This study aims to improve students learning activities and learning outcomes of Geography through jigsaw model in class X IIS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Kuala Kapuas. The application of jigsaw model in class X IIS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Kuala Kapuas was supposed to have positive impact on building learning activities and learning outcomes of students in the process of learning Geography, in particular ‘atmosphere’ materials.This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The design of study used the model proposed by Suharsimi consisting of 4 stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were students of class X IIS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Kuala Kapuas with a total of 18 students. The implementation of action of each cycle was done using Jigsaw model.The method used in data collection was observation. The research instrument used was in the form of observation sheet. Observation method was conducted to observe students activities during the course. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive technique. Indicators of success in this study were normative criteria, i.e. when there is an increase after the action. In this research,  the teacher applied Jigsaw model, grouping groups of origins, groups of experts, discussion and presentation.The results of this study concluded that: (1) student activities increased from 72% of less active category to 94.6% of active category, (2) student learning outcomes increased from 74.66% to 80.55%. Thus, the application of jigsaw model can improve student activities and student learning outcomes of Geography in class X IIS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Kuala Kapuas.Keywords:  Jigsaw model, student activities, learning outcomes, geography matter

This study aims to determine whether the use of learning model Listening Team can improve student learning outcomes. This research is a classroom action research conducted at SD Negeri 101768 Lesson Year 2015/2016. Subject of this research is student of class III which amounted to 24 people. Technique of collecting data is done by test method and observation method. Effectiveness research indicators in this assessment include student activities during learning activities and students' learning completeness in a classical way. The results showed the effectiveness of student learning reviewed through learning mastery that is equal to 83.3%. Increase in review through the learning activities of students is 92%. Based on the details of the results of the above research, then learning to use learning model Listening Teams in third grade students SD N 101768 TP 2015/2016 can improve student learning activities and improving student learning outcomes in terms of mastery of student learning classically on money history materials in Social Studies subjects.

The purpose of this study was to determine the activities of students in the basic learning activities of sewing technology using video media, to determine the learning outcomes of basic students of sewing technology using video media, and to determine students' responses to the basic learning activities of sewing technology using video media. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The learning method is implemented using the direct learning method. Data collection techniques use observation to get data about student activities, performance tests to determine student learning outcomes, and questionnaires to determine student responses. Data analysis using quantitative descriptive. The results showed that student activities which include preliminary, core, and closing activities were said to be very good with an average value of 93% in the first cycle and rose to 96% in the second cycle. Student learning outcomes reached 73% grade completeness in the first cycle and rose to 82% in the second cycle. The average percentage of success in cycle I and II was 77% in the good category. The results of students' responses stated that they agreed that video media made them have a high willingness to participate in learning by 56%, with 47% of students strongly agree that learning with video media was very interesting and not boring, 58% agreed that it was easier to understand learning materials with video media, and 39% agree that video media motivate students to excel.

This study aims to describe the improvement of teachers' teaching ability, student learning activities, and student learning outcomes in the subjects of English at MTs Negeri Model Sorong. Subjects of this study are English teachers and the eighth grade students of MTs Negeri Model Sorong in Academic Year 2015/2016. This research is a Lesson Study-based School Action Research using a qualitative approach. Data are collected through observation, documentation, and test. The findings are that the application of Lesson Study provides a positive impact on upgrading teachers' professional skills at MTs Negeri Model Sorong. This improvement has an important impact on student motivation and learning outcomes in the English subject.Keywords: Lesson study, teaching ability, learning activities, learning outcome, English

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) kualitas proses perkuliahan Fisika Matematika I, (2) peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Fisika Matematika I dengan menggunaan modul dan lembar kerja mahasiswa (LKM) melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif, dan (3) mengetahui respon mahasiswa terhadap pelaksanaan perkuliahan Fisika Matematika I. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Data tentang proses perkuliahan digali melalui aktivitas belajar mahasiswa dan dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi, data hasil belajar mahasiswa dikumpulkan dengan metode tes, dan data respon mahasiswa dikumpulkan dengan angket. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Temuan penelitian ini adalah kualitas proses perkuliahan membaik dan hasil belajar mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan, sedangkan respon mahasiswa terhadap strategi perkuliahan yang diterapkan positif.   The purpose of this research is to know (1) the quality of lecturing process of Mathematics Physics I, (2) improvement of student learning outcomes in Physics Mathematics I course by using module and student worksheet through cooperative learning model, and (3) to know student response on the implementation of the lecture of Mathematical Physics I. This research is a classroom action research. Data about the lecturing process is explored through student learning activities and collected by observation method, student learning result data collected by test method, and student response data collected by questionnaire. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings of this research are improved quality of lecturing process and student learning outcomes have increased, while the student response to lecture strategy applied positively.

