Response The Growing Consumption Woof and Adult Of Genders Age Which is Resulted by  Crosswise Mating Of Hybrid Quail  With Coturnix coturnix japonicaAbstract. Quail (Coturnix coturnix japonica) is the most popular type of poultry besides chickens and ducks in Indonesia that are favored by poultry farmers. But the main obstacle in the development of quail is the lack of availability of quail seeds from crosses with a clear breeding structure that is feared to occur inbreeding. So it is necessary to do a hybrid quail cross breeding study with Coturnix coturnix japonica on its derivative growth. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Hybrid quail crosses on growth, feed consumption, body weight gain and adult age of hereditary sex. The results showed that Hybrid quail crossing with Coturnix coturnix japonica had no significant effect (P 0.05) on feed consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion and age of first laying eggs. However, the results of Coturnix coturnix japonica male Hybrids with Hybrid females show that feed conversion rates tend to be more efficient and the age of first laying is faster.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the potential of two probiotic preparations, containing live lactic acid bacteria (Lactococcus lactisCECT 539 andLactobacillus caseiCECT 4043) and their products of fermentation (organic acids and bacteriocins), as a replacement for antibiotics in stimulating health and growth of broiler chickens. The effects of the supplementation of both preparations (with proven probiotic effect in weaned piglets) and an antibiotic (avilamycin) on body weight gain (BWG), feed intake (FI), feed consumption efficiency (FCE), relative intestinal weight, and intestinal microbiota counts were studied in 1-day posthatch chickens. The experiments were conducted with medium-growth Sasso X44 chickens housed in cages and with nutritional stressed Ross 308 broiler distributed in pens. Consumption of the different diets did not affect significantly the final coliform counts in Sasso X44 chickens. However, counts of lactic acid bacteria and mesophilic microorganisms were higher in the animals receiving the two probiotic preparations (P<0.05). In the second experiment, although no differences in BWG were observed between treatments, Ross 308 broilers receiving the probioticLactobacilluspreparation exhibited the lowest FCE values and were considered the most efficient at converting feed into live weight.

Backgrounds: Broiler chickens are high productivity livestock. To achieve this productivity, many farmers provide feed additives. Fermented milk is one of the feed additives given through drinking water. Providing feed additives, regularly, will affect the performance of these broilers. Purpose: To investigate the potential of providing fermented milk through drinking water on the performance of broiler chickens. Method: Direct observations and perform calculations on several aspects that support the research. Result: After making observations, it was known that there are differences in the starter phase and the finisher phase. The observation was carried out from the age of 0-27 days. Broiler performance determined by the parameters of feed consumption, chicken body weight, and feed conversion. Conclusion: The observation shows an increase in feed consumption. However, in feed conversion and body weight gain instability is caused by physical conditions, temperature, and palatability in each phase of the broiler chickens.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving golden snail meat flour in broiler rations aged 2-5 weeks to the appearance of broiler chickens and to find out what level of golden snail meat flour can give the results of body weight gain, final body weight, feed consumption, and conversion best ration. This study used a Completely Randomized Design with 5 treatments and 3 replications for each treatment. The five treatments were rations without the content of golden snail meat flour as control and rations containing golden snail meat flour 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%. The parameters observed were bodyweight gain, final body weight, feed consumption, and FCR (Feed Conversion Ratio). The data obtained were analyzed by analysis of variance. If between treatments showed a real difference, then proceed with Duncan's test. The results of the study of the addition of golden snail meat flour (Pomacea canaliculata) in broiler chicken rations had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on the research variables' weight gain, final body weight, and lower FCR. Whereas the consumption of rations had a significant effect (P<0.05). In treatment R2 (10%) gave better results than other treatments (R0, R1, R3, and R4). This means that the treatment of giving golden snail meat flour in the ration apparently can increase the weight gain of broiler chickens. This is because the golden snail contains quite high protein. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the administration of golden snail meat flour (Pomacea canaliculata) in broiler rations has a very significant effect on increasing weight gain, final weight, and decreasing FCR and significantly influencing ration consumption.

This study was conducted in order to find out the effect of Spirulina platensis (S. platensis) algae mixed with drinking water (2%) on the production performance of broiler chickens infected with or without Enterococcus faecalis (E. faecalis) and compare it with the effects of probiotics (containing Lactobacillus acidophilus, L. casi, L. reuteri, and Bacillus subtillis), prebiotics (containing antioxidants and a group of vitamins) as well as oxytetracycline. The experiment included 350 one day old (Ross-308) broiler chicks, randomly divided into 7 groups by 50 chicks per group for 35 days. The groups were divided as follows: T1: infected experimentally with E. faecalis only, T2: treated with S. platensis, T3: infected experimentally with E. faecalis and treated with 2% S. platensis, T4: infected experimentally with E. faecalis and treated with probiotic, T5: infected experimentally with E. faecalis and treated with prebiotic, T6: infected experimentally with E. faecalis and treated with oxytetracycline. T7: control group without any addition. Weekly live body weight and weekly body weight gain were measured as well as weekly feed intake and feed conversion rate for broiler chickens were estimated. The current study proved that S. platensis algae added to drinking water (2%) in T2 and T3 groups had caused a significant increase (P<0.05) in the weekly live body weight and weekly body weight gain, Spirulina also caused a significant decrease (P<0.05) in weekly feed intake and feed conversion rate for broiler chickens. Therefore, S. platensis could be a suitable alternative to some feed additives such as probiotics, prebiotics, and antibiotics in addition to the ability of Spirulina to reduce the symptoms of E. faecalis.
