<p>Abstract: The objective of this study was to determine how much of the total share, rate<br />of contribution and rate of growth of agriculture sector on regional development in<br />Karanganyar; determine the classification of agriculture sector in Karanganyar using<br />Klassen typology; and knowing the agriculture sector featured in Karanganyar<br />regency. The research location was Karanganyar Regency. The data used in this study<br />is primary data and secondary data. Data analysis methods used were: (1)Analysis of<br />the magnitude of the total share of agricultural subsectors using shift share analysis;<br />(2)Identification of the contribution and the growth rate of agriculture subsector;<br />(3)The classification of agriculture subsector in Karanganyar using Klassen typology;<br />and (4)Identification of featured subsector agricultural sector in Karanganyar using<br />Comparative Performance Index (CPI). The results showed: total share of food crops,<br />plantation subsector, livestock susbector, forestry subsector, and the fisheries<br />subsector respectively 173.644,66 million rupiah; 24.928,24 million rupiah; 56.674,21<br />million rupiah; 829,48 million rupiah; and 1.153,37 million rupiah. Contribution of<br />the food-stuff crops subsector, plantation subsector, animal husbandry subsector,<br />forestry subsector, and fisheries subsector respectively by 66.94%; 8.71%; 23.36%;<br />0.48%; and 0.52%. The growth rate of the food-stuff crops subsector, plantation<br />subsector, animal husbandry subsector, forestry subsector, and fisheries subsector<br />respectively by 6.29%; 6.70%; 5.41%; 3.92%; and 5.16%. Karanganyar animal<br />husbandry subsector is developed and emerging subsector. Food-stuff crops subsector,<br />plantation subsector, forestry subsector, and fisheries subsector were classified in<br />growing subsectors but depressed. The first featured the agricultural subsector based<br />on analysis of the CPI was the food crops subsector.</p><p>Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui besar total share, kontribusi,<br />dan laju pertumbuhan subsektor pertanian terhadap pembangunan Kabupaten<br />Karanganyar, (2) mengklasifikasikan subsektor pertanian di Kabupaten Karanganyar<br />menggunakan tipologi klassen, dan (3) mengetahui subsektor pertanian unggulan<br />Kabupaten Karanganyar. Lokasi penelitian dipilih secara sengaja (purposive) yaitu<br />Kabupaten Karanganyar. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder.<br />Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis shift share, analisis kontribusi dan laju<br />pertumbuhan, analisis tipologi klassen, dan analisis comparative performance index.<br />Hasil penelitian menunjukkan total share subsektor tanaman bahan makanan,<br />subsektor perkebunan, subsektor peternakan, subsektor kehutanan, dan subsektor<br />perikanan Kabupaten Karanganyar masing-masing sebesar 173.644,66 juta rupiah; 24.928,24 juta rupiah; 56.674,21 juta rupiah; 829,48 juta rupiah; dan 1.153,37 juta<br />rupiah. Kontribusi subsektor tanaman bahan makanan, subsektor perkebunan,<br />subsektor peternakan, subsektor kehutanan, dan subsektor perikanan masing-masing<br />sebesar 66,94%; 8,71%; 23,36%; 0,48%; dan 0,52%. Subsektor peternakan Kabupaten Karanganyar merupakan<br />subsektor maju dan berkembang. Subsektor tanaman bahan makanan, subsektor<br />perkebunan, subsektor kehutanan, dan subsektor perikanan diklasifikasikan dalam<br />subsektor berkembang tapi tertekan. Subsektor pertanian unggulan pertama<br />berdasarkan analisis CPI adalah subsektor tanaman bahan makanan.<br /><br /></p><p><br /><br /></p>

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to determine the employment dynamics of agricultural sector in North Sulawesi Province. The research was conducted in Manado (July to August 2010, by using the collecting data as a secondary data research. The data was analyzed using labor share and labor force growth rate.  The result showed that labor share of agriculture sector on the basis of education level was dominated by the level of primary education during the period 2007-2009 but its labor force growth rate had decreased each year in both rural and urban areas. On the age group was dominated by the age of 55 years and above. The  employment growth rate of agriculture sector was decreased by 5.78 percent each year in  the period of 2000-2009. While the fenomena employment in non-agricultural sector was increased by 1.78 percent each year. This result indicated that there was tendency of structural transformation of agriculture sector to non-agricultural sector. The low tendency of trade will be able to influence farmers to reduce or to stop the agribusiness activities that will affect the size of the agiculture labor force share. This research is secondary data research in the agricultural sub-sectors, those are food crops, horticulture, plantations, animal husbandry, agriculture and hunting services, forestry and logging, and fisheries in Pekalongan Regency in 2013-2017. The purpose of this research is to analyze the classification of growth and the contribution of plantations sub-sector production. This research used analysis tools, they were Klassen Typology and Contribution Production of superior products in each district. The results of this research show growth classification consist of four quadrants: quadrant I that doesn’t have advanced agricultural sub-sectors. Quadrant II contained horticultural crops, forestry and logging, and fisheries, while in Quadrant III there were plantation crops, and in Quadrant IV there were food crops, livestock, and agricultural and hunting services. Pekalongan Regency has 19 districts, with 15 products of plantation crop. Contribution Production shows that Paninggaran District had the highest contribution of plantation crops in the Pekalongan Regency.Keywords: Agriculture Sub Sector, Growth Classification, Contribution

