The paper considers the solution of scientific and practical problem of development and research of control system of parameters of environment of artificial ecosystem, creation of structural and basic electric scheme of system, drawing up of algorithm of its work. The study consists of statistical processing of the results of direct repeated measurements of soluble oxygen level, pH, temperature in the aquarium of the artificial ecosystem, analysis of errors and total standard uncertainty of measurement results, construction of a system with fuzzy logic to determine the impact of aquatic parameters on aquarium water quality. The system makes it possible to measure illuminance up to 45,000 lux, air temperature in the range from 12 to 42 0C, water temperature in the range from 15 to 28 0C, pH level from 5 to 9, dissolved oxygen level from 5 to 10 mg / l, has a proximity sensor , has the ability to turn on, if necessary, heating, water aeration, additional light sources. The measurement error on each of the channels does not exceed 2.5%. The need to create a control system arose due to the fact that there is a need to ensure the natural development of plants and fish in an artificial ecosystem that mimics the environment as close as possible to the natural one. In order for the ecosystem to perform its functions, it is necessary to timely control these parameters and respond quickly to the parameters exceeding the critical values. This task can be accomplished only by creating a control system. In order to bring people closer to the wildlife of exotic countries of the world, you can create corners of wildlife at school, enterprise, institution. An artificial ecosystem, which is a clear and versatile example of wildlife, will help students in the formation of a new culture of relationships with nature, the environment, and allow workers to relax morally by observing wildlife. Such a fruitful rest affects the recovery of people. The artificial ecosystem helps to involve children with talent in research work, in designing projects, performing works related to creativity.

This paper discusses the issue of adjusting the temperature of steam exiting a superheater in an environment that is affected by perturbations due to the sudden and significant fluctuations in the inlet steam temperature. Using the superheater at the Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works as an example, we highlight that a slow response to the aforementioned perturbations in the systems that adjust for deviations leads to undesired rises and drops in the outlet steam temperature. We review the current suggestions on adjusting the temperature of steam exiting a superheater and determine the main reasons behind the drop in adjustment quality. These reasons are related to a significant lag and the variability of the control object’s features, which make preemptive perturbation control difficult. In order to control such environments, we propose a system with two degrees of freedom, which combines a proportional-integral controller and a fuzzy logic-based controller. In the system that we are proposing, the changes in the controlled parameter (depending on the input value) are adjusted within the main loop that has a standard controller and negative feedback, while the perturbations are removed by using a secondary loop, which also has negative feedback, a fuzzy logic-based controller, and a simulation of the object without the component that accounts for the lag. For situations when the information on the object’s features is precise, we describe the specifics of the loops’ interaction, specifically in cases when the task processing loop does not respond to the perturbations in the inlet steam temperature, thus allowing for setting up the loops’ controllers separately. In situations when the inlet steam temperature is experiencing perturbations, the impact of the lag on adjustment quality only becomes evident when the trajectory of the transition process shifts along the time scale by a lag value, which is completely in line with the Smith predictor principles. The system is focused on synthesizing the fuzzy logic rules and refining the parameters of the simulation used for adjustment purposes, based on the results of automated computer-aided control simulation. We propose a structural modification of the control system that makes it possible to compensate for any residual control errors caused by the non-linear structure of the fuzzy controller; this reduces the number of requirements for those set-up parameters where the value selection is based on the needs of simulation modeling, which requires a lot of computing resources. We demonstrate the results of simulation experiments that compare the efficiency of control using the system suggested and the efficiency of control using a system with a standard controller only. The computer simulation was performed in the MATLAB Simulink environment. We reaffirm that a combined control system performs better when adjusting the steam temperature.

The introduction of autonomous cars will help to improve road traffic safety, and the use of a cargo trailer improves the energy efficiency of transport. One of the critical (collision) road situations has been considered, where immediate counteraction is required in a space that has been only partly defined. This research work was aimed at determining the impact of the trajectory planning method and the values of some parameters of the control system on the feasibility of safe avoidance of an obstacle that has suddenly appeared. The obstacle is assumed to be a motor vehicle moving on a road intersection along a collision path in relation to the autonomous car-trailer unit (CT unit) travelling at high speed. Analysis of cooperation between several non-linear models (representing the car, trailer, tyre–road interaction, and driving controller) has been carried out. Mathematical models of the control system and the CT unit have been built. The process of selection of temporary and variable parameters, applied to the control system for the time of the critical situation under consideration, has been shown. The research work carried out has made it possible to recommend appropriate parameter values for the control system.

