This research article aims to analyze the effectiveness of learning activities implemented by MI Muhammadiyah 2 Kedungbanteng in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic, namely online and offline. Of course, these two learning systems have similarities and differences, strengths and weaknesses both in the learning process and the effectiveness to be achieved. Qualitative research method with a descriptive approach based on field facts, namely a comparative study of offline and online learning. The results of the study and discussion show that there are differences between online and offline learning in terms of methods, media, and learning processes that complement each other in achieving basic competencies. There are several obstacles in the learning activities of these two systems, such as limited learning time because learning time is reduced so that the material presented is not optimal. If it is presented its effectiveness is only about 70%. That is why teachers and parents collaborate with each other to motivate students by giving interesting and fun assignments and all teachers make a video to provide energy and motivation for students even though they are only learning at home.

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced teachers to conduct learning activities online through digital technology. As they are accustomed to the conventional or offline learning process, this digital-based learning transformation has resulted in teachers experiencing shock culture and students affected immensely. The current research aims to describe the strategies applied for digital-based learning, examine challenges in digital-based learning, and identify digital-based learning impacts on students' self-resilience. It employs the qualitative research method, and the data consist of primary and secondary data. The primary one is derived from the observation of focus group discussion and documentation. The secondary one is in the form of references from books, journals, and articles. By data reduction and conclusion drawing in a descriptive qualitative analysis, the findings show that using learning application varies depending on the teachers' capability and convenience, and agreement from the institution. The only learning media used in the format are videos and pictures, considering the weak internet bandwidth and limited internet quota. The challenges in digital-based learning should be the point of attention for both teachers and parents. The impacts resulted from this digital-based learning system on students' self-resilience are considerable. Supports from family and school must be wholly given to reinforce students' self-resilience.

This research aims to describe the role of teacher’s in teaching learning activities from home in SDN Gelam 1 Candi Sidoarjo during covid-19 pandemic. The research method uses qualitative research of phenomenological types. Data collection techniques using questionnaires given to students, teachers, and parents. Data analysis techniques using the Miles & Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, verification and conclusions. The results showed all indicators namely planning, implementation, assessment, and allocation of learning time, meaning that all indicators of the application of learning have been achieved and there are no significant constraints during the learning activities teaching from home. This research uses a questionnaire instrument in which the questionnaire instrument is closed so that the data results are less in-depth, further research is expected to uncover the phenomenon through interview techniques.

<p><em>Textbooks are one of the teaching materials that can influence in learning activities, because they can be a reference for teachers and students. The purpose of this study was to determine the four standard feasibility of a grade VI student book on the theme of globalization in the curriculum 2013. The research method used in this study is qualitative with a type of descriptive approach that is library research. Participants or research objects that act as a source of data research information are the books of grade VI students and teachers. The data collection techniques used are documentation and interview techniques. Based on the results of the research analysis, it shows that the average value of the standardized analysis of the grade student book on the theme of globalization obtained a percentage 85,31% with the title “very worthy”. Thus this book can be used as best as possible.</em></p>

AbstractThis research is motivated by several problems, including: The teacher's strategy in inculcating character values. Teacher constraints in planting character values. Solutions in overcoming obstacles in planting character values. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the teacher's strategy in instilling character values, what are the teacher's obstacles in instilling character values, what are the solutions in overcoming obstacles in instilling character values. This study aims to analyze the teacher's strategy in instilling character values, and discuss the teacher's obstacles in instilling character values and discuss what solutions to overcome the obstacles in inculcating character values during the covid-19 pandemic through PPKn subjects at SMAN 1 Gunung Talang, Solok Regency.The research method used is qualitative with descriptive approach which produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behavior at the research location of SMAN 1 Gunung Talang, Solok district. With the technique of Observation, Interview by seeking complete and in-depth information and Documentation Study.The results of this study show the teacher's strategy in instilling character values in learning using lesson plans and a scientific approach in the form of a lecture method by inculcating the values of Religion, Honesty, Discipline, Responsibility, while the teacher's obstacles in inculcating character values are not found the right method in teaching because during the pandemic reduced learning time, and solutions to overcome obstacles in instilling character values using other, more varied media such as videos.Keywords: value, character, civic education, pandemic, covid 19AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh beberapa permasalahan antara lain: Strategi guru dalam penanaman nilai karakter. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana strategi guru dalam menanamkan nilai karakter, apa saja kendala guru dalam menanamkan nilai karakter, apa solusi dalam mengatasi kendala dalam penanaman nilai karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi guru dalam penanaman nilai karakter, dan membahas kendala guru dalam menanamkan nilai karakter serta membahas solusi apa untuk mengatasi kendala dalam penanaman nilai karakter selama pandemi covid-19 melalui mata pelajaran PPKn di SMAN 1 Gunung Talang Kabupaten Solok. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Kualitatif dengan pendekatan Deskriptif yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau lisan dari orang-orang dan perilaku yang diamati lokasi penelitian SMAN 1 Gunung Talang kabupaten Solok. Dengan teknik Observasi, Wawancara dengan mencari informasi secara lengkap dan mendalam serta Studi Dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Strategi guru dalam penanaman nilai karakter dala pembelajaran menggunakan RPP serta pendekatan saintifik berupa metode ceramah dengan cara penanaman nilai Religius, Kejujuran, Kedisiplinan, Tanggung jawab, sedangkan kendala guru dalam penanaman nilai karakter tidak ditemukan metode yang tepat dalam mengajar dikarenakan selama pandemi waktu pembelajaran dikurangi, dan solusi dalam mengatasi kendala dalam menanamkan nilai karakter menggunakan media lain yang lebih variatif seperti video.Kata kunci: nilai, karakter, PKn, pandemi, covid 19

