AbstractThe high Open Unemployment Rate for secondary education in South Kalimantan is 7.73%, indicating that the results of high school and vocational education have not met their goals. The method used is a cross-sectional method, with research data in 2018, which is converted in the form of present value. Data collection tools are questionnaires. The results showed that: (1) the average direct personal costs of high school students were greater than the vocational school students, namely Rp9,076,630.00 > Rp8,947,133.33 in Banjarmasin City, and Rp11,521,000.00 > Rp3,687,333.33 in Banjar Regency, on the contrary in Banjarbaru City the average direct personal costs of high school students were smaller than those of  vocational education students, namely Rp11,606,133.33 < Rp13,379,666.67; (2) indirect student personal costs are Rp35,958,000.00 per year; (3) the main income of senior high school and vocational high school graduates per year is Rp82,800,000.00 for the highest income, and the lowest is Rp26,640,000.00; (4) there is no difference in individual economic service fees between high school and vocational high school graduates, with a price of -tcount> -ttable or -0.208> -2.007, with p > 0.05.Keywords: student personal costs, employee income, individual economic benefits AbstrakTingkat Pengangguran Terbuka yang tinggi untuk pendidikan menengah di Kalimantan Selatan yaitu 7,73%, mengindikasikan bahwa hasil pendidikan SMA dan SMK belum memenuhi sasarannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode cross-sectional, dengan data penelitian tahun 2018, yang dikonversi dalam bentuk present value. Alat pengumpul data adalah kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) rata-rata biaya personal langsung siswa SMA lebih besar daripada siswa SMK, yaitu Rp9.076.630,00 > Rp8.947.133,33 di Kota Banjarmasin, dan Rp11.521.000,00 > Rp3.687.333,33 di Kabupaten Banjar, sebaliknya di Kota Banjarbaru rata-rata biaya personal langsung siswa SMA lebih kecil daripada siswa SMK, yaitu Rp11.606.133,33 < Rp13.379.666,67; (2) biaya personal tidak langsung siswa adalah Rp35.958.000,00 per tahun; (3) penghasilan utama karyawan tamatan SMA dan SMK per tahun adalah Rp82.800.000,00 untuk penghasilan tertinggi, dan terendah Rp26.640.000,00; (4) tidak ada perbedaan imbal jasa ekonomi perorangan antara karyawan tamatan SMA dan SMK, dengan harga -thitung > -ttabel atau -0,208 > -2,007, dengan p > 0,05.Kata Kunci: biaya personal siswa, penghasilan karyawan, imbal jasa ekonomi perorangan.

This study examines the factors determining whether vocational and general high school students in South Korea subsequently graduate from university and, if so, whether from 2-year or 4-year courses, for the first time using a gender lens. High-quality official data from the Korean Education and Employment Panel (KEEP) is used in a multinomial logit model. The results show that coming from a vocational high school (compared to a general high school) is negatively correlated with going to university, especially to 4-year university. Among general high school graduates, the most important determinant of attending a 4-year rather than a 2-year university is the teacher assessment of the student’s performance; father’s education and income have no effect for either males or females. The results also show that vocational high school graduates’ university choice is determined by a combination of individual characteristics, including being male, and by having been at a vocational high school, whereas the choice between 2-year and 4-year university depends negatively on father’s education for males but not for females and on father’s income and the number of siblings for both genders. The income and sibling findings suggest that a possible policy implication might be to provide financial support to vocational high school graduates to enable them to attend higher education and to offset the negative effect of low paternal income.

Background and objective: Current nursing shortages and low willingness of young people to choose nursing as a career are of major concern in many countries. This study examined the knowledge, attitude and intention towards the nursing profession among high school graduates in China and factors associated with graduate’ intention to enroll in nursing program.Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted using a random sampling. A total of 3764 high school graduates of selected schools in Central China participated in the study. Data were collected with online survey including demographics, knowledge of and attitude towards nursing and intention to choose nursing. Pearson’s correlations and Hierarchical regression analyses were performed.Results: Less than 10% of the participants expressed interest in a future career in nursing. Knowledge and attitude about nursing were positively associated with intention to study nursing. Both patents’ education, family income and attitude significantly predicted intention to study nursing in the hierarchy regression model (p < .001).Conclusions: Recruitment and retention strategies need to focus on addressing improving knowledge about the roles of nurse among high school students. Nursing administrators and educators should provide information about nursing profession on Websites and social media or programs for high school students with early clinical exposure to nursing to increase their knowledge and change their attitudes toward nursing.

