Technological advances in recent years have had an impact on people's lifestyles. Almost all activities in various sectors can be carried out and accessed via smartphones. This causes a decrease in physical activity which can lead to obesity. Obesity is an imbalance of energy entering the energy used in the body resulting in the accumulation of excess lipids which can interfere with the health condition of the body. Body composition is an important part of determining one's physical fitness. Body composition can be seen from a person's Body Mass Index (BMI). This type of research is analytic observational with cross sectional research design. The data used by researchers is secondary data in 2018. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The sample used in this study was 127 people, consisting of 47 men and 84 women. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 26 through the Spearman Analysis Test with the results of p = 0.000 (p-value <0.05) for the relationship between BMI and IKB in the slow way and p = 0.002 (p-value <0.05) for the relationship between BMI with IKB the fast way. The conclusion that can be drawn from the results of the analysis is that there is a weak correlation between body mass index and body fitness index on the Havard Step Test fitness test for students of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember. ABSTRACT: EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIP AND WORKING SCHEDULE WITH BODY MASS INDEX IN YOSODADI PUSKESMAS WORKING AREA METRO CITY Introduction: The coverage of children under five in Lampung Province in 2019 was 79%, and this figure was above the target (76.18%). This figure illustrates that participation from the community to come to posyandu is still quite good in Lampung Province, while for Metro City the percentage of data is weighted at 78.8%. Data obtained through the Metro City Health Office in 2020 at the Yosodadi Health Center obtained as many as 656 toddlers aged 1-5 years who were weighingObjective: To find out the relationship between work and work schedule with the body mass index of toddlers aged 1-5 years.Methods: This type of research is quantitative. The design in this study uses an analytical survey design with a cross-sectional approach. The population is mothers and children aged 3-5 years, which is then calculated using the Slovin formula to obtain 197 children. Sampling technique purposive sampling Analysis of univariate and bivariate data using the chi-square test.Results: working mothers as many as 107 respondents (54.3%)., standard work schedule is 8 hours per day as many as 109 respondents (55.3%), BMI is not ideal, namely < 18.5 and > 22.9 as many as 103 respondents ( 52.3%. The results of statistical tests using the chi-square test obtained p-value = 0.000 (<α0.05), p-value = 0.085 (>α0.05).Conclusion: The results of statistical tests using the chi-square test obtained p-value = 0.000 (<α0.05) which means the relationship between mother's work and body mass index of toddlers aged 3-5. The p-value = 0.085 (>α0.05) means that there is no relationship between the mother's work schedule and the body mass index of children aged 3-5 years. It is recommended that parents who have toddlers with underweight and obese nutritional status should pay more attention to parenting patterns Keywords            :  Mother's Work Work Schedule, Toddler Body Mass Index  INTISARI: HUBUNGAN PEKERJAAN DAN JADWAL KERJA DENGAN INDEKS MASSA TUBUH BALITA DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS YOSODADI KOTA METRO   Pendahuluan: Cakupan balita ditimbang di Provinsi lampung tahun 2019 sebesar 79 %, dimana angka ini diatas target (76,18%). Angka ini menggambarkan bahwa partisipasi dari masyarakat untuk datang ke posyandu masih cukup baik di Provinsi Lampung, sedangkan untuk Kota Metro persentase data ditimbang sebesar 78,8%. Data yang diperoleh melalui Dinkes Kota Metro tahun 2020 di Puskesmas Yosodadi didapat sebanyak 656 balita usia 1-5 tahun yang melakukan penimbangan berat badanTujuan: Diketahui hubungan pekerjaan dan jadwal kerja dengan  indeks massa tubuh balita usia 1-5 tahun.Metode: Jenis penelitian kuantitatif, Rancangan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain Survei Analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi adalah  ibu dan anak usia 3-5 tahun, yang kemudian dilakukan perhitungan sampel dengan rumus slovin didapat sebanyak 197 anak. Teknik sampling purposive sampling Analisa data univariat dan bivariat  menggunakan uji chi square.Hasil : ibu bekerja sebanyak 107 responden (54,3%)., jadwal kerja standar yaitu 8 jam per hari sebanyak 109 responden (55,3%), IMT tidak ideal yaitu < 18,5 dan > 22,9 sebanyak 103 responden (52,3%). Hasil uji statistik menggunakan uji chi square didapat nilai p-value = 0.000 (<α0.05), nilai p-value = 0.085 (>α0.05).Kesimpulan : Hasil uji statistik menggunakan uji chi square didapat nilai p-value = 0.000 (<α0.05) yang artinya ada hubungan pekerjaan ibu dengan  indeks massa tubuh balita usia 3-5. Nilai p-value = 0.085 (>α0.05) yang artinya tidak ada hubungan jadwal kerja ibu dengan  indeks massa tubuh balita usia 3-5 tahun. Disarankan kepada orang tua yang memiliki balita dengan status gizi kurus dan gemuk, harus lebih memperhatikan lagi mengenai pola asuh anak           Kata Kunci      : Pekerjaan Ibu Jadwal Kerja, Indeks Masa Tubuh Balita

