The purpose of this article is to explore the potential value added to the concept of value co-creation applied to the tourism sector and to investigate how tourists can conceive their participation through the Internet in the design of their trip with tourist producers. To do so, a survey was conducted on tourists in Morocco who have never used this practice which still does not exist locally. The objective behind this choice is to explore whether this new approach will raise the interest of the tourists and be accepted as an innovative way to live differently the tourist experience. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that Moroccan tourists – by using the Internet – think they can create value by being involved in the process which makes them satisfied. It would be stimulating as a future research to test tourists’ satisfaction after living an experience they really co-created. After all, co-creation is still a new concept in tourism that will be developed through further research and become a real trend. Especially tourists are currently looking for meaning, support, interaction, involvement, participation, authenticity, personalization of offers and unique experience. This article opens up new paths of research and allows tourist producers to know the future trends in this sector.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to categorize network neutrality according to its issues under debate and assess the state of the debate based on such organization. In addition, the study discusses the reasons that network neutrality is so difficult to solve and the future research directions that would do so. Design/methodology/approach This study presents a critical review of the current network neutrality issues and summarizes the economic background of each position in the debate. The relevant literature is organized by issue to examine the reasons that the network neutrality debate is so difficult to solve and determine the further study required to solve it. Findings An analysis of the relevant literature suggests that the proponents and opponents of network neutrality disagree on the best methods of developing the Internet. Therefore, future research and regulatory and practitioners’ applications would greatly benefit from a comprehensive review of that literature. Originality/value Network neutrality regulation is receiving increased attention because the development and significant influences of the Internet are becoming more apparent.

In a rapidly changing world, continuous adoption of new practices is crucial for survival; organizations embracing the latest technologies have a competitive edge. Smart organizations readily take on board new organizational forms and practices, those in particular that offer agility and responsiveness. The Internet and the World Wide Web offer a new way of collaboration via Web services, but heterogeneity of different service components make cooperation difficult. This chapter describes a new approach to combine Web services by employing a layered structure, in which composition of a value-added service can be built from individual components, and each service component can have semantically equivalent but syntactically different alternatives.

Although Virtual Reality technology was first developed almost sixty years ago, there has been little survey work giving an overview on how research in VR, AR and MR evolved in Brazil along with their future trends. We provide such analysis by reviewing the development made since the first WRV event, back in 1997, until SVR 2020. The first 22 event editions may help understand how the area was explored and provide a roadmap for future research. The 609 full papers analyzed were compiled into an open catalog, available on the internet. It features important filter capabilities, enabling the quick selection of papers based on citation number, conference topic, area of application, user experiments, statistical analysis and so on. We hope this tool to be of great value to the field, and also for helping researchers decide which topics should be explored when they are beginning their own studies in the area. In this analysis, we also refer to the most frequent authors in the area and how they contributed to the field based on their expertise and research group.

The publication of the Brundtland report in 1987 introduced the concept of sustainable development, placing “sustainability” as a unifying idea for all academic disciplines. Consequently, in the tourism sector, sustainable tourism emerged as a new approach to research in the field. Since then, the body of literature on sustainable tourism has only increased, as has the discussion around the conceptual structure of sustainable tourism among academics and professionals. The aim of the study is to complement this theoretical discussion with an inductive approach to the limits of the conceptual structure of sustainable tourism. To do so, we identify the main research topics in the field and their evolution in the past 32 years through bibliometric methods such as evaluative techniques, relational techniques, and visualization of bibliometric data techniques using the VOSviewer program. The results of the study reflect that the sustainable tourism has reached a complexity that is reflected in its current polyhedral content to function as a conceptual umbrella. In addition, it demonstrates that the bibliometric analysis is an adequate and useful methodology for academics and professionals involved in the academic debate around this field of knowledge.

This study focuses on results of a facsimile survey sent to value-added wood producers across Canada on their levels of Internet readiness and electronic business (e-Business) adoption. In addition, attitudinal information was collected with respect to companies' willingness to use the Internet as a business tool to facilitate exchange along the supply chain. Findings indicate that, while the use of the Internet is relatively commonplace, the Canadian value-added wood products sector has yet to embrace high level e-Business tools on a wide scale. However, there is a willingness to do so and results clearly point to the fact that most manufacturers expect the Internet to become increasingly important in the context of day-to-day business applications. Key words: value-added wood products, Internet, e-Business, e-Commerce

The revenue collected from the value added tax constitutes the main income of the Kosovo government. For this reason, this research has a great importance in the formulation of effective policies in Kosovo that will subsequently improve the efficiency of tax collection of Value Added and growing fiscal and budgetary stability. This research it will have a descriptive analysis of the trends of VAT collection in Kosovo from 2005- 2015 years using different analytical techniques to examine trends and data structure over the years. We have used two types of analysis; One is the descriptive analysis of trends and the other is the contrast of the descriptive analysis of trends that is the econometric technique used to analyze the VAT effect on economic growth in Kosovo. The source of data for this study is secondary through the Annual Financial Report of the Ministry of Finance of Kosovo and the IMF. In order to analyze the data generated for the study, the statistical tool utilized is OLS technique (multiple regression). One of the key findings in the collection of VAT has been its dependence on the border. Revenue collection is among the most pressing problems and such situation does not guarantee a country's budgetary stability. Also, based on the findings we noted that the VAT share of the gathering in gross domestic product of the Interior of the country has been low compared to other countries in Europe developing, reflecting a low level of economic development. Also from econometric analysis is confirmed that the regression coefficient shows that we have a VAT impact on GDP in Kosovo, because the level of significance is .000, or includes the rate of 1%. Also, the correlation between VAT and GDP shows a strong positive relationship, or statistically interpreted with the increase of VAT, will increase the GDP of Kosovo, these two elements conclude that VAT has a significant impact on economic growth in Kosovo. Furthermore, this research highlight some key issues that policy makers should consider dealing with the collection and effective use of revenue collected from VAT, to improve growth.

The aim of presented paper was to create and subsequently apply the Modified 3D Creditworthy Model (MCWM) of performance reflecting sectoral characteristics and financial specificities of the selected sample of Slovak tour operators over the years 2013 – 2017. The intention of this research study was to implement the key financial indicators and appropriate prediction models into both dimensions of the traditional 2D Creditworthy Model of performance and to supplement its third dimension applying the selected modern assessment methods – the Economic Value Added and the Return On Net Assets as we consider them to be one of the most important indicators of future success and company's financial growth. This modification will help to better identify the current financial position of tour operators and more accurately identify causes that hinder the development of financial performance of the selected sample of enterprises. However, after adjusting the upper and lower quartile averages of a particular industry, this methodology is applicable in the wider context of enterprises, not only those operating in the tourism sector.
