Pesantren is an Islamic educational institution that excels in Islamic learning and education. However, these advantages do not lead to the life endurance of the pesantren, especially after the death of the founder. The orientation shift from the management based on the founder of Pesantren to a systemic approach pesantren management requires a comprehensive planning. This research was conducted to describe and analyze the pesantren’s planning pattern and the factors influencing the development of pesantren. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The source of the data were Kiai, teachers, and the board of Pesantren. Data was collected through  observations and in-depth interviews. The results showed that the pesanteren’s planning was carried out through several stages i.e., vision formulation, human resource preparation, vision operationalization, program implementation, and supervision. While the factors that inlfuenced the pesantren’s vision development are internal factor i.e., the leadership and management of the pesantren, and external factor i.e., government and society.

This research’s background was the assumptions that services in the land sector are still too difficult and convoluted. This study’s problems are how the performance of the Land Office of Pangkalpinang in providing service and the supporting and restraining factors. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Collecting data through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The data were gathered from 15 employees who were the sample in this study. The results bring a conclusion that the performance of the Land Office of Pangkalpinang has generally been running well and fulfilling the public’s expectations. The indicators are (a) Effectiveness, (b) Responsiveness, in recognizing and knowing the public’s needs, and (c) Accountability, on doing their duties and functions that followed the organizational vision and mission. Internal and external factors that influence the performance are (a) The ability of employees, an internal factor, (b) Motivation, (c) Public participation, an external factor that is inadequate in supporting office performance; (d) Communication factors.

This article focuses on the analysis to find out the difficulties of students MTs in English Learning. The sample of this study is used for some students from 36 students in VII grade of MTs Nurul Falah Cimahi. This method uses Qualitative approach in the analysis. The result is that students difficulties, in learning English 85% not appropriate. Some expert suggest external factor and internal factor that be affect students learning difficulties to learning difficulties. The author only focus on one factor that is external factor. External factors are : School factors, Family factors, and Environmental factors. The result of the analysis, the external factors that most affect the difficulties tudent learn English in MTs. Nurul Falah is the School and Family factors

This study aims to describe the implementation of education character policy at SMP Negeri 5 Mataram, the proponent and the resistor factors, and the effect of education character policy implementation on students. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The subject of this study involved: the principal, the student head deputy, the homeroom teacher, the religion teacher, and the counseling teacher. The observation, interview, and documentation are used as data collection methods. Furthermore, the result of this study showed that (1) the implementation of education character policy at SMP Negeri 5 Mataram was implemented by school residents with teaching and learning activities.(2) the proponent factors were an internal factor (student awareness) and an external factor (the cooperation among teachers, employees, conducive neighborhood, and programmed activities). (3) the resistor factors were an internal factor (the student character diversity, the teacher limitedness on education character implementation), the external factor was (the lack of parent supervision on problematic children). (4) The effect of education on character implementation creates self-confidence and discipline. Keywords:Implementation, education character policy

The conflict between Sunni and Shia has taken place from the very beginning of the two ideologies. The eternal conflict between the Sunni and the Shias enters into the strategic domains of the moral formation of children, namely education. Education is a strategic place in the formation and cadre of a child. Original education is expected to be the formation of a neutral personality, more often ridden with certain ideologies so that the child's personality is formed from Islamic education in accordance with the ideology of an educational institution. The purpose of this research is to know how far conflict sekmetian Sunni and Shia and its impact to education world especially in District of Bangil Pasuruan Regency. This research uses qualitative approach with fenomelogical perspective. The data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. From the results of this study obtained the conclusion that the conflict that stood for years can stick again when the trigger is punctured. As a result education is a disadvantaged element in this sectarian conflict. Education that should be neutral, polluted and polarized by the divisive elements. In addition, education contributes to polishing and beautifying the conflict between Sunnis and Shiites. Conflicts that occurred have entered the realm of education. A deep understanding of the teachings of affection between fellow Muslims, supported by an unbalanced curriculum of Islamic education and an educator who is not blind fanaticism, will be the solution to the realization of peace for both sects.

Changing the habits of tourists and the community using the road as a parking lot is still considered truly difficult. Efforts made by the government, such as providing a parking center and firm action for offenders who still use the road as a parking lot in the Ubud tourism area, have also not been able to solve this problem. The problems discussed in this study are the effectiveness of the implementation of the Gianyar Regent Regulation (Perbup) Number 57 of 2018 related to the provision of parking facilities in the Ubud tourism area and the factors that influence the occurrence of parking violations in the tourism area. The research was designed using empirical legal research which is also known as field research. The results of the study reveal that the effectiveness of the implemention of the Gianyar Perbup Number 57 of 2018 related to the provision of parking facilities in the Ubud tourism area has not been effective because of the many parking problems existing in the area. The factors influencing the occurrence of parking rules violations in the parking area include internal factor and external factor. Firmness from the implementing agency of the Perbup is needed so that the regulation can be more effective and the vehicle owners are expected not to park their vehicles carelessly.

