Introduction: Relaxation is a set of neuromuscular exercises that helps the mothers to go through pregnancy and different stages of labor with minimal complications. Various studies have been performed on the effect of different relaxation methods on problems and disorders in pregnancy and childbirth. The aim of this study was to systematically review the studies on the effects of various methods of relaxation in pregnancy and childbirth in Iran and the world. The IRCT Clinical Trial Registration Center and Keywords for Relaxation, Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Maternity were searched from 2000 to 2020. Finally, 40 trials including 21 Persian articles and 19 Latin articles that met the inclusion criteria were reviewed. There were 21 studies on relaxation during pregnancy and 19 studies on labor and postpartum. Studies have shown that the number of studies performed in the field of passive rest (in pregnancy-childbirth) was limited, but in the field of active rest and the simultaneous use of several types of rest (in pregnancy-childbirth) was numerous. Conclusion: The results showed that the use of progressive active muscle relaxation alone, due to its ease and comprehensibility can be used as a practical method in reducing problems and disorders during pregnancy and childbirth. therefore, the simultaneous use of several types of relaxation (active-inactive) due to the increase of positive effects of relaxation can be used in the next step.

BACKGROUND The COVID-19 outbreak has affected the elderly's physical and mental health. The application of information and communication technology, such as mobile health (m-health), can play a significant role in combating this pandemic by changing the behavior and lifestyle of the elderly during this time of crisis. OBJECTIVE This systematic review aimed to synthesize m-health capabilities in providing health services to the elderly during the COVID-19 pandemic, and to identify the factors associated with the success of these tools. METHODS To find the relevant studies, a search was conducted in PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, ProQuest, and Google Scholar. The inclusion criteria were: studies in English that used m-health intervention in all aspects of elderly healthcare during the COVID-19 outbreak, published in peer-reviewed journals from 31 December 2019, and had any research design and methodology. Two authors independently took all the steps of this review, and finally performed narrative synthesis to report the findings. RESULTS Our initial search identified 421 studies, of which 10 met the inclusion criteria. The data analysis showed that all the m-health interventions had positive effects on the health of the elderly. The m-health services for the elderly during the current pandemic were used for therapy, information provision, self-help, monitoring, and mental health consultation purposes. The results also indicated that various factors affected the elderly's use of m-health tools. CONCLUSIONS The application of m-health keeps the elderly and healthcare providers safe, accelerates health service provision, reduces the costs of service delivery, and decreases the risk of morbidity and mortality during the COVID-19 outbreak. The successful use of m-health tools for the elderly in health programs during the current crisis greatly depends on supporting the elderly and overcoming the barriers.

Abstract: Hemoglobin (Hb) is a parameter used to determine anemia prevalence. The average level of normal Hb at the end of pregnancy is around 12.5 g/dL, meanwhile, aproximately 5% of pregnant women have Hb level less than 11.0 g/dL. To date, Hb level below 11.0 g/dL especially at the end of pregnancy should be considered as an abnormal phenomenon and is usually caused by iron deficiency and not by hypervolemia which is commonly found in pregnancy. This study was aimed to determine the hemoglobin level of third semester pregnant women in Robert Wolter Mongisidi Hospital Manado. This was a descriptive study with a cross sectional design. Subjects were 39 third semester pregnant women who visited the Obstetric Department of Robert Wolter Mongisidi Hospital and fulfilled the inclusion criteria. The results showed that 25 subjects (64.1%) had low hemoglobin levels and 14 subjects (35.9%) had normal level of hemoglobin. In conclusion, most third semester pregnant women had low hemoglobin levels.

BACKGROUND Individuals experiencing psychosis are at a disproportionate risk for premature disengagement from clinical treatment. Barriers to clinical engagement typically result from funding constraints causing limited access to and flexibility in services. Digital strategies, such as SMS text messaging, offer a low-cost alternative to potentially improve engagement. However, little is known about the efficacy of SMS text messaging in psychosis. OBJECTIVE This review aimed to address this gap, providing insights into the relationship between SMS text messaging and clinical engagement in the treatment of psychosis. METHODS Studies examining SMS text messaging as an engagement strategy in the treatment of psychosis were reviewed. Included studies were published from the year 2000 onward in the English language, with no methodological restrictions, and were identified using 3 core databases and gray literature sources. RESULTS Of the 233 studies extracted, 15 were eligible for inclusion. Most studies demonstrated the positive effects of SMS text messaging on dimensions of engagement such as medication adherence, clinic attendance, and therapeutic alliance. Studies examining the feasibility of SMS text messaging interventions found that they are safe, easy to use, and positively received. CONCLUSIONS Overall, SMS text messaging is a low-cost, practical method of improving engagement in the treatment of psychosis, although efficacy may vary by symptomology and personal characteristics. Cost-effectiveness and safety considerations were not adequately examined in the studies included. Future studies should consider personalizing SMS text messaging interventions and include cost and safety analyses to appraise readiness for implementation. CLINICALTRIAL

The goal of this research was to evaluate seropositivity to HSV-1 among pregnant women and its effect on the course of pregnancy, childbirth and the condition of newborns. Methods: The serological status, socio-demographic characteristics, parity of pregnancy and childbirth and condition of newborns in women seronegative and seropositive to HSV-1 with recurrent infection and its latent course during pregnancy were analyzed. Newborns from these mothers made up the corresponding groups. Results: Low titers of IgG antibodies to HSV-1 in women in the first trimester of pregnancy are associated with threatened miscarriage, anemia in pregnancy and chronic placental insufficiency. High titers of IgG antibodies to HSV-1 in women in the second trimester of pregnancy are associated with late miscarriages and premature births, anemia in pregnancy, chronic placental insufficiency, labor anomalies, early neonatal complications (cerebral ischemia, respiratory distress syndrome) and localized skin rashes. Low titers of IgG antibodies to HSV-1 in women in the third trimester of pregnancy are associated with premature birth, anemia in pregnancy, chronic placental insufficiency, endometritis, complications of the early neonatal period and localized skin rashes. Conclusions: Our research showed that low or high titers of IgG antibodies to HSV-1, determined by the timing of recurrence of infection during pregnancy, are associated with a high incidence of somatic pathology and complications in pregnancy, childbirth and the neonatal period.