The agricultural sector is one of the leading sectors in Pandeglang Regency. This study aims to describe the process of preparing and implementing agricultural sector budgets, analyzing the effect of agricultural sector and labor of the agricultural sector expenditure toward the growth of the agricultural sector regionally in Banten Province, and then formulating appropriate strategies in budget allocation and agricultural sector development. This study uses secondary data and primary data with descriptive analysis tools, regression analysis using panel data, and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the agricultural sector has become a priority in various planning documents in Pandeglang District including RPJP, RPJMD, and RKPD Pandeglang District. Then from the result of regression analysis using panel data, it is resulted that government expenditure for agriculture sector have positive and significant effect toward PDRB of agriculture sector. Meanwhile, the labor of agricultural sector has negative and significant effect toward GDP of agriculture sector. From the results of objectives 1 and 2 and supported by primary data through in-depth interviews could be formulated 10 strategies of budget allocation and development of agricultural sector in Pandeglang Regency.Keywords: Strategy, Agricultural Sector, Budget

Agriculture sector becomes a spotlight because this sector will be full of potential but the welfare of farmers who become the leading actor is not guaranteed and has a poor tendency. The purpose of this study is to formulate strategies to strengthen farmers' groups in order to create the marketing of the agricultural sector that benefit farmers. The method used to achieve this goal is to use a qualitative approach and Analytical Network Process. In addition to the secondary data obtained from several agencies, this study also uses primary data obtained by in-depth interviews and observations. This research results a priority of aspects of the institutional strengthening of farmer groups as well as priority issues and priorities of the solution of each aspect. In addition, the priority of alternative strategies resulted based on the problems and solutions that have been analyzed in order to solve the problems in the institutional strengthening of farmer groups in Demak.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membahas mengenai kinerja subsektor tanaman pangan dan strategi dan kriteria program yang diprioritaskan untuk mengembangkan usahatani tanaman pangan di Kabupaten Kebumen .Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. jenis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis data sekunder dan primer. Kontribusi PDRB paling tinggi di Kabupaten Kebumen adalah sektor pertanian khususnya subsektor tanaman pangan. Namun dari tahun ketahun distribusi subsektor tanaman pangan  menurun. Pada tahun 2009 kontribusi tanaman pangan sebesar 26,65% menurun menjadi 23,66% pada tahun 2013. Padahal pemerintah Kabupaten Kebumen mempunyai visi “Kebumen yang Mandiri dan Sejahtera Berbasis Agribisnis”. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer melalui instrumen kuesioner dan wawancara sebanyak 35 orang  dengan 10 key person dan menggunakan data sekunder yaitu instansi terkait dan literatur buku. Penelitian ini menggunakan Analisis Hierarki Proses (AHP).Hasil analisis AHP menunjukkan terpilihnya aspek budidaya (nilai bobot 0,311) sebagai prioritas utama dalam pengembangan tanaman pangan di Kabupaten Kebumen. Sedangkan strategi yang diutamakan adalah pendampingan kepada petani untuk menerapkan teknologi budidaya tanaman pangan yang tepat.  The purpose of this study is to discuss the performance of food crop sub-sector and strategy and criteria of the prioritized program to develop food crop farming in Kebumen District. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research. the type of data in this study using secondary and primary data types. GNP contributions highest in Kebumen is the agricultural sector, especially food crops. But from year to year, the distribution of food crops declined. In 2009 the contribution of food crops amounted to 26.65% decreased to 23.66% in 2013. Where as the government of Kebumen has a vision "Kebumen an Independent and Prosperous Based Agribusiness".This research  uses primary data through questionnaire and interview as many as 35 people with 10 key persons and the use of secondary data that is relevant agencies and literature books. This study uses Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). AHP analysis results showed the election of aspects of culture (the weight value 0.311) as a top priority in the development of food crops in Kebumen. The aim of this research is to know: the reasons of the farmer working as the craftsman, the constraints faced by the farmer as the craftsman, and the large contribution of household income of farmers as a craftsman fibers outside the agricultural sector in Munggu Village. Data collected in this research are primary data and secondary data. Data collection methods used were interviews and questionnaires. The data were analyzed by dividing the household income from the palm craft sector with the total income of the farmer household which was then supplies. Based on the results of the analysis is known most of the respondent farmers work as craftsmen “fibers/palm “ijuk” is for economic reasons. The palm craft sector is an alternative in the effort to supplement household income since the income as a worker of palm oil producers can contribute to the total income of farm households, where the palm craft sector contributes 30,21 of the total income of farm households. The agricultural sector contributed 25,92%. Given the substantial contribution of the palm fiber sector, the work can still be done by the farmers of respondents as long as no other work is considered better in helping to increase the income of farm households.

