Islamic education philosophy is an educational philosophy based on Quran and al-Sunnah as a source of Islamic teachings. In addition, Islamic education philosophy also adopts sources from others that are not contrary to Islamic teachings. Thus, the source of guidance for Islamic education philosophy consists of two categories: the source of normative and historical sources. Normative sources are sources derived from the Quran and al-Sunnah (nash); while the historical source is a thought about the philosophy of Islamic education adopted from outside of Islamic teachings. Thus, there are three schools in the philosophy of Islamic education: the liberal, conservative, and critical groups that combine the two earlier groups (sholih li kulli zaman wa makan). This paper will discuss the subject matter of Islamic education philosophy and the sources of the three groups of flow by discussing the elements contained in the teachings of Islam, such as God, man, and nature. The purpose of this paper is to provide an understanding that the basic principles contained therein can be applied in Islamic education

There are abundant Javanese manuscripts in Indonesia. One of the interesting Javanese manuscripts which was reviewed in this paper is Serat Wasitawala. This serat was written in a genre of piwulang. It contains character values that are expected to be the source of the curriculum enrichment for the 2013 national curriculum (Kurtilas) that puts the values of the characters as a priority. Using philology methods and hermeneutical approach, this article reveals content of the text and educational values in Serat Wasitawala, along with the context of writing and its relevance to nowadays education. Serat Wasitawala contains educational values that could represent the concept of Islamic education of Java in the past was written by Mas Demang Warsapradongga. Serat Wasitawala in general was a form of life doctrines both related to God as well as to human beings. The values of character education reflected in it are as follows; wondering, love science, thinking logically, critical, creative, and innovative; religious; honest; responsible; disciplined, hard working, confident boundaries; polite; nationalist; and appreciating diversity. The issues of education that are integral and related with nowadays context include character education/morals, professional teachers, and educational philosophy aimed at seeking perfection of life.

Ikhwan Al-Safa merupakan organisasi yang menekuni bidang kajian filsafat pendidikan, khususnya dalam pendidikan Islam. Adapun salah satu hasil pemikirannya terhadap tujuan pendidikan adalah moral dan dilandaskan pada aliran filsafat religius-rasional. Pendidikan Islam tidak hanya berkembang di wilayah yang berbasis agama Islam, melainkan juga terdapat di beberapa negara seperti Indonesia. Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia mulai mengalami pembaruan pada masa pergerakan atau abad ke-20 Masehi. Banyak organisasi Islam yang memberikan perhatiannya terhadap kondisi pendidikan Islam di Indonesia, seperti Adabiyah school, Muhammadiyah, Nahdlatul Ulama, dan sebagainya. Berdasarkan pemaparan tersebut maka penulisan dalam artikel ini hendak mengkaji perbandingan dari tujuan pendidikan berdasarkan pemikiran Ikhwan Al Safa dengan tujuan pendidikan di Indonesia pada masa pergerakan nasional. Metode penelitian menggunakan jenis kualitatif deskriptif, sumber data berupa sumber tertulis relevan, dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan content analysis. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh antara tujuan pendidikan Islam Ikhwan Al Safa dengan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia masa pergerakan memiliki persamaan yaitu mencetak generasi yang berlandaskan pada ajaran Islam dan berintelektual. Namun, antara keduanya tentunya memiliki perbedaan dimana organisasi Islam di Indonesia dalam merumuskan tujuan pendidikannya tergantung dari aliran filsafat yang mereka tekuni.   Kata Kunci: Ikhwan Al-Safa, Pendidikan Islam, Pergerakan Nasional Abstract Ikhwan Al-Safa is an organization that is engaged in the study of educational philosophy, especially in Islamic education. One of the results of his thoughts on the purpose of education is moral and it is based on a religious-rational philosophy. Islamic education is not only developing in areas based on Islam, but also in several countries such as Indonesia. Islamic education in Indonesia began to experience renewal during the movement or the 20th century AD. Many Islamic organizations pay attention to the condition of Islamic education in Indonesia, such as the Adabiyah school, Muhammadiyah, Nahdlatul Ulama, and so on. Based on this explanation, the writing in this article intends to examine the comparison of educational goals based on the thoughts of Ikhwan Al Safa with the goals of education in Indonesia during the national movement. The research method uses descriptive qualitative type, the data source is the form of relevant written sources, and the data analysis technique used is content analysis. Based on the results obtained, the objectives of Ikhwan Al Safa's Islamic education and Islamic education in Indonesia during the movement have the same thing, namely creating a generation that is based on Islamic teachings and intellectuals. However, there are differences between the two of course, where Islamic organizations in Indonesia in formulating their educational goals depend on the philosophical stream which they are engaged in.

This research is a study of disciplinary and interdisciplinary research in Islamic education dealing with 21st century learning skills. The problem faced by Islamic education is the adjustment of Islamic education in the era of digitalization and learning in the 21st century with the aim of preparing generations of Muslims who are ready to live in accordance with their times. This study focuses on educational institutions and curriculum. The disciplinary approach is problem solving through a theological and interdisciplinary approach in question: problem solving through allied science including; educational philosophy, psychology, Islamic education. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature study as a basis for data collection. One of the characteristics of qualitative research is to explore issues thoroughly, from various books and journals related to the theme, both from within and outside the country, then analyzed.This paper produces 1) one discourse that the disciplinary and interdisciplinary approach is able to solve the problems faced by Islamic education in the 21st century, 2) the disciplinary and interdisciplinary blend of concepts that are inseparable in solving and dealing with current Islamic education problems.Keywords: disipliner, interdisipliner, islamic education

Abstract The central issue faced by the Muslim world, especially Islamic education today is the inception of secular science. Science is presented in the form of dichotomy. To pave the issue of Islamic education, the required reconstruction of the educational philosophy of Islam. In order to answer this question the author tries to present the ideas of Ibn Sina were rational religious scented. Ibn Sina is a figure of Islamic education which produces a lot of work in various fields of science, especially medicine and education, Ibn Sina emphasizes education was held by non-dichotomous. Educational purposes thinks should be directed towards preparing a person to be able to live in the community together with the conduct of expertise chosen according to their talents and potentials. The schools of educational philosophy believe in their views for development and change. The flow of philosophy makes the world of education more advanced and quality. The views of progressivism, perennialism, essentialism, constructionism andconstructivism are projected in educators, students, curriculum, principles of education and learning. Early Childhood Islamic Education (PIAUD) is one of the media for actualizing the views of educational philosophical schools that are relevantto local culture. so that many schools of philosophy can be adopted.

The concept of educational philosophy is one of the theories in solving various problems that exist in the world of education because education requires a philosophy to solve existing problems in the world of education whether it concerns the problems that are limited by experience, as well as the facts of education that exist at this time. The implications of Islamic education philosophy on Islamic religious education is to determine the concept of education that is suitable in its application in educational wisdom therefore the Islamic education curriculum is a tool to achieve a success desired by an educational institution, the curriculum is very important for education because in covering the objectives, content, strategies or methods of learning of Islamic religious education and its evaluation. The development of an Islamic education curriculum is an unfinished activity. Must be done continuously and continuously both in aspect of planning, implementation and evaluation based on Islamic values.
