Abstract.  This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes and students' science process skills between classes using PBL models based on virtual simulations, PBL models based on practicum, and conventional learning. This quasi-experimental research uses nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research is VIII grade students of MTsN 2 Banjarmasin. The research sample is class VIII E as the control class, class VIII F as the experimental class I, and class VIII G as the experimental class II. Data collection uses test and observation techniques. Data analysis techniques use the Kruskall-Wallis test and descriptive analysis. The results showed that (1) There were differences in knowledge learning outcomes between experimental class I, experimental class II, and control class (2) There were differences in students' science process skills between experimental class I, experimental class II, and control class. Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Virtual Simulation, Practicum, Knowledge Learning Results, Science Process Skills Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar dan keterampilan proses sains siswa antara kelas dengan menggunakan model PBL berbasis simulasi virtual, model PBL berbasis praktikum, dan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini menggunakan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MTsN 2 Banjarmasin. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas VIII E sebagai kelas kontrol, kelas VIII F sebagai kelas eksperimen I, dan kelas VIII G sebagai kelas eksperimen II. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunankan teknik tes dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Kruskall-Wallis dan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat perbedaan  hasil belajar pengetahuan antara kelas eksperimen I, kelas eksperimen II, dan kelas kontrol (2) Terdapat  perbedaan keterampilan proses sains siswa antara kelas eksperimen I, kelas eksperimen II, dan kelas kontrol. Kata kunci: Problem Based Learning,  Simulasi Virtual, Praktikum, Hasil Belajar Pengetahuan, Keterampilan Proses Sains

This study aimed at determining the effect of recycle materials usage for science practicum on students' basic science process skills of the Open University, Surakarta. Recycle materials are the term used for the obtained materials and equipment from the students’ environment by taking back the garbage or secondhand objects into goods or new products which have a benefit for practicum activities. Randomized posttest only control group design was applied in this study and involving 83 students which divided into experimental class and control class. Collected data were science process skills test and questionnaire. The results of this study obtained Kruskal Wallis test result of 0.000<0.05. So, there was effect of recycle materials usage for science practicum on students’ science process skills. Students also provided positive feedback on the use of recycle materials for science lab activities.

Abstract The GI-GI learning model is a combination of the Group Investigation and the Guided Inquiry model. The research aimed to examine the effect of the GI-GI learning model on collaboration and students’ science process skills. The type of research carried out was Quasi-Experimental and used a post-test only control group design and purposive sampling covering four high schools in the Besuki Residency, two classes as the experimental class and the control class. The research instrument used tests, observations, and documentation. The results showed a significant effect of the GI-GI learning model on collaboration and students’ science process skills. This research implies that the GI-GI learning model can condition students to research in groups to interact actively with friends and educators to exchange opinions, knowledge, or experiences, find and solve problems, and hypothesize through investigation, exploration, and discussion outside or inside in class.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji (1) perbedaan pengaruh pembelajaran Desain Busana menggunakan media mood board dan media contoh gambar desain busana terhadap kreativitas dan hasil belajar Desain Busana mahasiswa;  (2) pengaruh positif pembelajaran Desain Busana dengan menggunakan media mood board dibandingkan menggunakan media contoh gambar desain busana terhadap kreativitas desain busana mahasiswa; (3) pengaruh positif pembelajaran Desain Busana dengan menggunakan media mood board dibandingkan dengan menggunakan media contoh gambar desain busana terhadap hasil belajar desain busana mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Pretest-Posttest, Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa kelas A dan D semester 2 di Pendidikan Teknik Busana FT UNY. Hasil t-test menunjukkan pretest mahasiswa kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen hampir sama. Data hasil belajar posttestmenunjukkan selisih skor rata-rata antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berkategori sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil nilai rata-rata diperoleh bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil kreativitas mahasiswa yang signifikan.Kata kunci: media mood board, hasil belajar, desain busana THE IMPACT OF USING MOOD BOARD MEDIA TO  FASHION DESIGN KNOWLEDGE ON FASHION  DESIGN ENGINEERING STUDENTSAbstractThis research aimed to examine (1) the effect of differences in learning to use media Fashion Design mood board and fashion design drawings media examples in creativity and Fashion Design student learning outcomes; (2) the positive influence of learning by using media Fashion Design mood board than using media examples fashion design drawings for the creativity of fashion design students; (3) a positive influence of learning by using media Fashion Design mood board compared to using the media sample images for learning outcomes of Fashion Design student. This research is a quasi-experimental research with pretest-posttest design, Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This research uses experimental class and control class. The research population was a student of class A and D in the 2nd half of Technical Fashion Education Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State of University. t-test results indicate student pretest control class and experimental class is almost the same. Data posttest study results show the difference in average scores between the experimental class and control class category is very high. Based on the results of the average value obtained that an increase in the creativity of the students are significant.Keywords: fashion mood boards, learning outcomes, fashion design

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes achieved by students on the subjects of Basic Electrical and Electronics which is below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) set a school that is 75 This is presumably because they are learning is often used during the learning model is applied directly proven yet effective. The purpose of this research is to reveal how much influence the Jigsaw cooperative learning model to study the results of class X students on subjects TAV Basic Electricity and Electronics. This research is an experimental study with a draft Post-test only control group design. The sample were students of class X TAV at SMK 1 Padang Academic Year 2014 / 2015. Class experiment is treated using Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model and the control group is a class that uses the direct teaching model. The data is taken from the test results in the form of learning about the objective as many as 31 items. Data were analyzed manually to test for normality, homogeneity testing, and hypothesis testing. The result of the calculation hypothesis at significance level α = 0.05 was found that t count> t table is 3.35> 1.670. The results of these tests give an interpretation that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, this means that on average significantly experimental class learning outcomes greater than the average control class learning outcomes.  Key words :   Models of Learning, Jigsaw, Learning Direct, Post-test only control group design, Learning outcomes, Experimental, and Control.