Someone who has experienced an increase in age usually called the elderly. The health of the elderly population must be a concern because of the impact of aging, the elderly experience many changes in terms of structure and function of the body, mental and psychosocial. One that affects the health of the elderly is physical fitness. will decrease. One component of physical fitness related to motor skills is speed. In the elderly, there is a change in road pattern, where the speed decreases. Measuring the speed of walking in the elderly is one way to assess and monitor functional status and overall health in the elderly. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of physical fitness with gait speed in the elderly in the Sumerta Kelod Village. The research method used was analytic observational with the cross-sectional design carried out in March - April 2019. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique with a sample of 40 people. The dependent variable measured is the gait speed with 4 Meters Gait Speed ??Test. The independent variable measured is physical fitness using the 2 Minutes Step Test. Obtained research results with a p-value of 0.0 (p < 0.05). So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between physical fitness towards gait speed in the elderly in the East Denpasar Sumerta Kelod Village.

Background: Information about the relationships between physical fitness, body composition and nutrition has increased in recent years; however, little is known about physical fitness and the coexistence of under-/overnutrition among children living in disadvantaged areas. Objectives: To determine the physical fitness status and its association with body composition, growth and selected socio- demographics in primary schoolchildren from disadvantaged communities in the Nelson Mandela Bay region. Methods: Nine hundred and sixty-five children (49% girls, M=9.5 years) participated in this cross-sectional study. Height and weight were measured to establish body mass index, and height-for-age z-scores. Physical fitness was assessed using tests from the Eurofit Physical Fitness test battery (flexibility, upper/lower body muscular strength and cardiorespiratory fitness). Between- group differences and cross-sectional associations were examined with univariate (Chi2-tests, analyses of variance) and multivariate methods (mixed linear/logistic regression). Results: Most children had normal weight (76.7%), while 4.5% were underweight and 18.7% were overweight/obese. Underweight children and children with stunted growth (11.5%) had lower average upper body strength (p<0.001). Overweight/obese children had lower scores in weight-bearing activities (p<0.001). Children with higher socio-economic status were more likely to be overweight and obese (p<0.001). In the multivariate analyses, sex, age, body mass index, and stunting were associated with children’s physical fitness. Conclusion: Fitness assessments seem to be a relevant measure of the current health status of children in disadvantaged settings. Compared to international norms, the children in this study had relatively low scores for both upper- and lower body muscular strength. Therefore, effective school-based intervention programmes should be developed to improve children’s physical fitness in disadvantaged schools.

Background. The main purpose of this study was to explore the body-mass index and waist circumference associated with physical fitness by gender. Methods. In this cross-sectional study, we included 1036 adolescents (55.4% girls) from eight randomly selected secondary schools within the city of Zagreb (Croatia). Body-mass index and waist circumference were objectively measured. Physical fitness included three tests: (1) 1 min sit-ups, (2) standing long jump and (3) a sit-and-reach test. Associations were calculated using linear regression models. Results. Boys had higher body-mass index and waist circumference values, compared to girls (p < 0.001). They also performed better in 1 min sit-ups and the standing long jump tests (p < 0.001), while girls obtained higher values in the sit-and-reach test (p < 0.001). In boys, body-mass index and waist circumference were associated with 1 min sit-ups and the standing long jump. In girls, waist circumference was also associated with 1 min sit-ups and the standing long jump, while body-mass index was only associated with this standing long jump. Conclusions. Our study shows that anthropometric indices have non-linear associations with physical fitness tests in a large sample of Croatian adolescents. Screening for thinness and obesity to predict the level of physical fitness should be of a great interest.

Introduction: Dietary factors or eating patterns can cause patients to experience anorexia so that it affects the body mass index measured by CKD patients (Susetyowati, 2014). Therefore, it is important to understand the research when studying the relationship between the diet of CKD patients and the body mass index of patients undergoing hemodialysis at the Dik Pusdikkes Hospital in 2021. Objective: This study aims to determine how big the influence of the relationship between the diet of CKD patients and the body mass index of patients undergoing hemodialysis to improve the quality of life of CKD patients. Method: The type of research used is quantitative research with a correlational design to determine whether there is a relationship between variables using experimental research. The population in this study that became the study population were all hemodialysis patients at the AD Pusdikkes Hospital. The sampling technique used was total sampling. The research instrument used is a questionnaire. The questionnaire is not standardized so that validity and reliability tests are carried out. In this study, the analysis used the chi-square test. Results: the results of the chi-square test showed that the p-value (0.028) <0.05 then Ha was accepted or there was a relationship between the diet of CKD patients and the patient's body mass index. Conclusion: Based on the results of the analysis of the relationship between the evaluation of hemodialysis patients at RS Dik Pusdikkes Kodiklat AD, 9 respondents had a poor diet with a body mass index in the lean category of 6 people (66.7%) and the normal category of 3 people (33.3%). And 11 respondents have a good diet relationship with body mass index in the thin category of 2 people (40.0%) and the normal category of 12 people (60%).

