<p>This paper describes one way that teachers as educators can face the challenges of the industrial revolution 4.0, namely by instilling and preparing creative and character-based leaders. Education as character building can be implemented using Ki Hajar Dewantara's leadership concepts, namely Ing Ngarsa Sung Tuladha, Ing Madya Mangun Karsa, and Tut Wuri Handayani. The concept of leadership was first adopted as a cooperative learning model which emphasized exemplariness in group learning. The group leader is called tuladha and is the facilitator of the group. Tuladha utilizes the Internet of Things. Before the teaching and learning process in class, information, concepts or ideas, and examples are posted by the teacher to the tuladha. This study is an experimental study with the sample used meeting the prerequisites of the statistical test used. The results showed that students' mathematical problem solving abilities increased significantly using the Ing Ngarsa Sung Tuladha cooperative learning model over the usual method. The category of improving students' mathematical problem solving abilities that obtain the Ing Ngarsa Sung Tuladha cooperative learning model is in the high category.</p>

The development of the industrial revolution must be balanced by the increase of quality soft skills, one of which is problem-solving ability. This study was aimed to determine which learning models that have more influence on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. Cooperative learning model Co-Op Co-Op with students who applied the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model. This research employed the quasi-experimental design. The sample was selected using cluster random sampling. The data collection instrument used was a problem-solving ability test in the form of an essay test. Based on the results of calculations using the t-test, it was concluded that the Co-Op Co-Op Cooperative learning model had more influence on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities compared to the Missouri Mathematics Project.

      This study aims to determine the effect of the Type STAD Cooperative Learning model on mathematical problem solving abilities. The data collection technique was obtained by means of a test in the form of description questions and documentation in the form of a list of student names. The research instrument used was 3 pre-test and post-test questions. The data analysis technique used is the normality test, homogeneity, t test with the technique of paired samples t-test and independent t-test.      The results showed that, the paired sample t-test on the problem solving ability before and after treatment with STAD obtained an average value of 50.29 to 83.71 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. This means that the students' scores before and after STAD learning have differences in the average mathematical problem solving abilities. Based on the results of the paired sample t-test on the ability to solve mathematical problems before and after treatment using conventional learning models, the average value was 44.57 to 75.79 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. This means that there is a significant increase before and after conventional learning. Based on the results of the independent samples t-test, the mean values were 83.71 and 75.79 with a significance value of 0.009 <0.05. This means that there is a difference in the average problem-solving ability of students in STAD learning with students in conventional learning. It can be concluded that the STAD type of cooperative learning model has an effect on students' problem solving abilities in mathematics.

AbstractThis study aims to improve students' problem-solving abilities with STAD cooperative learning model on the subject of integers class VII SMP Negeri 3 Galang. This type of  research is a classroom action research. The subjects were students of class VII-1 SMP Negeri 3 Assemble TA2014/2015 which amounted to28 students. The object of  this study is an effort to improve the ability of mathematical problem solving through cooperative learning model Student Team Achievement Division(STAD) on the subject of Integer. The research instrument used is the observation and mathematical problem solving ability test.  From the results of problem solving ability test, the data obtained were 9 students (32.14%), which reached the criteria of problem-solving abilities. After being given the treatment by applying the learning model STAD (first cycle), it is provided TKPMI .From the TKPMI data showed that as many as16students(57.14%) of the28students(2.74 value) that reaches criteria problem-solving abilities. This shows that in the first cycle of mathematical problem solving ability of students as a whole h as not reached 85%, the continued action on the second cycle. From the results TKPMII data showed that as many as 24 students (85.71%) of  the 28 students (3.15 value) that reaches criteria problem-solving abilities. This shows that the mathematical problem solving ability of students as a whole has reached 85%, then the action is stopped. Based on t he above results, it can be concluded that by applying STAD cooperative learning model can improve students' mathematical problem solving ability on the subject of integers in class VII SMP Negeri 3Galang.Keywords: STAD, improve, test, problem, solving

