Measles is a disease that can be prevented by immunization. According to Indonesian Health Ministry report  2016 there were 8,185 cases in 2015 and 12,943 cases in 2014. The highest number of meales cases were  found in East Java, and Sidoarjo regency is the region with the highest cases, there are 507 cases in 2015 and a significant increase in 2016 of 1141 cases. The number of cases of clinical measles at Wonoayu Public Health Center from year 2013 are 4 cases, 2014 is 16 cases, 2015 is 43 cases and year 2016 is 99 cases. This research aims to analyze the relationship of children under five years characteristics, age of measles immunization and history of exclusive breastfeeding. This type of research is observational analytic with cross sectional design. The sample was taken by simple random sampling and the sample size was 61 children under five years old registered in the MTBM / MTBS register of Wonoayu Health Center according to the inclusion criteria and then analyzed by Chi-square test. The results showed that there was a relation between measles immunization age (p = 0.018), history of exclusive breastfeeding (p = 0.045) to clinical measles. There was no association between sex of children under five years (p = 0.909) against clinical measles. Give attention from health workers to children’s discipline related to precise measles immunization is very important as well as understanding of mother’s children under five about the role of exclusive breastfeeding for child immunity.Keywords:clinical measles, children under five’s characteristic, age while measles immunization, history of exclusive breastfeeding

Abstrak Latar Belakang : Gizi kurang dan buruk pada balita dapat mengakibatkan terganggunya pertumbuhan jasmani dan kecerdasan anak. Angka kejadian gizi buruk tertinggi terjadi di Puskesmas Simomulyo Surabaya sebanyak 35 balita pada tahun 2016. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan hubungan Pola Pemberian Makan, Sosial Ekonomi dan Riwayat BBLR dengan Status Gizi Balita. Metode: Penelitian cross sectional ini dilakukan di Kelurahan Simomulyo Baru Surabaya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh balita usia 12-59 bulan di Kelurahan Simomulyo Baru Kota Surabaya sebanyak 3036 balita. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 130 balita pada RW 5 dan RW 6 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara simple random sampling. Pengambilan data dengan kuesioner. Data dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil: Status Gizi Bermasalah sebagian besar terjadi pada balita dengan pola pemberian makan yang kurang yaitu 34 balita (97,1%). Pendidikan terakhir ibu balita status gizi bermasalah sebagian besar berpendidikan tinggi yaitu sebanyak 47 orang (49,0%). Pekerjaan ibu balita status gizi bermasalah sebagian besar  tidak bekerja sebanyak 52 orang (49,5%). Balita status gizi bermasalah hampir setengahnya terjadi pada keluarga dengan pendapatan rendah yaitu sebanyak 41 keluarga (58,6%). Balita yang mengalami status gizi bermasalah sebagian besar terjadi pada balita dengan riwayat BBLR cukup bulan saat lahir yaitu sebanyak 23 balita  (88,5%). Berdasarkan hasil uji Chi-Square didapatkan hasil pemberian makan (p-value =0,001), pendidikan ibu (p-value=0,561),  pekerjaan ibu (p-value=0,320), pendapatan keluarga (p-value =0,005), dan riwayat BBLR (p-value =0,001) dengan α=0,05. Kesimpulan: Pola pemberian makan, pendapatan dan riwayat BBLR berhubungan dengan status gizi balita. Sedangkan pendidikan ibu dan pekerjaan ibu tidak berhubungan dengan status gizi balita.Abstract Background: Underweight and malnutrition of children can result in disruption of physical growth and intelligence of children. The highest incidence of malnutrition occurred in Simomulyo Health Center Surabaya as many as 35 children in 2016. The aim of the research was determine the relationship between Feeding Patterns, Social Economy and LBW History with Nutritional Status Toddlers. Method : This cross-sectional study was conducted in Simomulyo Baru Village Surabaya. The population in this study were all toddlers aged 12-59 months in Simomulyo Baru Village, Surabaya, as many as 3036 toddlers. The sample used was 130 toddlers in RW 5 and RW 6 with the sampling technique using simple random sampling. Retrieving data with a questionnaire. Data were analyzed statistically using the Chi-Square test . Results : Troubled Nutritional Status mostly occurred in children under five with poor feeding patterns, namely 34 toddlers (97.1%). The last education of mothers of children under five with a problematic nutritional status was mostly highly educated as many as 47 people (49.0%). The work of mothers of children under five with problematic nutritional status mostly did not work as many as 52 people (49.5%). Toddlers with problematic nutritional status almost half occur in families with low income as many as 41 families (58.6%). Most toddlers who have problematic nutritional status occur in infants with a history of LBW enough months at birth as many as 23 children (88.5%). Based on the Chi-Square test results obtained feeding results ( p-value = 0.001), mother’s education (p-value = 0.561), mother’s work ( p-value = 0.320), family income ( p-value = 0.005), and history LBW ( p-value = 0.001 ) with α=0,05. Conclusion : The pattern of feeding, income and history of LBW is related to the nutritional status of children. While mother’s education and mother’s work is not related to the nutritional status of children.

