Background: Competency is a set of job-related knowledge, skills, personality traits, interests, and experiences that enable the holder to perform tasks and responsibilities at an above-average level. Since the Holy Quran and hadiths emphasize the principle of selecting the most competent people according to specific characteristics and skills, there is a need to define the needed competencies for selecting efficient and capable managers. Based on this, the general and specialized competencies of managers were extracted from the valuable sources including the Quran and Nahj al-Balagha. Method: In this qualitative developmental study, the qualitative content analysis research method was conducted to investigate the texts of the Holy Quran and Nahj al-Balagha using a Quranic-narrative approach to extract the characteristics of competent managers. Results: After extracting all concepts (354) and classifying them, we finally achieved 21 competencies and placed them in consecutive classifications (3 stages of codification, preparation, and summarization) in 2 groups of general and specialized competencies. Conclusion: According to the Islamic criteria in selecting managers of an Islamic society, these competencies should be considered using a systemic approach.

This article aims to describe the correlations among intertextuality, hypogram, and transformation in the existing Saga of the Prophet Lot (hereinafter abbreviated as HNL) with the Story of the Prophet Lot (hereinafter abbreviated KNL) in the Holy Quran and also its correlations to the LGBT phenomenon in Indonesia.The problems in this article, that is (1) What is the intertextual relationship between HNL and KNL in the Holy Quran?, (2) How are the similarities and differences of HNL and KNL in the Holy Quran?, (3) What are the background creation of HNL? This article wants to prove that the ancient manuscript entitled HNL is a hypogram and transformation of the KNL contained in the Holy Quran.The method used in this article is content analysis because the authors intend to interpret the events contained in the HNL and then trace the Intertekstualnya relationship with the KNL found in the Holy Quran.In this article the similarities and differences in the two objects that will be examined are explained properly.This HNL script has similarities with KNL in the Holy Quran such as Prophet Lot was instructed by Allah SWT to preach his people such as about leaving their indecent behaviors; the arrival of the Angels at Prophet Lot’s home, Prophet Lot was expelled by his people, and punishment for the Sodomites. The differences only lie in the beginning of the story and at the end of the story of Prophet Lot.  Artikel ini bertujuan memaparkan hubungan intertekstual, hipogram, dan transformasi pada naskah Hikayat Nabi Lot (yang selanjutnya disingkat HNL) dengan Kisah Nabi Lot (yang selanjutnya disingkat KNL) dalam Alquran dan juga kaitannya dengan fenomena LGBT di Indonesia. Permasalahan dalam artikel ini, yaitu (1) Bagaimana hubungan intertekstual antara HNL dengan KNL dalam Alquran?, (2) Bagaimana persamaan dan perbedaan HNL dan KNL dalam Alquran?, (3) Apa yang menjadi latar belakang penciptaan HNL? Artikel ini membuktikan bahwa naskah kuno yang berjudul HNL merupakan hipogram dan transformasi dari KNL yang terdapat dalam Alquran. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah analisis konten karena penulis bermaksud menafsirkan peristiwa yang terdapat dalam HNL dan kemudian menelusuri hubungan intertekstualnya dengan KNL yang terdapat dalam Alquran. Artikel ini menjelaskan tentang persamaan dan perbedaan pada kedua objek yang akan di kaji. Naskah HNL memiliki persamaan dengan KNL dalam Alquran. The Qur’an contains about eighteen verses that refer to the architecture of the earth. Nearly two hundred elements (terminologies) of architecture and town planning have been mentioned in the Quran. This paper aims to present examples from the Quran to shed light on the Islamic vision of architecture and art. It uses content analysis method to achieve the objective of the research. The analysis is done by studying and discussing verses of the Holy Quran, which is related to architecture and urbanism. One of the most important results of this research is to give distinct architectural and urban examples, include the following: building materials, environmental architecture, houses of insects, visual illusions in architecture, and the centrality of Mecca to the world. All of them is explained in the Qur’an verses, such as Al-Baqarah, An-Naml, An-Nahl, Al-Kahf, and Al-Fajr.

The objectives of this study were: (1) To find out whether textbook used by second grade students at SD IT UMMI Kota Bengkulu fulfill the criteria of a good textbook. (2) To find out whether the English textbook used by second grade students at SD IT UMMI Kota Bengkulu relevant to KTSP curriculum. This research used descriptive qualitative content analysis as its research method. The data were collected from the English student book “Let’s Make Friends with English” for second grade students. The results showed that English textbook entitled “Let’s make friends with English” used by second grade students at SD IT UMMI Kota Bengkulu have fulfilled the criteria of a good textbook by achieving the Fair fulfillment. The textbook was categorized relevance to the KTSP curriculum, but the activities in the listening can be said irrelevant because they cannot cover the learning objectives in listening. It was then recommended that the teachers need to modify the tasks and activities on the textbook which did not fulfill the criteria of good textbook, especially in the area of accompanying materials (CD, Cassettes and pictures), language skill, and teach ability aspects.

