Scientific and practical examinations of pedagogues, educators and teachers are directed to finding the approach, methods and strategies which would motivate students and make them more active in the learning process. One of the ways to achieve this is flipped learning. This article aims to describe some characteristics of flipped learning, and also questions the pedagogic foundation, justification and limits of the usage possibilities and the potential challenges in the implementation of this model into the educational system. The research reports findings based on the trends in flipped learning. By replacing activities carried out in the classroom and at home, students are put into a new situation. A student independently realises the initial contact with the teaching content at home, whereas in the classroom, the activities (with the teacher and other students) that provide understanding and application of the learned are implemented.   Keywords: Education, flipped learning, students, teacher, pedagogic.

A suggestion to School From Home during Covid-19 pandemic made learning process at RA Riyadlotul Uqul, Dusun Lowok, less optimally. Online learning takes place in the form of assignments, and those who haven’t gadgets continue to study at school in turn. The purposes of this service activvity is to develop learning media that is suitbale for the pandemic situation in RA Riyadlotul Uqul. The results of discussions with teachers at that school stated that there were threee suitable media to be developed, animated video, relay stick games, and hand puppets, where all produccts were equipped with user manuals book, so that teacher and parents could easily apply them at home. The product development method adopt ADDIE. The result shows that teacher feels helped by the existance of educational media that is developed, as a variation of teaching techniques, and also build good character for students, which guidebook contains the benefits of using developed media. The teacher, as user, gave suggestions that the video should be uploaded on YouTube, and the guidebook has been copied to make it easier for the teacher to distribute it to the parents of students. The hope is that parents can accompany children to learn while playing at their home.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on all areas of life, including education. The education system, which was originally face-to-face, had to be replaced with online learning. Various problems arise related to the implementation of the Distance Learning or PJJ system. This system makes parents have to participate more in supervising as well as being a substitute for teachers at home in the learning process of their children. In addition, homeschooling also raises problems where students find it difficult to understand the material given by the teacher. The decrease in enthusiasm for learning becomes a problem when the PJJ system seems monotonous and boring. To support the government's program in breaking the chain of the spread of COVID-19 without reducing the effectiveness of online learning implemented by the Ministry of Education and Culture, this activity was carried out. This activity is expected to help reduce the anxiety of parents who are afraid that their children are not serious and have difficulty in learning. In addition, it is hoped that this activity will help participants to easily understand the material that has not been mastered. The methods of socialization, demonstration, and mentoring are carried out directly. The success of this activity can be seen from the assistance of the participants in solving the problems faced and the enthusiasm of the participants during the activity.

Flipping a classroom is not only recording classroom lesson into a video and bringing homework into the classroom. It is a whole new method with a lot better result compared to the traditional method. In western countries such as the US, flipping a classroom is already becoming a new method adopted by many different schools and universities. This paper tries to explore the possibility of flipping a classroom for learning foreign language at BINUS University by comparing it with the recent practices and findings in the western countries. After the analysis it can be concluded that this method can be applied at BINUS University but on several conditions such as the improvement of infrastructures, and the teacher’s awareness and understanding to optimize their understanding about flipped learning.

Abstract Purpose: This article aims to describe English learning in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era. This article also explains the importance of the Internet in the learning process and the importance of parents in the development of students in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era. Research methodology: This study used a descriptive method. Results: This study suggests that parents should motivate their children in this situation because the learning process is carried out at home, and only parents can directly monitor the learning process. Limitations: This study has limitations. It is the information of parents who guide their students in the learning process, especially English Subject in the Covid-19 pandemic. Contribution: The study is beneficial for teachers and parents to conduct a better learning strategy during Covid -19 pandemic.

The aim of this article is to provide some insight on the implementation of a series of values in the educational system. The approach sought is holistic, considering that we weigh the effects of those values not only related to students and teachers, but also to families, government, and school administrators. This approach is new since many values and character education studies are centered on either students or teachers, or both. Also, this article tackles the concept of values and character education, adding the review of several related studies, providing valuable information about the benefits and advantages that this educational model offers based on the expectation that those values must be present in all factors of the learning process. Finally, this article delivers a reflection on those same elements with the goal to use it as a thought-provoking tool to consider more solutions to help students face academic challenges and those related to life.

<p>The publication reflects the qualitative development of construction students' ecological attitude in learning and teaching process in a vocational school. By facilitating the teaching and learning process, developing the content of education, introducing in teaching ecologically-oriented forms of work, methods, approaches and instruments; using the environment as a pedagogical tool and highlighting the important role of teacher as an ecological person in the accentuation of teaching content as students understand it. The author emphasizes the impact of the components of ecological education in the promotion of the reflection on the most essential attitude criteria – knowledge, skills and behaviour. Applying quantitative and qualitative research, the author sums up the experimantally obtained results showing that by the introduction of the components of ecological education, it is possible to foster the development of an ecological person.</p>

Once Dr. Bob Kizlik had said that learning, regardless of how it is defined, is ultimately the responsibility of the learner, not the teacher. Today problem based learning with appropriate use of ICTs has emerged to achieve the objectives of learning in a more effective manner since teaching-learning process has also become learner-centered now. We are moving towards the new techniques of quality teaching by using digital pedagogy, a new way of engaging students with the curriculum. One such instructional strategy of teaching is a flipped class room- a type of blended learning that reverses the traditional learning environment by delivering instructional content, often online, outside of the classroom. Present paper focuses on the significance of using digital pedagogy & flipped classroom in teaching-learning process, which changes homework activities into the classroom thereby, promotes sustainable learning since this is relevant and responsive to students’ needs. The traditional methods of language teaching have always had their roots in the grammar-translation method, used in our educational system for more than 500 years. However, the constant search for updating and the desire to improve the language skills of students has led to a succession of different methods and proposals in a few years with the intention of improving the existing ones. The literature on this subject confirms that there is no perfect approach, but it also shows that the communicative one and the interdisciplinarity in the teaching-learning process of second languages brings good results. The author proposes a holistic interdisciplinary activity for the bilingual early childhood classroom, based on the communicative method. Thus, this chapter presents the elaboration of a musical tale, accompanied by a subsequent audiovisual recording, which will help students to learn a second language in real natural contexts.