<div><p><strong>Abstrak.</strong> <span lang="EN-US">Resiliensi merupakan kemampuan yang penting untuk dimiliki remaja, dikarenakan tanpa adanya resiliensi maka remaja akan kesulitan dalam menjalani hidup yang berakibat tidak bisa mengaktualisasikan diri, prestasi diri tidak optimal dan cenderung menjadi pribadi yang pesimistis bahkan dapat menderita depresi Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan resiliensi generasi Z melalui konseling kelompok berbasis Kearifan Lokal Tembang Macapat Sinom. Tembang macapat sinom berasal dari Jawa Tengah yang kaya akan falsafah kehidupan yaitu menjalani masa muda dengan penuh semangat, tegar, sabar dan pantang menyerah dalam menuntut ilmu, berkarya dan menjalani kehidupan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan konseling kelompok mendukung adanya perubahan resiliensi siswa yang rendah menjadi lebih tinggi yang ditandai dengan penerimaan dan adaptasi diri saat dihadapkan dengan tekanan dari dalam diri individu maupun dari luar diri individu. Adanya dinamika kelompok mendukung adanya perubahan anggota kelompok karena adanya kesempatan saling bertukar pikiran, berdiskusi, saling memotivasi dan saling membantu dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis pendekatan metode <em>pre-experimental design</em> dengan menggunakan <em>one group pretest-posttest</em> <em>design</em>. Subyek penelitian adalah remaja Jawa berusia 15-20 tahun yang sesuai dengan kriteria tahap perkembangan remaja (gen Z) yang ditetapkan sesuai fokus penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian wilcoxon diperoleh hasil Z hitung sebesar sebesar -2,807 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,022 yang artinya konseling kelompok berbasis kearifan lokal tembang macapat sinom efektif untuk meningkatkan resiliensi generasi Z.</span></p></div><p><strong>Abstract</strong>. <em><span lang="EN-US">Academic dishonestyis behavior deviating from academic rules carried out by students at various levels of education to get good test results or recognition of their academic assignments by cheating, plagiarism, cooperating in exam fraud, or falsifying data. This article aims to explore and determine the level of student academic dishonestyduring the Covid-19 pandemic seen from differences in gender, grade level and age. The research method used is a survey with a type of cross sectional survey design involving 493 vocational high school students who were selected using cluster sampling technique.. The research data collection instrument uses an academic dishonestyscale. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, t-test and Anova test. The results of the study prove that vocational high school students have a level of academic dishonestyin the medium category. Furthermore, this study found that seen from the gender differences, male students had a higher level of academic dishonestythan female students. The same thing also happens when viewed from each indicator of academic dishonesty. In terms of class differences and age differences, it shows that there is no significant difference between grade 10 and grade 12 students and students aged 15, 16, 17, 18 in the level of academic dishonesty. Further discussion is discussed in this article.</span></em></p>