Acute respiratory infections (ARI) is a disease that attacks one or more parts of the respiratory tract from the nose to the alveoli or lung. This disease which is caused by various factors (multifactorial) is the top rank disease in Indonesia, and is the biggest cause (17%) of the death of children under five years (toddlers). This study aims to determine the environmental risk factors for the incidence of ARI in children under five in the working area of the Panambungan Health Center. This type of research uses an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design with a sample of 88 respondents obtained by simple random sampling technique. Data analysis was performed by using chi-square test and the magnitude of the risk with the odds ratio value. The results of statistical tests showed that the use of anti-mosquito coils (p = 0.021; OR = 3.573), kitchen ventilation (p = 0.000; OR = 0.112), and smoking habits of family members significantly affected ARI cases on toddlers in the working area of Panambungan Health Center, Makassar in 2020. Meanwhile, bedroom ventilation (p = 0.538; OR = 0.570) and the type of house floor (p = 0.269; OR = 1.889) did not significantly affect ARI cases on toddlers in the working area of Panambungan Health Center, Makassar in 2020.

Diarrhea is a symptom of infection in the intestinal tract with the second death rate in the world in children under five years of age. Risk factors for the incidence of diarrhea in children under five are host factors that increase susceptibility to diarrhea, not giving exclusive breastfeeding (ASI), not giving breastfeeding for 2 years, malnutrition, measles and immunodeficiency. Breastfeeding (ASI) contains the best nutrients that match the needs of the baby and exclusive breastfeeding is carried out from birth to the first six months without any additional food or drink. Several studies have shown that the immunity content of breastfeeding is able to coat the gastrointestinal mucosa and protect the digestive tract from incoming pathogens. The aim of this study is to find out the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of diarrhea in children aged 6-24 months at Puskesmas Aek Parombunan, Sibolga Selatan in 2019. The research design used was observational analytic cross-sectional with the criteria for the research sample of toddlers aged 6-24 months. The sampling technique in this study used total sampling. The research instrument was a medical record and data analysis used the chi-square test. Based on the results of the study, there was a relation between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of diarrhea.

Mothers’ regularity of weighing their children aged <5 yo at Posyandu is crucial to monitor the growth, nutritional status, and health of the children. Several factors could affect mothers’ regularity in weighing their children at Posyandu. This study aimed to identify factors affecting mothers to regularly measure the weight of their children <5 yo at Posyandu in Toobaun Village Kupang District. The study used an analytical survey with a cross-sectional study design. The sample was 57 mothers who had under-five children obtained by simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through interviews using questionnaires and analyzed using the chi-square test. The result showed that knowledge (p= 0,002) and distance home-posyandu (p=0,000) associated with mothers’ regularity of weighing their under-five children, while mother’s occupation had no association with mothers’ regularity of weighing their children( p=0,091). Health workers should encourage mothers to measure regularly the weight of their under-five children at Posyandu.