The porpuse of this research is to know how big result of work outside agriculture sector can give guarantee of survival of farmer's household in Cemagi Village, Mengwi Sub-district, Badung Regency, Bali Province. The method used in the research is purporsive sampling method is a way of determining the location deliberately on the basis of consideration. The village is one of the villages that most of the farmers use their spare time to do work outside the agricultural sector, and no similar research has ever been done. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Data collection methods used were interviews and questionnaires. The data is analyzed by dividing household income from outside agriculture sector with the total income of farmer household and then suppressed. Data the results of the interview if the respondents data interviewed showed that the work outside the agricultural sector utilized by most of the villagers of Cemagi who worked as farmers to improve the welfare of farm households doing work outside the agricultural sector on the sidelines of time to spare. The results of the analysis of respondents if the data data show work outside the agricultural sector that is utilized by most of the people of Cemagi Village who work as farmers to improve the welfare of household farmers as much; 24.05%, doing work outside the agricultural sector on the sidelines of leisure time. The work done include: as a builder of the house accounted for 31.35%, as sand transport workers as much as 24.75%, and the rest there as a truck driver. As hotel employee and villa 28.80 % and as 16.52% of the rest there are as entrepreneurs and others. Looking at the considerable contribution of the carpentry sector, the work can still be undertaken by the farmers of respondents as long as no other work is considered better in helping to increase the income of farm households. Purpose – This study aims to identify the effect of financing provided by banks (both conventional and Islamic bank) to the productivity in the agricultural sector in South Sumatera. This study analysed the forms and mechanisms of finance used by bank in order to find out whether the financing provides the benefit effectively in supporting the productivity of the agricultural sector in South Sumatra or not.Design/methodology/approach – The research used the preliminary data to trace the number of the debtor farmers. The data is from both conventional and Islamic banks in South Sumatera which distributed financing product to MSMEs in Agriculture sector. The secondary data collection was obtained from the banks while primary data was grounded from farmers both through the structured questionnaires and the depth interview. The analysis of this research is in both the descriptive quantitative and the qualitative methods.Findings – The financing in the agricultural sector in South Sumatra is relatively effective for farmers both in terms of increasing their financial gains and in terms of expanding the agricultural property.The results of this study are expected to give the significant figure about how far the financing product of the banks contributes to the increase of productivity of the agricultural sector in South Sumatera.Research limitations/implications – Effectiveness is analyzed by qualitative and descriptive quantitative methods in general, not included in the analysis per farmer. In addition, this study does not use financial ratios in measuring the effectiveness of the provision of financing.Originality/value – The effectiveness of financing in the agricultural sector, especially in sharia banking in Indonesia is still relatively minimal. This research is one way to initiate research which is expected to contribute to the implementation of wider sharia financing in the agricultural sector which now seems not to be the priority of the sharia banking sector in Indonesia.

The agriculture sector is one sector of the economy given a priority in regional development, it’s because most of the population dependent on the sector and asource of income for the majority of the population, thus it’s no wrong if theagriculture sector serves as a support the regional development. The agriculture sector in the district Dairi consists of food crops and horticulture, plantation,animal husbandry, foresty, and fishery. Therefore, the purpose of this study is toanalyze the basis sector and agriculture sector contribution to the gross regionaldomestic product in the district Dairi. This study uses secondary data sourcedform of time series data from 2009 – 2013. The analysis model is a LocationQuotient (LQ) and sector contribution to gross regional domestic product in district Dairi. The result showed that the agriculture sector and the services is abasis sector or have a high role in a local economy. It is characterized by LQ isgreather than one, while other sectors are non basis sector because it has a LQ value smaller than one. In 2013, the agriculture sector provides the largestcontribution in gross regional domestic product structure in the district Dairi is58,47%.

<em>The agricultural sector</em><em> is a strategic sector in Manokwari regency. The agricultural sector provides a major contribution in the regional economy, an economic base of rural people, dominate the life of most residents in this region and provider of food and raw materials for other sectors. The purpose of this study was to determine how big the contribution of different sub-sectors that exist in the agricultural sector, which analyzes sectors influential in changing the economic structure of agriculture in the area and know the potential commodities that can be developed in an effort to enhance the role of the agricultural sector. The research method used through literature study and analysis of secondary data sourced from the relevant authorities. To find out how big the factors that influence changes in economic structures of domination of the agricultural sector into non-agricultural sector estimates used Ordinary Least Square (OLS). For the determination of the potential commodities that can be seeded used method approach Location Quotient (LQ). The results showed the greatest contribution of the different sub-sectors within the agricultural sector contained in the food crops sub-sector. Based on the rate of growth per year, plantation crops sub-sector occupied the highest positions. The sectors that provide real impact on the agricultural sector's contribution to the regional gross domestic product �of the building sector and services sector. Potential commodities that can be developed in different areas in Manokwari regency include food crops and pulses, vegetables and fruits and livestock including cows, goats, pigs and chicken.</em>