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang memperoleh  pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran secara langsung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa MTs Negeri di kabupaten Labuhanbatu yang berakreditasi A dan B. Sampel penelitian ini adalah MTs Negeri 1 Labuhanbatu dan MTs Negeri 2 berjumlah117 siswa. Validitas instrument angket dilakukan dengan analisis butir menggunakan rumus korelasi Product Moment dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dengan uji Chi Kuadrat dan untuk menghitung peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah  matematika setelah pembelajaran dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan pembelajaran langsung, maka digunakan uji gain ternormalisasi (g). Siswa yang mendapat model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD memperoleh rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis sebesar 0,63 dan siswa yang mendapat model pembelajaran langsung dengan rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis sebesar 0,36. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran koopertiftipe STAD lebih tinggi dari pada siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran langsung.This study aims to determine the increase in the problem-solving ability of students who get cooperative learning type STAD is higher than the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who receive direct learning.This research is a quasi experiment research. The population in this study were all State MTs students in Labuhanbatu district who were accredited A andB. The sample of this research is MTs Negeri 1 Labuhanbatu and MTs Negeri 2 totaling 117 students.The validity of the questionnaire instrument was carried out by analyzing items using the Product Moment correlation formula and reliability testing using the Cronbach Alpha formula. The data analysis technique used the normality test with the Chi Squared test and to calculate the increase in mathematical problem solving skills after learning with STAD cooperative learning and direct learning, the normalized gain test (g) was used. Students who received the STAD cooperative learning model obtained an average increase in mathematical problem solving abilities of 0.63 and students who received a direct learning model with an average increase in mathematical problem solving abilities of 0.36. Based on the results of the research data analysis, it was found that there was an increase in the problem solving ability of students who took STAD type coopertive learning higher than students who took direct learning.

Nowadays, the students are required to build understanding in problems solving independently. It is intended so that students can understand and are able to complete the concepts with their own ideas. Think Pair Share model in Cooperative Learning is one type of cooperative learning model, blending of self-learning and learning in groups. Think Pair Share model in Cooperative Learning can assist students in interpreting their ideas together and improve understanding. This study used a qualitative approach and designed using class action research. This study aims to determine the improvement of students' mathematical problem solving skills through Think Pair Share model in cooperative learning. Subjects in this study were students of grade X CEC 1 SMKN 5 Malang, academic year 2013/2014, amounting to 28 students. There are some stages in this research: (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, (4) reflection in each cycle. The data collection is about the implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share and mathematical problem-solving ability of students that are measured from every test at the end of cycle using a scoring rubric mathematical problem solving ability. It is also supported by other instruments, such as interviews, documentation, field notes. The results of this study indicate that 1) the application of Think Pair Share learning model has been implemented in two cycles with the first two stages of the cycle and the second cycle with one stage, and 2) the application of Think Pair Share model in cooperative learning is improving mathematical problem solving ability. The increasing was shown from the increasing in the implementation of cooperative learning Think Pair Share that is 81.135 percent in the first cycle increased to 84.86 percent in the second cycle. Mathematical problem-solving ability of students increase at an average of 50.23 percent in the first cycle into 60.12 percent in the second cycle. Saat ini siswa dituntut untuk mampu membangun pemahaman dalam penyelesaian masalah secara mandiri. Hal ini bertujuan agar siswa dapat memahami konsep dan mampu menyelesaikan dengan ide-ide mereka sendiri. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share merupakan salah satu tipe model pembelajaran kooperatif perpaduan dari belajar mandiri dan belajar secara berkelompok. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dapat membantu siswa dalam menginterpretasikan ide-ide mereka bersama dan memperbaiki pemahaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan dirancang dengan menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X KTK 1 SMKN 5 Malang tahun ajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Tahap dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) perencanaan; (2) tindakan; (3) observasi; (4) refleksi di setiap siklusnya. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah pelaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diukur dari tes setiap akhir siklus dengan menggunakan rubrik penskoran kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Selain itu juga didukung dengan instrument lain seperti wawancara, dokumentasi, catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share telah dilaksanakan dengan dua siklus dengan siklus pertama dua tahapan dan siklus kedua dengan satu tahapan, dan 2) penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Peningkatan tersebut ditunjukkan dari peningkatan pelaksanaan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share yakni 81,135 persen pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 84,86 persen pada siklus II. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika rata-rata siswa meningkat dari 50,23 persen pada siklus I menjadi 60,12 persen pada siklus II.

