The importance of the problem of disasters in Indonesia encourages the integration of disaster mitigation into learning in schools. One of the manifestations is the inclusion of disaster mitigation as part of geography subjects. However, the implementation of disaster mitigation learning still experiences several obstacles related to the use of instructional media that are less interactive. This study intended to determine the learning outcomes using the media-assisted inquiry model Google Earth Pro on the material of landslide disaster mitigation and adaptation. This research was conducted at the high school level in Magelang District by taking a sample of the MA (Islamic Senior High School) in Magelang Regency. The variables of this study are the Google Earth Pro and Powerpoint media as independent variables and student learning outcomes as the dependent variable. Data collection techniques used in this study were tests and questionnaires. Researcher used the t-test as a data analysis technique. Student learning outcomes of the experimental class increased by 0.34% while the learning outcomes of the control class experienced an increase of 0.2% and categorized into low criteria. Based on the Independent sample test in the equal variances, assumed section, it could be seen that the Sig. (2-tailed) is .001. This shows that there is a difference between the learning outcomes of two different types of media. The Google Earth Pro-based media has a higher influence on student learning outcomes.

This research was conducted to produce a learning model for geology learning at the Vocational High School level. The learning model is generated by utilizing the development of geospatial technology, namely Google Earth. This research also aims to; (1) disclose student learning outcomes before and after using the Google Earth-based learning model; (2) developing a scientific learning model based on Google Earth; (3) testing the effectiveness of the resulting model. This research is a Research and Development (RD) research conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Binuang in September 2019. The research subjects were 27 students of class XII Mining Geology. Research data obtained from instruments in the form of questionnaires, observation sheets and student learning outcomes which are a combination of performance scores and project values. Data analysis using; lesson content analysis, product development feasibility analysis, and effectiveness analysis using the Wilcoxson signed ranks test. The results showed that; (1) the value of student learning outcomes at posttest was higher than at pretest; (2) Google Earth-based scientific learning model has six learning steps; and (3) The significance value with the Wilcoxson signed ranks test shows the number 0.000 which, if interpreted, means that the Google Earth scientific-based learning model is effectively used. This model is proven effective in lessons that have material in the form of spatial data (spatial reference). Keywords: Learning Model; scientific; Google Earth; Learning Outcomes

In the 21st century education demands the creation of quality students. One of the methods used is to apply formative assessment in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of formative assessment based on student learning outcomes, education level, learning materials, and integration used. In this study using a literature study (library research) with a literature review approach. The articles used are in the 2015-2020 range. The results of this study are: 1) the use of formative tests can improve various student learning outcomes where the most measured is the understanding/mastery of concepts, 2) the application of formative assessments is more widely used at the junior high school level compared to the high school level, 3) the application of formative assessments in science learning and physics consists of various materials which indicate formative assessment is often used in learning, and 4) there are various kinds of integration used in formative assessment where the most widely used is integrating formative assessment with the web.

This study aims to determine how much influence the quality of learning media and interest in learning towards the learning outcomes at senior high school level. The method used was a survey with the correlational approach. This study used path analysis techniques (Path Analysis). The results showed that the magnitude of the quality of learning media (X1) which directly affected the outcome of learning was 0.4092 = 0.167 or 16.7%, the influence of learning interest (X2) which directly affected the outcome of learning was 0.3552 = 0.126 or 12.6%, and the influence of the quality of learning media (X1) on learning outcomes (Y) moderated by the interest in learning (X2) was 0.154 or 15.4%. The influence of media quality and interest in learning altogether towards student learning outcomes can be seen from the coefficient of determination (R2), at 0.421, showing that the variation in student learning outcomes can be explained by the quality of learning media and learning interest, at 42.1%, while the other 57.9% was determined by other factors which were not examined. Simultaneously, the strength of the relation between the variable of learning media quality, learning interest and learning outcomes was strong, amounting for 0.649.

abstract: Mathematics is a subject that is still considered difficult by some students. This is because, mathematics is always associated with calculations, formulas, and graphics. In addition there is material in mathematics that is abstract. So students must imagine something abstract in order to understand the material. For this reason, students need intermediaries who make it easy to understand something abstract. This intermediary is called learning media. Based on interviews with mathematics teachers at MTs Miftahul Ulum Ngembal and PGRI Tutur Islamic Middle School, the procurement of mathematics learning media is still lacking. The learning media used are worksheets. The appearance of worksheets is not very interesting and only contains a summary of material and questions, making students less motivated to learn worksheets. They study when the test will be held. This causes learning outcomes, especially mathematics is still low, with a KKM value of 6.5. Problems faced by MTs. Miftahul Ulum Ngembal and PGRI Tutur Islamic Middle School are: a) Lack of learning media that attracts students' attention. b) Lack of student learning motivation in learning mathematics, especially Linear Equation of One Variable. c) Student learning outcomes are low, namely with KKM 6.5. d) Lack of student understanding of algebra material, especially the system of linear equations of one variable. This is because this material is material that has just been received at the junior high school level. The solution offered is to provide Mathematics Comic Training for students of PGRI Tutur Islamic Middle School and MTs Mifathul Ulum Ngembal. This training aims to increase student learning motivation which will have an impact on student learning outcomes. This training will be held in 2 meetings so as not to disturb the learning and teaching process. In practice, students will be divided into groups. Each group will be given a mathematical comic that contains material about one variable linear equations and questions related to one variable linear equations.

This research aims to find out the influence between communication skills of Senior High School Teachers (SMA) in improving student learning outcomes in Majene Regency. This research uses descriptive quantitative method using an instrument that is a questionnaire (written question) sourced from teaching staff at the Senior High School Level in the Majene Regency Area to obtain primary data. Secondary data in this study were obtained from the results of field documentation by researchers. The results showed that the improvement in communication skills of teachers is in line with the increase in the quality of student learning outcomes and has a close significance relationship between the two. Thus, the higher the Knowledge, Skill, and Motivation components of teacher communication skills will be directly proportional to the quality of student learning outcomes and have a positive and strong influence.

The main problem in education today is the lack of effectiveness in the learning process. This can be seen from the average student learning outcomes which are always still low. Especially for vocational high school students who emphasize learning skills in order to produce work-ready graduates, but it is inversely proportional to the facts in the field. Low learning outcomes are indicated because the learning conditions are still conventional (lectures, practicum, and discussions) where teachers are still a source of learning (teacher centered). This study aims to determine the effect of the project based blended learning model on learning outcomes of vocational high school students. This research was conducted through a literature review and relevant research results and was continued through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). From the research it was found that there was a significant positive influence between the variable model of project based blended learning and student learning outcomes, which means that student learning outcomes can be improved through the application of a project based blended learning model.