Background: The body composition and physical fitness of members of the army is always a relevant topic for research, since the level of defense and security of people and material goods in a specific territory in many ways depends on the level of ability of the army. However, members of the armed forces are a heterogeneous group, typified by different abilities, characteristics, but also everyday needs, and the trend of changing body composition and reducing physical fitness is a current issue that has not bypassed this population either. Therefore, this study aimed to determine possible differences in body composition indicators that could appear between members of the Army of Montenegro of different military specialties. Methods: The sample of respondents included 240 Montenegrin male soldiers (32.5yr±9.5), who were measured at the sports dispensaries within the barracks of Montenegrin Army around the country in the spring of 2020, was classified into eight numerically equal subsamples according to their military specialty. The sample of variables included five anthropometric measures, which were necessary to calculate two derived body composition indicators: Body Mass Index (BMI) and Body Fat Percentage (FAT %). Using the one-way ANOVA and Post Hoc test with Taki’s model, the variables were analyzed. Results: It was determined that the body composition of Montenegrin soldiers shows a certain peculiarity compared to other national military corps, while there are differences in body composition indicators between members of the Montenegrin Army of different military specialties. Conclusion: This fact dramatically strengthens the issues of Montenegrin distinctive regarding body composition, both in general terms and in terms of distinctive within specific professional vocations.

Background: Adequate micronutrients intake is essential to ensure the immune function. Certain populations may have insufficient intake of micronutrients, and in situations that increase the demand for example infections, stress, and pollution that decrease the body's stores of micronutrients, putting them at risk of deficiency and may impair immunity. Several researchs related to micronutrient intake, nutritional status, sleep duration are still contradictory results in showing the relationship with immunity.Objectives: To determine the relationship between micronutrient intake, sleep duration, body mass index and the immune status of Balitbang Hukum dan HAM employees.Methods: This type of research is an observational study with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling technique. The samples taken were 47 people.Results: Median intake of micronutrient vitamin A 1024.5 mcg, vitamin C 208.3 mg, vitamin D 1.4 mcg, vitamin E 3.5 mg, iron 5.1 mg, zinc 4.2 mg. Meanwhile, the median sleep duration was 6 hours and the median body mass index was 22.2 kg / m2. The intake of micronutrients with immune status has a p value> 0.05. Sleep duration with immune status has a p value <0.05 with a negative relationship direction. Body mass index with immune status has a p value> 0.05.Conclusion: There is no relationship between micronutrient intake and body mass index with immune status, meanwhile there is a relationship between sleep duration and immune status of Balitbang Hukum dan HAM employees.Keywords : Micronutrient intake; Sleep duration; Body mass index; Immune status

Obesity occurs due to excessive fat deposits in the body, one of which is a poor diet. The relationship between overweight and chronic kidney disease (CKD) is mediated through several mechanisms of adiponectin, leptin, and resistin, the development of inflammation, oxidative stress, abnormal lipid metabolism, and activation of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between body mass index and estimated glomerular filtration rate in overweight students at the Health Analyst Department of Pontianak Health Polytechnic. The research design used was cross-sectional. This research was conducted on May 14-18, 2018. The population is a student health analyst. With the criteria for students from the 2015 and 2016 batches who are still active, BMI 23-29.9 Kg/m² and aged 18 to 22 years, totaling 37 respondents. The sampling technique used is total sampling. Performed include measurements of BMI, serum creatinine Jaffe method, fixed time and ELFG Cokroft-Gault formula. The results obtained using the Kendall's tau test showed that the p value (0.906) was greater than (0.05) meaning that there was no relationship between body mass index and estimated glomerular filtration rate in overweight students at the Health Analyst Department of Pontianak Health Polytechnic.

Physical fitness is one of the most important things especially for teens due to their highactivities. Factors that affect physical fitness such as physical activity and BMI/Age. This study aimsto find out the relationship between body mass index based on age (BMI/Age) and physical activitywith physical fitness of SMKN Jawa Tengah Semarang students. This study use quantitative approachwith cross sectional research method. Population used in this study are 118 tenth graders and thesampel are 55 students. Statistic analysis in this study use Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Rank Spearmantest. The result shows that most of 16-year-olds participants are 39 students (70,9%) and 45 studentsare male. Fourty nine students (81,8%) have normal BMI/Age which 28 participants have kind ofheavy activities and the physical fitness of 31 participants count as good categoy. This study showthere is no relationship between IMT/U with physical fitness (p = 0,252 and r = 0,160) and there isa relationship between physical activity with physical fitness (p = 0,003 and r = 0,391).