This study was aimed to know the differences in students' mathematical problem solving skills in problem basedlearning models with cooperative type thinking aloud pairs problem solving with a scientific approach at SMA Negeri 7 Bengkulu. Thedesign of this research was a quasi-experimental, used a pre-test post-test control group design. The population in this study were all students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 7 Bengkulu consist of 6 classes, with samples consist of 3 classes, the first experimental class with the problem based learning model, the second experimental class cooperative learning model type thinking aloud pairs problem solving and conventional learning as a control class. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. Data collection was done by using a test of students' mathematical problem solving skills. The results of the research data were analyzed using one-way ANAVA test and BNT test. The prerequisite test used the Kolmogrove-Smirnov test to see normality and Bartlet's test to see homogeneity. The significant level used is 0.05. The research data showed  that there was a significant difference in students' mathematical problem-solving ability in the learning model of Problem Based Learning, cooperative type thinking aloud pairs problem solving in SMA Negeri 7 Bengkulu, and problem based learning learning model which gives better results compared to the thinking type cooperative learning model thinking aloud Pairs problem solving at SMA Negeri 7 Bengkulu.Keywords: mathematical problem solving, PBL,TAPPS

AbstrakPerlu adanya upaya guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, karena fakta di lapangan menunjukkan rendahnya kemampuan matematis siswa tersebut. Salah satunya penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dan Think Talk Write. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa antara yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dan Think Talk Write. Metode penelitiannya adalah kuasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri 1 Garut, dengan sampel sebanyak dua kelas yang terdiri dari 46 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes uraian. Analisis data diawali dengan uji gain ternormalisasi, uji normalitas data gain ternormalisasi, kemudian uji Mann Whitney. Berdasarkan hasil analisis secara statistik diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa antara yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share dan Think Talk Write. The Differences in Improving Students of Mathematical Problem Solving Ability Between Think Pair Share and Think Talk Write AbstractTeachers need help to improve students 'mathematical problem-solving skills because the facts in the field show the students' low mathematical ability. The research instrument used was a description test. Data analysis begins with the normalized gain test, the normalized normality gain data test, then the Mann Whitney test. Based on the analysis results obtained from the research results obtained from the comparison between students' mathematical problem solving between those who get the Think Pair Share learning model and Think Talk Write.

Learning model chosen by educators teacher has not been able to accommodate the mathematics problems of students. For that, the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model was applied. The purpose of research is to collation the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who are using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model and using the ordinary learning model (scientific approach). This type of research is a quasy experiment with randomized control group only design. The population of this study were all students of class VII SMPN 1 Danau Kembar. For to get sample class with random sampling technique. As for the research instrument used in the study is a test of mathematical problem solving students abilities. Based on the results of this avarage mathematical problem solving students abilities experiment class and control class is 80,30 and 73,16. Than the hypothesis testing using the t-test. From calculation result obtained t_count > t_table 2,21 > 1,64) with alpha=0,05 with 95% confidence interval so H0 rejected and accepted H1.Keywords : Mathematical problem solving abilities, Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan pentingnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas model Problem Based Learning dan model Cooperative Learning tipe Think Pair Share berbantuan geogebra. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen. Metode pengumpulan data terdiri dari dokumentasi, tes, dan observasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini digunakan analisis variansi, regresi, dan uji proporsi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang mendapat model PBL berbantuan geogebra memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis sama dengan siswa yang mendapat model TPS berbantuan geogebra, dan kedua model pembelajaran tersebut menghasilkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa pada model PBL dan TPS berbantuan geogebra, terdapat pengaruh keaktifan belajar siswa dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematisnya. Model PBL dan TPS berbantuan geogebra juga menghasilkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang memenuhi ketuntasan klasikal. Kata kunci: Problem Based Learning, Think Pair Share, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis.   ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the importance of students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model and the Cooperative Learning model Think Pair Share type assisted by geogebra. The type of research used is experimental research. Data collection methods consist of documentation, testing, and observation. Data analysis in this study used analysis of variance, regression, and proportion test. The results of this study indicate that students who get geogebra-assisted PBL models have the same mathematical problem solving abilities as students who get geogebra-assisted TPS models, and both of these learning models produce students' mathematical problem-solving abilities better than conventional learning models. The results also showed that in the PBL and TPS models assisted by geogebra, there was an influence on students' learning activeness with their mathematical problem solving abilities. The geogebra-assisted PBL and TPS models also produce problem-solving abilities that meet classical completeness.