Novel textiles have received a lot of attention from researchers in the last decade due to some of their unique features. The introduction of intelligent materials into textile structures offers an opportunity to develop multifunctional textiles, such as sensing, reacting, conducting electricity and performing energy conversion operations. In this research work nanocomposite-based highly piezoelectric and electroactive β-phase new textile has been developed using the pad-dry-cure method. The deposition of poly (vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) − carbon nanofillers (CNF) − tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS), Si(OCH2CH3)4 was acquired on a treated textile substrate using coating technique followed by evaporation to transform the passive (non-functional) textile into a dynamic textile with an enhanced piezoelectric β-phase. The aim of the study is the investigation of the impact the coating of textile via piezoelectric nanocomposites based PVDF-CNF (by optimizing piezoelectric crystalline phase). The chemical composition of CT/PVDF-CNC-TEOS textile was detected by qualitative elemental analysis (SEM/EDX). The added of 0.5% of CNF during the process provides material textiles with a piezoelectric β-phase of up to 50% has been measured by FTIR experiments. These results indicated that CNF has high efficiency in transforming the phase α introduced in the unloaded PVDF, to the β-phase in the case of nanocomposites. Consequently, this fabricated new textile exhibits glorious piezoelectric β-phase even with relatively low coating content of PVDF-CNF-TEOS. The study demonstrates that the pad-dry-cure method can potentially be used for the development of piezoelectric nanocomposite-coated wearable new textiles for sensors and energy harvesting applications. We believe that our study may inspire the research area for future advanced applications.

The internet service is provided by a given number of servers located in the main node of internet service provider (ISP). In some cases; the overload problem was occurred because a demand on a given website goes to very high level. In this paper, a fuzzy logic control (FLC) has proposed to distribute the load into the internet servers by a smart and flexible manner. Three effected parameters are tacked into account as input for FLC: link capacity which has three linguistic variables with Gaussian membership function (MF): (small, medium and big), traffic density with linguistic variables (low, normal and high) and channel latency with linguistic variables (empty, half and full); with one output which is the share server status (single, simple and share). The proposed work has been simulated by using MATLAB 2016a, by building a structure in the Fuzzy toolbox. The results were fixed by two manners: the graphical curves and the numerical tables, the surface response was smoothly changed and translates the well-fixed control system. The numerical results of the control system satisfy the idea of the smart rout for the incoming traffics from the users to internet servers. So, the response of the proposed system for the share of server ratio is 0.122, when the input parameter in the smallest levels; and the ratio is 0.879 when the input parameters are in highest level. The smart work and flexible use for the FLC is the main success solution for most of today systems control.

Fuzzy Logic Control (FLC) is a reliable control system for controlling nonlinear systems, but to obtain optimal fuzzy logic control results, optimal Membership Function parameters are needed. Therefore in this paper Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is used as a fast and accurate optimization method to determine Membership Function parameters. The optimal control system simulation is carried out on the automatic steering system of the vehicle model and the results obtained are the vehicle's lateral motion error can be minimized so that the movement of the vehicle can always be maintained on the expected trajectory

The weight reduction concept is most effective to reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases from vehicles, which also improves fuel efficiency. Amongst lightweight materials, magnesium alloys are attractive to the automotive sector as a structural material. Welding feasibility of magnesium alloys acts as an influential role in its usage for lightweight prospects. Friction stir welding (FSW) is an appropriate technique as compared to other welding techniques to join magnesium alloys. Field of friction stir welding is emerging in the current scenario. The friction stir welding technique has been selected to weld AZ91 magnesium alloys in the current research work. The microstructure and mechanical characteristics of the produced FSW butt joints have been investigated. Further, the influence of post welding heat treatment (at 260 °C for 1 h) on these properties has also been examined. Post welding heat treatment (PWHT) resulted in the improvement of the grain structure of weld zones which affected the mechanical performance of the joints. After heat treatment, the tensile strength and elongation of the joint increased by 12.6 % and 31.9 % respectively. It is proven that after PWHT, the microhardness of the stir zone reduced and a comparatively smoothened microhardness profile of the FSW joint obtained. No considerable variation in the location of the tensile fracture was witnessed after PWHT. The results show that the impact toughness of the weld joints further decreases after post welding heat treatment.
