This research aims to find out how much religious understanding, Islamic work ethic, discipline, responsibility, and education affect the professionalism of performance in sharia insurance employees in Samarinda City. The research method used in this study is quantitative research, with a population of 16 respondents from 3 Islamic insurance companies in Samarinda and all employees became respondents. The data instruments used in this study are validity test with product moment correlation formula, reliability test, classic assumption test, with analysis of multiple linear regression test data, partial test (t test), and f test, where to see the effect that occurs between variables free, religious understanding, Islamic work ethic, discipline, responsibility, and education (X) with dependent variable on employee performance (Y). The results of this study indicate data analysis, religious understanding variables, Islamic work ethic, and education do not have a significant effect on the professionalism of employee performance. While the discipline and responsibility variables have a significant influence on the professionalism of employee performance. Then the variables of religious understanding, Islamic work ethic, discipline, responsibility, and education together (simultaneously) have a significant effect on the professionalism of employee performance.

The Islamic work ethic and productivity are parts of the work concept that raise value in forming good personality in the work based on the recommendation of the principle in Islam. The research investigated 40 employees as research samples through the utilization of quantitative methods: questionnaire (questionnaire), documentation, and observation. The used analysis included validity test, reliability test, statistical collinearity test, partial test, and determination test (R2). The tool in analyzing the data was path way analysis with the Smart Pls 3.0 program. The results found that the Islamic Work Ethic has a positive washback on Employee Performance, Work Quality, and Productivity. Employee Performance has a positive washback on employee performance with a positive and significant effect on work quality. Productivity does not significantly influence employee performance, and it also does not significantly influence work quality.

This study aims to determine the effect of work environment and work ethic on employee performance in the Regional Education and Culture Office of Sangihe Islands Regency. This study used a survey research method, where the research instrument was a tested questionnaire and met the validity and reliability test requirements. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The population in this study were all employees at the Education and Culture Office of the Sangihe Islands Regency totaling 70 people, while the number of samples was 60 people. The results show that there is an influence of the work environment on the performance of employees at the Regional Education and Culture Office of the Sangihe Islands Regency, there is an influence of work ethic on the performance of employees at the Regional Education and Culture Office of the Sangihe Islands Regency, and there is a joint influence on the work environment and work ethic on the performance of employees at the Regional Education and Culture Office of Sangihe Islands Regency.

This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline, work environment and competence on the performance of employees of the Community and Village Empowerment Service of Nganjuk Regency. In this study using quantitative research methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and questionnaires. Sampling in this study used a non-probability sampling technique. The population in this study were employees of the Community and Village Empowerment Service of Nganjuk Regency, amounting to 42 people. The analytical tools used in this research are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, t-test and F-test. The results showed that work discipline and competence had a positive but not partially significant effect on employee performance, the work environment had a positive and partially significant effect on employee performance and work discipline, work environment, competence had a positive and significant effect simultaneously on employee performance.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin kerja, lingkungan kerja dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja karyawan Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa Kabupaten Nganjuk. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan penyebaran kuesioner. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakay dan Desa Kabupaten Nganjuk yang berjumlah 42 orang. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, uji regresi linier berganda, uji-t dan uji-F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja dan kompetensi berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan dan disiplin kerja, lingkungan kerja, kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

This study aimed to identify the effect of the E-Kinerja (E-Performance) application and integrity on employee performance in OPD Payakumbuh City. This study used a quantitative research method. The research variable of this study consisted of independent variables, namely E-performance and integrity, while the dependent variable was employee performance. The population of this study were OPD employees in Payakumbuh, and the sample of this study was 97 respondents who were determined using the Slovin formula with a significant level of 10%. The data in this study were collected through questionnaires that were distributed to respondents using a Likert measurement scale. The analysis of this study used multiple linear regression test. The results showed that e-performance and integrity had significant influences on employee performance in OPD Payakumbuh City.

