiple sensors of different modalities in distributed locations. In this chapter we investigate some major issues with respect to data storages of sensor networks that can be used for disaster management more efficiently.

Today there are numerous examples of collaborative online communities effectively creating innovative products (e.g., RepRap, Linux). But the potential of anonymous crowds to also engage in generative design, through the aggregation of many small contributions, is less clear. Although in recent years the “power of the crowd” has been repeatedly demonstrated in areas that range from image labelling to linguistic translation. The application of crowdsourcing in the fields of design research and creative innovation has been much slower to emerge. As a result, although there have been reports of systems and researchers using Internet crowdsourcing to carry out generative design, there are still many gaps in knowledge about the capability and limitations of the technology. For example on commercial crowdsourcing platforms, the relationship between remuneration and the final quality of designs has not been established, so it is unclear how much payment should be offered in order to ensure a particular standard of result. Key to investigating the relationship between the crowd’s remuneration and the value of their innovation is a robust method for quantifying the quality of the designs produced. This paper reports how payment for a design task (a 2D layout problem) was systematically varied and the quality of the output assessed through a separate crowdsourcing process. The work provides some interesting and valuable insight into how Crowdsourcing can be most effectively employed in design tasks.

Water resource protection has an important impact on ecosystem security and human survival. Therefore, water quality testing and early warning of the sewage status are getting more and more attention. In order to solve the problems of information transmission delay and insufficient water quality prediction in current water quality monitoring, this paper proposes a wireless sensor-based dynamic water quality monitoring and prediction technology. Firstly, this paper uses the wireless sensor technology and ZigBee protocol to establish a sewage monitoring model and real-time dynamic monitoring of total nitrogen, total phosphorus, ammonia nitrogen, and other indicators of the water quality of the basin. Secondly, on the basis of wireless monitoring, a support vector algorithm is used to construct a water quality prediction model to make a reasonable prediction of the water quality of the watershed. Finally, the actual test results show that the technology can automatically and real-timely monitor the water quality of the watershed to meet the requirements of water quality monitoring in practical applications.

Background: One of the most frequently used medications for treating gastrointestinal disorders is proton pump inhibitor (PPI), which reportedly has potential adverse effects. Although the relationship between the use of PPIs and the risk of pancreatic cancer has been extensively investigated, the results remain inconsistent. Hence, this meta-analysis aimed to evaluate such relationship. Methods: We searched for literature and subsequently included 10 studies (seven case–control and three cohort studies; 948,782 individuals). The pooled odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence intervals (CI) for pancreatic cancer were estimated using a random-effects model. We also conducted sensitivity analysis and subgroup analysis. Results: The pooled OR of the meta-analysis was 1.698 (95% CI: 1.200–2.402, p = 0.003), with a substantial heterogeneity (I2 = 98.75%, p < 0.001). Even when studies were excluded one by one, the pooled OR remained statistically significant. According to the stratified subgroup analyses, PPI use, and pancreatic cancer incidence were positively associated, regardless of the study design, quality of study, country, and PPI type. Conclusion: PPI use may be associated with the increased risk of pancreatic cancer. Hence, caution is needed when using PPIs among patients with a high risk of pancreatic cancer.

: A Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is an effective sensing technology that is used to replicate the human capability of sensing, collecting, computing, processing and transmitting the data that is collected from a very large area. In recent past, sensor technology has shown tremendous development in the field of environment & health monitoring, military surveillance, vehicle tracking, and detection. The participating sensor nodes are prone to failure because of limited resources. The topology of the networks is highly dynamic in nature because of frequent failure of the sensor nodes. The Quality of Service support to highly dynamic networks is one of the challenging tasks. The dynamic nature, unpredictable topology, the demand of miniature size of the devices, tiny size of sensors and limited resources attract the researchers towards the designing of QoS aware protocols. This paper has discussed the architecture, applications, life cycle and types of WSN. Further, various QoS protocols, their limitations, and challenges have also been discussed. Further, this paper presents the most important open issues and challenges in providing QoSs provisioning to the WSN as QoS routing, energy consumption, bandwidth utilization, security, and mobility. This comprehensive review surely helps the researchers to find the new existing challenges and also help them to design new research problems for their future work.

Abstract. Recently, Garfinkel and Critchley (2013) proposed to distinguish between three facets of interoception: interoceptive sensibility, interoceptive accuracy, and interoceptive awareness. This pilot study investigated how these facets interrelate to each other and whether interoceptive awareness is related to the metacognitive awareness of memory performance. A sample of 24 healthy students completed a heartbeat perception task (HPT) and a memory task. Judgments of confidence were requested for each task. Participants filled in questionnaires assessing interoceptive sensibility, depression, anxiety, and socio-demographic characteristics. The three facets of interoception were found to be uncorrelated and interoceptive awareness was not related to metacognitive awareness of memory performance. Whereas memory performance was significantly related to metamemory awareness, interoceptive accuracy (HPT) and interoceptive awareness were not correlated. Results suggest that future research on interoception should assess all facets of interoception in order to capture the multifaceted quality of the construct.
