Abstrak: Kegiatan manajemen hubungan masyarakat mencakup fungsi-fungsi pokok manajemen secara umum, berfungsi dan bertujuan menciptakan dan mengembangkan persepsi terbaik bagi suatu organisasi lembaga pendidikan yang kegiatannya langsung ataupun tidak langsung mempunyai dampak bagi masa depan organisasi lembaga pendidikan itu. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menggali dan menggambarkan "Manajemen Hubungan Masyarakat dalam Meningkatkan Partisipasi Masyarakat Sekitar di MA At-Tahzib Kekait Gunungsari" dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana konsep manajemen hubungan masyarakat di MA At-Tahzib Kekait Gunungsari, bagaimana kondisi umum bentuk partisipasi masyarakat di MA At-Tahzib Kekait Gunungsari dan bagaimana model peran manajemen humas dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat sekitar di MA At-Tahzib Kekait Gunungsari. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dan metode pengumpulan datanya menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data tersebut dianalisa dengan tiga tahap yaitu verifikasi data, display data dan reduksi data. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsep manajemen hubungan madrasah dengan masyarakat internal yang efektif memberikan konstribusi terhadap kelancaran hubungan madrasah dengan masyarakat eksternal. Melalui kebebasan berkomunikasi dilingkungan internal madrasah, semua warga madrasah mempunyai kesempatan yang sama untuk berkreasi dan mengeluarkan pendapat. Dengan demikian, lahirlah sejumlah kegiatan hubungan madrasah dengan masyarakat untuk menggalang partisipasi masyarakat. Kondisi umum bentuk partisipasi masyarakat melalui manajemen humas dimulai dengan perencanaan partisipatif dan pengorganisasian dalam bentuk panitia pelaksana dengan melibatkan semua unsur madrasah yang terkait. Proses selanjutnya adalah pengaktifan dalam bentuk komunikasi dan pelaksana kegiatan. Komunikasi yang paling akrab dilakukan madrasah dengan komite madrasah yang bertujuan menyerap aspirasi ide, dan kebutuhan masyarakat. Proses terakhir manajemen humas adalah pengendalian yang dilakukan terhadap proses kegiatan dan hasil kegiatan humas. Model peran manajemen humas dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat sekitar di MA At-Tahzib Kekait Gunungsari difasilitasi dan digalang oleh komite madrasah. Partisipasi masyarakat dalam bentuk pengambilan keputusan, pelaksanaan program, pengambilan manfaat,dan evaluasi. Abstract: Public relations management activities cover the main functions of management in general, functioning and aims to create and develop the best perception for an organization of educational institution whose activities directly or indirectly have an impact on the future of the educational institution organization. This research was conducted to explore and describe "Public Relations Management in Increasing the Participation of Surrounding People in MA At-Tahzib Kekait Gunungsari" with the aim to know how is the concept of public relations management in MA At-Tahzib Kekait Gunungsari; how are the general conditions of community participation in MA At Tahzib Kekait Gunungsari; and how is the role model of public relations management in increasing the participation of surrounding communities in MA At-Tahzib Kekait Gunungsari. This type of research uses a qualitative approach, and the method of data collection uses in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Then the data is analyzed in three stages namely data verification, data display and data reduction. The results of this study indicates that the concept of madrasah relationship management with an effective internal society contributes to the smoothness of madrasah relationships with external communities. Through the freedom of communication within the internal madrasah, all madrasah residents have the equal opportunity to be creative and to express their opinions. Thus, a number of madrasah relationship activities were established with the community to mobilize the community participation. The general condition of community participation’s form through public relations management is begun with participatory planning and organizing in the form of the organizing committee by involving all elements of the related madrasah. The next process is the activation of communication form and executing activities. The most familiar communication of madrasahs with madrasah committees aimed at absorbing the aspirations of ideas, and the needs of society. The last process of public relations management is the control performed on the process of activities and the results of public relations activities. The role model of public relations management in increasing the participation of surrounding communities in MA At-Tahzib Kekait Gunungsari is facilitated and mobilized by the madrasah committee. While the community participations are shown in decision-making, program implementation, benefit-taking, and evaluation.   Kata Kunci: manajemen, humas, partisipasi, masyarakat

The objective of this research was to understand comprehensively the Financial Independent in Organization of Education through Entrepreneurship and partnership. it was a qualitative research with study case method conducted in Al Ashriyyah Nurul Iman Islamic Boarding School, Parung-Bogor. In this research data collecting with triangulation technique, Overall the researchers use participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation for the same data sources simultaneously. As a private educational institution, Al Ashriyyah Nurul Iman Foundation since its inception independently manage and develop the foundation to establish a wide range of entrepreneurial and cooperation with various institutions and circles. Financial independence has always strived through two things very well. Develop without relying on finance from other parties is a priority for YANIIBS, so that entrepreneurship and partnerships with these institutions become more developed and advanced

