 Indonesian society today does not show a great interest in the agricultural sector. Even though, there is one regency in West Java which have a highest population working in agricultural sector, that is Cianjur Regency. Agrofarm Cianjur is one of P4S (Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian dan Pedesaan Swadaya) in Cianjur Regency which do training cultivation and marketing of horticultural commodity, then there are farmers group which called Agro Segar. With the formation of Agrofarm Cianjur as a unity with different focus and function, it is important to look at the business model of Agrofarm Cianjur so it can be used as an inspiration for agricultural actors. This research uses qualitative research design with case study technique. The analytical tool used is value network mapping with Holo Mapping analysis and Business Model Canvas used to describe the applied business model. The description of business model is obtained through business design process with storytelling technique, visual thinking, and prototyping. Based on the results of research, business model of Agrofarm Cianjur is quite advanced and can be used as an inspiration for agricultural actors. Agrofarm Cianjur needs to add partners and resources, and update the administrative accounting which is still manual. Keywords: Canvas Business Model; Farmers Group; P4S; Value Network Mapping.

<span>Crowdfunding allows entrepreneurs raise fund to help subsidizing their project. In other country, crowdfunding platform has become famous. In the contrary, it is yet to be trend in Malaysia. Financing using internet still irrelevant among Malaysian citizen. Without a proper guideline and strong crowdfunding platform based in Malaysia as a benchmark, it is hard to convince entrepreneurs and funders to consider crowdfunding as an option to fund a project. This research thus proposed business model canvas which can be applied by the crowdfunding platform organizations to manage their business and operation more efficiently. Case study method has been employed with two techniques of data collection: interview and document review. Two crowdfunding platforms based in Malaysia participated in the case study. The findings show that both crowdfunding platforms have fundamental business model elements that made of a solid foundation as a crowdfunding platform. These results offer insight into crowdfunding environment and how it links to another necessary part of business for it to function as a successful business. Nine building blocks fits well in the crowdfunding platform business model elements namely partner network, core competency, key resources, value proposition, customer relationship, distribution channel, customer segments, cost structure and revenue stream. Interestingly, the findings revealed another imperative element that should be part of the canvas: risk management.</span>

On-campus retailing is a spread practice, but academia has almost underestimated its potential. Nevertheless, not every type of retail activity adds value to customers and society. When the proposed value is society-driven and sensitive to consumers' wellbeing, customers' engagement increases. One business model, through which it is possible to exploit the benefits of on-campus retailing by adding social value, is the Yunus Social Business. This is a case-based study aiming to describe, through the Social Business Model Canvas, the founding of an organic shop within a university that is supplied by administrative staff of the university that are at the same time also local farmers. Further, the shop aims to resell organic food to university staff and students. The case study is theoretically enriched by traditional Porterian frameworks and new service frameworks such as the service-dominant logic by emphasizing the role of value proposition, value co-creation, and value-in-context.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine the business model of a successful social tourism business in Granada, Nicaragua. The study assesses how the business provides an avenue to combat the challenges that restrict certain stakeholders from participating in tourism. The case identifies specific mechanisms, such as investing in the local community’s education and favoring local vendors and merchants, as ways in which social tourism businesses can disseminate value among all stakeholders and create a more equitable form of tourism. Design/methodology/approach The case study method was chosen for collecting and analyzing data. Data include in-depth interviews with business founders, managers and employees, field observation notes, photographic documentation and additional written documents. Data were analyzed using content analysis. Findings The study found that the business was able to produce a high-quality tourism product that disseminated value among all stakeholders. The study also proved the value of the additional building blocks within the Business Model Canvas for Social Enterprise, and the clear distinction between “co-creators” and “beneficiaries.” Originality/value This study uses the Business Model Canvas for Social Enterprise, a model unverified since inception, to analyze a successful social tourism business. It confirms the usefulness of the additional building blocks within the model, and the additional delineations between “co-creators” and “beneficiaries.” Furthermore, the paper recommends these distinctions are extended to all blocks in the canvas, to illustrate the many ways a company can distribute value based on its business model.

