This study was conducted to provide a philosophical and ethical description of the development of genetics and genomics nursing science and the importance of its incorporation into nursing education in Indonesia. Researchers have adopted five of the seven steps of the Heideggerian hermeneutics. All data has been obtained from literature research. The qualitative analysis of secondary data has applied the data analysis. The Coherence theory of truth criteria has been applied to maintain the consistency of scientific truth. The consistent statement system has used the principle of logic as a guide to interpreting the facts and opinions of others adequately. Nursing genetics and genomics is an ethical, philosophical product of nursing science development and a new scope of science as an adaptation to global health issues. The areas of science in nursing need to be developed further by placing genetics and genomics issues that can be adapted into the curriculum of the nursing higher education curriculum in Indonesia.   Keywords: Education; Ethics; Genetics; Genomics; Philosophy

Discovery of the genetics/genomics underpinnings of health, risk for disease, sickness, and treatment response have the prospects of improving recognition and management of at risk individuals; improving screening, prognostics, and therapeutic decision-making; expanding targeted therapies; and improving the accuracy of medication dosing and selection based on drug metabolism genetic variation. Thus, genetics/genomics science, information, and technologies infl uence the entire health care continuum and are fundamental to the nursing profession. Translating the benefi ts of genetics and genomics into health care requires that nurses are knowledgeable about and able to integrate this information and technology into their practice. This chapter explores the development of essential nursing competences in genetics and genomics and outcome indicators. Included is an overview of projects aimed at measuring and/or supporting adoption and integration of such competencies. Included as well is an update reviewing current evidence of the state of genomics nursing education in the United States and recommendations for next steps.

Considerable sex and gender bias has been recognized within the field of medicine. Investigators have used sex and gender analysis to reevaluate studies and outcomes and generate new perspectives and new questions regarding differential diagnoses and treatments of men and women. Sex and gender analysis acts as an experimental control to provide critical scientific rigor; researchers who ignore it risk ignoring a possible source of error in past, current, and future science. In this article, the authors introduce some tools of sex and gender analysis and illustrate the concept of gendered innovations by demonstrating through examples how this type of analysis has profoundly enhanced human knowledge in health and disease. The authors also provide recommendations for incorporating the concepts of sex and gender analysis into nursing education and research.

Banking is a very important part in the economy, one of them as intermediary institutions whose duty to collect funds from the public and then channel them back in the form of financing. This study aims to determine the effect Number of DPK, NPF and SBIS partially to finance portfolio of Islamic banking in Indonesia, and to determine the effect Number of DPK, NPF and SBIS simultaneously to the finance portfolio of Islamic banking in Indonesia. This study proceed from the assumption that (1) the size distribution of the funds offered by Islamic banks is very influenced by the size DPK means that the higher the number of third-party funds collected, the higher also finance portfolio, (2) the higher non-performing financing the worse the quality of banking assets, (3) the higher the bonus level set SBIS Indonesian bank will lower the financing undertaken by the banking Shari'ah. But based on data from Islamic banking statistics from the years 2008-2014 there is a gap between theory and facts on the ground. These assumptions are tested empirically so that the truth can be scientifically recognized. When there is a justification or rejection of these assumptions, then this is a scientific truth that can be considered Islamic banking in Indonesia.Quantitative research methods in this study using research formats explanation, source data used in this research is secondary data, then the type of data used in this research is quantitative data time series, the quarterly data of financing, deposits, NPF and SBIS Islamic banking in Indonesia from 2008 to 2014. Data were then processed by means of statistical analysis using Eviews 7, which comprises the classical assumption of them: normality test, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test. statistical tests include: regression, t test, F test and R2.The conclusion that can be drawn from this study that partially, DPK variable is positive and significant effect on the financing, NPF variable is negative but not significant effect on the financing, while SBIS is negative and significant effect on the financing. Then simultaneously the number of DPK, NPF and SBIS significant effect on the distribution of funding. Those variables could explain freely by 99.45% and the remaining 0.55% can be explained by other variables not examined.

Clinical experience process that follows clinical practices in nursing education gives students the chance of a transition fromtheory to practice as well as from being student to being a professional. Educators in particular, nurses and other health careworkers, universities and students bear important responsibilities in clinical education affected by physical setting andschool-hospital collaboration so that the nursing students can be educated in the best way. To this end; e and f articles of 9 thclause and an article of 5 th clause were enacted under Nursing Code dated 03.2010 and numbered 27515. However; thesearticles do not include an explicit and sufficient explanation about how clinical nurse, student nurse and hospitalmanagement should approach these responsibilities. The aim of the researchers is to point out that problems can be noticedmore easily and analyzed more appropriately by the experts in each law and code to be enacted by governments and thusmore systematic and effective results can be achieved.   Keywords: Education, clinical practice, learning strategies nursing policy

Nursing educators are challenged to include nursing theory in all levels of curricula when faced with many influences and requirements competing for course content, placement, and credit. Some of the essential influences and content, such as quality, safety, evidence-based practice, and research methods are important. However, the critical emphasis on theory and its relationship to practice and research must be preserved. This article addresses the influences that may threaten this relationship at the baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral levels of nursing education. Strategies are offered to ensure nurse educators continue to offer appropriate nursing theory content to advance both nursing science and practice.

An exploratory, descriptive and phenomenological research design was utilised and individual interviews were conducted with the ten students in the research hospital. A content analysis was conducted and the results revealed both positive and negative experiences by the students in the internal and external worlds. The recommendations include the formulation of standards for clinical accompaniment of students. the evaluation of the quality of clinical accompaniment of students and empowerment of the organisation, clinical accompanists/mentors and clinicians.