Process skills are very important to be trained for students in the learning process because process skills have a role to help students in developing their minds, provide opportunities to make discoveries, improve memory, and help students learn scientific concepts. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of inquiry-based learning on students' science process skills in the buffer solution material. The research method used a quasy experiment with a research design Posttest Only Control Group Design, which consists of an experimental class and a control class. The results showed that inquiry-based learning with V-diagrams had a higher score of student science process skills than those using inquiry-based learning alone. Generally the inquiry-based learning with V-diagrams is more effective than inquiry-based learning for students' science process skills.

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar dan minat siswa untuk mengulang pelajaran yang telah dipelajarinya. Mengatasi masalah tersebut penulis melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran Make A Match dan Index Card Match. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran Make A Match dan Index Card Match. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen, dengan rancangan penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Koto XI Tarusan dan yang terpilih sebagai kelas sampel adalah kelas VIII.2 dan kelas VIII.3. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pretest dan posttest. Bentuk tes yang digunakan adalah tes uraian. Hasil analisis butir soal diperoleh soal tes reliabel dengan reliabilitas tes adalah r_11=0,8421. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t satu arah diperoleh thitung = 3,17 dan ttabel = 1,676 karena thitung> ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa menerapkan strategi pembelajaran Make A Match lebih baik dari peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa menerapkan strategi pembelajaran Index Card Match pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Koto XI Tarusan Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017.Kata Kunci: Make A Match, Index Card Match, hasil belajar.AbstractThe background of the research is caused by student learning outcomes and interest in learning to review the lesson that is still low. This study aimed to determine the achievement of the mastery of science process skills of students who are trained in integrated learning disaster risk reduction efforts. This research is an experimental research design with one sample control group design. The sample in this study were 60 students of 7th grade student in SMP N 2 Cangkringan, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. SMP N 2 Cangkringan is located near Merapi Mountain areas. Science process skills data were obtained using a process skills observation sheet that was filled in by the observer. Data analysis was performed descriptively. The results shows that the scientific process skills profile of students who were trained together with the training of volcanic eruption disaster mitigation increased at each meeting. The most significant improvement was observing, followed by predicting skills, communicating skills, and drawing conclusions

This research is a quasy experiment which aimed to finding out the effect of contextual learning model implementation assisted by media flash on the understanding concept of physics in SMPN 1 Labuapi. The population is all class VIII which filled by 117 students, while the sample of this research is class VIII B with 23 students as experiment group and grade VIII C with 23 students as control group. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The research design used is nonequivalent control group design. The hypothesis is tested by t-test separated varians. Based on by calculation hypothesis testing obtained that there is a difference of understanding concept of physics between experiment group which is given treatment with contextual learning model assisted by media flash and control group which is given treatment as convensional learning. The mean of the posttest for experiment group is greater than control group, so it can be obtained that contextual learning model assisted by media flash given positive result for understanding concept of physics in grade VIII SMPN 1 Labuapi. N-gain test given that for all of sub materi of light showed that the increasing of understanding concept of physics of class experiment is higher than control class, so it can be obtained that the increasing of understanding concept of physics of experiment group is higher than control group.

Practical skills play an important role in learning to achieve maximum learning outcomes. Lack of involvement in skills activities has an impact on learning outcomes achieved by students.This study aims to analyze the improvement of science process skills and student learning outcomes by applying the discovery learning model and the use of a virtual laboratory. The research method was a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population was 165 students of class XI IPA who came from two schools. The research sample was 113 students, 57 experimental group and 56 control group. This research was conducted in MAN 1 and MAS Oemar Diyan Aceh Besar, Aceh, Indonesia. The research was conducted in the even semester of the 2019/2020 Academic Year. The parameters measured were science process skills and learning outcomes, data collection instruments were multiple choice questions with pretest-postest techniques. Science process skills data and learning outcomes were analyzed using parametric statistics using the independent sample t test. The results showed the correlation between science process skills and student learning outcomes was obtained r = 0.842, this indicates that between science process skills and student learning outcomes has a positive corelation with strong interpretation after being taught with the application of discovery learning models and the use of virtual laboratory on excretory system topic

This research was about the implementation of the ICARE (Introduction-Connect-Apply-Reflect-Extend) learning model to the science process skills compared to the DI (Direct Instruction) learning model. This research was a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The population was all students of class X MIPA SMAN 4 Banjarmasin with sample consist of 2 classes selected by cluster random sampling, X MIPA 2 as an experimental class and X MIPA 4 as a control class. Data collection techniques were used test (instruments test description question) and observation technique like using the science process skills instrument. Data analysis using t-test obtained tcount larger than ttable at the 0.05 level of significance, ie 5.9 > 2.0, it means that there were a differenct in science process skills aspect between students who had learned with the ICARE learning model and the DI learning model. Students’ science process skills enhancement in the experimental class have a gain value of 0.61 in the medium category and in the control class have a gain value of 0.40 in the medium categoryKeywords: ICARE, science process skill, electrolyte and non electrolyte solution