The four indicators, occupational personality, information, money and product mechanisms, are assessed in this study. Experts from the Isfahan province’s agricultural sector have focused on the quality method to find an approved e-commerce model for the orchard of products. The qualitative evaluation method in this study is of Delphi carried out in three phases of snowball sampling in five groups of agricultural experts. The results indicate that the main actors in this field consist of three groups, intellectual, realistic and conventional, which areas of similarities, differentiation and prediction. The results from the review run on information, money and product indicate that experts in the selection of purchasing, exchange and communication mechanisms, in some respects, agree on similar models of the merchant, manufacturer and brokerage, and in some other areas they have represented new definitions.

The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry is now reaching saturation point in terms of growth, and constantly increasing demand for services can no longer be taken for granted. Customers have lot of options, and firms have to compete for business ever more intensely. In order to provide evidence of best practices in such environments, this paper reports a case study on customer-driven business model innovation. The resulting four-phase process framework is based on findings from a Pan-Nordic ICT service provider's recently implemented R&D project. On the theoretical level, the framework builds on the value-network and resource-based approaches, whereas in practice it may be useful to firms intending to innovate and redesign their business model in an attempt to provide superior customer value.

Objective - The purpose of the research is to explore, to investigate, and to develop a business model in Islamic perspective in microfinance BMT UGT Sidogiri Indonesia. Methodology/Technique - The research developed by qualitative research with a single case study. The content analysis used as the method to analyze the data describes analytic, intuitive, interpretative, textual and strict textual analysis approaches. Findings – The main finding that the framework Islamic business model in perspective Islam proposed previously can be well understanding and applied in BMT UGT Sidogiri. The result showed that there three main building in developing of an Islamic business model consist of the business foundation, business design, and business development. Novelty - The model can be used to optimize the potential business model of Islam in BMT UGT Sidogiri and other microfinance in Indonesia in the future. Winner Perkasa Indonesia Unggul is a SME that sells product based on seaweed processing. The enterprise is trying to improve their business activity on seaweed processing products. The purposes of this research are to identify the existing business model at the enterprise, to evaluate the model, and to generate a new business model prototype with the Business Model Canvas method analysis. This research  is a case study on a company, and conducted in March-May 2016. The data used are primary data in the form of interviews and internal company data, while qualitative analysis used to evaluate the business model, and the SWOT analysis method used to help generating new business model prototype. The results of this research were two alternative of business model prototype for the enterprise’s development in the future. The first alternative is trying to classify new customer segment, and followed by creating the new value proposition. With the additional of new customer segment and the new value proposition, it caused the enterprise to extend the channels by optimalizing technologies, and eventually increase the revenue stream of the enterprise. The second alternative is trying to increase the customer relationship by creating the new value proposition. It will raise the opportunity to make an alliance or partnership for helping the business activity of the enterprise. However, the changes on some parts of the business model will affect the enterprise’s cost structure.

The present work aims to propose a model of knowledge management for agricultural teaching based on ontologies. Through identification of the business model, business processes, intellectual capital and ontologies, the relationships between each of the parts of the model are described, and the technological elements that support it are presented. From the point of view of knowledge management and ontologies, the model that guides the innovative university is developed, where Santa Lucía Campus of the Universidad Politécnica Territorial de Mérida (UPTM) is the case study. This model describes the elements that define the knowledge of an Agricultural Production Unit from the university, so that it can incorporate the know-how of knowledge management and collaborative learning articulated with ICT applied to educational-productive management in the agricultural sector. Ontology is used as the main mechanism to represent knowledge, defining within a context or domain the meaning of the terms and their relationships. Through the model the technological bases and knowledge necessary in the teaching of agriculture in a university nucleus are structured.Keywords: Ontology, Knowledge Management, Agro-business, Business Model.
