Twenty-eight divorced women participated in the study. The universe of the study consists of divorced women living in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). In this study, criteria-based sampling, which is a purposive sampling method, was used in the determination of the study group. This research was conducted with qualitative data collection technique, and a semi-structured interview form which was developed by the researchers was used as a data collection tool. The interview form which was developed as a data collection tool was given its final version based on expert opinions. The collected data were analysed by means of content analysis. As a result of the analysis of the data, the most important causes for divorce mentioned by women appeared as differences of opinion, lack of interest and financial irresponsibility, whereas the least mentioned causes are age differences and jealousy. The purpose of this study was to determine the talent selection methods applied to athletes involved in different sports branches in Turkey. The research population consisted of 724 volunteer athletes who were active in sports clubs in thirty seven different cities of Turkey. Semi-structured interview form was used as data collection tool. It was determined that no talent test was applied to 512 (70.72%) of 724 athletes who participated in the study and 212 (29.28%) were put to talent test methods by their coaches. Of 212 athletes who were put to talent test, 41 (5.66%) were observed for their physical characteristics, 59 (8.14%) for their competitions, 75 (10.35%) for their basic motor skills (speed, strength, endurance, coordination, balance, flexibility and agility) and 37 (5.11%) for their technical capacities in competitions. As a result; it is estimated that the application of physical, mental, physiological, body composition and genetic tests all together while determining the talent selection in sports will be the most effective method to detect talented athletes.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Murattal Therapy in reducing blood pressure in pregnant women with pre-eclampsia. The design of this study used the Quasy Experiment design with One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. As the population are pregnant women who are diagnosed with pre-eclampsia. 15 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. Data collection tool with an observation sheet and tensimeter. The data collection technique was carried out using the respondent placed in a conditioned room, then listening to the letter of Joseph for 15 minutes using a tape recorder and then his blood pressure was measured. From the 15 respondents after Murotal therapy, the result of a decrease in blood pressure with a statistical test using a paired t-test obtained a p-value of systolic blood pressure of 0,000 and diastolic blood pressure of 0,000. Murattal therapy can stimulate a controlled autonomic nerve and cause secretion of epinephrine and norepinephrine by the controlled adrenal medulla. Control hormones epinephrine and norepinephrine will inhibit the formation of angiotensin which can reduce blood pressure. Surah Yusuf's Murattal Therapy can reduce the blood pressure of pregnant women with pre-eclampsia.

The paper discusses the role of metaphor in the name construction of sea creatures among Akan (Mfantse) people within the purview of onomasiology. The role of metaphor in the naming of sea creatures has been understudied. This paper is a step towards filling the gap by analyzing the role metaphor plays in constructing naming units for sea creatures. This study has a qualitative research design. Twelve (12) fishers were purposely sampled, three (3) each from four fishing towns: Anomabo, Apam, Sekondi (Sekunde) and Moree (Mowure). The data collection tool was a semi-structured interview. The paper finds that likeness between sea creatures and static and/or dynamic entities triggers names for sea creatures. It concludes that, metaphor is employed to achieve simpler forms for salient features, communicate non-codable salient features and condense multiple features in the quest to name sea creatures among the Mfantse people. Through these vital roles, a general metaphor Sea Creatures are Land Animals/Entities is realized. The encyclopedic knowledge, which the Mfantse people have about their environment is realized through their naming strategies. It is recommended that the linguistics of naming percepts in indigenous Akan occupations be explored further.

This study investigates augmented reality (AR) applications on 21st-century skills and basic skills of elementary school students. The research method is determined as a mixed method. The sample group of the research consisted of 62 randomly selected elementary school 4th-grade students. In the experimental group, courses were taught using AR, and in the control group, the lessons were taught with activities included in the science class. In the research, the 21st-century learning and innovation scale and basic skills scale was used as a quantitative data collection tool, and semi-structured interview and researcher's journal were used as a qualitative data collection tool. According to the results, the study of science using augmented reality applications has positively affected the skills of elementary school 4th-grade students. The qualitative results of the research concluded that students' creativity and innovation, critical thinking, making inferences, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills developed. During the interviews with students and the classroom teacher, they stated that the AR application makes information more permanent by embodying the information in their minds. The lessons are fun and exciting; their interest in technology is increased and should be used in other lessons.

ABSTRACT Objective: To understand the meanings that nurse researchers and nursing assistants attribute to one another, and to the development of research produced by Nursing. Method: Qualitative research. The Grounded Theory and the Complexity Theory were used as theoretical and methodological frameworks, respectively. Ten nursing assistants and six research nurses participated in the research. The semi-structured interview was used as a data collection technique. The results were categorized by comparative analysis and validated by ten judges. Results: The valuation of nursing care research as well as interactions between research development and nursing care may be related to the way nursing assistants and nurse researchers perceive themselves. These perceptions are multifaceted. Conclusion: The meanings nurse researchers and nursing assistants attribute to each other reveal mechanisms of closeness and distance between these actors, as well as between research and nursing care.

The general aim of the study is to determine the motivation of volunteers to participate in the sportive activities of mentally handicapped individuals (Study 1) and to reveal the details that can ensure the continuity of these volunteering activities (Study 2). In Study I, a survey model including the qualitative paradigm was used. Study I was carried out with 138 volunteers who participated in the Special Olympics Turkey event for mentally handicapped individuals in Gazi University. In the study I, an open-ended data collection tool with one question was used to determine the reasons for volunteers to participate in the sportive activities of mentally handicapped individuals. In the study I was used thematic analysis. In study I, It was determined that 121 (Female: 76, Male: 45) volunteers were in the internal motivation sub-dimension, 15 (Female: 4, Male: 11) volunteers were in the external motivation sub-dimension and 2 participants were in the non-motivation sub-dimension. In Study II, it was aimed to examine the expressions of volunteers involved in external motivation and non-motivation dimensions for these dimensions in depth. In Study II, a qualitative research approach was used. Study II was carried out with 17 volunteers involved in the dimensions of External Motivation (n: 15) and Non-motivation among volunteers. In Study II, semi-structured interview form was used as data collection tool. Study II shows the categories and frequencies achieved during interviews with individuals, whose voluntary participation motivations are external motivation and non-motivation. In interviews with volunteers in the external motivation sub-dimension, the following categories were obtained: “Occupational anxiety”, “Increasing the Sincerity with Teachers”, “Gaining Social Status/Becoming Popular” and “Rewarding Voluntary Participation”.