<p><em><span lang="EN-US">Academic dishonesty</span></em><span lang="EN-US"> yaitu perilaku menyimpang dari aturan akademik yang dilakukan oleh siswa di berbagai jenjang pendidikan untuk mendapatkan hasil ujian atau pengakuan yang baik atas tugas akademiknya dengan jalan mencontek, plagiarisme, bekerja sama dalam kecurangan ujian, maupun memalsukan data. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengekplorasi tingkat <em>adacemic dishonesty</em> siswa pada masa pandemi covid-19 dilihat dari perbedaan jenis kelamin, tingkatan kelas serta usia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu <em>survey</em> dengan jenis <em>cross sectional survey design</em> yang melibatkan 493 siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan yang dipilih menggunakan teknik <em>cluster sampling</em>. Instrumen pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan <em>academic dishonesty</em></span><em><span lang="EN-US"> </span><span lang="EN-US">scale</span></em><span lang="EN-US">. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu analisis deskriptif, uji t-test dan Uji Anova. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa siswa sekolah memengah kejuruan memiliki tingkat <em>academic dishonesty</em> pada kategori sedang. Lebih lanjut penelitian ini menemukan bahwa dilihat dari perbedaan jenis kelamin siswa laki-laki memiliki tingkat <em>academic dishonesty</em> lebih tinggi dari siswa perempuan. Hal yang sama juga terjadi ketika dilihat dari setiap indikator <em>academic dishonesty</em>. Pada perbedaan kelas dan perbedaan usia menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa kelas 10 dan siswa kelas 12 serta siswa berusia 15, 16, 17, 18 dalam tingkat <em>academic dishonesty</em>. The process of preparing students on vocational education that includes the development of skills, competency, understanding, attitudes, work habits and the appreciation needed by workers to enable them to work successfully in their fields should be of interest to educators in vocational education institutions. Early observations of science and the emphasis on authentic assessment suggested that the 2013 curriculum for vocational high school is a renewal or innovation of the previous curriculum. The research is done through descriptive-qualitative re-search method. The population in this study is all teachers of vocational subject vocational competence of building drawing techniques in Bantul Regency. The technique of collecting data through an interview, observation, and documentation, data is analyzed to get a description about research object. The results showed that the selection of strategies and learning approaches should be studied closely, especially in relation to their relevance to learning missions, learning objectives, students' potential and characteristics, and environ-mental resources. Vocational teachers have at least four important roles in developing students' employability skills, namely the role of teachers as demonstrators, as mediators, as evaluators and as competent individuals. Implementation of the 2013 curriculum learning on the competence of building drawing techniques from several previous studies can be concluded to be implemented adequately.

In workplaces, the use of accounting software in business processes is not something new, while most vocational high school graduates still do not understand the use of accounting software. Students who take accounting major, generally have received detailed accounting lessons, but some others are still studied manually. For this reason, trainings are held for Vocational High School students using the methods of: (1) counseling: delivering material in the form of theory. (2) Question and answer; to provide opportunities for participants who still have unclear understanding; (3) Demonstration, in the form of basic accounting material training (basic accounting process manually); (4) Transaction Analysis Practices, and preparation of Financial Statements using Accurate Accounting software. Trainees were students and teachers of Annurmaniayah Vocational School and Budi Mulya Vocational School, Tangerang Banten, and the training was held in the Accounting Laboratory of the Faculty of Economics, University of Prof. Dr. Moestopo (Beragama), on Saturday, March 25, 2017.

Abstrak Masa remaja merupakan masa dimana seorang individu mengalami peralihan yang penuh dengan permasalahan. Salah satu permasalahan pada remaja yang berisiko adalah masalah perilaku seksual remaja. Faktor yang memengaruhi perilaku reproduksi remaja diantaranya adalah faktor keluarga dan pergaulan remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh orangtua dan peer group terhadap konsep diri remaja tentang perilaku seksual pada siswa SMK. Jenis penelitian ini survei analitik dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Responden penelitian ini adalah siswa/siswi dan orangtua SMK Negeri di Kota Semarang sebanyak 387 orang dan diambil dengan purposive sampling. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Chi Square. Hasil menunjukkan Peer group Buruk (73,8), Pola Asuh orangtua Otoriter (57,9%), dan Konsep Diri Baik (68,3). Uji statistik menunjukkan adanya hubungan Peer group dengan konsep diri remaja tentang perilaku seksual di SMK Negeri di Kota Semarang (P= 0,009;C=0,134), 35,5% konsep diri Buruk dengan peer group yang buruk. Ada hubungan Pola Asuh Orang Tua dengan konsep diri remaja tentang perilaku seksual di SMK Negeri di Kota Semarang (P=0,003;C=0,153), 37,9% pola asuh otoriter mengakibatkan konsep diri yang buruk. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pola asuh orang tua dan peer group berhubungan dengan konsep diri remaja terkait perilaku seksual.   Abstract The period for the future of individual transition is full of problems. One of the problems in adolescents who are at issue is the problem of adolescent governance. Factors that influence adolescents are family factors and teenage relationships. This study aimed to determine the effect of parenting and peer grouping on adolescent self-concept about sexual behavior in vocational students. This type of research was analytic survey with cross sectional research design. Respondents of this study were 387 public vocational high school students in Semarang City and taken by purposive sampling. Bivariate analysis used Chi Square test. The results showed the Poor Group (73.8), the Authoritarian Asuhahulu Pattern (57.9%), and the Good Self Concept (68.3). Statistical test shows that there is a relationship between Peer group and adolescent self-concept in Semarang City State Vocational High School (P = 0.009; C = 0.134), 35.5% Bad self concept with poor peer group. There is a relationship between parenting and self-concept in state vocational schools in the city of Semarang (P = 0.003; C = 0.153), 37.9% authoritarian parenting that is bad. This study concluded that parenting and peer group were related to sexual concepts.