The popularity of batik in Indonesia was increasing nevertheless, however batik Banyumasan seemed difficult to penetrate the market.  Banyumas Batik is still less pamor compared to the batik of Pekalongan, Solo, and Yogyakarta, this is seen from low productivity and also the product has not been able to penetrate the export market. This research aims to identify factors that affect the competitiveness of KUB Batik Banyumasan as well as analyze and determine the strategic position of KUB Batik Banyumasan (Pringmas KUB case study). In identifying the factors influencing the competitiveness and strategic position used Diamond Porter model, value chain, VRIO, IFAS, EFAS and SFAS matrix. The respondent in this study were divided into expert respondent and the company's internal informant. Based on the results of the score calculation on the internal factor and the external factor of Banyumasan batik’s industry KUB Pringmas obtained in the quadrant I indicate the position of the company is highly profitable, the company has the opportunity and strength, so can take advantage of existing opportunities. The strategy that must be set for the company in this position is to support the growth oriented strategy.

Adolescents are human resources with high potential, their awareness of reproductive health is important to grow. Adolescents, along with their development, begin to explore with themselves, the values, identity, roles and behavior. In addition, free sex has a great opportunity for adolescents to marry early, contract sexually transmitted diseases and HIV-AIDS. Based on the contributing factors, what can encourage adolescents to have free sex are internal and external factors. The internal factor is lack of knowledge about sex or wrong and high curiosity. Meanwhile, the external factor is the stimulation of pornography through the media of information technology and the influence of peers. In this study, using a qualitative approach, the results obtained on the factors that cause free sex in adolescents are more detailed, clearer and more accurate

The majority of pesantren, the oldest Islamic educational institution in Indonesia, are still giving a priority to men for most important positions and roles in managing the pesantren. However, there is an interesting phenomenon at Pesantren Roudhotul Qur'an in Jember, East Java, where Nyai Mulazimah took unusual position as a leader of the pesantren, as well as the teacher of Tafsir Jalalain, the most influential tafsir books at pesantren. One of her contribution is conducting a reading of Tafsir Jalalain using a gender approach. This article aims to analyze the role of Nyai Mulazimah and her influences on shaping socio-religious traditions within her pesantren, especially related to the interpretation of the Qur'an (tafsir). This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation and in-depth interviews with Mrs. Nyai Mulazimah and several students. The results reveal that the presence of Nyai Mulazimah as a teacher, who makes an interpretation of the Qur’an using a gender perspective, has created a new distinction to the tradition of teaching a tafsir within a pesantren which has been dominated by men. Therefore, this also gives rise to more diverse perspectives on the interpretation of certain verses within the pesantren, especially those related to the role and social position of women.Mayoritas pesantren di Indonesia masih memprioritaskan laki-laki pada posisi dan peran-peran penting di pondok pesantren. Salah satu fenomena menarik di Pondok Pesantren Roudhotul Qur’an di Jember adalah keberadan Bu Nyai Mulazimah sebagai pemimpin pondok sekaligus pengajar Tafsir Jalalain. Melalui peran Bu Nyai Mulazimah, pengajaran Tafsir Jalalain diajarkan dengan pendekatan gender. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Bu Nyai tersebut dan pengaruhnya terhadap tradisi sosial-keagamaan di pesantren khususnya dalam konteks penafsiran al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara  mendalam terhadap Bu Nyai Mulazimah dan beberapa santri. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa keberadaan Bu Nyai Mulazimah sebagai pengajar tafsir dengan perspektif gender telah memberikan nuansa baru dalam tradisi pengajaran tafsir di pesantren yang selama ini didominasi oleh kaum laki-laki. Sehingga, hal ini memunculkan sudut pandang yang lebih beragam tentang tafsir ayat-ayat tertentu di pesantren, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan peran dan posisi sosial perempuan dalam masyarakat.

The leadership and managerial ability of the leader of an educational institution is one of the determinants of the development of the educational institution. This study aims to describe the portrait of educational management from Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri in developing educational institutions. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection methods are observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data is analyzed by data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results showed that Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri was a person who had a broad understanding of leadership and management, including management of education. This is indicated by its ability to develop educational institutions to carry out managerial functions of education management in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating and monitoring. The application process by Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri is a process of adaptation in accordance with the conditions and challenges of future education. Kepemimpinan dan kemampuan  manajerial pimpinan suatu lembaga pendidikan merupakan salah satu faktor penentu perkembangan lembaga pendidikan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan potret manajemen pendidikan dari Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri dalam mengembangkan lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan reduksi data, presentasi, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri adalah orang yang memiliki pemahaman luas dalam kepemimpinan dan manajemen, termasuk manajemen pendidikan. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh kemampuannya mengembangkan lembaga pendidikan untuk melaksanakan fungsi manajerial manajemen pendidikan dalam perencanaan, pengorganisasian, implementasi dan evaluasi serta pemantauan. Proses aplikasi oleh Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri adalah proses adaptasi sesuai dengan kondisi dan tantangan pendidikan ke depan.

Muhammadiyah owns 16,346 kindergartens across Indonesia. In Yogyakarta, out of 212 kindergartens listed in the government, 70 belong to Muhammadiyah (30%). Cumulatively, distribution of money in Yogyakarta's Muhammadiyah kindergarten is significant; however none of the kindergartens use the banking payroll system, making it vulnerable to financial exploitation and corruption. There is a rejection towards this banking payroll system. The current study aims to understand the factors influencing such rejection. Qualitative approach used in the study was phenomenology. Results from in-depth interviews and focus group discussions (FGD) on five teachers showed that anchors were established through the dynamics of two factors: leadership experience and belongingness. Variations between the factors create a new layer of anchor. More participants are needed to better understand the forming of anchors, as well as statistical analysis to validate the new anchor.
