Therefore, it is imperative to find the psychological, social, and motivational factors that can help them in the treatment process. The present study was an attempt to determine the relationship of psychological, social, and motivational factors and demographics of the persons who use drugs (PWUD). Methods: An analytical cross-sectional study was carried out. Psychological, Social, and Motivational Performance Questionnaire for the PWUD was first translated into Farsi and validated after securing permission from the copyright holder of the tool. Participants were 250 PWUD under methadone therapy who were selected through convenient sampling. Before analyzing the collected data, validity and reliability of the tool were confirmed using confirmatory and exploratory factor analyses. Given the scale of demographical data, descriptive and analytic statistics were used to analyze the relationship between demographical variables and psychological, social, and motivational factors. Results: The results of exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses showed that out of 83 statements in the original questionnaire, 55 statements categorized into 11 aspects were usable for Iranian population. The results showed that gender, income, and marital status were effective in Psychological functioning of the PWUD (P<0.05). However, education level, domicile, and type of drug and consumption did not have a significant relationship with social functioning of the participants (p>0.05). There was a significant relationship between age, number of children, and history of using drug and Psychological functioning of the participants (P<0.01). The results showed that the demographics did not have a notable effect on the participants’ motivation for treatment; only marital status had a significant relationship with the participants’ treatment readiness (P<0.05). Conclusion: As the results showed, the demographical variables could affect physical, psychological, and motivational readiness in the participants.

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between age experiencing of menarche (first menstruation) with the student’s confidence in a high school in Padang. The population of the study was all students at Senior High School 6 Padang. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling. The number of samples used was 186 people using a questionnaire that had been tested for its validity and reliability before. The results of this study indicate that the age of menarche has a significant relationship to the confidence of these students. Besides that, the correlation coefficient is negative hence thefaster a person experiences menarche, the lower confidence she will has. The relationship between age of experiencing menarche with self-confidence is significant because the physical and psychological changes that occur after a person experiences menarche can affect one's confidence. Even so, it is not only the age of menarche that is associated with self-confidence, but there are other factors such as the learning process of the environment, family, friends or the community. It is because self-confidence is not a hereditary factor, so that everyone can increase their self-confidence in order to optimize their potential for success

The evaluation of IUD contraceptive services is still lack of quality until now. Many IUD  acceptors choose to stop use contraception because they don't accept side effects such as bleeding, and fear of interfering with sexual intercourse. Adequate information from professional health personnel, in the form of counseling, is a very important step in helping women choose the best contraceptive method and according to their needs. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between education level and work period of midwives to the knowledge of midwives about IUD counseling. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a crossectional design. The number of respondents was 124 midwives Public Health Center in Bandung. The sampling technique uses consecutive sampling. Measurement of IUD counseling knowledge using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability using the Rasch Model with alpha chron-bach 0.87 (Good). Data were analyzed using SPSS 20 chi-square. The results of the study found that almost all of the 96% of respondents were lack of knowledge about counseling IUDs. The chi-square analysis results did not have a significant relationship between the level of education and knowledge of IUD counseling p = 0.548 (> 0.05). There is no significant relationship between the period of work with knowledge of IUD counseling p = 0.081 (> 0.05). Communication and counseling have been included in the Midwifery Diploma III education curriculum, but the level of education does not have a significant relationship to the knowledge of midwives about IUD counseling. This shows that the learning process in educational institutions has not been able to produce midwives who have knowledge of IUD counseling as expected.
