Diseases can be caused by pathogenic microorganism that appears due to unhygienic attitude. Hygiene attitude have to be integral part of human life. The increasing of hygiene attitude can be reached by continuous education. The right knowledge that can forms and increases hygiene attitude is microbiology. The aim of this research is to know the correlation between knowledge of microbiology and Biology Education Students’ Hygiene Attitude. It was conducted at Jurusan Biologi FMIPA UNJ on April-May 2012. The method of this research that used is descriptive method with survey technique. The samples of this research are 50 Biology education studentsof class 2008. Samples were taken by simple random sampling technique. Prerequsite tests that used were normality test of Kolmogorov-Smirnov by SPSS 16.0 and Test of Homogenity of Variances (levene statistic) by SPSS 16.0. Statistic test which used was nonparametric technique by correlation test of Spearman Rank by SPSS 16.0. Result of the research shows that there is correlation between knowledge of microbiology and Biology Education Students’ Hygiene Attitude.

Communication technology developing rapidly in this globalization era makes a lot of people use gadget as one of any media for communicate and entertaiment. Not only adult but teenager in school age. That increasing use of gadget for parent and teenager cause a new phenomena in family called alone together. This reasearch aim to give a description about the effect of alone together phenomenon on family interaction. This reasearch was conducted in 209 Junior High School, East Jakarta. This data reasearch processed by using simple random sampling technique and this reasearch use survey methode. Total samples 185 active students in 209 Junior High School, East Jakarta. This whole reasearch data are using SPSS 2.2 and Microsoft Excel. The prerequisite test in this study use kolmogorov smirnov for normality test and the result shows that data are not normally distribute. So the reasearch use non parametric calculation. Result of correlation coefficient test are obtained >  that is equal to -0,353 > 0,138. Result of t-test with significancy level 0,05 obtained >  that equal to -5,688 > 1,97 the result explain that there are a negative and significant correlation between alone together and family interaction. Alone together give 15% effective contribute to family interaction and the other 85% determine by other factors. Abstrak Teknologi komunikasi yang berkembang dengan cepat di era globalisasi membuat banyak masyarakat menggunakan gadget sebagai salah satu media atau sarana berkomunikasi dan mencari hiburan. Tidak hanya orang dewasa melainkan remaja dalam usia sekolah. Meningkatnya penggunaan gadget yang berlebih pada orang tua dan remaja tersebut menimbulkan suatu fenomena baru di dalam keluarga, yang disebut dengan alone together. Akibat dari fenomena tersebut adalah berkurangnya intensitas interaksi di dalam keluarga, khususnya interaksi antara orang tua dan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran hubungan fenomena alone together dengan interaksi keluarga. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 209 Jakarta Timur. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan simple random sampling. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 185 siswa aktif di SMP Negeri 209 Jakarta Timur. Perhitungan data menggunakan SPSS 2.2 dan Excel. Uji prasyarat pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas kolmogorov smirnov dan hasil yang ada menyatakan bahwa data tidak berdistribusi dengan normal, maka penelitian ini mengunakan perhitungan non parametrik. Uji hipotesis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi dengan hasil >  yaitu sebesar  -0,353 > 0,138. Hasil uji t dengan taraf signifikasi 0,05 diperoleh yaitu >  -5,688 > 1,97 hal ini menjelaskan bahwa terdapat korelasi negatif dan hubungan yang signifikan antara fenomena alone together dengan interaksi keluarga. Alone together memberikan sumbangan efektif terhadap interaksi keluarga sebesar 15%, sedangkan sisanya 85% ditentukan oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti. Multimedia is a more complex learning media, and a means of delivering messages in two or more forms. This study aims to determine the effect of 50 M freestyle swimming course using multimedia on the learning outcomes of student majoring in sports education at FIK UNP. The method used is quasi experiment. The sampling technique is done by using a random sample quota technique. The sample size for each treatment group is 10 people, so the number of samples is 20 people or 50% of the total population. The results of the data normality test calculation used the Kolmogorov Smirnov test at a significance level of 0.05, showing a significance value> 0.05, so that all sample groups in this study came from normally distributed populations. From the hypothesis test using the t test, tcount> ttable or significance ≤ α value (0.05) was produced. The conclusion of the study was the 50 M freestyle swimming course using multimedia significantly affected the learning outcomes of FIK UNP's Sport Education students.