Abstract Introduction: The challenges of living with and taking care of a patient with schizophrenia can lead to positive changes depending on the experiences and reactions of the families. Such changes may directly affect the family performance and the patient's recovery stage. Therefore, the aim of this study was to explain the positive experiences reported by families of patients with schizophrenia.Materials and methods: In this qualitative study of content analysis, data were collected using semi-structured and in-depth interviews with 15 family members of patients with schizophrenia who referred to one of the psychiatric hospitals in Zahedan City, Iran. Targeted sampling method was applied and data analysis was conducted using contractual content analysis proposed by Graneheim and Lundman.Results: Data analysis resulted in a theme entitled 'family achievements in the battle with schizophrenia'. This theme included four main categories of: Developing positive personality traits in family members, Strengthening family ties, Developing insight into life, and Social mobility.Conclusion: The findings provided evidences that the experience of taking care of patients with schizophrenia led to positive consequences for the families.Highlights- Caring for a patient with schizophrenia promotes personality traits in caregivers- Participating in patient care strengthens family ties- Living with schizophrenia patients developed their insight into life.- Family members of a schizophrenic patient try to reach their previous social status

The present study attempts to examine the referring expressions in Chapter 30 (Amma part) of the Holy Qur'an. It aims at identifying the referring expressions of Paradise and Hell involved in Amma part in particular. The study also attempts to investigate which of the two entities (Paradise and Hell) of the referring expressions have been referred to more. The study implements quantitative and qualitative methods to classify and analyse the referring expressions. In order to classify and describe the referring expressions, a content analysis checklist is utilized to categorize the referring expressions. The findings of the study reveal that there are 54 referring expressions of Paradise and Hell in Amma part, where 35 referring expressions refer to Hell representing 65%, and 19 referring expressions refer to Paradise representing 35%. The findings reveal that the referring expressions of Paradise and Hell contribute significantly to persuading people to follow the teaching of Islam in order to go to Paradise and dissuading them from rejecting them, ending up in Hell.

One of the destructive and important harms that is always in the forefront of any Islamic society is accepting the guardianship of the infidel enemies. Believers at first glance believe that the infidels do not have guardianship over them, but sometimes the infidels' guardianship over them is achieved through the intangible "induction of friendship and friendly relations with infidels." and The Holy Qur'an states this in Surah Al-Mumtahanah 'and Allah's prohibition from these friendly relations, the committing of which is considered disobedience to divine commands and sin. Since structural interpretation plays an important role in understanding the divine verses and applying the teachings of the Holy Quran, the structural interpretation of Surah Al-Mumtahanah 'was used to show Allah has not limited himself to the introduction of sin of, "accepting the guardianship of the infidel enemies through friendly relations with them. And in order to protect society and prevent that sin, he has stated the Insight, tendency and action strategies in the text of Surah Al-Mumtahanah.

The Qur'an has brought the spirit of literacy since the beginning of Islam, from that spirit then made Muslims recorded in world history as people who have created a superior civilization that became the mecca of science. This paper seeks to describe more complexly the spirit of literacy in the Qur'an from various aspects ranging from theological, historical, and sociological reviews. The research method used is literature with content analysis through interpretation of meaning. This article is a discourse study to dig deeper into the literacy spirit that needs to be applied in Islamic society. As a result, there are many verses in the Qur'an that command literacy by mentioning literacy tools and inviting mankind to think deeply, seek knowledge, and make bookkeeping a tradition. The scope of literacy is very broad, starting from reading, observing, researching, understanding, analyzing, criticizing, and so on.

The research aims to examine the theoretical aspects of administrative and territorial reform as well as to identify the attitudes of Latgale region residents to implementing the new administrative and territorial reform. The following research methods were employed: qualitative content analysis; analysis of legislative enactments and legal documents; a sociological research method – a survey was conducted to identify the opinions and assessments of Latgale residents about the new administrative and territorial reform; descriptive statistics and the graphical method. The research examined theoretical aspects regarding the division of territory into administrative units as well as the concept and definitions of a municipality as an administrative unit. The research analysed the results of the survey of Latgale region residents and identified the respondents’ assessments of implementing the new administrative and territorial reform.

In the types of words there is a chapter on numerals and their kinayah. It is widely used in Arabic, either in conversation or in Arabic texts. The purpose in this research is to describe the number words and their kinayah, as well as the form of the number word phrase and the position of the number word and its kinayah in the verse of the holy Quran. The type in this research is library research with a content analysis design (adapted from Krippendorf) because it is based on the data sources in this study in the form of documents. The primary data in this study was the holy Quran and the secondary data in this study were taken from books related to the research. And the results of this study, 1. Quantity of number word 37 words in the Quran 2. Quantity of kinayah number in the Quran 4 words 3. Quantity of  position number 17 verse in the Quran 4. Quantity of position kinayah number 6 verse in the Quran.

The theory of de-familiarization was first introduced in the field of literature and later due to its consistency and maturity, it was also studied in other fields and branches of art. The basis of interactive graphics is based on inviting the audience in the process of forming the work, and the de- familiarization technique can provide a platform for more creativity and interaction. The purpose of this study is to identify ways to create creativity through de-familiarization techniques and the role of the audience in interactive graphics. The question of what interactive graphics is and why they are formed is one of the issues that this research seeks to address. The main question of this article is how interactive graphics can create creative works to attract the audience through the familiarization technique? To achieve the desired goals, a qualitative research method with a descriptive-analytical nature was adopted and the studied works, which were collected through library resources, were analyzed by qualitative content analysis.  The results showed that interactive graphic designers can create more creative and interactive works in the field of graphics through various methods of de- familiarization.