Purpose of the Study: This study aims to identify the potential of Pentingsari Tourist Village and tourist characteristics and analyze the presence of local wisdom Memayu Hayuning Bawono in Pentingsari Village, especially its implementation in the sustainable Tourist Villages management. Methodology: This research uses a "multi-method" or mixed-method approach. In addition to conducting non-participant observation in the Pentingsari tourism village, researchers also conducted in-depth interviews with a purposive sampling method. While the accident sampling method was adopted to distribute questionnaires involving 72 respondents (tourists). Main Findings: This research found that tourism and local wisdom have become unity and seem to strengthen one another. In other words, harmonization between the environment, arts and culture, and community life aspects through local wisdom, can become a tourism commodity. On the other hand, tourism provides economic and social impacts to preserve the local sense of the community. Implication/Applications: This case study can be useful as a role model of sustainable tourism management based on local knowledge. Besides, this study can enrich references related to the concept of sustainable tourism based on local wisdom. Originality of the study: The paper is original, and this is the current study to examine the local wisdom Memayu Hayuning Bawono in Pentingsari Village, particularly related to tourism issues.

Pesantren is an Islamic educational institution that excels in Islamic learning and education. However, these advantages do not lead to the life endurance of the pesantren, especially after the death of the founder. The orientation shift from the management based on the founder of Pesantren to a systemic approach pesantren management requires a comprehensive planning. This research was conducted to describe and analyze the pesantren’s planning pattern and the factors influencing the development of pesantren. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The source of the data were Kiai, teachers, and the board of Pesantren. Data was collected through  observations and in-depth interviews. The results showed that the pesanteren’s planning was carried out through several stages i.e., vision formulation, human resource preparation, vision operationalization, program implementation, and supervision. While the factors that inlfuenced the pesantren’s vision development are internal factor i.e., the leadership and management of the pesantren, and external factor i.e., government and society.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the implementation of a credit program (KUR) in state-owned banks (KUR program of study at Bank Rakyat Indonesia Branch Office Majalaya). The method used is a qualitative method of data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and non-participant observation. Data analysis techniques, namely the reduction of data, display data and then drawing conclusions. While testing is done by triangulation of data and discussions with members of the research team.Results from the study showed that the implementation process of granting KUR fairly and efficiently. That is the process of credit supply is in accordance with the legislation in force, both legislation and circulars BRI. So even in terms of processing time relatively quickly with quite a lot of stages.

This article explores the lifeworlds of so-called Salafi(st)s in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, by examining the ways their beliefs impact upon their everyday lives, identities, and religious practices. Based on participant observation, informal talks, and in-depth interviews conducted with persons visiting mosques ascribed to apolitical “puristic Salafism” (salafiyya ʿilmiyya), the article is intended to shed light on their ways of life, convictions, and everyday practices by presenting four case studies. The subjects of our case studies show a highly heterogeneous and individual synthesis of personal guidelines for conducting what they call a “good Muslim life”, according to their translation of the role model of thesalaf ṣāliḥ(“the pious ancestors”, i.e. the first three generations of Muslims) as well as a heterogeneity in their emic identity ascription and definition of what Salafism means to them.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas komunikasi yang terdapat dalam Tari Kanjet Anyam Tali. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi komunikasi. Informan penelitian ini berjumlah 3 (tiga) orang menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi nonpartisipan, analisis dokumen dan studi pustaka. Adapun teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah deskripsi, analisis dan interpretasi.Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, Situasi Komunikatif yang terdapat dalam tempat pelaksanaannya yaitu Rumah Lamin. Peristiwa Komunikatif terbagi menjadi tujuh: a) Setting, lokasi ditampilkannya Tari Kanjet Anyam Tali adalah di Rumah Lamin. b) Panutan, yang menjadi panutan pada saat penari menarikan Tari Kanjet Anyam Tali adalah Orang Tua, Pelatih Tari, Serta Burung Enggang. c) Tujuan, tujuan diadakan Tari Kanjet Anyam Tali adalah Untuk Menyambut para tamu yang hadir d) Tahapan pertunjukan. e) Bentuk pesan, dalam Tari Kanjet Anyam Tali adalah nyanyian, gerakan dan penampilan. g) Aturan wajib yang perlu dilakukan oleh para penari adalah wajib menguasai setiap gerakan. h) Mitos, mitos yang berlaku pada saat ditampilkannya Tari Kanjet Anyam Tali adalah hadirnya para Dewa di Rumah Lamin. Tindakan Komunikatif yaitu verbal dan nonverbal, yakni gerakan yang merupakan gambaran dari menganyam tali dan ekspresi wajah tersenyum. Patung burung enggang digunakan sebagai symbol kedamaian yang ingin dicapai. Lagu yang mengiringi Tarian ini adalah Bangun Tawai yang berarti mengajak berkumpul bersama dan bahagia bersama. AbstractThis study aims to determine the communication activities contained in Kanjet Anyam Tali Dance. This research used a qualitative approach with methods of ethnography of communication. The informants were 3 (three) people are determined using purposive sampling technique. Data obtained through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, analysis of documents and literature. The data analysis technique used is the description, analysis and interpretation.Results from the reseach showed that, Communicative situation is the place of execution, namely lamin house. Communicative events is divided into seven: a) setting, where they appear Kanjet Anyam Tali Dance is in lamin house. b) Role Model, which became a role model at the time of the dancers the Dance Kanjet Anyam Tali is Parent, Coach Dance, as well as hornbills. c) Objectives, goals held Kanjet Anyam Tali Dance is To Welcoming the guests who were present in the village Pampang d) Stages show. e) The form of the message, the message forms Kanjet Anyam Tali Dance is singing, motion and appearance. g) Rules shall be performed by the dancers are required to master every move. h) Myth, myth prevailing at the time of display of dance Kanjet Anyam Tali is the presence of the gods in the House Lamin. Communicative action contained is verbal and nonverbal. Statue of hornbills is used as a symbol of peace to be achieved. The song that accompanies this dance is Bangun Tawai which means getting gathered together and happy together.