<p>The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of learning discipline <br />and logical mathematical intelligence on mathematics achievement. This study is a survey design. This research did in student class XI IPA SMA Negeri 98 Jakarta semester 2012/2013. The sample taken by simple random sampling technique, involved 40 students. The instrument were in the forms of questionnaires and tests. The data were analyzed first by test requirements, the normality test, linearity and multicollinearity. Based on the fulfillment of the criteria in terms of the tes analyzed, inferential analysis to the test the research hypothesis. The data were analyzed using correlation and multiple regression. The findings showed that (1) learning discipline and logical mathematical intelligence had a positive and significant simultaneous impact on mathematics achievement. (2) learning discipline had a positive and significant impact on mathematics achievement. (3) logical mathematical intelligence had a positive and significant impact on mathematics achievement. </p>

The purpose of the study was to determine the differences in mathematics learning outcomes and the effectiveness of google classroom-assisted learning in terms of learning styles on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research used an experimental research method with a randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Sampling using a simple random sampling technique. The population of this research is the seventhgrade students of one of the public junior high schools in Sleman. The sample of this study amounted to 54 students consisting of class VII C and VII D. The data collection techniques used in this study were tests and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used in this study were normality test, homogeneity test, similarity test, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study show that: (1) there are differences in learning outcomes in bold learning assisted by google classroom; (2) bold learning assisted by google classroom is more effective in terms of visual learning styles; (3) bold learning assisted by google classroom is not more effective in terms of auditory and kinesthetic learning styles.

This research used cross sectional design. The population was 194 respondents and the sample was 54 respondents which are taken by using simple random sampling technique. Independent variable in this research was demographic status that was measured by questionnaire and nutritional status that was measured based on Body Mass Index (BMI). Meanwhile, dependent variable in this research was the occurrence of anemia that was measured by using spectrophotometry. Data analysis used Fisher's Exact test and Two-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test (α = 0,05). Result of Fisher's Exact test was obtained that p value = 1,000 > 0,05, which meant that there was no significant correlation between demographic status and the occurrence of anemia. Meanwhile, result of Two-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was obtained that p value = 0,017 < 0,05, which meant that there was a significant correlation between nutritional status and the occurrence of anemia.

Background: Dead victim and/ or found in unregocnized condition need to be identified. The identification of the unrecognized victim is carried out to prove that the skeleton is a human skeleton with ethnicity, race, sex, estimated age, height and special characteristics. Body height is a main characteristic which used as an identification process for various interests. Estimated body height can be measured based on long bones, which one of them is radius bone. Objective: This study aimed to determine the correlation between the length of the radius bone with body height of Bataknese student, lecturer, and staff at Universitas HKBP Nommensen Medan. Method: This research was an analytic study with cross-sectional design. The sample of this study was 72 students and employees of Universitas HKBP Nommensen Medan, consist of 27 Bataknese men and 45 Bataknese women who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Sampling technique was done by purposive sampling. Data analysis was done by univariate method to describe the characteristics of the subjects, normality test used the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and bivariate analysis used the Pearson and Spearman tests to obtain the correlation between the radius bone length and body height. Results: The results of the study by sex, both men and women have a strong correlation value. Men have a correlation strength with r = 0.746 (p>0.05) and women have a correlation strength with r = 0.789 (p<0.05). Conclusion: There is a strong correlation between the length of the radius bone with body height of Bataknese students at Universitas HKBP Nommensen Medan.