This study aims to describe the implementation of online learning that is applied today, and to develop a blended learning model as a strategy to provide student services according to the diversity of potential, needs, interests, and learning speeds. This study used research and development design. Several stages were carried out, namely, conducting literature studies, planning, organizing, mapping basic competencies, carrying out learning activities, reporting, and dissemination. The preliminary research samples included 10,466 students, and the samples for the blended learning model trial included 144 students through random sampling. The results showed that many students were happy to study at home, whereas others were happy to study at school. The facilities to support online learning at home were sufficient. The online learning presented by the teachers was quite interesting and most parents support it. Based on these findings, a blended learning model was developed. The results of the model trial show that blended learning is very useful and there is a significant increase in student learning outcomes. The blended learning model is very effective at supporting online learning. It can provide optimal services to students according to their talents, interests, and abilities. For that, a special strategy is needed and the cooperation of all the elements of the school. The development of an IT-based management system is very helpful in monitoring the progress of students and increasing the awareness of teachers and parents in overseeing the success of learning. The blended learning model in high school can be one of the models for schools that implement a semester credit system.

<p><em>Character</em><em> education is very important in order to shape the character of the nation. Character education can make students become social beings who help each other, are civilized and polite. Teaching and learning activities carried out in Indonesia previously were face-to-face or offline learning. At the time of face-to-face or offline learning, teachers can easily observe the character of students and can provide direction and character education easily. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced the change of face-to-face or offline learning to be replaced by online or virtual. For this reason, collaboration and communication between teachers and parents of students to jointly apply character education is very necessary. Teachers can provide good habituation tasks, by implementing PPK (Strengthening Character Education) in online or virtual activities, and parents working with teachers to supervise student activities from home.</em></p>

Character education is understood as an effort to instill intelligence in thinking, appreciation in the form of attitudes, and experiences in the form of behavior that is in accordance with the noble values that are the identity of themselves. Character education instilled in Islamic education is the creation of the nature of students who have moral character. The importance of character education because some of the problems of the current generation are moral crises. The research method used in qualitative research with field research uses a descriptive approach. Based on the data analysis found The form of character education material in moral akidah learning at MIN 3 Middle Tapanuli requires teaching, exemplary, and reflection of morals, worship, and aqeedah. The most important points in character education teach children to behave according to the guidance of the Koran and the Sunnah. Implementation of Character Education in moral learning in MIN 3 Central Tapanuli is carried out in three ways, namely learning activities in the classroom, activities outside the classroom, and activities outside of school. Existing facilities and infrastructure are recognized or not have helped provide convenience in character education in moral akidah learning at MIN 3 Central Tapanuli with existing materials and using methods of habituation, exemplary, and reflection as well as methods that activate students in the process learning.

The purpose of this research is to determine suitability of stundent book of fourth grade student based on Curricullum 2013 on theme “Pahlawanku” subtheme “Perjuangan Para Pahlawan” on lesson six with core competencies, learning objectives, indicator, learning activity, materials, tools and learning resources. This section is the sixth fragmen of eighteen analyze of learning activities plan in student book grade fourth based Curicullum 2013. Research method is descriptive qualitative method by analyzing documents are student book of fourth grade student based on Curricullum 2013 on theme “Pahlawanku” subtheme “Perjuangan Para Pahlawan” on lesson six and teacher book of fourth grade student based on Curricullum 2013 on theme “Pahlawanku” subtheme “Perjuangan para Pahlawan” on lesson six. The analize revolves on the rule of Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Nasional, an article discussing about the implementation of Curricullum 2013 and article from website of Badan Nasional Standar Pendidikan (BSNP). Based on result of this research are found that core competencies of mathematics that do not appear in the competency mapping appear in learning materials, indicators of IPA do not match the needed of basic competencies, learning objectives that are not in accordance with the formulation of indicators, materials of IPA and PJOK subjects to liltte and learning subject and tools not listed in student books. Based on the results of the analysis it was conclude that student book of fourth grade student theme “Pahlawanku” subtheme “Perjuangan Para Pahlawan” on lesson six needs a lot of improvement in accordance with the study result.

The purpose of this study is to find out the state of education during the pandemic, more specifically to find out the learning strategies used to deliver material to students in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition to the educational strategy, because schools are the objects under the umbrella of Muhammadiyah, Muhammadiyah education and the way it is delivered will be the objectives of this research article. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method which is a research process to understand social or human problems by analyzing words to create a complex and comprehensive picture, to report views of detailed information obtained from information sources in the natural environment. The research found that SMP Muhammdiyah 6 Krian uses a personalized method in the discussion system. Here, the teacher provokes discussion and tests students' understanding through calling names one by one. In online learning, discussion sessions must be done to determine how much students understand the material provided. In addition to the personalized method, the teacher also uses a consultation method when offline learning takes place. The Covid-19 pandemic indirectly directs educators to think more creatively so that students can still receive and understand the material given well. Educators can combine offline and online learning methods by providing a variety of tasks to increase student understanding.