Poor environmental sanitation will result in diarrheal disease which will later lead to infection and thus lead to malnutrition. In Indonesia, it is recorded that 7.8 million out of 23 million children under five are stunted or around 35.6%. Based on the Tumalehu Health Center report (November 2019), it shows that in 2019 the number of children under five was 1467 and those with poor nutritional status were 89 children (6.07%). The research objective was to analyze the relationship between environmental sanitation and stunting in children under five in the coastal area of Tumalehu Health Center. This research method is analytic observational with a cross-sectional approach, the number of samples is 313 toddlers. Data were analyzed using Chi Square Test. The results of the study using a bivariate test showed that there was a relationship between environmental sanitation, consisting of clean water facilities (p=0.014), SPAL (p=0.05) and waste disposal facilities (p=0.00) with the incidence of stunting (HAZ) in toddler. The conclusion from the research is that poor sanitation can contribute to nutritional problems, in this case a picture of past nutrition problems for children under five, which is indicated by stunting.

Background: The coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in Hiang Health Center Working Area in 2019 was 49.1%. Purpose: This study aimed to determine the relationship between family and health worker support with exclusive breastfeeding at the Hiang Health Center, Kerinci Regency Methods: This study used a cross-sectional design with a sample of 165 people. Samples were taken using proportional random sampling technique. The samples taken were mothers who had children aged 6-23 months with the mother's condition physically healthy, able to read, write and speak Indonesian, did not suffer from serious diseases that harm the baby when breastfeeding, such as HIV, Active TB, and Hepatitis. Data collection was carried out from April to May 2021 with the interview method using a structured questionnaire. Data processing was carried out univariate and bivariate using chi-square test. Results: The proportion of children who did not get exclusive breastfeeding was 45.5%. Bivariate analysis showed that family support (p=0.004 OR= 1.68 95%CI 1.2-2.3), and support from health workers (p=0.000 OR=2.42 95% CI 1.73 - 3.37) were associated with exclusive breastfeeding. Conclusion: Family and the health workers support were associated with exclusive breastfeeding.

ABSTRAKPenyakit infeksi saluran pernapasan akut (ISPA) merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan utama. Prevalence ISPA di Indonesia mencapai 25% dan karakteristik penduduk dengan ISPA yang tertinggi terjadi pada kelompok umur 1-4 tahun (25,8%). Di kota Banjarmasin, ISPA termasuk dalam sepuluh penyakit terbanyak di setiap puskesmas, termasuk di Puskesmas Pelambuan Banjarmasin. Berdasarkan data tahun 2015 didapatkan data bahwa kasus ISPA menempati urutan pertama dalam kunjungan terbanyak di Puskesmas Pelambuan. Kunjungan ISPA mencapai sekitar 3.911 kunjungan dari 13.162 jumlah kunjungan. Di wilayah ini terdapat pabrik karet dengan cerobong asap yang mencemari udara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan jarak rumah dengan cerobong asap pabrik karet dengan derjaat keparahan ISPA pada balita di wilayah Puskesmas Pelambuan Banjarmasin. Jenis penelitian adalah observasional analitik dengan rancangan crossectional. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 50 orang balita penderita ISPA yang tercatat di Puskesmas Pelambuan, dipilih secara simple random sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji chi square pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 76% dari subjek penelitian tinggal di rumah dengan jarak sedang terhadap cerobong asap dan 24% pada jarak dekat. Sebanyak 60% mengalami serangan ISPA >1 kali dan 48% dengan derajat keparahan sedang. Hasil uji statistik didapatkan adanya hubungan antara jarak rumah terhadap cerobong asap dengan pola penyakit ISPA ditinjau dari frekuensi serangan dan derajat keparahan ISPA pada balita di wilayah Puskesmas Pelambuan Banjarmasin.Kata - kata kunci : Letak rumah, cerobong asap pabrik karet, derajat keparahan ISPAABSTRACTAcute respiratory tract infections (ARI) is one of the main health problems. The study was observational analytic with cross sectional design. The research subjects consisted of 50 toddlers suffering from ARI recorded at Pelambuan Health Center, selected by simple random sampling. Data were analyzed by chi square test at the 95% confidence level.The results showed that 76% of the subjects lived in the house with a moderate distance to the chimney and 24% at close range. As many as 60% have an attack ARI > 1 time and 48% with moderate severity. Statistical test results obtained relationship between the distance from the house to the chimney with respiratory disease patterns in terms of frequency and severity of attacks of ARI in children under five years in the region Public Health Pelambuan.Key words: distance of the house - a rubber factory chimneys – severity of ARI

