This research is conducted due to by the ongoing occurrence of the students’ low conceptual understanding in the mathematical fraction. The students perceived that mathematical fraction is difficult to understand because the use of learning models is not appropriate in the learning process. This study aims to improve the conceptual understanding of class III students through the application of the Kumon model. The method used in this study is a Class Action Research method by adopting the Kemmis Mc Taggart Model. This research was carried out in three cycles including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 21 students in the third-grade consisting of 17 men and 4women. The researchers employed formative test in each cycle and conducted observation towards the teacher and the students as the data collection technique. The results of the average completeness of student learning through formative tests in cycle I was 69.62 (48%), cycle II was 77.71 (71%), and cycle III was 84.67 (100%). The results of the observation on teacher in each cycle were cycle I was 2.7 (enough), cycle II was 3.2 (good) and cycle III was 4.4 (very good). The results of the observation on students in each cycle were cycle I was 2.6 (enough), cycle II was 3.0 (good) and cycle III was 3.9 (very good). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Kumon model can improve the conceptual understanding of third-grade students of Majalengka Kulon VII Elementary School, academic year of 2016/2017, in Majalengka District, Majalengka Regency.

Mathematics is a scientific discipline that is abstract and full of problems that must be solved. One of the goals of learning mathematics is to encourage students to become problem solvers by thinking critically, logically, and rationally. To achieve this goal, we need the right learning method, namely the expository learning method. The expository method is a learning method that emphasizes the process of delivering material verbally from a teacher to a group of students with the intention that students can master the subject matter optimally. To test whether the expository learning method really has an effect on mathematics learning outcomes, this study aims to: (1) describe whether the expository learning method has an effect on student learning outcomes, (2) describe how much influence the expository learning method has on student learning outcomes. This research uses quantitative research. The method used is the method of documentation and tests. The subjects in this study were all third grade students of SDN Tambakrejo I Krembung, totaling 32 students. The subjects studied were mathematics with multiplication and division material. The results showed that (1) there was a positive and significant effect of the expository learning method on mathematics learning outcomes as indicated by the value of tcount > ttable or 10.29 > 0.05, and (2) the large influence of the expository learning method on learning outcomes. Thus the results of this study indicate that there is a significant and large influence between the expository learning method on the mathematics learning outcomes of third grade students at SDN Tambakrejo I Krembung. So, students, it is easier to absorb mathematics lessons using the expository method.

Learning Mathematics is still a problem for students. This can be seen from the class average score for Mathematics which is lower than the class average for other subjects. The purpose of this classroom action research (CAR) is to find out the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes with concrete media in third grade students of SDN 01 Pageralang Banyumas Regency for the 2019/2020 academic year. In this classroom action research (CAR), it is carried out in 2 cycles. The stages of each cycle are planning, implementation, observation and reflection. In the initial activities of the 22 children, only 8 children or 34.78% had finished studying, while 15 children or 65.21% had not finished learning mathematics, especially the flat field material. From the results of the actions taken, it is proven to be able to increase student learning mastery, namely in the first cycle of 63.7%, it can increase to 95% in the second cycle. The results of this classroom action research indicate that learning with the application of concrete media can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects with completeness reaching 90%.

This study aims to determine the differences and increase in mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade students of Pekanbaru Pekanbaru Elementary School between before (pretest) and after (posttest) applying the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education Approach (PMRI). The research method used was an experiment with the research design of one group pretest-posttest. This research was conducted in class III of SD Negeri 144 Pekanbaru in the odd semester of the 2018/2019 academic year on material money math subjects. The research subjects were class III students, amounting to 21 people. Data on mathematics learning outcomes were collected using a test technique in the form of a multiple-choice objective test. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there are differences and improvements in mathematics learning outcomes of Grade III students of Pekanbaru Pekanbaru Elementary School between before (pretest) and after (posttest) applying the PMRI approach. This is proven based on the results of the data analysis obtained in the study. This difference is based on the results of the t-test. Obtained t-count fulfills the criteria of t count> t table or 4.5881> 2.0423. with the average N Gain of 0.38 included in the medium category. This shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning there are differences and improvements in student learning outcomes. Based on the evidence it can be concluded that implementing Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) has a positive influence on the results of mathematics learning for third-grade students of Pekanbaru Elementary School 144.

This study aims to determine the effect of the discovery learning model on student learning outcomes on the praja Muda Karana theme which was carried out in class III of SD Negeri 105327 Perdamean for the 2020/2021 academic year. There are 60 students in the class, all of them are in the third grade. Saturated sampling was used to collect samples from up to 60 students, who were divided into two groups of 30 and 30 students, respectively. An experimental approach was used in this investigation. The results of statistical analysis showed that the learning outcomes in the experimental class using the Discovery Learning model were in the good category, with an average of 83.2. Meanwhile, without using the control class learning model, learning outcomes were not significantly different from the KKM which was set at an average of 65.3. Because tcount > ttable, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted by t-test, the value of tcount = 5.976 while t-table is 1.697. This shows that the discovery learning model has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of third grade students of SD Negeri 105327 Perdamean for the 2020/2021 academic year. The problem revealed in this study is how effective the Sort Card learning model is on social studies learning towards the learning outcomes of third grade students of Karangroto 04 State Elementary School in Semarang City. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Sort Card learning model on social studies learning on the learning outcomes of third grade students of Karangroto 04 Public Elementary School in Semarang City. This type of research is quantitative. The population in this study were class III students totaling 30 students and the design used for this study using One-Group Pretest-posttest Design. Data collection methods used are observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study revealed the average value of pretest students 43,74 and the average posttest score of students was 88.86. From the calculation using the t-test, it is obtained t_count = 16.034 and ttable = 2.045 with db = 30-1 at the significant level α = 5%, so that t_count > t table is 16,034 > 2,045. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that the sort card model is effective against student learning outcomes. Based on the results of this study the suggestions that can be conveyed are expected teachers can use the sort card learning model in teaching and learning activities, especially social studies subjects