Vocational graduates' readiness for selecting careers is an important topic for vocational education research. Although there have been many studies on vocational student career selection readiness, there are only few studies on the roles of teaching quality, social capital, and psychological capital in shaping vocational students' readiness for selecting careers. This study aims to examine the antecedent factors of high school students' readiness for career selection which involve teaching quality, psychological capital, and social capital factors. This study employed the quantitative approach with ex-post facto design. The data were randomly collected from 279 vocational high school students in North Lampung-Indonesia by means of online questionnaires. SEM analysis was carried out in this study to see the effects among variables. The results show that readiness for selecting careers is influenced by teaching quality and psychological capital, as social capital does not directly influence student readiness. Besides, psychological capital is influenced by teaching quality and social capital. Then, social capital is influenced by teaching quality. Social and psychological capitals together mediate the effect of teaching quality on the readiness for selecting careers. The research findings present some implications for vocational education practitioners wishing to make further improvements.

For vocational high school graduates to be accepted in business and industry, increasing the ability to use international languages, one of which is English is one of the main goals. Thus, the purpose of this community service is to train the students in understanding presentations appropriately. While the particular objectives are: 1) Improve the knowledge of strategies of writing and presentations in English well; 2) Enrich English vocabulary; 3) Improve writing and speaking skill; 4) Increase self-confidence, and 5) Prepare them to become professional graduates in terms of mastering English. There are thirty students of 12th grade of SMKN 56 North Jakarta participating in this training. The training was conducted within 12 hours, which was divided into three sessions for two days. At each meeting, students were monitored and practiced under the trainers’ guidance. The trainers also showed two examples of good presentations on YouTube. The training techniques are the lecture, discussion, brainstorming, and demonstration / direct practice that train students to understand every step by step in presentation and writing. The results show that students’ self-confidence developed, and vocabulary mastery, writing, and presentation skills increased as well. Out of 30 students, 5 participants delivered a presentation without reading the text. Although the results were not significant, the students had active participation in the discussion and practiced in groups and gave the speech in public. The evaluation result was 38.79 of a 1-4 scale with an excellent category. It is concluded that this training is highly needed and useful for vocational students.

This paper presents an ongoing doctoral study exploring the entrepreneurial intention of pilot public vocational high school students in entrepreneurship development programs in Jakarta, Indonesia. This paper is a preliminary study that employed two methods of data collection, namely questionnaires and interviews. The method allows for triangulation of the data and to establish the reliability and validity of data. Due the Covid-19 pandemic, this study was conducted online to garner information from the participants. The discussion in this paper focuses on the data derived from a questionnaire. Using a purposive sampling method, open-ended questions were posed to 111 students and 60 alumni. Interviews were also conducted with three students using open-ended questions. Data were analyzed inductively by using thematic analysis. The five stages of Creswell's qualitative data analysis were used: arranging and preparing data; reading all data; coding the data; connecting the themes; and interpreting the meaning of those themes. The various themes and sub-themes from the questionnaires and interviews have identified several sub-themes. The findings of the study may be of interest to governments, schools, and researchers. The results will enable those parties to determine the entrepreneurial intention needed to prevent and reduce unemployment among vocational high school graduates.