                                                       ABSTRACT Implementation of learning at the university level is expected to be conducted interactively and motivate students to participate actively in learning activities. But the reality in learning, still found learning problems about the low learning activities and student learning outcomes. While as an educator, lecturers should be able to know the problems in the learning process or lectures as an effort to improve the quality of learning. Solution to overcome the problem is by giving learning with Contextual Teaching and Learning approach (CTL) through observation method applied in Basic Ecology subject.The purpose of this research is to improve student achievement in Basic Ecology subject through learning with CTL approach and observation method. Expectations from the results of this study is as an information or input that the strategy and learning model with the method of observation can overcome the lack of activity and low student learning outcomes caused by the dominance of female students and the diversity of high school students so that the classroom climate is often noisy and reduced concentration at the time of learning. This research is experimental research, with one class of experiment of Biology student of FKIP Univet Bantara Sukoharjo second semester of class of 2016/2017 taking Basic Ecology subject. The data were collected using observation and test sheets. Technique of data analysis using T test analysis. From the analysis with T test Paired sample for two groups of dependent or pairs on pretest and postes data obtained Asymp results. Sig (2 -tailled) below 0.05 is 0.00 then Ho is rejected. This means that there are significant differences in learning outcomes before (pretest) and after CTL learning with the method of Observation (postes) in Basic Ecology subject especially on the subject matter of Population and Bird Diversity. Thus, it can be concluded that learning CTL with Observation method can improve student achievement in Basic Ecology subject especially material Population or bird diversity. The research conducted is Classroom Action Research by using Picture and picture model based on multimedia by internalizing character education on civic education Subject, State IV State Elementary Matter Material 040448 Kabanjahe Lesson Year 2016/2017.The location of this research is SD Negeri 040448 Kabanjahe. The subjects in this study were third-grade students of SD Negeri 048232 Kabanjahe which amounted to 49 students and as an object is an improvement of learning on the material of State Coat by using Picture and picture model based on multimedia.Data Collection Techniques are Observation Sheet Teachers and Observation Sheets of student activities. Data analysis techniques used were observation and test sheets.Based on the research that has been done then the implementation of learning activities of teachers 80% (good category), the implementation of learning activities 87 students (good category), and student learning outcomes 85% classically, and the average value 82.From the results of this study can be concluded that the implementation of learning included into both categories, and student learning outcomes have been increased and completed in a classical manner using the Picture and picture model based on multimedia to Improve Student Results on civic education Subjects, State IV State Elementary School 040448 Kabanjahe Lesson Year 2016/2017.

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes of PAI through the Group Investigation learning model. This research is a classroom action research conducted at SDN 003 Tasik Juang. The subjects of this study were 30 people. The research will be carried out from August to September 2019. The research instrument used was an observation sheet and a test of learning outcomes. The results showed an increase in student learning activities and outcomes with a percentage of student activities in the first cycle of 57.5% with enough categories increased to 72.5% with a high category, student learning outcomes in the first cycle showed as many as 17 students or 56.7% who meet the KKM value set with an average learning outcome of 64.5 which is included in the category of being increased in the second cycle which shows as many as 24 students or 80% have met the KKM with an average of 75.3 which is included in the high category. Based on these results it can be concluded that the learning model of Group Investigation can improve the learning outcomes of PAI SDN 003 Tasik Juang students.

<p>This research is a classroom action research (CAR) aimed at improving student activity and learning outcomes through the application of contextual approaches to Listening Children Story  Learning. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII. B SMP 10 Depok in the academic year 2017/2018, amounting to 35 people. The object of this research is the preparation of student learning, student activities in learning, and student learning outcomes in the learning model applied. The results of this study indicate that the application of contextual learning in listening to children's story learning can improve student learning activities and outcome.<strong> </strong></p>

The purpose of the study was to describe: the application of the ARCS model of learning mathematics using STAD and NHT in SMP Negeri 3 Malang Ampelgading, activities of teachers and learning activities of students during the learning process, as well as student learning outcomes and student motivation. The approach taken in this study is a qualitative and quantitative approach. The experiment was conducted in the first semester of 2013-2014 academic year on 28 October to 16 November 2013 in which the application of the ARCS model of learning using STAD and NHT to see the activities of the teacher and student learning activities as processes of learning, student learning outcomes are seen from individual tasks and daily test as well as the student's motivation to learn the subject while in the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Malang Ampelgading as objects. Instrument used is the observation sheet to see the activities of teachers and students’ learning activities, individual assignments and daily test to look at student learning outcomes and questionnaire to see the students' motivation . The results showed that: 1) the application of the ARCS model of learning mathematics using STAD and NHT in SMP Negeri 3 Malang Ampelgading accomplished in accordance with the RPP planned despite having some problems at the beginning of the meeting, 2) the activities of teachers and students' learning activities always have improvement in every meeting, in which the first meeting activities better teacher in class VIII-A, the second meeting better in class VIII-B and the third meeting has the same score, while for student activities, class VIII-B is always more better than VIII-A, 3) there is no difference in learning outcomes between students of class VIII-A that is taught using STAD and the ARCS model of class VIII-B are taught using a model ARCS and NHT, 4) there is no difference between the learning motivation of class VIII-A students who are taught using STAD and the ARCS model of class VIII-B are taught using a model ARCS and NHT .