Understanding the potential of self is very necessary to be given in an effort to prepare a tough generation of 21 century who have adequate skills. The fundamental problem is the low ability of self-recognition of kinesthetic response and communication between person and person in his group. Marginal children as well as groups of children The changes and demands of school curricula are directed to the development of the 21st-century generation. The study of kinesthetic and interpersonal skill indicators as part of the development of basic skills is developed in both formal and non-formal education. This study aims to analyze the increase of bodily-kinesthetic and interpersonal skill in science learning in MTs through the application of the scientific approach. The design of this research is quasi-experiment (Quasi-Experimental Design) which form Posttest-Only Control Design. The population in this research is all students of class VIII MTs Negeri Mranggen. The sample consists of two classes taken with simple random sampling technique. There is a significant difference between bodily-kinesthetic and interpersonal skills that use learners' worksheets with the teaching materials used in the school. The difference is indicated by the average bodily-kinesthetic and interpersonal skill values between experiment classes that have a higher value than the control class. Data were analyzed by using the right side t-test. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that the application of the scientific approach has an effect on the increase of bodily-kinesthetic and interpersonal skill of MTs students.

Snack foods that are less qualified health and nutrition will threaten the health of school-age children as gastrointestinal diseases, one of which is diarrhea.This study aims to determine the relationship of parental knowledge about street food with the incidence of diarrhea in children SD Negeri 1 Buayan District of Kebumen.This study uses descriptive correlative with retrospective approach. The study population 192 respondents. The research sample 66 respondents. This study was conducted in February-March 2016. The samples were taken using simple random sampling technique. Analysis of data using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov correlation test with significance level of 0.05. Based on the research results, the majority of parental knowledge about good hawker food as much as 53 (80.3%) of respondents and elementary school children who are not suffering from diarrhea were 58 (87.9%) persons. The results of the analysis with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov can be known p-value of 0.008 with (p <0.05) so that there is a significant relationship between parental knowledge about street food with the incidence of diarrhea in children SD Negeri 1 Buayan District of Kebumen.There is a relationship between parental knowledge about street food with the incidence of diarrhea in children SD Negeri 1 Buayan District of Kebumen. Keywords: Diarrhea, Food Snacks, Knowledge

Empowerment of creative thinking skills is important in every lecture activity, including practicum. This study aimed to analyze students' creative thinking skills in Plant Microtechnique practicum. This research used descriptive method in which the participants were the seventh semester biology education students (n=20) of State University of South Sumatera, Indonesia. The student has taken Plant Microtechnique Course in the previous semester. The instrument used was essay test developed based on creative thinking indicator. The data were processed by calculating the percentage for each indicator and categorized into three levels (i.e., low, medium, and high). The findings revealed that students’ creative thinking skills in Plant Microtechnique laboratory practices were medium for fluency indicator, and low for flexibility, originality, and elaboration indicators. Therefore, it is necessary to revise learning strategies that support the empowerment of students' creative thinking in Microtechnique Laboratory practices.

Interpersonal teacher behaviour is behaviors that specifically relate to how teachers interact with their students on a personal. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between students’ perceptions of interpersonal teacher behaviour with students’ biology outcomes. The research was conducted in January-June 2015 at the 13 Jakarta Senior High School. The method used was descriptive correlational method. The data of students’ perceptions of interpersonal teacher behaviour is colected with the Questionnaire on Teacher Interaction (QTI). Sampling was done by using Simple Random Sampling. The sample consisted of 85 students. The data tested by normality test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test (α = 0.05) and test homogeneity using Bartlett’s test at α = 0.05. The result showed that the data was normally distributed and homogen. The regression model is Ŷ = -85.53 + 0.96X. The correlation coefficient obtained was 0.76, which means there is a positive relationship between Students’ Perceptions of Interpersonal Teacher Behaviour with Students’ Biology Outcomes. In brief, teachers interpersonal has to be improved for getting great students learning outcome.