ISPA is an infectious disease of the upper and lower respiratory tract which is caused by the entry of microorganisms (bacteria and viruses) into the respiratory tract organs which lasts for 14 days. This study aims to determine the relationship between ventilation, type of house floor, type of fuel. for cooking, completeness of immunization and history of infectious disease against the incidence of ARI in children under five. This type of research is quantitative, using the analytical survey method with a cross-sectional approach. The research location is in the working area of the Alang-Alang Lebar Community Health Center in Palembang City with a total of 78 respondents. The primary data source was obtained by means of a questionnaire and secondary data was obtained from the profile and records of the Alang-Alang Lebar Community Health Center Palembang. Data analysis consisted of univariate and bivariate analysis using the chi square test. The results of the chi square test showed that the variables associated with the incidence of ARI in children under five were ventilation (p = 0.000 ≤ 0.05), and a history of infectious diseases (p = 0.039 ≤ 0.05). Based on the results of the study and discussion, it was concluded that there was a simultaneous relationship between ventilation and a history of infectious diseases simultaneously with the incidence of ARI in children under five in the Alang-alang Lebar Community Health Center Palembang City in 2020.

Coronavirus is a contagious disease caused by the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV 2) virus. Health services for infants and toddlers during the Covid-19 period experienced many changes due to the risk of transmission to either infants or toddlers or health workers. Monitoring under five at risk, immunization services, vitamin A, is carried out by appointment / tele consultation / home visit. Health workers provide their telephone numbers or health facility numbers that can be contacted for tele consultations or appointments if the child requires further monitoring or services. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and perceptions of mothers on the implementation of health services for children under five in Banyumas Regency. The research method uses quantitative methods. This type of research is observational with a cross sectional approach. The number of samples in this study were 30 mothers using simple random sampling technique. Data analysis using chi Square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between maternal knowledge and the implementation of telephoto counseling for toddler health services during the Covid-19 period (p = 0.000 α (0.05)) and there was a relationship between maternal perceptions and the implementation of telephoto counseling for toddler health services with the value at Pademic Covid-19 (p = 0.000 α (0.05)) The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between maternal knowledge and perceptions with the implementation of telephoto health service consultation for children under five during the Covid-19 pandemic.Keywords: Knowledge, Perception, Tele Consultation

Hypertension is one of the number one causes of death and disability in the world. Hypertension contributes nearly 9.4 million deaths from cardiovascular disease each year. Hypertension can cause undesirable effects, it needs good handling, one of them is by doing a hypertension diet. To carry out a hypertension diet requires knowledge, lack of knowledge can increase risk factors for hypertension. This study aims to determine the relationship of the level of knowledge about hypertension diet to the incidence of hypertension in the elderly at the Baloi Permai Public Health Center Batam City. This research method is an analytic observational with a cross-sectional approach conducted at the Baloi Permai Public Health Center Batam City 2018. Sampling technique is a total sampling with a sample of 64 people in 2018 determined by inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of the study were analyzed with frequency distribution and then tested with the Chi-square test. Based on the results of this study indicate that of the 64 respondents found elderly who have a good level of knowledge are 41 people (64.1%), 48 people (75.0%) have an age range between 60-70 years. 27 people (42.2%) elderly have the last high school education and 40 people (62.5%) have jobs as entrepreneurs. Elderly people who have normal blood pressure are 40 people (62.5%), and those affected by hypertension are 24 people (37.5%). The elderly who have a family history of hypertension is 21 people (32.8%) and those who do not have a history of hypertension are 43 people (67.2%). Chi-Square Test analysis results show the significance value p = 0.009. This number is significant because the p-value is smaller than the significance level (α) ≤ 5% (0.05), so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship about the level of knowledge about the hypertension diet to the incidence of hypertension in the elderly. From the results of this study it was concluded that there was a relationship between the level of knowledge about the hypertension diet and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly at the Baloi Permai Public Health Center Batam City in 2016.
