Character education is a vital instrument in determining the progress of a nation. Therefore the government needs to build educational institutions in order to produce good human resources that are ready to oversee and deliver the nation at a progressive level. It’s just that in reality, national education is not in line with the ideals of national education because the output is not in tune with moral values on the one hand and the potential for individuals to compete in world intellectual order on the other hand. Therefore, as a solution to these problems is the need for the applicationof character education from an early age.

The significant number of publications describing unsuccessful cases in the introduction of health information systems makes it advisable to analyze the factors that may be contributing to such failures. However, the very notion of success is not equally assumed in all publications. Based in a literature review, the authors argue that the introduction of systems must be based in an eclectic combination of knowledge fields, adopting methodologies that strengthen the role of organizational culture and human resources in this project, as a whole. On the other hand, the authors argue that the introduction of systems should be oriented by a previously defined matrix of factors, against which the success can be measured.

Indonesia gets demographic bonus in 2015-2035. Demographic bonus is when the number of productive population of the age of 15-64 years reaches about 70% or about 180 million people and the rest is about 30% or about 60 million people of unproductive age. The demographic bonus is like a double-edged sword. This demographic bonus becomes a profitable phenomenon on the one hand and on the other hand can be disastrous for a country. Beneficial and potential if a country is able to prepare its young generation with a quality generation and vice versa would be disastrous if the state is unable to prepare its human resources. High quality human resources both in terms of education, health, skills so as to compete in the world of work. This phenomenon is of course interesting to be studied further, especially how the opportunities and challenges for diversity in Indonesia.

Students’ engagement in completing written assignments or learning activities may, in part, serve the purpose of achieving their learning goals. Assessing student work based on clearly stated course objectives, on the other hand, helps instructors to teach effectively by reaching out to each individual student with strategies compatible to the student’s needs and learning level. Such a teaching and learning process may be viewed as coaching through assessment (Chang & Petersen, 2006). It is an essential vehicle that students use to continuously reflect on and construct their particular knowledge and skills (Chang, 2007; Chang & Petersen, 2006; MacDonald & Twining, 2002). Without it, as found by Lim & Cheah (2003), students may feel lost and detach themselves from learning.

Quality improvement (QI) and downsizing have been two popular initiatives to enhance firm competitiveness. When used together, the relationship between them is neither simple norstraightforward. Although there have been many separate studies of QI and downsizing, there is a paucity of empirical work on the relationship between them, and their organizational implications. This study seeks to fill this lacuna by shedding light on: (a) how employees respond to these initiatives when combined; (b) their compatibility; and (c) ways to alleviate the negative effects of one initiative on the other.

The purpose of this article is to identify what are the human resources processes to be implemented in orthodontic practices to both improve the management of patients, but also the profitability of the structure in terms of both organization and financial. The work on the cohesion of the teams will create a collective commitment which depends on the one hand on the quality of the recruitment of the employees, and then on the motivation levers set up within the teams and maintained over time. In the teams the intergenerational collaboration must be managed and optimized. On the other hand, the orthodontist leader must have a clear strategy and clear objectives to be able to communicate effectively. He must also know the communication tools according to the circumstances to convey the messages he needs.

Technology stimulates output and creates new demand. The introduction of new technologies usually causes an increase in investments, which creates more jobs in companies that produce capital goods. Competition occurs as a function of output quality. On the other hand, technology reduces costs by increasing efficiency in regard to output. This leads to one of three effects: the prices of the denoted products or services decrease, the wages in industries that apply new technologies increase, and profits increase. These three effects are the results of competitiveness as expressed by technology. The significant characteristics of technologies are: increase in productivity, quality improvement, cost reduction, flexibility, reliability, security, etc. They are, actually, the basic prerogatives for competitiveness. By deciding on a new technology, the general characteristics of every individual technology are assessed in order to ensure the technical and economic justification for its implementation.