The existence of the theory of compensation from Dessler in the concept of factors that affect compensation are 3 factors: internal organization, personal employees and external companies. In this case the internal factor of the organization which includes the funds of the organization and the union, the union is an example of one company policy that can affect employee work ethic. If the company's policy of overtime, salary increases and holiday allowances (THR) in accordance with the provisions of the Workers Act, indirectly can improve employee performance spirit. Based on the compensation theory, this study tries to test the indirect relationship between company policy and employee work ethic by entering the compensation variable as intervening variable. The population of this research is all employees of Public Accountant Firm Chandra, amounting to 41 people. This research uses quantitative research method with Path Analysis analysis technique whose test is done with software SPSS 13.0 The result of the analysis concludes that compensation as intervening variable mediates to the influence of company policy on employee work ethic. Based on these results, the hypothesis of this study is evident

ABSTRACTThis research addreses to determinate the effect of Islamic work ethics to employee performance and job satisfaction as an intervening variable in RS PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta.The population in this study are all nurses RS PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta totaling 258 nurses. The sampling tehnique used purposive sampling method and sample obtained 75 respondents. Data were analyzed using SPSS for Windows Release 20.0.The dependent variable (Y) of this research is employee performance. The independent variable (X) Islamic work ethic and for intervening variables (Z) is job satisfaction. This method used is quantitative research methods. For the method of data analysis self are using path analysis.The results of this showed that: (1) the work ethic Islam is influence positively significant for the employee performance. (2) Islamic work ethics influenced positively significant effect on job satisfaction. (3) Job satisfaction has a positively significant on employee performance. (4) The Islamic work ethic influenced toward employee performance by means job satisfaction as intervening variable.Keywords: Islamic work ethic, job satisfaction, employee performance

This research aims to examine and analyze the impact of a work conflict and work motivation on employee performance. The research method is quantitative research. The sample in this study is 40 employees. The statistical analysis used in this study is the validity and reliability test, classical assumption test, and multiple linear tests. Data processing using SPSS software version 18. This study shows that work conflict has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance and work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This study implies that work conflicts that occur in employees in the company do not make the level of performance decrease; besides, the company has succeeded in implementing work motivation because the higher the motivation of employees, the higher the performance for the company.

This study aims to describes the ability of communication, organizational climate, and work motivation on the create of employee performance in the Yapen Selatan District. The research method used is quantitative research using statistical procedures. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The sample in this study were 52 employees in the Yapen Selatan District. Multiple linear regression test with the help of SPSS 22 software is used to determine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results showed that the variables of communication and work motivation had a significant positive effect on employee performance. While the organizational climate variable has a significant negative effect on employee performance. Communication, organizational climate, and work motivation together have an effect on the performance of South Yapen District employees. The purpose of this study is to test the Influence of Work Motivation, Competence, and Compensation Against Performance Employees Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Mentawai Islands District. This study is a census. The data used are primary data by taking sample of 79 (seventy nine) respondents. This research uses analytical tools such as validity, reliability test, multiple linear regression test, t test, F test and coefficient of determination (R2). The results of this study illustrate that all variables have an effect on employee performance except the compensation variable. The results can be described by the equation Y = 12.752 + 0.248X1 + 0.396X2 + 0.051 X3, where X1 = Work Motivation, X2 = Competence, and X3 = Compensation. This means that the constant of 12.752 states that factors other than the variables X1, X2, and X3 that affect employee performance of 12,752. Work Motivation coefficient of 0.248 states that if the variable X1 added one unit will add the effect of employee performance of 0.248 with the assumption that the competence and compensation variables are constant. The regression coefficient X2 of 0.396 is that if the variable X2 increases one unit will increase the employee performance by 0.396 with the assumption that the variable of work motivation and compensation is constant. Furthermore, with X3 regression coefficient of 0.051. This means that with other factors considered constant, the effect of compensation is less than that of work motivation and competence.

Human resource is a very important element in achieving organizational goals. If the organization has a good quality of resources, the organization will be more effective. While the effectiveness of the organization is reflected from the employee performance. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of workplace spirituality on Islamic work ethic, Islamic work ethic on employee performance, workplace spirituality on employee performance, and the influence of Islamic work ethic as an intervening variable on the relation between workplace spirituality and employee performance, with samples from PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta Hospital, and IPHI Pedan Hospital, Klaten. The result of the research shows that workplace spirituality has significant effect on Islamic work ethic with, Islamic work ethic has no significant effect to employee performance, workplace spirituality has no significant effect to employee performance, and Islamic work ethic as mediation variable on relation between workplace spirituality (STK) to employee performance has no significant influence.