This study aims to describe the role of kyai in creating the religious culture of the santri. How the socialization patterns that exist in an educational institution especially pesantren (Islamic boarding school) can shape the religious culture of the santri, is the main concern of this study. Madrasah Qudsiyyah, one of the Islamic education institutions based on pesantren in Kudus Regency, Central Java, is the object of this study. With a qualitative approach, the data were collected through participant observation and in-depth interviews. They were then analyzed using the theoretical framework of the sociology of knowledge of Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckman. The results of this study revealed that kyai (including ustadz) has a central role in shaping the character and religious culture of the santri. Kyai, apart from being an educator, also acts as a guide, uswah hasanah, and guide of the santri. With this role, kyai becomes a kind of role model for santri in terms of the spiritual, moral, intellectual, and social life. From a long time daily interaction process between kyai and santri in the pesantren, finally it becomes habitus in shaping the mindset, character, and religious culture of the santri.

Pesantren is an Islamic educational institution with a boarding or boarding system. With the levels of Santri who register at the pesantren come from various ages, the santri teachers must have the ability to communicate and treat so that the students are able to adapt to new habits in pesantren education. This research was conducted to explore the forms of interaction and communication of the teachers as an effective method of delivering messages to the new students. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research, with the case study method. Data collection techniques through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that age is a very important factor in communication to shape perceptions, values, cultural backgrounds, knowledge, roles and the environment that have a high influence on the effectiveness of delivering messages that can create the desired communication. So that the method of delivering effective messages by the teachers to the new students is through the Parenting communication pattern approach using: 1) Permissive communication patterns (tend to behave freely) but remain focused and under supervision, 2) take an approach based on parenting with implementing the concept of reward and punishment ala Rasulullah SAW. With the results of this research, it is hoped that it will become an additional reference for teachers who are responsible for the new santri class to learn parenting and communication as the basis for the ability to convey messages so that the vision and mission of the pesantren can be realized, namely creating the nation's generation.

The purpose of this study first, to describe the character values ​​implanted by teachers of PAI on students in SDI Raudlatul Jannah Sidoarjo and SDIT Ghilmani Surabaya. Second, describe the strategy of PAI teachers in instilling the character values ​​of students in SDI Raudlatul Jannah Sidoarjo and SDIT Ghilmani Surabaya. Third, describe the process of internalization of character values ​​on students in SDI Raudlatul Jannah Sidoarjo and SDIT Ghilmani Surabaya. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive technique of descriptive informant. Data collection techniques with participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation analysis. The results of this study conclude that in the inculcation of the values ​​of character education in the students the teacher has a special strategy by applying his role as educator, lecturer, curriculum developer, reformer, model and role model in integrating character values ​​into the whole subjects, day, school programs, and building cooperation between schools with parents.   Keywords: Strategy, Islamic Religious Education Teachers, Character
